One of the best Eye Clinics Ive ever been to in my life. The Dr. is amazing. In my 40+years of living Ive never seen more clearly through glasses. The rx gives me perfect 20/20.

When I go to my vision exams, I always know I will be well taken care of. The staff is always very welcoming & always smiling. Dr Schmidt does an amazing job with my kids during exams & explains things throughly. Three out of four of us have glasses. We absolutely love going to Lindsay while picking out frames. She is so professional, fun, knowledgeable and honest! If there are any questions, she is sure to have the answer! We love Lindsay & everyone at Dr. Schmidt’s office!!

Staff are always friendly. Dr Schmidt doesn’t make his patients feel like they are on a timer and is always willing to answer questions and do what he can to get the orient what they need… I’m very satisfied with the entire clinic!! A coffee center would be awesome but right now probably not! Office was recently redone and looks great!! 🥰🥰

We were well satisfied with our visit. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful, and the doctor was personable and very kind. We really felt like they took our eye care seriously. They have a good selection of frames and contact lenses, the prices are reasonable, and the staff doesnt pressure you to buy what you dont need. The facility is clean and nice looking, the equipment is sanitary, up to date, and obviously cared for. We will absolutely be back for all of our eye care needs!

What can I say about Dr. Schmidt and staff, other than the fact that they are AMAZING! If I could give them 10 stars I would!! I started having vision issues with my contacts several months ago. For whatever reason, my optometrist in Omaha could not get my contact prescription right. After three months, and several appointments (and trial pairs of contact) later, out of frustration, I gave up on them. That is when my co-worker recommended making an appointment with Dr. Schmidt. He was very patient with me from the start, reassuring me “we will get this figured out”, and he was right! I am happy to say that I am back to wearing contacts and have near perfect vision! Dr. Schmidt, I am convinced you are a miracle worker or possibly have superpowers!! Thank you so much for everything, I truly appreciate it!!

I was very pleased with the quality of care I received today. From the initial phone call getting a much needed appointmentin in a timely manner, the simplicity of filling out my med history and personal info online before I went in today. I did not have to wait long. The exam, the explanations, the chosing of glasses I was very pleased. I had never been here before. The staff implemented sanitary measures to the utmost during this pandemic I felt very safe going there. Thankyou to Dr Schmidt, Misty, and the other ladies who helped me pick out my glasses. We even followed him when he left to open his own practice! Due to chronic health problems, my mother has special eye care needs. I know Dr. Schmidt saved my mothers eye site. He is extremely knowledgeable, very thorough, and personable. Dr. Schmidt is by far one of the most compassionate people I have ever encountered in the medical field which I myself work in. His bedside manner is flawless! I always look forward to my visits here. I wish my family and I could find a provider like him for all of our healthcare needs.His entire staff is amazing! Filled out paperwork online after making appointment a month ago. Never received a call confirming appointment, so I called to see what time appointment was for today. I got a rude response from Nancy and an attitude from her that my appointment was canceled due to not confirming via text. Well come to find out they didnt input my correct phone number in the first place!!! When my husband picked up his glasses I gave them correct phone number realizing they probably had my old one. Plus filing out online with correct phone number!! Could have done without the attitude from Nancy. Will be getting my records and going elsewhere for vision needs.

Dr. Schmidt & his staff are always super friendly & welcoming! They are great about getting a person in at a moments notice! I’ve had the same problem with my eye 3 times throughout the past year(getting small particles from my facial soap in my eye & end up getting embedded in my top eyelid) & each time the receptionist was able to squeeze me in that same day without making me feel like a nuisance! Dr. Schmidt has been able to remove the small particles quickly & without discomfort! He’s very good about talking a person through the procedure.Thank you, Dr. Schmidt, the receptionist, & nurse!

Eye doctor appointment due to a foreign object hitting my eye. My original eye doctor was unable to get me in in such short notice so I called Schmidt Family Eye Care and they were able to see me and I wasnt a patient of theirs. I really appreciated that they were able to squeeze me into their busy day to check out my eye. Everyone was very nice. I would definitely recommend them to others.

The location itself is convenient and nice inside. I was looking to get in quickly and they were able to get me in same day. The out of pocket charge is bit expensive at $120 for a very basic/routine exam, but happy to pay it to get in right away.I didnt have to wait long to be taken back for my appt. The tests went easily and smoothly.The doctor himself is always really lovely and nice to work with.I didnt want to purchase glasses there as I wanted to order the same glasses I already have. They didnt push me, but the woman at the front desk seemed a bit sour.I asked to have my PD checked and she said shed only do it if I paid $15 (for something that literally takes 60 seconds). As I paid a great deal already and I consider it to be a part of a prescription... I found it an incredibly poor business practice. Especially when I could walk into Walmart and they would do it free without even being a customer.Most of my experience was good, but that in and of itself is enough for me to likely not return in the future.

I have Know Dr. Schmidt from his Walmart days. I was happy for him when he went on his own. I will say I have only been to his office twice since than due to no eye insurance. I went back lately got a new prescription and bought 2 pairs of glasses. I needed a regular pair for everyday and need another pair for riding my motorcycle. Barret has a young lady Kimberly knew exactly what I was looking for because see rides as well. Amazing experience.

Always had a good experience here. The staff is always friendly and never felt like I was bothering anybody. May not be the cheapest but when it comes to your eyes cheap is not something I look for.

Very kid-friendly! Dr Schmidt and his nurses and student nurses were all very good with my four year old. Understood that she was nervous and allowed the time necessary for her to work through her fears. Explained everything to her before they did it and put up with her many antics and changed minds during the frame selection process. Overall a rave review for this stellar team!
