Meet is very old so discuss, very bad customer service this is the owner family business they all very rude. His sons some time seating on the cashier chair he is very rude. His owner is so proud full and also he is thinking he is owner of whol Fremont. Please dont go Zam Zam supermarket.
You can find any any kind of ARIANA SWEETS cookies and roots I recommend you to find products of Ariana sweets
They are liers, the price they give in menu in reality all of them is different, everything is one or two $ expensive then original ones, and also there meat are not fresh its quality is very poor when they scale meat the put a lot of bones and extra stuff in itIt is ok to give expensive but there is no reason to lie in menu.and restaurant open late، when you go to restaurant sometime till 12 pm there food is not ready and many time they are out of food. There is no price tag on so in the checkout they cheat youNot a good place
This is my favorite halal market for shopping. This place deserves 5 star but I give them 4 star. The elder guy in bakery needs to work on his attitude and customer service. He’s the reason I gave this great supermarket 4 start.
Me and my friends thought we were gonna get jumped by some individuals so we all hid here at Zamzam. Very welcoming establishment.
Fresh meat and helpful staff. Id recommend those place for fresh meat in Fremont.
4 for food/meat and 0 for customer service. I ordered being over an hour in advance since they have traditionally been late and they were still 30 mins late. On top of that the attitude was well it is what it is. No apology for the delay even though I ordered well in advance. To top it all they got the order wrong and completely gave me wrong toppings. Once I pointed it out they said oh we will make sure next time. I am not going back here again. There are plenty of groceries in Fremont area that do a far superior job with their overall customer service. Very disappointed
Amazing service. Nice and clean
Worst service ever the guy kept harassing me about if I paid the money for the rice and kept asking me again and again. Made us very uncomfortable very unprofessional from him and will never come here again also some guys have noted that he doesnt even use halal meat he gets the meat from Mexican markets and says this is halal
I visited this store to buy some paneer. Unfortunately, the paneer all that they have is expired two months back. I visit here every week. I did not expect this type of defect from this store because they are such a kind hearted and helpful people. I immediately called the owner and he removed all the paneer from the refrigerator. I hope this would not happen again.
This is one of the worst markets to go to. They sell expired products and when questioned, they will mistreat their customers. Please save yourself your time and money and go elsewhere (Fremont has a variety of different options to chose from)Instance #1: They had spoiled dates that were visibly rotting. When addressed this with the cashier, he picked up the box to take it to the back. The owners wife stopped him and told him to put it back stating Boro, Khorma Kharabi na dara (Meaning, dates dont spoil).Instance #2: Bought a pack of cookies and took them home, opened them the same day and when tried one, it had a spoiled sour taste. Took it back to the store the next day and the owner himself refused to take it back and issue a refund claiming, we dont refund if you open the box. Well, how is one suppose to know if something has gone bad when they dont even put expiry dates on their products. The second instance was especially very disturbing as it happened during Ramadan. The owner was extremely rude and condescending and we left the cookies at the register without getting a refund.Instance #3: The owner was almost forcing us to buy peeled walnuts and when we refused, he rolled his eyes.PLEASE AVOID THIS PLEASE. This place is extremely unsanitary with rotten vegetables, cookies, dry fruits, and other items and they treat customers as if they are doing us a favor by letting us buy their spoiled goods. You will immediately notice upon entering the store that it is filled with flies and stains everywhere. I will never be going back here, I hope you wont either.
Very poor customer service from Owner in the Counter, Not recommended at all this place
Good place to buy halal meat, but not all can goods are Halal. However employees are not as friendly. Employees in the meat department does not wear face mask most of the time. Owner is not helpful either. They always speak in Farsi Language. Groceries and meats are little pricey/ expensive.
The worst place you could ever imagine I went to buy two Afghan Bread I give him my debit card the owner of the shop told me to give me five dollars cash or you need to spend another five dollars I told him why usually other business owners charge 50 cents or 75 cents extra and you want me to spend another five dollars that’s insane they always trying to rip off people
Hands down this place has one of the best quality needs in the Bay Area. Ive tried other Halal meet shops from San Jose all the way down to Berkeley. I keep on coming back because of their high quality meat that they offer. I would like to think the shop for being so loyal to their customers.
I got the bollani.and. lamb shank what qabuli.and.torshe. homemade it thats why she said and the cashier righteousness not tasty same as original I just throw the water and tastes like water and bologna and food.bolani.lamb shank. Made one day before or maybe koplo hour before just then making warm and give it to you which is tastes horrible the looks like horrible and bolani.. saw black and dark the proof that they made before I just warm it this is the picture of that whoever made Im Coke days they should be feel a shame this should not doing on this month like this at least because of ramazan
Every time we order, they decrease the amount of Bulani they serve. Also, they charge for chutney, while at other places you can get chutney for free. This has been going on for more than a year. They have very bad service . We have been complaining every time but they dont listen. I would never recommend anyone to go here.
Worst food - i have ordered one lamb kabob, never ate such bad taste of kabobs, i felt it was at least a month old kabobs for 12.99 Price.
Got a pack of canned beans today and arrived home to find its bottom was covered with worms. It was displayed directly in front of the meat fridge display. I stopped getting meat from there for long time due to my concerns how it displayed and packed and only buying prepackaged products. After today, i dont think Ill ever go back.
They don’t show the prices of stuff and they price gouge. One of the worst afghan market in the Bay Area.
I love coming to this store! They have the best breads and their faludeh ice-cream (sh... You need to ask them for it specifically) is to die for!
You can find any middle Eastern, Indian, Afghani & Pakistani products from there. Very friendly & helpful employees and reasonable price. 👍 Thank you مننه
Meat quality is very very very bad.I took one pound of boneless goat meat, but in that half a pound of fat.May be they will sell fat instead of bones when we ask for boneless. So be careful.
The best super market
We ordered a whole roasted lamb for our fathers funeral but he showed up late, the food was raw and after inspection it was not halal meat. Be careful with his meat, he’s buys his meat from non-halal certified company
I went in today on 9/30/20 to return an expired meat. My husband and I had no idea that it was expired until we ate a piece (it was pastirma). It expired over a month before we bought it in July 2020. I tried to return it and get my money back but the kid wearing a red t-shirt and blue mask told me to check the expiration date before you buy it and call the company. He also told me that with no receipt and opened, they cannot return it-which is understandable because its not Costco afterall. That is very wrong to say because it is the stores responsibility to provide fresh products and the customer shouldnt have to look at the expiration date-they should be able to trust the store to provide fresh products. Also if there were any defects, its the stores responsibility to contact the company not the customer. I also saw today that their meat in the freezer was all bad (brownish red and I told that to the kid, but he said hell check it out-I guess they dont check their meat daily.).Very wrong and bad attitude. My overall rating of this store is going down. Not to mention that there was a customer in the store who was not wearing a mask and no one prevented him from entering the store. I dont recommend going here unless you have to.
I guess this is the best and biggest one on south east bay. Fresh baklava is my best bet.
Please don’t buy meat from them their meat smell so bad it’s months old rotten meat. I brought meat and it smell so bad we couldn’t eat it and my house smell so bad while I was cooking it.
We bought chicken from here twice and both times the chicken has been rotten. YES, ROTTEN!. Very disgusting. We have contacted the Health Department to inform them of this store. They have started an investigation. Please dont buy meat from this store. If you do, please make sure you smell it before leaving the store.
They do price gouging and also never put price tags. The more I go there the more I hate it
Terrible.
I got meat for couple of times and the Quality of meat is not good. In addition a customer service is bad, when I say bad I was really bad specially the butchery section and the lady in the bakery/restaurant
Most of the stuff was/is expired and been seeing that for 9 months.
I mostly go here to buy meat. Meat seems to be fresh. Not a whole lot of varieties in veggies is found here. I have seen pretty good collection of teas there. Although i havent tried any of them.
Worst people and they always show Meat in showcase but we asked that old guy mixing bone and unwanted stuff in this goat Meat. Even asked give me good one but he never listen. Casher many double charged from meat pack price tag. Better to avoid and they selling so halal Meat. But they are big cheating people.
Been here a couple times. Very clean Halal Butcher Shop as well as Ethnic (Indo/Pakistani/Afghan/Arab) Grocery Store. All the meat is nicely displayed and is fresh. The Butchers are also friendly and clean. They have Halal Steak meat which is great. The prices are very reasonable as well. I also ordered some Afghan food from their kitchen area (limited seating area inside) and it was pretty good as well. Highly recommend this place.
I only go to zabiha places, so with that standard in mind, I found it great. Clean butchery, good prices, actual fresh produce, and enough variety. The lack of order of isles was my only issue
Good for organic halal meat and chicken. They also have a reasonable bakery for Afghan and midde eastern breads. Frozen halal meat products also sold here. They cater and there are a few tables to dine-in. Food is good.
Very bad customer service they are fraud that took 485 money for just one part of qurbani which have mostly fats and bone.making an order they didn’t tell me that and they buy milk from Costco and sell one gallon on price of two please all people stay away from them they are earning money by fraud
I found the price to be reasonable. They also carry Bangladeshi Fish and sweet; which I like best. Service is great
PLEASE PUT PRICE TAGS ON YOUR GROCERIES THAT ARE OUTSIDE AND INSIDE! I DONT BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICE. YOU CAN CHEAT YOUR PRICES THAT WAY.
Zamzam has excellent Halal meats, and a large assortment of spices and nuts. If youre into eating dates, they have a wonderful variety.
If you’re in a rush and need some goods for barbecue night. Grab on theirs premartinated chicken and this does the job perfectly.
Good selection of meats. The service is great.
Convenient store with Middle Eastern, indian and Pakistani grocery
This retail stores has all stale and expired food ...I baught some cookies which was already 7 days expired....
Let’s start with hygiene specially in meat area. The color of the meats were changed chicken or beaf. Produce were from weeks old. Bread was smiling something I can’t describe it. The customer service was zero I was waiting with counter and the lady was busy with TV to find her favorite songs. Spend your money on something to be worth it. Thank you
Just bought chicken from these guys and it’s disgustingly old and smells bad. Never going here again that’s for sure.
The the red meat is not fresh at all, Its very expensive and every time I buy thinking it might be fresh and I can wash to remove darkness of the meat but after many times washing its bloody some kinda dark which looks its not halal and even when cooking blood comes out of meat which makes me throwing it away....in this case i am pretty sure they dont sucrify in proper way according to Islamic rules and regulations...unless if that is halal why blood comes out of meat even after washing it many times and keeping and leaving it in water for a day or long time. The staffs are not listening to what you are asking them they are cheaters.... I remember one of the staff in butchering section offered red meat was so dark and bloody I said I dont want that give me fresh one, then he packed some meat when I opprned the package at home he has given me that bloody red meat which I already rejected to purchase:(Super bad experience I ever have from this place:(
Good naan and affordable.
Very well organized. Halal meats are nice. Food look mice but I didnt try
I cant believe this place, most of the products are expired. It is the worst place to go to and do shopping at. Please check expiration date for anything you got.
The taste of meat was not too good. I purchased the meat around evening and only a handful of pieces were left. Looks like it was the final left over meat and was a little stale. My wife almost started to hate the taste of goat after eating the meat from this store.
Good halal shop. Restaurant sells yummy Afghan food.
I like this place because they sell Mediterranean grocery such as beans, bread, fish, and way more.
Prices are different from what it says on the price tags on the shelf’s and the price they had in their systems.as i got charged higher than price mentioned on the item and when I asked the lady at counter, she act like she was not listening about my question and when I asked her for twice and she replied I don’t know. That’s completely weird!!i don’t recommend this place.
Prices are high compared to other stores nearby. Store is a mess from inside, specially butcher area. Two stars because meat was fresh and clean.
Every thing is over price, the owner is greedy and hes talking advantage of the new immigrants, he pays then way lower than the minimum wage
Good store with all required groceries and very supportive staff
Great bulaani and a good Afghan grocery store
Reason I give 4 stars because the food is cheaper and good. The owner Jamal is a great men.
Great food and excellent customer service!!
Excellent supermarket, with an impressive variety of seeds and spices, the meat halan is my favorite, with my husband we bought it there with good prices too.
Really stinky meat. The meat smells and tastes terrible. They also have poor customer service. I wouldnt go again. My friends also had the same experience.
Good produce best halal meat in bay area
Bought marinated chicken for BBQ. Taste was superb, Im going to go back more!
They sell halal product and meat so thank you. But it is small and not enough.
The quality of their meat is really good and they have a good selection of East Indian spices.
Many kind of exotic food and spices. Staff is very helpfull. You can find afgani, indian originated food.
The place serves some amazing Afghani food!
Their dining option is not so good. But good place to buy fresh meat and dry fruits.
Good customer service and quality of the stuff is good and alhumdullilah meat is halal from halal pride farms......nice store to recommend
Pretty good indian/asian store with halal meat option
It sells Turkish dessert, baklawa. You can find baklawa all the time.

Pretty good service and most decent price of halal meats i found yet
Good meat at reasonable prices
Very good quality mutton and good service
Very good market to shop from
Fresh beef and competitive price.
I would give this place zero stars if I could. Dirty, cross contamination in butcher shop (meat and chicken mixed), and rude employees. Never coming back.
Service not good, not a friendly staff, they are selling exfire item
Just make sure when you buy their products look at the expiration date
Just decent kind of store
