Service here was phenomenal! Jake was very helpful with the whole process. I came in for an oil change and alignment and they were more than happy to help. While I was there, they walked me through a few other parts that may need to be replaced soon as well as showing me everything and what to look for. They were super nice to talk to about everything. In fact, my car was done in less than an hour and I was ready to be on the road again. Car steers as straight as an arrow! Highly recommend their services! Will be returning again.

Came in to have the wheel alignment done, they had identified an issue with the front end suspension for me before it became a serious problem. They were able to get the parts same day and I couldnt be happier with the quality of work. These guys really know thier stuff, and I would recommend doing your maintenance here.

With an older BMW I have to go here more than I’d like to admit. The staff always greats you in a way that makes you feel like family. I went to this Brakes Plus on Preston because of the reasonable pricing they advertised, as well as the 4.8 rating. Have to say, I was not disappointed. Exceptional customer service, they got me in-and-out in great time, and they did a fantastic job on the wheel alignment.As they were finishing up the job I was told that my car needed to be jumped to start it back up, and that I would need a new battery. Frankly, I was highly skeptical because Ive not had any issues with the battery on my Lexus in the 3 years Ive owned it. It ALWAYS started up fine. I declined because of that skepticism, and when right across the street to Auto Zone because they test for free. Sure enough, the battery was operating at about 40%, and it would have been just a matter of a short time before I may have been left stranded.The other reason I didnt have them change the batter at Brakes Plus was because, well...I can do that myself...for free.These folks are great people, do great work, and they are not looking to make up work that you dont need.Highly recommend you use this Brakes Plus for any work you need that they can do.

Got the brakes done on a friends car here. Tom was fantastic through the whole process and evaluated the brakes well. The whole process was a breeze and the pickup/ drop was an added bonus.

I have replaced my brakes there and was recommended to replace my rotor. At checkout, I was asked if I submit a review now and get $10 off. I don’t like this.This gives false inflation in the review for this place, which I don’t think is the right thing to do.You can follow up with customers and give them incentive for next visit or something if they submit a review but some customers are actually shy and just submit the review with 5 because u r standing infront of them.Again, I have no concern on the service and will probably go to brakes plus again but not this branch....not sure if all branches do the same thing, but will see.

I took my car in for an alignment last week, once I picked it up and started driving my steering wheel immediately started shaking again. I was going to go back but was already late for another appointment. I took my car to another shop where they stated and proved that my car was never previously aligned at brakes plus. This is so unprofessional, I dont know why you would not work on my car and still charge me for a service that was not performed. It is already hard enough being a female and trying not to get scammed by mechanics. I went to brakes plus because it is a chain and they had decent reviews. They offered to change out my straps for a ridiculous price, I politely declined and asked my dad about it which he stated we had just recently changed them when my car hit 50kmiles. I am so upset of the event occurred and I really hope this never happens to another female customer again. Also very disappointed that all customers are required to wear masks but the employees werent, at least the employees inside working the register should be wearing a mask.

Thanks, Scott!This is my first negative review ever. I have come to this business for auto maintenance for years because they were great. This time I brought my vehicle (which had nothing wrong at the time) in for a timing belt and water pump replacement. After getting the car back, the AC wasnt working. When I took it back, the guy at the service desk confirmed that the AC system was evacuated then recharged as part of the timing belt change and theyd call me back. I was contacted a few hours later and was told that the AC system was actually NOT evacuated then recharged and that i would have to pay for them to diagnose it. I said that dont you normally disassemble part of the AC manifold as part of the timing belt change procedure? The service guy indicated that the mechanic was very good and didnt need to do that. I then asked is it possible that the system could be damaged somehow because they did not disassemble the manifold when performing the maintenance. I was told thats not possible. In the end I had to pay an extra $300 because the high pressure line had a leak and had to be replaced (along with the freon recharge). Unfortunately, I dont think Ill be returning to this place.

Pulled into their shop 20 minutes after closing on a Saturday due to car trouble. Carlos and Ricky were very nice and helpful, ran the codes on my car immediately and checked it into the shop for repair on Monday. They even provided a courtesy shuttle to get me home that day. They went above and beyond and Im very thankful for their help. Ive had my brakes and inspection done at this shop and I highly recommend them!

Brakes Plus was a pleasant surprise compared to most auto shops I’ve been at. In fact, it was a pleasant surprise in comparison to any business as well. Immediately upon entering I was greeted and welcomed. Ray was very nice to talk to and even offered a shuttle service to take me home while I waited on my car. This was especially convenient seeing I came in on a busy Saturday. But it only took a couple hours and I was promptly called to come pick up my vehicle. They didn’t try to up sell me on anything which is always appreciated. I will for sure be visiting again.Big bonus points for general kindness. You don’t get that often these days as people are usually in such a rush to take your money and get you out the door, but I will say Ray and the staff were great and even though it was my first time there, they made me feel like a regular.

The guys there were very helpful, Carlos didn’t try to up-sell me like other places do. There’s a leak in my car that I recently got fixed somewhere else after he saw that on car fax, he suggested I reach out to them to check on the warranty rather than automatically giving me prices for replacement here. Very helpful!

A great experience over all. Very clean and sanitized waiting area. The staff was very friendly and helpful explaining the differences in all the choices for an oil change. You can tell they care about their customer, as I was waiting they were wiping down the door and disinfecting areas people have touched.

He and I had great conversation and he made the time pass quickly while I was awaiting my new set of breaks. Was I pleased with the warm welcome? Absolutely. Was I impressed with the great management/ leadership of the shop? Absolutely. Will I come back again with any other issue in the future? Absolutely.
