I chose not to buy my car from this dealership but once they moved closer to my house I decided to try their service department for convenience. Big mistake. I took my car for service in June. It was a standard service that normally should only take a few hours but took 4 days. There was zero communication and at one point, I called and they told me they didn’t even have my car, which put me into a panic. I kept checking my Volvo On Call app and saw no movement. I dropped off my car and they parked it and let it sit for days. I was lucky to get a loaner but they were sure to tell me to make sure that I park their loaner in my garage while we endured terrible storms during those 4 days while my car sat outside on their lot. They didn’t even lock my car, which thankfully for my Volvo On Call app, I was able to lock the car remotely.Called today to try to get an appointment for a safety issue with my car and they told me they have no loaners available and can’t get me in until next week but that I’d have to leave it for at least a day and a half. I live less than 2mi away and they told me I couldn’t even get a shuttle ride home and since it’s a long wait, I can’t stay and wait for it, even though they really just need to hook it up to the computer to diagnose it. They weren’t willing to work with me or help me at all. It was basically, “oh well”.I called the dealership (Grubbs) where I purchased my car and they were incredibly helpful— offered to drive me the 20mi home, loaners available sooner than next year, even offered a valet service to pickup my car from my house. I ended up working it out with them for me to drop off the car on my way to work and that they’ll drive me to work. This is the kind of service you expect when buying a luxury vehicle.I own two cars and honestly, I get more from the Honda dealership next door than I do from Crest Volvo. Save yourself the headache and skip Crest.
Service was so bad..... I went back 5 times for the same problem, finally they told me their diagnosis sensor was broken so they were not able to reset the tire sensor. They sent me to Doscount Tires. They replaced the wrong 1. There were 2 that needed replacing. Crest Volvo authorized me to have Discount Tires replace the 2 bad sensors and they would pay for them. Ive called them over 20X and they still have not reimbursed me. This has been going on since April 2021. After I traveled from Ft. Worth 5 times only to find out they werent equipped to do the work. I bought the SUV for my son and when we picked it up, the light was on. They assured me it was from the cold weather. It wasnt. They reset it, which didnt work twice. I expect a dealership like this to be honest, reliable and reputable. I will not do business with this Crest dealership.
Paying premium as a care by volvo subscriber, i was expecting better service. First off, the agent who checked me in grossly underestimated the expected time. Secondly they did not know about the subscriptions service a d took a long time to figure out my coverage. Thirdly no wash after all this wait. I will probably travel farther for a better experience in the future, or just exit the subscription.
I had my car serviced and the service managers were prompt and ready to assist when I arrived. The two star rating is due to $80 in cash taken out of my center console. I understand leaving valuables in your car leaves you vulnerable to theft, but I would expect professionalism and better judgement of character.
