Ive gone here many times and each time I find something new I like. The baked goods and drinks are delicious. I brought my niece (age:9) here from PA and she absolutely loves it, too. There isnt anything like this around where she lives so Im glad she got to experience it. I will definitely be coming back regularly. I always get great service each time, too.

07/09/21: I stopped by 85C to see what they had available today. It’s probably a little bit of nostalgia, but I really like their pork sung bun. There was none in stock when I checked. For some reason, the air conditioning was not really working and the store was warm like +80F. I didn’t see the pork sung buns, saw the line, and felt hot with lack of AC, so I decided to leave.I’ve been to spot multiple times and I typically enjoy the breads, pastries, buns, etc. that I get here.

Summary: Impressive array of beautiful and delicious products.Individually wrapped pastries, from vegan to meat loving.Fun to choose, beautiful when you first come in.Price is accessible.Staff is courteous, friendly and competent.Great array of beverages, cold and hot.Everything tasted great & fresh!

Nice place to grab snack sized bites. Most of the ones are pretty good. Just hope they would turn to using lesser plastic for packing. And a bit more filling for the savouries.

85C is one of the best bakeries in the area.It offers so many options I feel Ill keep coming back many times in the future.

Two words best fit my experience at 85C Bakery. Those two words would be simply wonderful. 85C was like walking through Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory, however instead of Candy, it was breads and deserts. Everyone was extremely nice and the variety and options seemed endless. I definitely recommend 85C Bakery.

Many varieties of breads and desserts. Me and my kids loved everything we bought. The only point to note - they dont have inside seating due to covid restrictions. Its rather hot to sit outside in Frisco to enjoy the food.

I consider myself a regular at this place. Quality is still fine but lately, the bakery selection has been disappointing. I am wondering if they are short-staffed or try to limit the selections. There were barely any left to pick from the shelves! It was a Saturday afternoon.

Nice food and friendly staff. I love that they have variety of choices, the style of products are very similar to the Japanese bakery, which it’s is not so many places can do it. They also offer seating area for customer to enjoy the food. The only thing that is missing is they don’t have a microwave to heat up the bread for customer who wants to eat here, that would be perfect if they do.

Great selection! Love the choco cookie bun, blueberry cheesecake, hazelnut muffin, and most of the cakes!Not open Monday, always sad when I drive by on a Monday because I cant pick something up!

We attempted to visit this store. And they were closed early, employees inside. Product on the shelf. We were prepared to buy baked goods and they waved us away. We initially arrived at 8:50, decided to go back and take a picture of the time and the hours on the door.

Love the coconut raisin tarts! First time here since the early 2020 lockdown and was glad they’re wrapping breads and baked goods in plastic wrappers. I will be back again soon!

Just walking in here, the scent was heavenly. Their selection is enormous, and we enjoyed almost everything we got from here, the only exception being the savory breads. They were incredibly soggy and there was an off-putting sweet flavor to them.

I love breads and sweets so much so i may be biased but this is my favorite local bakery, they have really cool flavors and theyre not overly sweet as American desserts tend to be. Totally recommend the matcha bun and tiramisu cake

I got here right at closing. I was walking to the door when they locked it....no worries.... Sat in my car to find another place to go and the guy lets a couple in after hours and immediately locks the door after. They came out with bags full and a whole cake. Couldnt even get a slice.

This place makes dangerously good filled pastries, cakes, and drinks. Everything is made fresh throughout the day. Top notch service, organization, and cleanliness.

Everything very pretty, nice people working there, but the pastries have no taste whatsoever. As a professional baker, I can assure you that the amount of chemicals used must shocking. Not many natural ingredients there.

I absolutely LOVE this place! My favorite things to get are egg tarts and Milk buns because they are soooo good! For the first time I tried a Boba milk tea which is wonderful, I will definitely be getting it again, I love it so much!

I think this is one of my favorite places in town.The house has a simple self-service system, the only problem is that its kind impossible to say which bread, pastry or cake is the best one!!!

Excellent, i am a son of european style bakers and this place has a great balance among asian, american and European styles. Probably the best quick bakery in the area. Extra points for the friendy staff.

I always love this bakery shop.. has wide variety of boba drinks too. But somehow the service in this location is much slower than other Richardson, Carrolton and Plano

Parties are always good but bible teas are not that much good! Pasties are delicious and not too much sugary. I got zebra iced tea with boba and it had NO flavor at all! Plus they added too much ice in it so it was over after 2-3 sips ! Very disappointed with boba tea but good baker !

Definitely not the best location I have been to. Each time I go there is always an issue, the two ladies in the back are not welcoming at all and are rude. They mocked me when I told them my drink was not made right. On top of it, the pastry was completely raw. Was like eating powdery dough.

Love this place. Bakery treats and drinks are so goos. It gets picked over quickly and with their reduced hours it makes it more difficult to get everything I want when I visit. Thats ok since quality is always the same no matter what the circumstances.

First thing is the food safety issue.These pics are what I found in this store. A big fly is on bread and no employees here noticed. I saw some customers are trying to grab that bread and I stopped them. That is sooo ridiculous!!!Secondly, the attitude of cashier.One of cashier who is a guy is always indifferent. He seems doesn’t care about his job. He never showed his passion to customers, like never say thank you, good bye. My personal experience: I was waiting for the cashier for five mins on check out table and he had five to six customers wait there though he already saw us.Apparently I will turn to SweetHut for my breakfast, though it takes more driving. I hope the owner of this place can see my post and pay more attention on its food safety issue!

Food is delicious, but a little bit oily for my taste. The interior is nice. I think the best time to go is in the early morning when everything just came out of the oven. They open really early like 7am. If I want to have a different breakfast than usual, I can just go and pick up some items quickly.

They had a great selection of deserts and the staff was incredibly friendly.

Now if you are a fat kid in the inside that loves sweets or just food, do not go here. You will never leave the store. Perfect place to go in the morning, shoot every morning on your way to work to not only pick up on your favorite sweet treat but also a breakfast favorite. Prices are the best, you can pick up for your whole office without braking your bank.

I love coming here on my days off in order to grab a tasty treat for my self and my sister. And as a bonus their drinks are delicious as well. Superb.

Lots of nice stuff here. Reminds me of the time I had spent in living in South East Asia, where these sort of places are very common.The breads, and all the baked items are really good. The pastries are great. The sugar in the pastries is just right, and the texture is so good that it literally melts in your mouth. I go here regularly for the pastries.What I would want the folks here to improve is the cleanliness. Its not bad. Agreed that there is a rush most of the times, but you can see tables with left over bits of food remaining unattended. Probably a but shorthanded on staff.Overall, great place.

I had chocolate chip bread and it was phenomenal! It was huge (6 inches across or so) and so puffy. The prices are awesome too. The people are nice. I will definitely be back :)

This bakery is my favorite place to grab a quick coffee or bubble tea and pastry in the afternoon. I also usually end up picking up the milk toast and an assortment of other things for throughout the week. I have not bought a full sized cake yet but I will be ordering one for the holidays as I think itll be a hit with the family!

Favorite bakery in the area. Never had anything that didn’t taste fresh. The taro bread is a MUST, it is absolutely delicious and soft. I buy a loaf every time I am nearby!

Solid location next to 99 Ranch though a little smaller than others. Service is relatively quick and havent had any issues here. Can still expect the same quality baked goods here af other locations.

Everything is delicious however theres one employee that yells at everyone. It makes going there unpleasant.

Everything that Ive tried from this bakery has been yummy. Nothing is too sweet and youre not left with that post-sugar self hatred feeling. Everything is very reasonably priced and theres a wide selection of desserts for choose from. Check this place out!

I was really excited for this place when my coworkers told me about the grand opening. I ordered their food first, and there was no trouble there. But once I started asking questions about the menu, the person seemed frustrated and kind of pointed just pointed towards the bread. My coworkers ordered the chocolate mouse cake and chocolate hazelnut cake and they were both very dry. The coffee was actually pretty good.

Ive been going to 85 degree bakeries for over a decade now. This one is new and its the first location Ive seen in Texas. They got all the usual breads with my favorite being a warm taro bread. You can tell its not crowded yet but will become crowded very soon. I recommend coming here if you need a coffee as their sea salt coffee is awesome and I really like getting it. Overall I will be back. Their service was great and quick to get out my drink.

Love the egg buns!! Really all the baked goods are light and tasty but try the egg buns..So good.

Beautiful collection of delicious Asian pastries and breads that are not too overly sweet. Desserts here are very light and have a sponge-cake texture. My favorite is the Mango Creme Brulee Cake. I always also get an unsweetened mountain green tea...absolutely delicious. I highly recommend for everyone.

I used to enjoy going to 85 very much to get bread. Their desserts are all very well decorated, and their sea salt coffee is great. However, their buns are smaller and more pricey than other places.

Love love their desserts. I made a day of it by eating dessert here for lunch and heading over to Daiso to buy some interesting goodies. A lovely place with a wide selection of goodies.

I love the bakery in general. This one in Frisco is a bit small, nowhere really to sit. It wasnt packed nor super busy but they did take a while making my coffee, and since they realized they got my coffee wrong a new one was made and that took another while. I know this location is new so hopefully itll pick up soon. Other than that the coffee was great and so were the pastries.

Really nice pastries and the sea salt teas. But could be more clear on item description or main ingredients. Some had alcahol and some items had meats but had to ask staff what kind of meats are in the items.

Love the pastries and puffs and bun. So much variety so many flavors. Some of those unique flavors like tarro - yummy...love the frisco, its just little smaller and runs out of some variety quickly, cant complain is so good....

The Frisco location of 85C Bakery Cafe is a bit smaller than those in Plano and Houston, so the pastry selection area was somewhat crowded. For the same type of pastry, I also noticed that the size is smaller. Taste-wise, the ones I purchased, I felt that the flavors were a bit off from what I could remember from the 85C Bakery Cafe at other locations. Regardless, the flavors werent too bad. I used to think they had good flavors and value but now I would rather make more comparisons with more bakeries in that neighborhood.

The food looks great but the taste does not match the looks so it can be a bit disappointing. Overall nice food and coffee but it’s unfortunate the savory food is served cold. They should offer the possibility to heat it up. Some of the savory things might taste better warm.

I loved this bakery. My kids go Gaga over this place every time they hear the name. Great treats, nice coffee and rare desserts for the taking .

I hate to write negative reviews and I usually don’t when I just decide to never return to a place, but I go to this store’s locations in Carrollton and in Richardson. I recently moved to the area and decided to come here instead. It’s 9:21 and google maps closing hours is 10:00pm for this store. The Manager or whoever that staff member was WAS EXTREMELY RUDE! Basically told me we are closed and when I told her, google maps says you close at 10, she rudely responds saying ‘we got nothing to do with google maps’. WELL DAH! That’s how people find you! And if you don’t fix your hours, then you waste our time trying to find out if you’re or not. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER FOR REAL! No wonder your reviews are the worst compared to the other locations.

Smaller place.

Best sweet bread for me.

Many times, depending who makes it, the coffee is too blend. It tastes like just water and cream. I used to come very often, but no longer. I got bad coffee too often. And they got mad if I complain about it. Ruin my morning. Forget about it.

I came today 10/5 for the grand opening. Loved my Sea Salt Coffee and all my sweet delicious breads. I will absolutely be back over and over again. The staff is friendly and fast as they can be.

Only go for a couple of type of buns I like. Most everything is overpriced. A muffin is $2.60.

Visited on their on Soft opening day 10/01/2018 on national coffee day, amazing bakery with just about dessert you imagine. Tried their well known Sea Salt coffee, its a must! Will be back :) . Grand opening is on 10/05/2018!! Come on by for everyone visiting when its closed

Delicious breads that can make you gain weight just looking at them lol. My favorites are the cheese danish, egg tart, and berry tart. Their coffees are also very nice.
