Summer Moon has some of the BEST coffee I have EVER had at any coffee shop. Bold statement? Absolutely. Am I bluffing? Not in the slightest. Summer Moon slings the real deal coffee, especially when we’re talking about moon milk being involved.What I love about Summer Moon so much is how unique they are. Their name, Summer Moon, comes in part due to the type of creamer/ sweetener they use for their coffee, which is called Moon Milk. Moon Milk is a house made special sweet milk that apparently has 7 secret ingredients. I want this secret recipe more than the Krabby Patty formula..I swear that moon milk is actually crack because it’s so addicting, but all I can say is that when it’s added to coffee it makes for the most delicious and unreal drink compared to any other one I’ve tried. They do give you the option of how much moon milk you’d like as well- a quarter moon for those who like it less sweet, to half moon to 3/4 moon for the sweetest. And don’t even get me started on the frappes.Some of my family lives in Frisco, and every time we go we strongly request to visit Summer Moon. It’s not an ‘if’ but ‘when’ are we going. In my most recent trip to TX, we were there for 4 days. Guess how many times we had Summer Moon… yep, that’s right- 4 times— Every single day. This place really is that good, and it’s also very worth ordering online ahead of time because I am far from the only one hooked on moon milk. Now excuse me while I try to figure out how to get my hands on that secret formula…

Super cute, small coffee shop. The decor is eclectic and vintage and the staff is friendly. There are tables inside, although it has usually been crowded when I have gone so its not super comfortable, especially because its such a small place. There is also some seating outside around back if you want to linger there longer. The coffee is good, with a variety in strengths. They also sell their own coffee beans for you to take and make at home and will grind the beans for you if you ask. Cute spot.

Amazing wood-fired coffee with a sweet and creamy moon milk used to enrich their drinks! Honestly tastes like melted vanilla ice cream and I love it- compliments the warm, natural taste of the wood-fired coffee.

Nice place to grab a coffee. They have one of the best drip coffee in the area. If you’re looking to buy coffee beans I highly recommend their “Swinging Lantern” blend! The seating fills up fast so it can be hard to find a seat at times. The atmosphere is great for those wanting to get in the zone and knock out some work. If you’re wanting to meet a friend here I highly recommend the outside seating area.

I have tried so many local coffee shops to buy whole beans for my espresso machine. The is my ultimate place, from the first shot you will notice how fresh the beans are. They have a wide collection of organic beans for your desired taste.

Best coffee I ever had. The first time I had summer moon coffee was in Austin and instantly fell in love with it. I am so happy they are in frisco now. This is a must try. Any coffee with moon milk is to die for.

The drinks here are great but the wait can be outrageous. The past two times I’ve tried coming here it was a 40+ minute wait for drinks. There are plenty of great coffee places in Frisco that prioritize their in store orders where you can get drinks a lot quicker that 40 minutes. Hope they can figure out a solution to this since I miss the moon milk!!

Wood fired coffee? Who knew? Amazing! When I go up to my office in Frisco there is only one place I go for coffee. Excited to hear that they are coming into Downtown Dallas and much closer to my home!!

Beautiful little coffee shop, and old Town Frisco. The barista today was very explanatory after I said it was my first time there. I got the autumn moon special. It was very tasty and hit the spot on this autumn day. parking could be a challenge some days but I did not have a problem. Sat outside and worked for a couple of hours, use their Wi-Fi and it was great. Cant wait to go back!

Cute coffee shop, about the same price as Starbucks but without the corporate overhang. Lots of fun drinks and snacks to choose from with gluten free and non dairy options available. I wish I would have chosen a different drink, but everyone else I was with loved theirs. To be fair, I liked mine, I just got sick of it really quickly and ordered too large of a size. Last note - there is cornhole on the back patio which is pretty sweet.

One of the best coffee shops in Frisco. Their coffee has been consistently delicious. The sweetness levels of the Lattes are fixed to your taste. I tried moontado which is close to cortado and blueberry lemon bread. I liked them both. Due to covid they are trying to protect everyone with some restrictions yet I don’t think it’s enough. The place was packed and baristas are overwhelmed with the service. There wasn’t anyone cleaning/sanitizing the place between guests. If you are not afraid of covid it is the place for a good coffee.

Amazing place, Amazing people working there, great products! It was our first time trying their coffee here at Frisco. The place is pretty small, really cozy though. Its like a place that you would go to for your first couple of dates or just one on one hangouts in general. Their coffee is good, the only thing is (which is also a personal preference), their moon milk is really sweet. We got a half moon with an extra shot if espresso and change our skim milk half to an out milk and that helps a lot. Still sweet. But nevertheless, shout out to their services! They gave us a shot if espresso for free because it was too sweet for us initially. Definitely recommended if youre around Frisco area!

This coffee shop appeased me greatly. Resided here for 5 hours. The summer beverages were immaculate. But they lacked seating due to the immense population density. And the lavatory facilities were within close ranger for those ice coffee drinkers. Overall my experience was quite pleasurable.

This is my new favorite coffee! From the first sip I was hooked! I also appreciate that they use all natural ingredients in their moon milk (nothing nasty like carrageenan like the big chain uses), the option to make it dairy free, and the good selection of tasty gluten free treats.

I had a hot chocolate, my mom had 1/2 moon and my sister had a 3/4 moon. They were all good. Loved the hot chocolate. The order taker was extremely nice. It was my first time there and he was very helpful with what to order.

Went at 2pm on a Friday and it was still packed. If youre looking for a nice place to read, this is not it. Very noisy and tables are super close together. I ordered the iced matcha moon. It was just okay.

Worst experience at a coffee shop ever. On a Sunday morning at 9:40am, we did a mobile order for two drinks and a kolache. We waited for the drinks for 30 minutes and the kolache for nearly an hour. While it was busy, no manager stepped in to make it right and organize the chaos.It is sad because our first experience was great, but this is simply unacceptable, even during a busy day.It will be difficult for us to return in the future.

Recently visited this place, if you like local coffee shops visit this in Main Street frisco. Try blue moon hot coffee. It’s the best i had recently.

I don’t know what’s in moon milk but taste so good. I don’t like my coffee sweet so I order double shot 1/4 moon and their almond croissant yum.

Wood roasted coffee - this place is incredible and so unique! We tried their Blue Moon (their take on a lavender latte) and their moonchino (a bold and clearly wood-fire roast - when ordered as-is, we found it to be a tad on the sweet side but still incredible!) Id go back for either of these drinks any day. This is a coffee flavor experience that Ill remember for a while, the only other coffee shop I can say that about is a place in New York City. Im sad I dont live close by to make this my coffee spot.

I only have 2 days in Texas and didn’t really know what to do. Just came from the video game museum and feeling sleepy. This place had a high review so I decided to get a cup of Joe here. WORTH IT. Place was nice and warm, I think it’s where locals go. I ordered 1/2 moon which is a little bit of espresso, skim milk and 1/2 moon milk: a blend of seven secret ingredients, rich, sweet, creamy goodness... My brother didn’t want to order anything.. We both tasted it. My brother is ordering one for himself right now. Wow, this tastes really good! Didn’t have to put anything in it. That special moon milk is 👌

The hot chocolates were just so amazingly delectable🤌🤌 highly recommend! Very nice ambience.

Wood fire beans are delicious. It pratically takes all the bitterness out of it. Many of the drinks were very tasty. The pink pear, expresso milk shake and the honey moon (hot) were amazing. Staff was friendly too.

Locally owned and operated coffee shop in downtown Frisco. This coffee shop specializes in lattes with their home made moon milk. The line to get in the shop on a Saturday morning was down the street. Summer Moon also offers fresh made muffins and other small breakfast items.

Amazing coffee place. Definately not the best if you want a quick cup though. You can order online though. Their moon milk is unique and delicious. I had a half moon and it was fantastic. I will try the full moon next time. Definately strong coffee. Their almond croissant is pretty good as well! I would definately return.

Coffee is the best around. Downside is that theres always a line. You can order ahead, though, to avoid that.

Absolutely delicious coffee! I understand why they’re so crowded. It was quite the wait once we ordered, but totally worth it. Every single employee was busting their butt and getting orders out as fast as they could. This place blows the chain with the mermaid out of the water!

Holy moley! This is def the hot spot of the town, it was my first time here ( i bought one of their really cute novelty stickers for my thermos ! ) there was a huggeee line out the back door which is the normal way to go in through the back garden. The honey lavender oat milk latte is sooooo good i was buzzed they also have this cute theme of how much cream they do calling low cream like a half moon or lots of cream a full moon ya know just a really cool warm touch to the busniess. We didnt stay too long because it was packed and just getting even more crazy... oh oh oh !! Before i forget THEY HAD VEGAN BLUE BERRY MUFFINS !! .. buutt... they microwaved them :/ meh.

Friendly and welcoming staff. The building is small so there may not be a place to sit but they have seating insideand building and outside too. They also roast their own coffee beans that you can buy there and also get the coffee that they roast in your latte. The Moon latte was AMAZING!! (I hope that was the correct name) I got a 12 oz. with 2 shots and it was still sweet. The latte was SO smooth and went great with their espresso. I love the set up they have too.

Summer Moon is originally from Austin and has delicious specialty coffee. Not a fan of their drip coffee which is sad because thats one of the things theyre known for. Theyre drinks are very sweet so Id suggest going for a half of what ever youre getting, unless you enjoy the taste of a little coffee with your cup sugar. They are always packed and youll be lucky to find a seat. Although they have a few tables for outdoor sitting which is pleasant when the weather is good. They have an awning covering above their outdoor sitting in case youd like to sit in the rain if thats what floats you canoe. Something I really like is the fact that its in the heart of downtown Frisco. The interior is a very contemporary yet hipster rustic look. Its actually very relaxing. If youre in the area you should try it out.

I ordered an Americano drip with half decaf & black and wow was that a hot temperatured liquid!I lightly scalded my upper palate and lip.The plastic cups lid indented in a dark color...with the very hot liquid warningI would recommend serving it at a reasonable temperature.

Place was silly packed 2 weekend mornings ago when we visited. Tried this for the first time in Austin weekend before and enjoyed it so thought we would stop by in Frisco. Walked out because lines were too long, good problem to have unless people arent willing to wait 45 minutes for coffee. Maybe next time.

Hands down the BEST coffee I have ever had. The half moon is my jam!I can get pretty packed in there especially now that its summer so it isnt super ideal for working just because you definitely arent guaranteed a spot, but I still go there to work anyway because the atmosphere is refreshing. Haha!The staff is also super lovely & all seem to enjoy working there!

Everytime I have visited I have enjoyed both the atmosphere as well as the coffee and pastries! I have to be gluten free so I really appreciate the selection of gluten free pastries!

This place is *chef’s kiss* The moon milk addiction IS REAL! It’s a bit pricey.. yes.. but SO worth it!! It’s not like I’m here daily, so I don’t mind it at all. Be warned that they stay packed. You’re better off ordering ahead on their website. Everyone needs to try this place!
