I remember when you could go into A place of business and actually get decent service. Yesterday, my wife and I went into kolache factory in Frisco. The female employee was busy playing on her phone in the mail employee seems like the last thing he wanted to do was be working there. I suppose the food was OK. Definitely not great. Either way, the we could care less attitude was enough to make me not want to go back. Hopefully I just went on an off day and this is not typical. I had remembered passing by this location a good while back and had wanted to try it. Good luck if you decide to go there. Just don’t expect to be greeted in a kind way and certainly don’t interrupt anyone working there while they’re on their cell phones!

Food was good. The enchilada kolache was spicier than expected. Fast line too.

Creative Kolaches with meat, cheese and/or eggs. Unfortunately they didnt have the basic (pig in the blanket) kolachhes. Ill come back.

I’ve passed by this place often and finally decided to stop by and it was certainly the right choice. So many options, I tried the cream spinach and sausage and gravy. The cream spinach was soooooo good.

We are normally big fans of KF and have been patronizing a couple of locations in the D/FW area for years, and have always been happy customers. However we had occasion to place an on-line order from the Frisco location today, which was our first time visiting that location. The order was for 12 savory kolaches (a variety of different ones), which was ready when we arrived to pick them up at the specified time. However, when we took them to our destination and opened the box we found that even though the receipt listed the correct order of 12 kolaches, the box contained only 10 of them, which matched the 10 identifying abbreviations that were written on the inside of the lid. Also, most of them were supposed to contain cheese, and while they might have contained some tiny amount it was not enough to be detectable in any of them. The one in the 3rd photo is the Philly Cheesesteak. Plenty of meat, but no visible cheese. This was the case for all of them.We will almost certainly continue to be customers because weve never had an unsatisfactory experience at any of the other locations weve visited. But this one was very disappointing, especially given that the store was not busy at all (we were the only ones there at the time).

Think of it as hot pockets! They are warmed up after you purchase. So far I recommend the pizza and egg, bacon and cheese kolache. Truly amazing!

This is a really different place that offers small little buns full of both savory and sweet stuffing. I’ve had both savory and sweet ones. I had a Philly cheese one which was very good. I also had several of the savory ones which are very good, they are mostly stuffed signalmen sort of cream cheese and fruit. They are baked right there and warmed when ordered.The only one I have tried That I didn’t care for was one that was called “sausage and cheese”, it was more like a hot dog stuffed in the little bun. Otherwise this is a great place for a small snack or treat.

Really great food! Missed this place terribly when living out of state for three years. So glad to be back in Texas and able to buy dozens of these goodies. They make perfect breakfasts when frozen and heated up. I go to the store in Frisco and the service is great. Truly great - they make sure everything is double and triple checked before sending it out the door and if you call or order ahead of time - it is always ready when they say it is. Absolutely love this place!

Some of the best I’ve had in a while

Among their vast selection, I decided to try 3 of their kolaches: Chicken enchilada, ham and swiss, and creamed spinach. Each one of an adequate proportion, made with fresh ingredients and rich in flavor. Such a shame they were out of the jalapeno popper. Dont worry though, Ill be back to taste that and others. 😋

Visiting from out of town and was sent to try Kolache Factory before I head home TOTALLY worth the trip! So far Ive tried the sausage and gravy and am dying to dig into the rest. I may have purchased 5 or 6 of the different options just so I could try them all. 🤷🏼‍♀️ If the rest are anything like the sausage and gravy Kolache, Im in for a big treat!! The filling was rich and flavorful, the roll was soft, a tad doughy and slightly sweet... Basically a knock out combination!! 😍😍😍

Revising original - post of “yum” because of the ongoing unresolved poor customer service issue I experienced today. I did an online order yesterday and I made a mistake - I used my company credit card (it was stored). I went in this morning at 6am to pick up the $8.70 order (it was ready and correct) and explained to Gloria that I needed to change the payment method. She said she could not do this because it was a mumbled company lingo type order. Apparently, Kolache Factory uses a third party company to process online transactions and they were closed. I find this odd as I would require any vendor I pay to be able to provide support when my business is open and would possibly need support.Gloria said she would call me back after they open and take of this.She didn’t.I called her at approximately 9:15. She said she hadn’t heard from anyone and would call be back in 20 to 30 minutes.She didn’t.I gave up working locally and googled Kolache Factory CEO and found his name and used the company directory option and called the toll free number provided on their website.I left a detailed voicemail on my plight.After one hour the owner of the franchised location called me and said NO PROBLEM- I can do this for you.Yahoo.I just got the credit !!!Thank you.

Really cool take on kolaches! Ive always preferred the meat/meal kind, and here that is what they do! Lots of delicious creations to enjoy.If you like pepperoni the pizza one is like a pepperoni explosion. Also keep in mind most that are marked as spicy are definitely spicy.

The food is good but when I went in on Friday they messed up my orders. 3 out of 6 of my kolaches were the wrong ones. Sadly they had ham in them and I don’t eat ham. So they went in the garbage. :( I’m guessing the labels were wrong or something.

Pulled over in Koloche’s parking to meet someone. Was waiting outside and Alex stepped outside to offer us water and a sample. Was completely blown away by the taste of the Koloche, that my boyfriend and I went inside to order more. Was even more happy with the hospitality and kindness from Alex! Will definitely be regulars now. Proud to say this is my first review ever submitted due to amazing service! You guys rock!

Tried this place for the first time and it was just OK. I bought the egg and cheese rolls but I didnt taste or see any cheese and they were drier than expected. I also didnt like the peach dessert. I do like the bbq brisket and Italian chicken.

We ordered online for the next morning and they had it ready in time. We had the Italian chicken, jalapeño cheese, spinach and Philly steak. Everything was labeled right and clear. My coworkers loved everything! The customer service was great. The guys were fast and friendly.

Bland kolaches. Sausage roll is 98% bread. Ordered one sm. sausage roll, w/o cheese. Guy says we have a BOGO. I know these type smaller businesses do not have BOGOS. After questioning the BOGO, cashier states we have a BOGO just FOR YOU. Strange... Turns out, receipt shows I was charged for the Big sausage roll at twice the price, sold 2 sm rolls as a FAKE BOGO when I only ordered ONE. Nothing worse than a liar and thief.

The Kolache Factory is fresh, inexpensive and delicious food with an above than average friendly folks.. I hope they are paid thier worth 🤗

Love the Ranchero and bbq brisket! The bread here is amazing as well! Definitely better quality than donut shops.

Prices are decent, but what makes this spot special is that have a large variety of kolaches and klobasniks (sausage/meat ones). The are generally specials they offer and they usually try to offer new things. The pastries are very soft and I do like them a lot.

I love ghis place. Its got the best buns ever. The chicken enchiladas kaloche is just soo yumm. Its is a very reasonable priced place. Just want to go here every day nd again nd again nd i never get tired.....

Love this place. Have traditional kolaches with fruit fillings, and also egg and savory ones. I recommend the ham, egg, and cheese ones. Croissants are yummy, too.

Juan that works the front counter went above and beyond on Monday 8/20/18. My son was in full meltdown mode when we stopped in for breakfast before his first day of school as a new student at Spears Elementary. Juan encouraged him to be brave for his first day and offered to become his first friend in Frisco. Juans compassion and big heart changed the momentum of our day. He was laughing and smiling by the time we left and walked into school without incident. I am so grateful! Give this kid a raise!

Look. I don’t care what they say, these are not kolaches. They taste like the BEST dinner rolls you’ve ever had - stuffed. And I honestly don’t care what they’re called because they are DELICIOUS. My top three are Sausage Gravy (like a dinner roll stuffed with the most flavorful country sausage gravy ever), Rancheros (spicy egg scramble), and Jalapeño Popper(cream cheesy with bacon and obvi jalapeños!).My boyfriend and I try to get them once a month as a treat for Saturday mornings. Four stars because I wish they had iced coffee like the Plano/Coit Rd. location. Coffee is still good, just not iced as far as I know.

We tried 3 different types of savory kolache, the potato and cheese, the sausage and egg and ham and egg. The potato and cheese had a bunch of tomatoes and other stuff in there I was not prepared for, more like a burrito, I didnt enjoy that at all. The ham and cheese and sausage and cheese are pretty basic. The shining star here was the cream cheese and chocolate kolache! Very busy in the morning, dont expect to be able to sit down. Take it to go.

Ive never had a Kolache before, so this was something I didnt expect. The sweet and fluffy bread was excellent and made everything so joyful.Service and kolaches were very good. Cant wait to have more.

Wont go back to this location. My family and I enjoy the Kolache factory but this location has no seating and ran completely out of coffee... I dont mean ran out of a flavor but all canisters were empty. how do you run out of coffee? When I told the staff they looked at me like I was speaking Russian. I had to wait 15 mins before I could get a cup.

I would much rather prefer kolaches to donuts but this place just wasnt my favorite. The ratio of bread to filling/sausage is WAY off - entirely too much bread. I feel like for the price there would be a little more substance. There is a wide variety of options, however, so I will give them that plus.

I just love these chicken enchilada and Italian chicken kolache. They cook everyday freshly. These people are so nice. I mean it. The guy gave extra kolache, since they are cooking in kitchen. Another time, at time of closing also, they don’t have enchalada chicken, he gave me free italian chicken. This is my first time to review a restaurent. They are so nice people and with good hospitality.

They send out specials, for instance super bowl Sunday 3 free kolaches, however when you get there they say it was a mistake. I assume to get you in the door? . Food is decent but there are great mom and pop kolache places in Frisco that don’t conduct business this way.
