There has not been good communication with staff and with us as customers. We went to pick up a couple of weeks ago, but it turns out the item was not ready bc the employee failed to submit that it needed to be resized and had gone out of town for a few weeks. Now we go back after receiving a call that it was ready and stood in the pick up line for a while...some employees would look at us and not say a word, not even a courtesy “we’ll be right with you”. Finally they come and tell us that bc it was a repair that we have to stand in the other line, but no explanation was given. Of course it’s the weekend, and COVID has made it to where there’s limited people allowed inside, so needless to say the line was long. No thank you! We will go back another time to pick up and will never to go back to this location.

My wife and I are not happy with our experience shopping at this Zales. My wife looked at, what seemed to be a gold necklace (w/ heart pendant). My wife was referred from one sales rep to another trying to get details (cwt, price, specials, etc).Rather than give us any info, the 2nd (3rd??) sales rep broke the chain! Lmao.Zales is sadly on the decline. Third rate quality, over priced mess. This long time Zales customer will take his business else where.
Absolute terrible experience with shopping at Zales. Following the return of an item, I received an email from Zales that my refund is processed . Its been 23 days since then and I havent received a refund to this date . The customer phone line has extended wait times ( I have never been able to speak with anyone on the phone after 45 mins of wait on two occasions ) and the chat support keeps telling me that this is being investigated internally . They mess up your refund and then launch internal investigations that run into days . No communication from anyone from Zales and its the customer who needs to track his own money with them . NEVER returning to Zales . What a waste of time it has been .

My family and i absolutely LOVE this Zales! Last time we went, Rupa helped us find all the history of our purchases over the years, she was very patient, and kind and genuinely friendly. She went above and beyond to help us and guided us on our next steps ( we were trying to find a warranty) . All the staff is very professional and caring . I personally have a ruby ring with two ruby hearts on it that my mom gave me at 15 ( Hispanic culture, Quinceanera is a very important milestone), I am 30 now and i never take it off unless i absolutely have to ( i shower with it and cook with it) and it is in excellent condition. The quality of jewelry at Zales is incomparable!

Zales opened back up. Only to be met at front by a guy saying we needed an appointment. The place was empty. I told him were returning customer and needed to get my wifes wedding ring fixed under warranty. This would be 3rd time the Stone has come loose.He said no warranty work will be done for months. Only can do work on new purchases. So were sol since were not a new purchase.

I love zales as a company but grrr the hours are super messed up here. Yes I understand it’s because of covid.. and that’s fine but my problem is CHANGE IT ON GOOGLE SO PEOPLE DON’T WASTE THEIR TIME. It’s happened to us twice. Apparently they open everyday at noon now. And close at 6. Even though most of the stores open at 11.

Horrible customer service. I purchased two rings before the pandemic. I believe I purchased it from Hamm. They are old school and when you call they know nothing. I am still waiting on my second ring and no one has reached out. When you call and they look in their system all they know is that you bought items but don’t know what you are owed, who was your sales person or what the status is on your item ordered. I will NEVER SHOP AT ZALES. It reminded me of the movie “Dumb and Dumber”
Very disappointed in the company. I bought a expensive Movado for my dads 50th birthday right before the corona lockdown. He can’t read the numbers and dials as much as I thought he could. I went today to return it and get a new one and instantly they told me it’s past 30 days and I can’t do anything. The lady even joked about me being upset that I couldn’t return during the lockdown. Ontop of that I also went to get repairs on another watch that’s under WARRANTY and they told me that their not sending anything out due to the virus. This is terrible customer service. I understand company policies, but I feel there needs to be exceptions and professionalism involved. Looking at previous reviews I’m clearly not the only one feeling this way. It’s a shame I recommended my family and friends to go there after I spent thousands of dollars.
Shopped all jewelry stores in the area but Zales was most professional. Manager Julie was genuine and knowledgeable. Carefully listened to me and helped me pick the perfect ring for my anniversary. Even gave me points to get the matching earrings for Xmas. In the future I will save time and go straight to Julie. Thank you again.
Hakeem was my sales person this week. Him and the manager together where absolutely amazing! They spent hours with me and it was so much fun. I purchased 3 rings for my beautiful wife to be, and also purchased a gorgeous set of earrings thanks to Hakeem listening to my fiancé. I’ve never been more impressed with a jeweler in my life. I called to ask a simple question and one of the employees really had an attitude with me and was so rude. Girl, it wasn’t my fault I didn’t like the gift I received. I normally never write reviews but the fact she was so rude on the PHONE, someone needs to teach her manners for real!!
Manager Julie is the BEST. Bought my wifes ring from her last year and got treated great. Came back today with an issue and she treated me just as great. A plus customer service. Wont buy from anyone else.
So, I bought my daughter diamond studs that were supposedly screw on and not easy for kids to take off. Not true. 2 pairs later we get pearl stud screw in, but the pearls fell off both not once but twice(2 seperate pairs). A child could have easily swallowed/ choked on them. Went to see what we could do about it. The pearl earrings were purchased in April and exchanged in May. Broken by September. I was treated as if I was some return/ exchange hustler. I was just asking what could be done. If nothing, say sorry and move on. No need to try and strong arm. And, BTW, if I purchased a protection plan then they could be replaced. 4 defective earring sets down...No, I dont want anything else.
We ended up purchasing an Opal ring here. They were very nice and pleasant to work with. No one pushed or rushed us. They did not give us that weird feeling you just want to leave the store ASAP. The ring was 1 size bigger for my finger she offered to resize it but takes 2 weeks, I refused and she gave me another offer to put a gold bar in the back of the ring so it keeps it steady, I’m happy with the result and the ring does not move on my finger. She went through the protection plan and website price match and very knowledgeable to work with. Honestly I never felt that good in a jewelry store. All other stores in that mall I’ve been they just want to push you and be rude. I would definitely go back again.
I am giving one star to the customer service. We ordered my fiances wedding band in the middle of December. We were told as we were purchasing it that it would take 6-8 weeks and that we would be notified when they got it. After almost 8 weeks, I called to check on it and was told No its 8-12 weeks. And theres no way for us to track it. We will let you know when its here. Well, if we had been told up to 12 weeks when purchasing, we would have gone elsewhere because we were getting married just over 12 weeks from then and we did not want to cut it that close. Either way, I called back again since we are 3 weeks out from our date and a very rude lady answered the phone and had the worst communication skills. I had forgotten we put it under his name and number since I was the one who purchased it and she was rude about that, and I had told her we were nervous since its getting so close but again nothing but rudeness. Then she finally gets back and says they called us January 29th and left a message but he never got it. Regardless I just said we will go pick it up. I dont ever post things like this but she really rubbed me the wrong way and acted like I did something wrong when I called and was worried that we hadnt heard anything with our wedding quickly approaching. Its just bad business. Dont ever make a bride or anyone else planning a wedding feel like they are the ones wrong when you can keep getting their business after the wedding. I like their jewelry and my fiance can afford it, but we will not give them our business ever again. I am all about customer service. If she had simply handled the situation of a stressed out bride better the conversation would have been so much nicer and I would have thanked her for her help. Instead I just said wed pick it and hung up because she flustered an already flustered person. Again, I never post things like this. And like I said earlier, this is no reflection on their actual products. Just the people we dealt with there.
Staff is very helpful. Their special events where you can have custom pieces ordered and made are fantastic and you always get a special discount when this event is going on.

Went in to buy a ring for my wife the whole time shopping I was told it was free sizing so I bought a ring then went back for sizing they said there would be a charge because I did not buy there $139 dollar warranty that we never use so needless to say if your gonna buy from this place you better ad on this extra cost to your bill if you want a ring sized.
I went into the store for an exchange on an item that I had that was within the 60 day grace period for another item that was more durable. I just wanted the credit to be applied to the new order item that I wanted. When I talked to (Julie) the store manager. From the start she was unprofessional. I tried to explain that the current item I had had been in the repair shop within three days of having the item. So I wanted to get a different one. I had given her a Zales card for a the person that took the time to help out in the other store so they could better explain the situation. She (Julie) insisted to yell at her for sending someone to her. At this point Everytime I would try to tell her anything she would give a smart remarks under her breath and then would walk away. Finally she had a sale rep (Hakeeum) to take over because she was frustrated. He was very understanding when I continue to talk to him. He handled everything plus questions professionally and with great manners. At this point Julie decided to come back to the conversation and insisted to just buy the new bracelet and to later worry about returning that item to the correct store I got it from. I wouldnt recommend going to this location. Overall experience I would rather spend money elsewhere
The employees flat out lie to customers they said i didnt have to have a receipt to return something as long as its under my phone number and my name so i went to take something back then they said sorry we cant. So again dont believe what they tell you. They just lost a customer.
The only reason this is even deserves a one star review is because one of their workers Gina was very sweet. The manager (short blonde hair with glasses) was VERY RUDE. She was disrespectful, she even glared at me at one point!!! R u kidding me? I saw that my ring looked off when I got it from the repair and she acted like I was crazy. Never going back to this place again!!!

After waiting over a week for a reply I will just leave this here....My fiancé visited your Frisco, TX location and was assisted by a lady name Julie. He picked out my ring, was approved for Credit through Progressive Leasing and finalized the transaction. When he asked about the payment amount he was advised that Progressive would mail him an information packet including the cost. When we received the papers we found out they wanted $187 every two weeks! Connor called and got the payment lowered but subsequently every month his credit shows he is delinquent the difference in the two payments. After almost 2 months we had come to the conclusion that we can not afford this ring and it needs to be exchanged.We went into the store and explained the situation to a gentleman that then referred us back to Julie to process the return. She offered to have corporate call Progressive to renegotiate the payments at which point I stepped in and explained that we had already extended once and weren’t interested in doing that again. Julie then put her hand out in a “give me” motion and before I could put the ring in her hand, she snatched it from me. She very angrily typed the information into the computer then slapped a receipt on the counter for Connor to sign. I remember saying multiple times we needed to “exchange” the ring for something more affordable yet she offered no assistance in doing so. Connor inquired about the refund on the insurance and down payment in which he was told she could refund the insurance payment but they “didn’t get the down payment money” and he needed to contact Progressive. She was so incredibly rude that I didn’t even get a chance to pick out another ring. Connor just wanted to leave.Now, we are cleaning up the mess made by your associate. Had she just told him at the time of purchase what the payment was he would’ve known this was unattainable and saved us the embarrassment, humiliation and hurt of having to return my engagement ring.If you would like to discuss this further please read through your messages for my contact information. Went in to return a Rolex we paid 7,000 for and they looked it up and printed the receipt. The manager for some reason didn’t want to return or exchange even tho it’s purchased on our zales account. She claimed she never saw a Rolex in zales In ten years she worked there. But then saw the receipt and felt stupid so refused to answer the phone when zales corporate called them to verify. They basically insuated we were scammers. Told Corporate we wanted to take the receipt like if we wanted to return a stolen watch. Trust me we were racially profiled because we were black and then they called security on us. I have a $15,000 ring on I don’t need to steal or scam a Rolex we purchased at the Allen outlets. The Allen outlets are closed so to flooding and that’s the only reason we came here. They are racist and rude and won’t ever get my money again. She also didn’t want to give me her name. She is extremely unprofessional. Stopped answering the phone when corporate was calling. We have been purchasing jewelry for over five years but will no longer support this corporation. Corporate will be taking care of it moving forward so we don’t have to deal with the stereotyping unprofessionalism. Julie is a racist manager and that is why her worker felt she can talk down to us and accuse us of stealing or trying to take a receipt. Y’all need a whole new staff starting with management. Unhelpful and terrible customer service. I dropped a ring off to be sized 3 weeks ago. They told me it would take 2-3 weeks, fine. Well I call after three weeks and they tell me “nothing is here for you.” When I ask for more information about where and when I can expect something they give me another number and hang up. I wish I had fallen in love with a ring somewhere else because every interaction I have had with these people has been awful! I was given the apparently district managers number(Jason) and he wont anwser the phone so no help there. Will not buy from them again.Update: called again today because they said the ring would be here today this is their response. “It is probably here in one of these boxes, but I do not have the time to go through them all right now so call back tomorrow.”
Growing up with a jeweler for a godfather you learn quite a bit about jewelry. The people here were either going by a script or clearly just spouting random nonsense about their stones. The manage was beyond unprofessional and outright rude.
I would definitely recommend this zales to anyone I cant remember the girl name that help us but she was from ny and she was awesome and she just listen to what kind of style I liked and helped me pick out the perfect engagement ring.... love this place will be back for sure
My husband and I went to this Zales in September 2017 to get him a ring. We already had all our info in their system, because we made a purchase 2 years ago. They had the wrong number and asked them to correct it. After we got married in October 2017, we went to get my ring sized and saudered. They still had the number wrong and asked them to change it. We went back to get my ring 5 weeks later, and they sized it but didnt sauder it. At that time we were told that they had attempted to call us, and STILL had the number incorrect in their system. We didnt get the ring back until 2 weeks after that. We asked them AGAIN to change our number because they still didnt have it correct, which is one of the reasons it took so long to get my ring back. We exchanged my husbands ring for another size (special order) and didnt get it back until 3 weeks after that. We called again to check on the ring and they said they had called us. They still had the number incorrect in their system! Needless to say, it took a month and a half to get my ring back after getting married.. and 3 weeks to get my husbands ring back all because our number was wrong in their system. NEVER again will we shop at this Zales.

**Fraud Alert** *DO NOT LET THE BIG NAME, “ZALES”, FOOL YOU* **Fraud Alert**Please, read. My wife and I placed an order and paid in full for $5200 wedding ring in July 2012. A 1&1/2 Ct Diamond ring on a 14k white gold. We were told it would take 6 to 8 weeks maximum.POBLEM #1: 8 weeks came and went. We called the store 9 times over 4 weeks period after the 8th week and we were told that they would get back to us all 9 times. We received NO phone calls from them. 4 days before the wedding, we passed by the store to have a face to face. None of the employees seemed to know the status of the order. Later that day, we received a call from the manager (Robert) saying that they will have the ring in 2 days. We passed by the store 2 days later only to find out that the ring came in a yellow gold instead of the white we ordered. Robert had it dipped in white (stuff) to make it look white gold. We took the ring home. PROBLEM #2: The ring looked so cheap to us so we took it to a local jeweler. A close inspection by a jeweler revealed that the gold was 10k not the 14k we paid for, the diamond was much less than 1ct NOT the 1&1/2ct we paid for, the welding on the ring was as cheap as it gates. The jeweler estimated at $1000. To make a very long story short, the District Manager had to get involved and he decided to give me a 100% refund for the new ring and a 100% refund even for a 2 year old ring that I bought from another Zales. I was satisfied with that but my wife wanted to sue them… She went without the ring she loved and paid for on her wedding day. By the way, Robert was very nice, understanding, and professional. Please, pay attention if you are to place an order with zales. DO NOT LET THE BIG NAME FOOL YOU!!!!!!!!!!
