Horrible service once we signed the contract. The estimator ignores emails and calls and didn’t relay pertinent information to the move coordinator, which in turn led to the information not getting to the driver. This after repeated pleas for them to coordinate. My emails regularly went days unanswered.After the struggle to get the simplest things coordinated, the driver had a different estimate for delivery than what we signed. I asked the coordinator about this and it took a few days with no response.We then verified that the original (contract) dates were correct. I then got an email saying the delivery date will be 4 days after the agreed latest date. When I questioned this, the coordinator had forgotten about our previous conversations(in writing over email) and had the nerve to question why I thought the date was earlier. They then quickly found the paperwork to verify I was right and they were going to be 4 days late.They then said “o sorry, I’ll send you a form for late delivery so you can get a partial refund”Surprise, I still haven’t received the form... or my entire household of belongings.Don’t bother with this company.I will say the driver and guys who placed up our stuff were great. They were on time, courteous, and hardworking. It’s the back office that is a nightmare to try and work with.
Tony, Samantha, Beth and Casey thank you so much for your help with our move from California to Michigan. We have never used a moving service before so we had a lot of questions about what to prep and how it would all work. From moment one we knew we were in good hands.Tony called and was able to do a virtual walkthrough and gave us a very accurate quote. Much closer than the other two estimates we received and still a better price as well!Samantha took care of payments and let us know that pickup was scheduled and what to expect when the drivers arrived. Casey called me prior to the move and made sure they would be able to park their truck on our street.Beth and Casey (the drivers) were polite, professional and made me feel like we were in good hands. We had enough to deal with with driving two toddlers across the country, and honestly the truck with everything we own was never a concern. If you have questions just ask - they are knowledgable people and their system works!We truly recommend Allied Berger and the team of Tony, Samantha, Beth and Casey. They are the best in the business.
Bryce organized the safe transport of our home from CA to FL perfectly. He was responsive, professional, and acquired the right support in the load-up and unload at our place in Florida. I would recommend Allied, and primarily Bryce for your next x-country move. Great company and experience, not to mention the low cost.
Worse experience ever. The day the move took place we started around 8:45m and the move last that Tuesday until almost 5:00pm because the freight user Berger Allied used was 3 hours late and was rude he and she arrived 3 hours later. The organizer of the move April disappeared the day for over 4 hours. I was told she was at lunch. I called the representative I spoke with Tony, he answer was always talk with April, who was at that time on a 4 hour lunch according to Tony and het no response to any phone calls. On Saturday morning I received a call from someone by the name of Thomas and he stated he is in management. He informed me that the driver Salvador of the truck moving my furniture and other items to another state was arrested Friday night, but had been found innocence and was released. During the time the driver was arrested, the police took my item ofg the truck and everything had to be reloaded. The truck was suppose to arrive on Sunday, 9/5, but did not arrive in the state I am relocating to until Tuesday. Some of my items were damaged, broken into pieces. This entire experience with Berger Allied has be horrible and the people treated me horrible. They disappeared, meaning they would not answer their phone April, Tony and Thomas. The arrived days late, items destroyed. I have to fill out claims, lets see how I will be treated through this process. This was absolutely the worse experience for me.
Both pick up and delivery were excellent. I was very happy with the delivery time as we moved half way across the country. The men on both ends as well as my original contact representative were professional, helpful, and efficient
Bill, my driver was experience, careful and thoughtful. I was very nervous when I saw the negative reviews from different moving companies. It is because, every moving company I researched on - has some sort of negative reviews. If you select Allied Van Lines - request and wait for Bill. His crew was just as good and careful both during loading and unloading processes. Maybe I am just lucky that I was assigned such an experience driver with his crew who actually were careful to make sure my belongings were safe and free from damages.
Called and set up 4 movers to come and help unload two 26ft budget trucks. They confirmed they could help. Called the morning I needed then to help and was told they were on their way. They never showed up, I never got a call or a reason as to why, and they wont pick up their phones when I tried calling again and again. I wouldnt hire this company if youre trying to actually get workers who want to work

Overall, we like the service that very professional and friendly communication. The two man that help us for moving taking very good care of our packages.
Excellent job! We left all the big stuff (paintings, lamps, etc) for them to pack, and we did the rest. The guys showed up on time, were super professional, and went the extra mile (we had these two huge desks - they explained what needed to happen, then disassembled them, took off doors, did what was needed to get them out - they’d been assembled in the rooms)On the other end, we needed a shuttle because we have a lot of trees growing over a long driveway. Once again, the guys showed up when they said, got everything where it needed to go - even those huge desks! We had crystal, china, antiques, and everything came through fine. We are so very pleased with Allied!!

I give Allied moving company -10. They are the worst movers ever. They actually put my furniture out side the truck and moved it across country in the rain and damaged all my stuff. they didnt even tell me that my stuff were damaged and then they had the audacity to ask for payment. I was stupid and didnt buy insurance but smart enough to take pictures of my stuff tide to the back of the truck and with that i proved that they breached there contract. please ask to meet them at wight station that is how I saw my stuff tide to the back of the truck.
