Not impressed, I felt like I was on the doctors assembly line. He was very hurried and not interested in my questions or concerns.

Great place to get your optical needs

Perfection!! After I changed insurance companies a few years ago, I was required to find a new Optical provider. Thank goodness. I had a very strong prescription and the Dr here at Super Optical did an awesome job getting me into the Glasses/prescription that I needed. Fast forward 2 years and it was time for Prescription Sunglasses. Mitchell, the Lab Guru, was patient with me in fitting me with my sunglasses. He was knowledgeable about how my Progressive lenses would not react well with a Wrap Around style of frames. We were able to find these Smith frames with the proper curvature and the look I wanted. Thank you to the entire Team at Super Optical for making my first 3 years with glasses amazing. Everyone needs to come here for their glasses.Customer for Life, Michael

It was alright. Staff seemed nice. The doctor seemed very knowledgeable. The only problem I have is my lenses on my brand new glasses already had a scratches on them before wearing them.Edit: They replaced the lens for me ☺️

Customer service is ok here, they are nice but many times they talk to you dont know anything about glasses. Lots of choices for glasses but pricing continues to get worse. Getting a pair of glasses for child and it costs $100 just for anti reflective lenses. Thats just outrageous and reason why i continue to go to Zenni.

The staff and Doctor were rude and condescending to me. One of the staff members left the exam room door open and stepped out. I could hear him and other staff making fun of me. I brought it to the Doctors attention during a phone call, and he had no concern about it at all. I only purchased my glasses less than 6 months ago, and they already resemble peeling tint. They costed over $900, and my portion was well over $300, after insurance. However, since I felt so humiliated by the staff, I will not go back there. I also had to request my prescription. By Federal Law, they are required to give you your prescription, whether you ask for it or not. After I was informed of this, I called back to get it. A woman tried to tell me I would have to come and get it. I quickly advised her that I was aware of the law. So she quickly said they would mail it to me. She WOULD NOT email it to me. So I had to wait for it to come by snail mail, although I should have received it in the office after I paid my bill. Ive heard this office was better before the other Doctor retired. By the way, you can tell how condescending they are just by reading some of the feedback responses to bad reviews. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I didnt have to wait long. My doctor remembered details from my last visit and he was neat, clean, and knowledgeable. The only downside is that my insurance wouldnt pay for my new glasses because I wasnt due for a covered pair until next March. I was in and out inside 1 hour. Our whole family uses their services and I would recommend it to anyone who might ask.

I have been going to Super Optical Express for years. For the last 15 years my husband and my children have been going as well. We always have great experiences everybody is as nice as they can be. We love super Optical. We moved a few years ago and so we drive an hour to be able to continue to go to super Optical. AND BEN IS AMAZING!! After your exam when you pick out glasses Ben is one of the people who get you fitted and your glasses ordered!

Eye exam was excellent!frame selection was perfect for my main glasses but I couldnt quite find a perfect match for my needs / taste for my sunglasses; so the sunglasses were a bit of an expensive compromise!

When I on phone call with woman front desk, I was check make sure they already provide interpreter which that their responsibly set up for interpreter before I arrive which I am deaf my language American sign language I dont understand read lip or English much so .. But front desk woman so rude they And start argue with me and hang up on me DEFINITELY RUDE!! I ask them please not argue they just keep argue I will not recommended anyone go there long as dont any have problem ...I near get sue this company til I talk to Mr John was nice and work out... That will be last eating if that happen I will sue for sure ! Because I have right know my healthy I not allow them to take advantage on me because I have deaf ( disability they call that ).

My granny was seen on Thursday during a very busy time. Benjamin was very friendly and helpful in getting her the glasses and making suggestions on her return for next year. He was able to get her glasses made in one hour. Benjamin is a great optician. The staff is great to visit. 👌

Would definitely NOT recommend this business. they make it extremely difficult to get your own contact lens prescription (when a copy by should be given to you at the end of your fitting according to the Fairness to Contact Lens Consumers Act. They use HIPAA as an excuse, but this is most likely because they do not want you using a competitor to get your lenses. Not to mention, all the receptionists (except for one) are rude, unfriendly, and lack basic customer service skills. Youre better off going to any other eyeglass/contact lens provider you possibly can. I certainly will NEVER be a customer again.

The doctor was thorough and took his time explaining what he was doing and why. The establishment itself was very busy, but I was never made to feel rushed during my visit. I was initially disappointed with the length of time and lack of reason that it took to receive my glasses, but that issue was resolved quickly with the assistance of a friendly staff member. I will recommend this business to people in the future and I will also be back for future needs.

I had minimal wait time from my appointment time until I was seen by the doctor. Everything was explained thoroughly and easily understood. Because I have seen him more than once and have a history in place, he feels comfortable to forgo some testing to every other year. In other words, I never feel like certain things are ordered just to run up the bill.

I sat there for an hour and a half. After being called back once I was sent back to the waiting room because one of the employees didn’t know what to do. Then the optometrist was sarcastic and unprofessional. Very disappointed in the efficiency and quality of this office.

The front desk staff and kind and professional and the optical side where i pick out my glasses; there are so many different selections! The optical team is very knowledgeable and helpful as well, they really help me understand whats right for me when it comes to the type of glasses i need and the type of things i need on my glasses. Wow!! This has been my first time getting my eyes done here in about 4 years. I had a contact lens exam for the first time and Octavio the optical tech went above and beyond in assisting me with my instruct. Without him, it would have taken me much longer to get adjusted to them. The gentleman, Benjamin that helped me with my glasses was extremely helpful as well. I would definitely recommend my friends to this office. They also repaired my frames that I didnt even buy from them. Great customer service!!

My glasses lens popped out yesterday evening, and try as I might I couldn’t get the glasses to go back together, and eventually lost the screw. I could hardly function without my glasses. So today I went bright and early to Super Optical and got my glasses fixed super quick so I could get to class on time. I didn’t get the name of the lady at the desk that helped me, but a big thank you is in order!

I went in with my granddaughter. Benjamin sat with us and was extremely friendly and informative. Jasmine at the front desk was nice and helpful. Jen helped with glasses also. Benjamin was able to get my glasses made in less than 2 hours. Dr. Funderburk is a great doctor and is the reason I visit.

I came into Super Optical on Saturday because I have class and work all week. I brought in my son for an exam also. After seeing the doctor, Benjamin was really helpful with finding my glasses and giving me advice on my specs. Brittani also joined in to help with my choices and reassurance. They have a great chemistry and I would recommend them to all my family and friends.

I really love this eye doctor! I’ve been going there for years. My eye doctor is the best. The only thing I would say is that the front desk Lady where you check in is not so pleasing. She doesn’t smile or seem like she wants to be at work. Besides her everyone was great. I would like to also acknowledge Mrs. Trina. She was very pleasant and nice. Her customer service was awesome.

The optometrists are great. I’ve been to this location twice for eye exams, and have seen two doctors; both were polite and helpful.The problem with this place is the front end staff. Unprofessional, unwelcoming, somewhat entitled, I.e. when I stepped to the front desk to pick up my contact lenses, I was greeted with, “What can I do for you” with monotone inflection, no eye contact, no smile. The woman who greeted me had red hair and eyebrows dyed in the same shade, so she cares about attention to detail, just only with herself I guess. There was a time when customer service meant making customers feel like they were a priority. I haven’t seen any of that here.It’s a shame. The lack of awareness of the front desk people takes away from the good service delivered by the optometrists.

I have been coming to Super Optical Express for years. Dr. Arnao is one of the best doctors Ive seen. The front desk staff is very friendly when you check in which is refreshing and they made booking the apt easy. Picking out glasses was fun and easy with the help from the optical staff; they made sure I found the perfect pair of glasses and was satisfied with my choice. I wont go anywhere else!

We like to get my teen glasses here, because of the vast selection. There are Optometrists in the same building, so you can get everything taken care of with one appointment. If you have your new prescription, you can still shop for glasses here.There is a large selection of frames: inexpensive; designer; sun/polarized; and, sports. This is great if you need a second pair. Also, most frames have free replacement. This comes in handy even if you get a second pair.

I made the mistake of spending $900 after insurance on 2 pairs of glasses. 1. I had to call and call until finally 1 came in and picked up the glasses. The 2nd pair were sunglasses, I picked those up and when I asked to have them fitted she acted completely put out. They are progressive lenses and still are not right. They could care less. 3 . I spoke to a woman about repairing my glasses, the lens was scratched and the side piece damaged. I asked if she could call the company and see if I could buy the ear/side pieces,my lens is insured so it would have to be replaced. Again put out that I asked for assistance. She said she would call me back. That was 3 weeks ago. Whenever I call I just get an answering machine. Do not go there . Total rip off, no customer service. Total disappointment . Still waiting for that call back............

The Dr is great. The staff is unprofessional. I had an appointment and when I got there I was told I had to have a face covering. When I asked why wasnt t told in advance or called I was told they cant call every patient😡 and wouldnt see me because I didnt have a mask.

Benjamin and each of the lovely ladies at the front are always cheerful, helpful and fun. They are kind and very knowledgeable about their products. The turn around time on eyewear is always quick. The only reason I rate them a four and not a 5 is because sometimes they seem to over schedule so the wait time can be a bit long. The appointments seem to run behind a lot. Don’t plan anything back to back if you have an appointment here. Leave plenty of time in between because you will definitely need it. But other than that as far as customer service goes this place is great.

Its a very comfortable place to be. When I go I feel listened to and concerned for. The entire staff is friendly and capable. Ive never felt so assured about the health of my eyes.

The people at this office made me and my daughter feel welcomed. They are also very professional and I was in and out of there off which is another plus. If you need to go to a eye doctor this is the place to go.

As a new patient I was able to get an appointment the next day. When we arrived we were treated very nicely by their staff. They were patient and kind with my daughter, and we were in and out in less than an hour. The best part is ... My daughter loves her glasses, and cant wait to go back. 😀😀

Definitely would not recommend this place. Went here for years and wasnt properly diagnosed. Wore glasses for years that they prescribed. My vision ke po t getting worst and worst. My glasses even started making me nauseated, and the eye doctor told me to close my eyes when I first put my glasses on. Then slowly open them to get used to the glasses. Moved to Hollywood Fl in 2916, and the first eye doctor I went to said I didnt need glasses. Said I had a condition (keratoconous), that required specially fitted contacts. Didnt listen because had been prescribed glasses for the longest by Super Optical. October 23, 2018 I woke up blind in my left eye, because my cornea had ruptured twice. Had to get a corneal transplant. Think all this couldve been prevented if Super Optical wouldnt been trying to fatten their pockets, and diagnosed my eyes right. Thanks for nothing Super Optical.

Through, plenty of staff to assist, & nice selection of designer glasses!!! If you are expecting a quick in & out appointment then you may be disappointed - but they are through & that takes time, which I very much appreciate. Not to mention they have Saturday hours. Front office cool to cold to customers. No smiles. MD performed well although also detached. Glasses selection especially sunglasses poor. Young lady who helped us with selection was the only bright spot. We received both our new glasses in a week.Office could use a spruce up.

I have been a customer here since 2005 and I find that the service has gotten worse since Dr. Buckner left. They have to order contact lenses now which takes forever to get and then they forget to mail them to you. Do yourself a favor and ask for the script and order them yourself

The optometrists are absolutely wonderful, and I would not hesitate to visit them again for my yearly exam. Despite a few setbacks with my lenses (I have a high prescription, so getting the lens geometry just right is understandably difficult), I was willing to give a 5-star rating simply on the experience with my exam itself.However, the woman who actually gave me my glasses was the most unprofessional and disrespectful women Ive ever met in any optometrist/optician office. Not only did I have to overhear her and another employee laugh and joke about how bad my eyes are and the prescription strength required to correct them, I also heard them blatantly refusing to correctly adjust my frames.I am absolutely astonished at how brazenly rude and lazy the technicians are.

I’ve been making my appointments with the Spanish-speaking doctor here for almost 10 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I always feel like they want to match me with the pair of glasses that are best for me. One of the ladies at the front desk greets me by my name even before checking my file which feels kinda special. I’m looking forward to when they renovate the office because the style is a bit outdated. I will return as usual. :)

Fast, professional, and courteous. They deal well with the variety of age groups they treat from kid age to elderly. The wait time wasnt too long, and we felt important. Highly recommend.

Dr. Funderburke is fabulous, been going there with all my family for 18 years. Hes willing to try new things, he is up to date on current research and ideas, and he really listens to his patients. The store side of things is less than stellar when it comes to customer help and support, I always feel a bit like I am taking them away from their REAL jobs that helping me with glasses is an inconvenience to them. However the glasses offered are great and the people who actually make the lenses are fantastic, and they also listen well.

Always good service. They helped me out when my grandsons glasses broke and did a temporary fix while we waited for the replacements. I thank the Lord for these good people.

Well, I set an appointment for my 10yr old daughter, even telling the receptionist my daughters age while setting the appointment. I got to our appt almost 45 min early, and waited patiently for the Dr to see us almost 45 minutes later than the appointment....no big deal as I know Drs can be busy. When the doc finally sees me he tells me my daughter is on the cusp of his minimum accepted patient age of 10. Heres where Im starting to get annoyed because this should have been mentioned BEFORE I traveled an hour away from my home in each direction to get my daughter seen, and they obviously knew where I was coming from because they needed my name and address to start the appointment process. I kept quiet though as the Dr started the exam, then w/Out completing the exam he tells me my daughters eyes are pointed out and away from each other and he doesnt have time to treat my daughter and I need to take her somewhere else. I was unhappy, but whatever, I smiled, thanked the doctor, took my kiddo and left. THE VERY NEXT DAY, I get a call from the Drs office, accusing my daughter of stealing from the Drs office. I KNOW FOR A FACT my daughter never stole from them, and they have cameras on property, yet I had to ransack my daughters (well behaved honor roll student btw) room and possessions, as well as disturb her at school to ask her if she picked anything up from the drs office. Unbelievable the way we were treated, and unfortunately i will not ever recommend this dr office. The staff was friendly and courteous, but the punctuality, and human relations are definitely to be desired. Im appalled they would accuse without proof, especially to accuse a child.

Not enough help, pompous doctors, closed when supposed to be open, no recordings on phone to let people know, nothing on webpage indicating closing early, NEVER ever get a call back, NEVER call when glasses have arrived and youre waiting for them. Customer service sucks, customer has to do all the work to get services requested. I hate this place, however they accept my insurance. That is the ONLY reason I stay using them I dread it every time.UPDATE: 12/31/2018I just received a phone call regarding my previous review. I will change it from one star to two, just for the phone call. However, for the most part I still feel the same way. Also, I did not say earlier that I was not the only customer who showed up that day when no one was answering the phone. Had a nice little chat with them who expressed the same frustration as me.

This place is great! I walked in expecting to pay out of pocket for everything because I have new eye insurance and was not sure what it covered and what places took it. The lady behind the front desk said that she would look it up for me without me even having to ask. Turns out they do accept my insurance and they had an exam open within a couple minutes. Got my eye exam done in fast and professional manner and then found a pair new frames. I was expecting to wait 2 weeks as I had in the past for my new glasses to come in as that was how it was with other places. I got a call the next day saying my glasses were ready!I walked in just looking to see their frame selection and was able to walk out with a new pair of glasses ordered that were ready the next day.I will definitely go back for any future glasses needs.

Best place in town to get your eye fix. The personal and Doctors are amaze, great customer service and the lenses are on time and the best thing its sooooooo cheap. If anyone ask me if I will recommend them Ill have no doubt about it...

Dr. Arnao is a good doctor. He performed a thorough eye exam and explained my pathology clearly. He made a compelling case for why I need to do a better job wearing eyeglasses.The office is on the older side, and the furnishings could use an update.The staff is kind and very tolerant of patients, including a wandering, meandering 2 year-old.The eyeglasses staff was very helpful. They clearly explained their prices, my insurance coverage, and my options for treatment. My glasses were ready when promised, and my total visit time, from first walking in the door to receiving my glasses, was under 2 hours.I will be seeing Dr. Arnao and Super Optical Express for a long time, I believe.

The staff was completely unprofessional, joking around and yelling across the office at each other instead of walking up to the person the information was intended for. It’s fine to have a lighthearted work environment but this felt like a circus, one of the staff members even smacking another at one point as I looked on. When we asked someone about who to talk to about ordering glasses, she was curt, rude, and unhelpful. The ordering process was pressured and uncomfortable. We shouldn’t have even gone forward but we did, and when calling to check the status, no one could answer the inquiry and we didn’t get a call back like we were told and we had to call again. When the glasses finally came in, they immediately gave my partner a migraine and when taken into another office, it was discovered the focus was incredibly an entire inch off in one lense. Beware of this place, it’s been the most horrible experience we’ve ever had with an optical company.

I have been going to Super Optical Express for about 20 years. Im not sure why I stayed - convenience / familiarity (?). I very much like Dr. Funderburk, however, I will now be taking my business elsewhere. They are extremely overpriced and I have often found the staff rude and not helpful.

Good place, but has one bad apple. Both of my no line progressive glasses were ready in a few days. The selection is extensive and they take my insurance, which few do.The only (big) flaw was the twenty-something doctor. I took the earliest appointments, and he was 20 minutes late twice and looked like he just woke up. First time, he left my exam to answer his phone. Next visit he said he got there late for one reason, and in front of me told the next patient something else. I was mad. Avoid this doctor Arnow.For this visit, I requested a different specialist. Doctor Funderburke is like my old eye doctor. He listened to my concerns, and we had a splendid talk. He got it right the first time and my vision is clearer than ever.

The doctors themselves are fine. But the front staff is not so great; very unprofessional. The front staff constantly talk to each other and waste business time instead of tending to people waiting. They have slowly gone downhill; would not recommend this place. They also dont tell you about some hidden fees until you have to pay for it. Some of the staff members are so lazy; they will get distracted talking to a coworker when asking them for your glasses and whatnot. Save your money and time and head somewhere that has a professional atmosphere.

This clinic is the WORST about giving out correct information to other providers. Within the perimeters of the law, they do NOT abide by the statues set forth and refuse to put a supervisor (if they have one) on the phone. I have dealt with Melissa several times, unfortunately.
