First time visit, Front desk very professional and very helpful with answering questions about my insurance. Dr.Roberts she is wonderful. Extremely thorough, and took her time with my exam I did not at all feel rushed. A few minutes later I went to look for frames for my new eye exam, Nicole the store manager, what a sweetheart, Extremely knowledgeable, professional and personableShe is awesome, we went over a few frames and lenses, Nicole explained everything to me that was on my list of questions. She helped me pick out frames that fit my face, very thorough with all the details with color, and fit.Thank you for a very comfortable first time visit.

Not to mention, same day examination & the excitement to walk out the store with your new specs, on the same day! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This was my first time getting prescription lenses. Everyone here was so friendly and made my shopping experience very pleasant, with no pressure. Bri and Nicole were fabulous!! I bought a pair of sunglasses from Macy’s Sunglasses Hut. A piece snapped off and they couldn’t fix it so they sent me to LensCrafters. The staff there, Heather, Brandon, and Bree (hopefully got the names right), were so friendly and helpful. Heather fixed the piece within minutes, cleaned the glasses, and tightened a loose piece free of charge. I will definitely return for the customer service alone.

My entire visit was amazing from I checked in with Emily who also prepared me for the doctor. It was my first time with doctor Milord OD, and I must say, She’s awesome, her mannerisms is excellent. Then I went to the other side to fit and purchased my glasses framed and prescription lenses, there I met Deo, who made choosing a glasses and the fitting an awesome experience. His customer service skills are great. This office/store is a five star.

About 2 weeks ago I went to LensCrafters in Roosevelt Field Mall to have my mother be fitted for a pair of reading glasses. The staff was very receptive to her questions and cared for her as if she was the only customer in the store. Deo was a great help to me as he attended to my mother. We ordered glasses and when it was time to pick them up I became a customer of LensCrafter as well ordering my own glasses. Service like this makes a customer a customer for life.

Incredibly rude customer service. I called over the phone to ask if my insurance was accepted and the employee said, No. and hung up immediately. Despite them not accepting my insurance, I still wanted to make an appointment, but unfortunately I will not be coming here after my poor experience.

Great experience with them. They got a wide range of glasses to choose from. The doctor that does the eye test is kind and patient. The sales persons were nice and informative. Everyone made it quite easy to get my glasses. My one issue is that they have to mail the glasses to a lab. I usually get it in an hour.

They don’t actually open on time.Made an appointment for 10am and had to wait.Funny because if i go to work after the time I’m suppose to be at work, i get in trouble. Annoyed.

If I could give zero stars I would. The retail section of this location has ZERO customer service skills and empathy for their customers. My mother needed new glasses but given the situation with COVID19, was unable to physically go into a store. She called this location to retrieve her pupillary distance number (PD), which is necessary to have glasses that fit correctly. Mind you, my mother has purchased several pairs of glasses from this location already.The multiple people she spoke to claimed that it was illegal to disclose the PD number and that they did not have access to email. I finally called on her behalf and the gentleman I spoke to (on the second call because he hung up on me the first time) fluctuated between stating it was against optometry law (not true) and that he could not tell me the PD number because I might write it down incorrectly. When I restated that my mother could not come into the store he rudely responded that I should do it for her.In reality they probably know that they will lose business to more affordable online retailers, but that is no excuse for smug employees with major attitude problems. I used to be an avid customer but Id reccomend that you shop elsewhere for a more pleasant experience - there are tons of options in New York and this place is just not worth it.

I probably should have read more reviews first. I was actually fairly satisfied with this LensCrafters at my 2018 visit. Decent lenses, even if somewhat expensive, and I was able to pick the new glasses up the same day.Weill, something happened with LensCrafters since then. My 2019 visits were very bad experiences. The eye doctor prescription was too strong, which resulted in a re-exam and reverting back to the previous prescription. Additionally, LensCrafters changed their process to send out most of their lens work to a central lab in who knows where. They estimated the new regular progressive lenses would be back in 5-7 days. I didnt get them back until 12 days later, plus they had them over a day without any attempt to contact me. I am still waiting for the sunglasses to be regressed. I left them 4 days ago when I picked up the regulars. I asked for them to be expedited as I am traveling in a week. The store staff, while very pleasant, seem to have very little power or ability to address customer satisfaction issues.Bottom line: I cannot in good conscience recommend LensCrafters to anyone at the current time.

I had my eye examination done at this location. At the end of the examination, I looked at the selection of glasses they had available. With the least expensive frame and my strong prescription I was quoted about $600. I decided that I wanted to save a ton of money and order my glasses online instead ($120). However to do this, you need to have a particular measurement called the PD or pupullilary distance. The doctor at this location refuses to give this information to me citing that they dont measure it there. In reality, they do not want give me that measurement so that I am railroaded into buying glasses from the attached Lens Crafters at exorbitant prices. If in fact you dont perform a complete eyeglass exam, the doctor should disclose that before commencing the exams so that patients can make informed decisions.Beware, the way that this Lens Crafters does business is predatory.

I just purchased a pair of glasses that the total cost was $1,559, and I have to wait two weeks to get them cause they’ve been order out. The lady told me that if I wanted expedited delivery there will be a charge of $25 extra. Seriously, I’ve been dealing with this store for a couple of year and never had this problem. This is absurd, if you’re spending this type of money the least the can do is weave the expedited delivery fee. I no longer recommend this company.

Even though this is a chain, I must say the people that work here are awesome. Gully is great--but so was everyone else. I wish I remembered all their names. They are really patient and will help you pick out the best frames, even asking their co-workers to weigh in.

Wow, I have to agree with everyone above. The doctor was fine, she was not anything spectacular and I think she actually may have gotten my Rx wrong. (my eyes improved nearly 2 points? Odd) And hence, I am seeing blurry with these try on crappy contacts that rip every time I open the package. Anyways, its been over two weeks now..no phone call, nothing. I guess I will be doing my own investigative work on my eye glasses and contacts now. But I have to say the front desk people were very nice and the one woman who helped with my eye glasses was very pleasant. She did not try and over sell me a crazy pair of eye glasses. However, they are not cheap! So do not expect to go there and spend 50$.

Terrible customer service. Spent about $500 on frames and I have yet to be able to wear them. They constantly stretch out while sitting in the case. Both times I went to put them on, they are so stretched out that they are unwearable. I bring them to get readjusted, and receive a lecture about taking them off with one hand. Obviously, that isnt the case because I havent been able to wear them at all. Then when I call to complain because I literally had them adjusted two days ago and they are already stretched out, I am told that I just keep having to come in to get them adjusted. I asked her if I literally have to drive there everyday to have them adjusted because they stretch back out by the time I get home. At first she said yes with an attitude, and then realized what she said and goes well maybe they are the wrong size. I said fine I will come back, but I expect to not get a lecture about how I take glasses off and that I walk away with an actual solution, but she didnt get to hear that because she hung up on me mid-sentence.

Its a LensCrafters. Do you really need more information? Location is in the quieter downstairs area of the mall, I found the service nice and pleasant, the doctor adjacent to the location is great. Not really sure how much better or worse a LensCrafters can be - if this is the closet location to you its perfect. At least that was my experience working nearby for several years.

Eye exam wise theyre good, however when it comes to buying contact lenses or glasses, they rip people off (doctor+front desk worker). Also, be aware, they swipe your card more than once. I got charged twice. I just lost all faith with these incompetent people.

If your thinking of going here, run!!! Caveat Emptor!!!I went here because I was told that my exam, lens and frames would be covered by insurance. They still managed to rip me off. The explanation of charges at one point got incoherent. I waited over a month to receive my glasses which should have only taken 7 to 10 business days. If your thinking of using them do yourself a favor and dont. Boo lenscrafters @ Roosevelt Field!!! zero stars if I could. Wow and they were rude on the pick up.

I got some computer glasses in this lenscrafters and when I picked them up they looked like bifocals. Very unflattering and unnecessary. I feel like they did it on purpose just to charge me extra money. Please dont go to this store. Not once did i say a needed reading glasses because I do have 20/20 vision.
