This store made me wish I was a better guitar player. I mean to say, craftsmanship is right on the square in downtown Garland at Jimmy Wallace. Good grief!!! I saw the very best in amps and guitars. I came for a guitar setup (with a touch of repair involved). The tech guy was freakin fantastic. He got it done pretty much immediately, taught me a fair amount in the process, and charged reasonably. Theres really not any more I could ask for here.The couple folks I met while inside were nice as hell, and they have a ridiculous amount of instruments spanning at least 7 decades.Im happy enough with the experience to bother writing this, and I think that probably says enough.

I found this shop by accident on Instagram and had to check it out and It did not disappoint!! They have a huge variety of new and vintage guitars, even some that are extremely rare. Best part is, they let you play anything and will work with you on price, even if it involves selling/trading. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly and makes this not just a store, but an experience!! I will be coming back and bringing my friends, great environment!!

Spencer Deaton is THE best guitar tech Ive seen in DFW. There are many good ones throughout the metroplex, but Deaton makes my guitars and basses so playable, Im inspired like a child, all over again EVERY TIME. He works with/for Jimmy Wallace Guitar in Garland. The shop carries some of the nicest inventory around. I was referred by Heritage guitars, as JW is their certified dealer. Very satisfied customer.

So far, I have gravitated back to JWG for 3 guitar purchases. We were both put through an ordeal on the first purchase by a third party. JWG exercised INTEGRITY throughout the ordeal and went wayyy past what I would call reasonable means to correct the problem. They havent backed off an inch in subsequent purchases to display professionalism and competence in their craft.

Purchased the Les Paul of my dreams here. Was exactly as described online and more amazing in person. Answered my questions promptly and accepted my cash offer. Cannot recommend more highly. Paid for Fedex shipping, and got personal door to door delivery instead. Great people who love guitars..
