This store is always immaculate, everything put it in its place, but thats maybe why I can never find/get anyone to help me. Even when workers walk right past you, they dont try to interact or assist. Its as if they are so busy stocking the next beautiful thing, that they dont have time for the customer in front of them.

Hobby Lobby is definitely like a treasure hunt you never know just what youll find. However anything you could imagine in its niche is certainly readily available here. I went in to browse the spring shop, I love to shop when items are on sale or reaching a bottom line price point. The store was clean organized/free of clutter, easy to navigate & any items with sale & promo pricing were displayed and detailed. I wasnt overly impressed by the sale price point just yet, but overall it was competitive for the selection. Upon check out I was asked about my shopping experience, kindly spoken too, efficiently rang up &cashed out. To me customer service is 95% why I do or do not shop a location, whether brick and mortar or online. Anyway I left satisfied and with an awesome new craft projects to keep me busy at least until my next visit!

I need to learn self control...lol. Theres always something to purchase. The store is clean and orderly. I am able to find most of what i need without additional assistance. I do wish there was more decor away from the farmhouse theme. Overall, i enjoy stopping in on my lunchbreak for some therapeutic retail shopping.

Hobby Lobby has never let me down! My last visit was to find a treasure box (and treasures) for my girls to do a treasure hunt on our family beach trip...I found everything that I needed, plus some!

This particular store has a lot to offer. Furniture, knick knacks, miniatures. The only thing they didnt have were instruction or pattern books. But they still get 5 stars from me because they always have an excellent selection of yarn, hooks and loom accessories.

I went looking for art supplies for a project. I found everything I needed and more.the store is so clean, and everything is positioned perfectly. It wasnt hard to find what I was looking for. They also have procedures in place for covid which is perfect. Staff also were very helpful with an extra item I needed to find. I am impressed, and love it here!

Im not usually a Hobby Lobby fan, however, this store is HUGE. You really can find anything you need for any craft you desire here and they have sales constantly. (I also usually use an online coupon as well.) As a crafter/artist, the appeal really comes from the one stop shop; everything I need is here.

This place is always clean, bright, and inviting. I love all the themed and well thought out sections of the store. The staff is always helpful and friendly. It is very enjoyable strolling through the aisles and seeing everything.

Me and my grandson went to Hobby Lobby to look for something that my daughter had gotten. It was a big campus of guitar chords. Not only is it art but the chords are actually correct. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I have been shopping at this location in Gastonia, NC for the t last 3 years. There are so many “Knick Knacks” to choose from which can range from various home decor for every part of your home ranging from the living room, dining room or kitchen. There is so much to choose from ranging from: fabrics, photo frames, wall art, motivational wall signs, vases, wall clocks, artificial plants, centerpieces for your tables...etc.Over the course if the last three years, hobby lobby has definitely been my “first point of reference” whenever I need any home decor essentials. Most recently due to the upcoming Christmas 🎄 holiday season. I decided to go to this location as is normal to the “seasonal section” of the store lol 😂 to see if I could purchase decent “Garland” for my front door. Of course there were so many various options of Garland to choose from but I found my perfect match. I purchased 3 to complete my desired look 👀.Also HL has so many Christmas decorations from stockings, fancy tree fillers, tree toppers and a huge...”HUGE” 🥳🥳🥳 selection of ornaments..made out of various materials from “glass” to “porcelain”. What a huge variety of ornaments from “small picture frames” to hang from your Christmas tree, Star Wars (ornaments), Cinderella Glittered Carriage, even tiny suitcase 🧳 ornaments (if you are a traveler like myself but hope for “brighter travel horizons” lol 😂). You name the type of Christmas ornaments you want and I assure you, they probably might have it or something similar to it.In my observation, the store is clean and well organized. When I was at this location on Friday November 13, 2020, I observed employees constantly re-stocking items and helping customers with items. The employees in this section were attentive and even asked customers:”if they could help find anything”. 🥰🥰Over the last 3 years, in other sections of this store 🥺🥺I have witnessed and have “had first hand experience” of “poor customer service” provided by certain employees. On 1 occasion, I only had to speak to a manager/ supervisor once about an employee helping me to locate an item. Hence, the four star rating⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️but I did not and will NOT allow 1 or 2 poor customer service experiences deter me from continuing to shop at this location.Overall, I would definitely recommend Hobby Lobby Gastonia. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

A good selection of all things arts and crafts and decorations for your home. They always have great prices and sales going on and I know I am getting a great deal! The only thing negative about this location is some of the isles are narrow and make it impossible to social distance.

Use to be the best craft store in town, but I guess they are having issues with shrink recently, because now the store is like being in the bodega from the movie, Dont be a menace to south central while drinking your gin and juice in the hood! Plus they have discontinued their store coupons.... At this point I only shop here when/because I have to 😢

Had a brisket sandwich. Taste was good and I liked that 3 BBQ sauces were provided. The amount of brisket was very slim and I really was not expecting shredded brisket meat. I would rather have sliced brisket for a sandwich. Service was good and the restaurant was kept clean.

I went here to buy a box of Prismacolor colored pencils and ended up waiting almost 30 minutes for the staff to pull it from the back. Even the small $20-$30 boxes werent on the shelves. Really weird. Build a locked case and give employees the key or install a camera or something, it shouldnt require me waiting 30 minutes on the manager of an understaffed store to get basic art supplies. (Do people really steal colored pencils from you and could you not find a better solution?)

Easy quick trip

It’s always such a joyous experience to wander the aisles of The Hobby Lobby especially around the holiday season. Half of me gets all giddy when I see all the toys and images of my dad hanging up all over the place and the other half of me just gets a kick out of wandering around the property of a business whose founder was such a huge fundamentalist.I am taking off 2 stars for the introduction of barcodes onto the merchandise. A fundamentalist Christian owned store finally deciding its ok with putting the Mark of the Beast all over their inventory just seems like your thumbing your nose at ol Beelzebub. I thought you were stronger in your fundamentalism.

I love this store! I just needed some craft time so went to look around. All the Fall stuff was out and 40% off. Now Im super excited! I also found some spring stuff that was 80% off! Can you say jackpot! I had a buggy full and walked out paying $40 something dollars. One of many things that I will get to make with my stuff.

Clean organized and has every craft supply or Home goods items you could possibly want! Found a gorgeous canvas scroll map of the world that we plan to hang in our living room and add pins on places weve been to! Absolutely loved the item but it wasnt marked with a price. When I got to the register the cashier was super sweet and friendly and helped find the price and when I hesitated on purchase because it was a little higher than I planned to spend she told me about a 40% off coupon and saved me $28!!! So I got the item I wanted for a price I could afford! This was my first time at this location as I just recently moved to the area. The employees were very nice and the atmosphere very welcoming and friendly and prices fair! I had a wonderful shopping experience and will definitely be back!

Store was packed! Saturday after Thanksgiving. Spent an hour there and checked out in less than 10 minutes. Great customer service! I could go broke there.

Theres a good selection of recently divorced or widowed soccer moms for the pickin. All ya gotta do is smooth talk em and act like yer into all that arts and craft jazz and they will eat it up, maybe even come home with ya if ya gotta bit of luck!

The store is spectacular on deals and low prices. However if you want art supplies for drawing and painting you might want to look elsewhere. Their selection is limited but the staff would gladly help you fine some alternative.

December 22, 2020My experience at Hobby Lobby in Gastonia, NC was not a pleasant one. The discount signs they have placed in different areas of the store can be misleading at times. When I attempted to question a cashier about a particular item I thought was on sale, she brushed me off as if I didnt matter. So after checking out, I spoke with an associate standing at the door. She explained to me about the discount signs. Signs are randomly placed throughout the store. This does not mean where they are placed, those items are on sale. You really must read the fine print. I accepted her explanation and thanked her. She responded, Have a good day hon. Emphasis was put on the word hon and spoken in a sarcastic manner. This was an unnecessary and unprofessional way to address a customer! I had not been rude to her and expected the same treatment. As a consumer, I have a right to ask a question about discount advertisements. I will not be returning to Hobby Lobby in Gastonia. Instead, I will shop at Michaels. They have great sales and respectful employees.

Huge selection of home decor and craft supplies. Always a coupon to print out from their website or download their app. Employees are willing to help with your questions and I feel they put the customer first even if they are super busy. Very pleased with the brand.
