The unit I rented was infested with spiders I tried to contact the office several times without getting a call back so I wasnt very happy

Love the security but its not 100% secure. I refer to the gate. Iveseen at least ¹ or more individuals drive right thru the gate after someone has used their pass code. My things are safe as one can be. They close access at 9pm and will charge $23 if your a minute late. Thats insane. Were all working and have hectic schedules to try and manage day to day.

Horrible customer service. Tried to upgrade and the lady had the audacity to tell us we were telling her how to do her job. Website clearly says they had available units but she kept insisting she needed to check and that she been there for years. If that was the case then she should have already known there was units available. Also charge me for a lock I never was going use but never told me I was charged for granted they did refund me but not the initial deposit. Dont waste your time with ANIMALS here. It got so escalated she called the cops to have us removed off the premises. Stated we were Hispanic over the phone. ha not even close. ASIAN thank you. Such a waste of my time, dont let that happen to you and go far very far from this place .

Unfortunate that I didn’t Look at unit& it was late Saturday when we got Way Down that hill. When I came into office Sat morn the lady saw I’m disabledYet she put me in I’m thinking the Worst unit Ever. Dirt dobbers on walls, overhead fluorescent tube lighting was broken out, there was a puddle Right at the FRONT CORNER of unit 804. There was 2 shady looking men about to leave the Actual Unit “hall” so the puddle could have been urine. I called the office at that location the next morning to report. I haven’t heard backfrom her... THERE WAS AN ISSUE BUT BRENDA & PAM RESOLVED IT. WE ARE NOW IN A UNIT CLOSE TO THE OFFICE & CAMERA! HAPPY AND SAFE NOW.Linda & Richard

Came into the office to ask about prices and size of spaces, Pam was the manager that help me today she is very knowledgeable about prices and sizes she also made me think of what I will be storing to determine what works best for me, I would absolutely recommend renting for Pam she is great

They could come down on their prices but I have access with my phone to open the gate the state of contacting the keypad

If you ever need a place to store your things I definitely recommend Public Storage on York rd the customer service is the absolute best! They take pride in servicing the customer and keeping the location clean. And the prices are the best around.

I stopped by looking for a rental . I was looking for a 10x 30. Unfortunately they didn’t have any units available. Sheila was very professional and helpful during our conversation. She took the time to explain the prices and promotions for new customers. Her helpfulness and friendly attitude will definitely bring me back for any future storage needs....

Brittany is absolute sunshine on a cloudy day! She made my Public Storage experience very enjoyable and I highly recommend this location specifically because of Brittanys ability to explain the difference between each insurance package, the times to access my storage and her ability to help me pick the accurate size of storage unit she thinks I would prefer by me just telling her the belongings I need to be stored. Brittany did all of this while keeping a smile on her face and the most pleasant attitude. I was going through so much and Brittney made my day ten times better!!! Storage building wasnt what they said it was will never rent from them again

Shauni was very professional, and knowledgeable about all aspects of the rental process. I felt as though she personally would be providing 24-7 security for my personal belongings;although I know that is not the case. I am sure she is a valued employee because she represents your business well!!

My mom has a storage unit here and we got a call from the manager Marcie letting us know that our lock wasnt locked properly. It makes us feel so much better about leaving our personal belongings with them for the time being.

Courtney is the best she helped me with everything I needed and was very set.. Smokes the whole time... definitely recommend you coming to see her.. Shes awesome!!!

I stopped by Public Storage today on South York Rd to get an estimate on a storage space. I was immediately greeted by Brittney! She was very professional, had a great smile and explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. Given the hellish day I had, she was a breathe of fresh air. Even though I did not rent a unit, I was confident that if I do, this is the place to go. She knows her stuff!!!

Threw my old family photos away, couldnt just sell the furniture and things like I told them because my mom was late on her payments ! I didnt mind them getting their money back from unpaid storage bills, but throwing priceless family photos away and all I got was Sorry yes yall are for just thinking about money and how would they felt if I did them the same way and said I was Sorry ......! So ppl dont be late throw them away ! I wouldve gave them NO STARS but had to so I can write this review!

They have know carts to help people with no car move their stuff to the storage unit. If you use public transportation its a Hassel. Otherwise ok.

I go in to this location to pay for another location every month. Every time I come in Leia always greets me with a smile. She has always been helpful and just wonderful. I will definitely refer people to this location.

Gate doesnt work at the facility, this is a high crime area, they only allow a $20 dollar lock they sell (they are 6 dollars Gastonia) and cut it even if you are out of town and a week behind and force you to buy another lock that they want $20 for for security. If you want security fix your wide open gate! Dont waste your money for a outside shed. Go elsewhere!

When I first reserved a unit, it was not the size we really wanted. Leia called to follow up with us and ended up having the size we wanted. She was very professional, helpful and kind. This type of customer service is hard to find these days. Our experience with Public Storage and Leia brought a welcomed relief to a very time-consuming situation.

Easy process from start to finish. 5 star service !

I would not even leave one star but had to put something. Firat prices too damn high. Second the unit flooded messing up almost all of my stuff and i could not even use then dumpster on property with out being told i will be charged. They cut off my lock and put theres on it not even 2 weks late. I would not use this place at all they have rats that chewed up most of my stuff and the foundation was seprateing. The lady was extreamily RUDE. This is a very bad place to do business. Please please do not use this place go some where else.

This place was supposed to be top of the line its not. Do not trust this place with your valuables. I got my storage unit robbed and they are giving me hell about paying the insurance.
