I definitely had a bad experience at this store because I was there to witness a friend get a notary done, however a customer was infront us in line and told the clerks Brandy & Herbie that he didn’t have his ID he left it at home. He proceeded to ask them did they remember him and removed his mask and sunglasses, Herbie was very confused and then the customer said a name, Herbie told him he didn’t know him but he remembered the name and they issued the notary. Next in line was my friend and I, now I had my ID HOWEVER, my friend filled the paper out with my maiden name instead of my married name and my license my name is hyphenated. Brandy stated that she couldn’t issue the notary because the paper didn’t have my married name on it. After WE WITNESSED THEM DO THE MOST ILLEGAL THING EVER. This was unfair and unfortunate that we had to witness this and was put at an inconvenience because staff is choosing and picking who they want to help!!
We were able to get medical directives notarized and witnessed quickly and at a competitive cost. Plus, they sell the cutest greeting cards!
Old worker doesn’t know anything he’s doing
Great Quality, very timely, and GREAT STAFF/Customer Service; specifically Zach Craig. Every order is received and processed in a timely manner and always exceeds expectations. From Blueprints to Flyers/Brochures - I am never disappointed. Highly recommend!
I use this store for my Amazon returns often, and they are very efficient and extremely professional! I have witnessed them going above and beyond several times.
We came in with a package for return with no problems.
Never see my money again there are people with very bad attitudes.
Been using this store for years even before they moved ....lately the employees have really been just rude what happened??
The people working at this location have been friendly and helpful in my limited interaction with them. However, UPS as a company is potentially the worst Ive ever had to deal with. I shipped a UPS Next Day Air envelope on January 28th which was supposed to arrive in Greensboro by 10:30am the following day, January 29th. This envelope included important documents necessary for the closing of a real estate transaction due to occur by 4pm that day. I was told at the time of shipping that they couldnt guarantee it would be there by 10:30am due to COVID, which is understandable and I assumed meant it would likely get there later in the day. It became apparent that UPS had somehow managed to lose my documents when 2pm came and passed with no update on the shipment. I was forced to drive 4 hours round-trip to deliver the documents myself. Throughout this ordeal I called the UPS customer service line no less than 5 times over the course of 3 hours before I was able to get in touch with somebody about my shipment. I was finally told that UPS is not offering refunds on next day deliveries that dont arrive next day because they cant guarantee delivery times. My package has still not arrived even though I paid a hefty premium for it to be shipped quickly through a service called Next Day Air. I tried contacting this store to see if I could get help processing a refund but they were rebuked by corporate UPS as well. Ive gone ahead and disputed the charge with my credit card company and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I would highly recommend avoiding UPS at all costs, as Ive had no issues with next day delivery service from either FedEx or the USPS even through COVID.
They are always extremely friendly and willing to help their customers to the best of their abilities. I have never had an issue with them and I use their store very often even over other ups stores around the Gaston County area.
The clerks are friendly and efficient
I was extremely disappointed with the rudeness and lack of customer service when I came in to ship some T-shirt’s. I was essentially turned away at 15 minutes before the store closed because the younger man working behind the counter thought my order would take too long. His lack of empathy, heavy sigh when he saw my bags to ship and his reminder that “they were closing in fifteen minutes and nothing would be shipped tonight anyway” was a huge turn off to me. I fought through 40 minutes of gridlocked traffic on 1-85 to make it to the location before they closed. If I could give it zero stars I would.
This store was great and the price was right; the staff was professional and efficient. We needed notary services, and the notary on staff was friendly and helpful while also getting our paperwork done quickly. I would go there again.
Older gentleman would not accept our package and said we had to purchase a box to put it in. We knew that was a lie so we asked him to print a shipping label so we could handle it ourselves, he said he couldnt. So Amazon sent us a shipping label and we gave the package to our local driver who gladly accepted the package without an unneeded upcharge of a box. Reported the store to UPS as they gave false information and were not helpful.
Hate theses people horrible service I really hope this place gets shut down every employee should be fired
Just question, can I send packages to locations on the ups store?
Ive used this location many times to return an item or ship something, Ive never had to wait. When Ive gone in and people are at the counters, someone from back ask is they can help and have always been in and out within two minutes.
Searched through my package, picked up a hinge for an IR hand tool and claimed they couldn’t ship gun parts. I insisted that it was a tool and was actually just a swivel hinge for an air hose and they refused to listen. Took it to the other UPS store and they said it was fine. Even came in an IR Tools box so I have no idea what their problem is.
1 Star because google wont let me put ----Negative Stars .Terrible service, extremely unprofessional, largely a waste of store space. I was attempting to ship a wooden rifle stock to a friend. Which is 100% legal and is done all the time. There were two employees who immediately changed their attitude and language as soon as they found out my parcel had anything to do with firearms. Remember this is just a piece of wood, no moving parts, no metal, just a piece of walnut. One of the employees was so bold to state that they cant even ship bolts or screws if related to firearms, and that he was going to confiscate my parcel. That resulted in my exit from the building to never return. I am taking the time out of my day to write this review in the hopes of letting others know that this store is a complete waste of time and the people working at the counter are unprofessional losers
I dropped off a 24 lb box on Dec 20 th I paid for 2nd day air. I called the store because I was not able to track the package, the only info was a shipping label was created. The store assured me it left the store on 12/20 at 5:30 pm. I still was not able to track it, so I called the 800 number ups informed me it had not been picked up at the store. Someone in the Gaffney SC store stoled my package. It was Christmas presents for my daughter and my 4 grand children. Ups is investigating 7 -10 bussiness days. I dropped it off there and now its gone
Why is it that we are a fee based world? I dont mind paying for a service, like printing color copies but when you charge me to open a email with the pdf in it, thats ridiculous! When its going to cost me $3.00 for you open the email and .59 a copy and I only 6 copies. You can keep your fees and Ill go home and print in b&w!
Worker at counter said could not ship gun parts when the item was merely an accessory, a scope. Came across as anti 2nd Amendment. Said cant ship anything related to guns whatsoever but the real ups agent off 321 N said limitation was only on gun parts. Will not be using this place ever again.
Needed to have a will and related documents notarized. Went to UPS where Devon notarized everything. 2 other UPS employees were witnesses. Copies were promptly made and the total cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend!
Just stopped here, and the service was wonderful. Quick in and out and people were smiling. I’d regard the Megan reviews as probably more troublesome customers, because this place had impeccable service. :
EZ on/out. Polite employees running the place. This is my new UPS store even tho it is farther to drive.
Customer service is horrible here and the location is not easy to get to. I miss the old location and staff.
Rude rude and plain rude. We get items often with UPS and I have never had a problem in that my husband could not get my items. I prefer Charlotte locations. But we moved to Gaston county and I will never use this locale as an access point EVER AGAIN.
Wish I could put 0 stars. Horrible location. Recently moved to the area and my disabled mom went to pick up my package as normal and was told she needed the tracking number. I sent her the email with all the information including the shipper. Then they tell her we dont have the same last name...DUH people get married! Then I called to ask Herbie what could be done and he was rude and nasty to me as well. And informed me that he doesnt get paid enough to deal with this and was sending my package back that was supposed to stay at the location until the 15th. Abuse of power and a racist pig but what should I expect in this day and age. I am a small business owner and I will never use UPS again. One bad apple will hurt a company.
I just spoke with Kevon about notarizing a document and I have to say he was the nicest person. So pleased with my experience.
Kind staff. They try to be expedient. Even if not too busy. Supplies are reasonably priced
This store sucks. I usually use the one in belmont. they forced me to by an envelope from them when I had my papers in a brand new sealed envelope. they said to prevent damage. how can papers get damaged and how does an extra envelope prevent it. Anyway wont use this location ever again. If you want fair service and nicer ppl use the one in Belmont
I have a mailbox at this particular location for work. Unfortunately I am moving and was going to switch stores to one in Waxhaw, until I met the people at the Waxhaw location. My company has a corporate account with UPS for shipping and the owner at the Waxhaw location would not accept it. He was very rude and even with me willing to pay for a year upfront for the mailbox he wouldn’t accept the corporate account that my company has set up with them. So I will travel the extra 40 minutes and stay with the Gastonia location because they have the greatest staff I’ve run into at a UPS store and I’ve been to a lot through out the country. They are AMAZING super friendly and always willing to help. And best part they honor the corporate account that’s set up.
Every time I go in staff has always been very helpful!
Nice and professional. Very quick.
The gentleman that helped me with a shipment was kind and helped keep my 2 year old engaged with funny faces smiles and stickers. He went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant experience.
I have always had a great experience at this UPS store.
Service was very fast and efficient
Nice workers very helpful
Very rude and unprofessional. I’m taking my business elsewhere.
Awesome store and staff!
Not Happy with services,,,, Very rude employees,,, instead of helping making difficult.:(
Good service.
Very rude owner, very bad experience.
