Farmington Road.. It was a 5+ star store until they started renovation. Now its hard to find anything. And inventory is only a fraction of what it normally is. I understand - they want to stay open while remodeling. But, it might be better if they closed, making the remodeling process faster and their customers happier. Time to go to one of the other Krogers.
I hope that my abandoned cart was discovered yesterday before the sour cream turned or the beer got warm. After completing my shopping, I saw the check out situation: one cashier line open and one set of six self-check stations open. The lines were ridiculously long! This was not at some odd hour, it was around noon on a Thursday!Management needs to figure out staffing needs pretty quickly, or plan on restocking a lot of products.
**I will never shop at this store again **I passed two Kroger stores to get to this one in hopes of getting fresher looking fish. Needless to say, it wasnt much better. I asked David(seafood clerk) if he had some better looking catfish, he simply said no. I opted for the salmon. In doing so he touches/scratches his face. He grabs the paper slaps it on the scale with the same hand. So I asked him to put a glove on, since he was going to be laying my fish on that same paper. He said they are only required to wear one. I pointed out he had just touched his face. Please put on a glove and use fresh paper. Refusing, initially before going ahead and getting a glove but not without giving me attitude. I just decided to leave to look for manager. I found a manager (Colin) on an isle stocking. EI explained what happened, his response was uh huh, Ill speak to him about that. Wow!!!! Not ever will I shop there again!!!
This is the worst stocked Kroger in town. Do not bother shopping here they will be out of what you need for a meal. Whom ever orders for this store is horrible at their job. Shop somewhere else
Disgusting store! Lazy employees and obviously no management whatsoever!I only place pick up orders so I limit contact with all kroger employees and they cannot even manage to put orders together and get them to the customers! Worst customer service imaginable! Dirty Store, Rude Employees!I MISS PUBLIX!!!!
Huge store and was busy. It was well stocked when we went at 3 on a Saturday
This used to be a great store, however, that has changed. Let me start off with the fact that the employees are nice. However, the shelves are constantly missing regular, every day items...I am talking about strawberries, spinach, rice, rice cakes, ground beef and turkey. There are items that have been missing for over a month. It now go to Target to get certain items I know Kroger will be out of. Oh, and the lack of cashiers at the 482 registers they have is ridiculous. I dont mind checking my own groceries out if I have a few, but not when my cart is full. This store can be better.
Amazing customer service. Only one lane open for checkout but moved swiftly and with a sense of urgency. Other lanes were self-checkout, pickup or express. Both cashier and bagger were friendly and thanked you for your business. I did not look at name badges but they definitely deserved their names being mentioned. I apologize. I will definitely patronize this location again.
Poor meat quality- especially the choice steaks. Rancid meat is sometimes put out for sale. Not enough employees- at the point where well have to shop elsewhere or online, because this place appears to have given up.
I worked here for some time and all I can see is this was the worst store I have ever worked at. Everything is unorganized and nasty. Their is rats all in the back they get into the products. The management is some of the worst I have ever seen one of them cussed at me for no reason probably because he’s upset that he can’t feed his family. Please don’t go to this Kroger
Good variety, clean store and great service.
LOOK OUT FOR KROGERS FROZEN VEGETABLES!!!!! I was cooking a dish that required cut green beans so I decided to use the frozen Kroger brand, and while I was cooking the meal, I found a dead caterpillar in my pot. I am so shocked right now considering this type of product simply recommends microwaving it in the bag itself and that its ready in minutes. I had to throw out my whole meal and a good piece of tenderloin that I bought from Whole Foods Market (Germantown, TN). When I called Kroger to explain what happened, they said that they could just compensate me for the green beans. Wow- what amazing customer service. ---Im so grossed out right now.
Worst online ordering ever. It use to work really well but lately due to severe understaffing it’s impossible to get orders at the allotted time. I placed my order for 12 and it wasn’t ready until almost 5. I would’ve told them to refund me and gotten the items myself if I could have but I’m under quarantine and have to have someone else get the the supplies.
This store is terrible: dirty, disorganized, always under stocked and all of the employees are rude and dismissive, from management on down. And this is not due to their reorganization or the pandemic — this store has consistently been mismanaged for at least the past 2 years.
CONVENIENT MARKET CENTER: made a quix trip to this location, my other choice when not at one of the two other marketers I use (the other is a sister store to this one so, I guess one could say they are the same, except they arent) when in need of specific items. Going here is like going into your very on all in one shopping version of the computer. The run down, Pharmacy, Natural Food, Fresh Market, Fresh & Frozen Food, Frozen Vegetables/Meals, a mini-seasonal/auto items area, School/Card/Books...and its all laid out in an easy to navigate fashion for a quix or longer shopping experience. Then there is their Deli, Bakery and lets not forget the offering of two boutique style local favorites for coffee or bar-b-que... I used their self-service checkout since I didnt have much; its convenient and there was a nice gentleman there to assist if need be. We struck up a conversation as I was scanning my goods. The people are nice and the location is conveniently located since I do business in the area from time to time...there is plenty of parking, and they have ample upfront parking for disable drivers. I found some really interesting, their electric vehicle charging stations; so, if you are in the area check it out if you need it and stop in for a visit while youre there.
I would never ever shop from this store ever again! I ordered online to pick up at store and when I got home the cucumbers that they’ve gave me are molded and not useable already. Called the store and they said they can’t do anything about it unless I take the cucumbers back to store. I was not lying but he was very offensive I shopped about $200 and they were very rude
The store is fine. But remember that a number of the employees working at this store live out of their cars so be nice to them and maybe support the workers.
Its just ok. People whom work there are ok. Some go above to help. Lines are usually long not much else.
Once upon a time this was a good store to shop, but I has become a study in unstocked shelves. Do not go to this particular store if there are specific items you need, just drive on by to Walmart because you will end up there anyway for items you needed.
The worst customer service EVER! Put on hold for 30 minutes and hung up on twice just to ask if they have one item in stock. This store needs to get it together!
Kroger Farmington cannot get their clicklist act together. My daughter was there at 12:47 this past Monday for a scheduled 12-1 pickup. She left at 2:57 - yes over 2 hours. Lady next to her was also well over an hour late. If this were a one time occurrence I wouldnt be posting this. It has been awful for the last several months. This is not rocket science. Quit slotting so many people and back it down and get it right. That was my other huge gripe on this is that we had at least 10 items that we were charged for that we did not get that I had to go pick up today. Unfortunately Kroger owns the Memphis market. Thankfully my wife has also had it so we will now change to a different, less convenient, Kroger.
I have two complaints with this store. There are seldom enough checkers. Its not uncommon to be anywhere from the 4th, 5th, 6th.... in line to check out. Its also frustrating because the store is seldom well stocked.
Always well stocked, very clean, & they always have their cashier lines open. They rarely have long lines to check out.
The parking lot is a quarter full. Not busy at all. All but four self checkout lanes and two manned lanes are closed. Lines are at least fifteen people deep. It was inconvenient for me to make this trip, but it was so empty I thought it was worth it. I ended up just abandoning my groceries and walking out. Very disappointing. It’s a Sunday night. No excuse for this poor management.
My favorite Kroger! Wonderful customer service! Great selection of food and home items!
Rude staff, unorganized, long lines, parking lot is a mess to drive through. The salmon is never fresh.
I went to the pharmacy and asked to get a flu shot. They asked me to fill out the necessary information online. So I did and waited for about thirty to forty-five minutes and started noticing people coming and going. I went to the counter asked about the hold up. She said she didnt realize she had a person with the request. This pharmacy is very unorganized and poorly managed. Go somewhere else and save time and get better service.
Not so friendly staff, can’t ever find anything in this crazy store. Very very rude customer service.. we drive an extra 20 min to go to a different location even though we live 3 min down the street from this one.. not again... given way too many chances for this place.
My mother went there today and had seen a Kroger employee dump a bunch of vitamin water in a bin that was advertised for 10 for 10. When she was checking out the checker gave her a different price so she went to the service desk and had let the person know that the price was marked on the bin. The customer service person seemed to insinuate that my mother had changed the price. Since her English is very good she couldnt argue with the rep. I have a receipt and I will be asking for video footage of when the vitamin water was loaded. Kroger has a policy to honor prices thats advertised but in this situation they took advantage of an 80 year woman that couldnt fend for herself
Placed an order for pick up. Arrived well after ready time, 1 hour after email said my order was ready. checked in online. Called after people who arrived after me were serviced (25 minutes after check in) Took another 25 mlnutes to receive my order. No apology for the wait by the rep on the phone or the person who delivered food to the car. It was a $45 order - 20 items. Ordering online from other Kroger stores seem to have similar waits that are so long it makes no sense to do it! The app works great for ordering but holds you hostage to actually get the groceries.
8/23 Black lady in the pharmacy is very uptight, aggressive and rude. She should consider some anxiety medication for herself. I said “thank you” and she didn’t say anything. Also, she said “Walgreens” by mistake. If she bring it down a notch and be happy she would not make that mistake and treat people better. Sorry you’re having a bad day. Breathe in breathe out.
Was disturbed that so many customers were not wearing masks and obviously not encouraged to wear masks past week since all news reported rise in cases in TN. Did not feel like Kroger was serious about customer safety; at least not at this store. May need to shop at store on Kirbry; since they are n Memphis n will have to follow mask requirements??? Did not receive response from manager at Farmington yet from my concerns...may forget Kroger if no changes made since they are doing well; not due to their customer concerns, obviously!.
Yall need to give Bill a raise.
There are never enough cashiers because they try to force you to use self checkout. If you use ClickList, they give you a time to pick up your groceries. The groceries are never ready on time, and you still wait 30 minutes just like the register lines inside. Kroger isnt efficient at all.The only positive is that their store brand is pretty good for the money.
I will never shop here again! I put thought into visiting an upmarket area of town to shop for groceries. However, I reside in Memphis. It seems, the higher the demographics the worse the experience I get. Terry in pharmacy was so unprofessional I could not believe my ears or eyes. I’ve never experienced something to this magnitude probably ever at a pharmacy. I’ve had far much better experiences in the lower income areas.
This Kroger has the best selection of everything you need. They make other stores look bad. I switched to this Kroger from the Kirby Pkwy-Poplar store because this store has a far better selection and the employees are very friendly and helpful.
Simple, Order flowers. Sent the wrong flowers. Told me they couldnt resend the right flowers but would give me a credit. They credit the wrong amount. Then they tell me they cant guarantee they wont do the same thing again. Tell me I would have to call a third party. On the customer service number 3 times and they keep explaining to me that the previous person did it wrong and or did not follow through with what they said they were going to do.NEVER BUY FLOWERS and hope you never have to call customer service.
Good store, just want anything you might need. The beer selection not spectacular but good enough for a grab and go, and you can find a decent bottle of wine. I love their cheese section, though. This store gets a bit crowded during peak times, so I would visit on of hours.
Do not do clicklist here. I waited over an hour forMy groceries. I understand that COVID-19 has increased the amount of orders for clicklist, and I’m sure (I hope) they are doing everything they can. HOWEVER waiting over an hour is a bit ridiculous, even given the circumstances.
Nice and clean very friendly
They are very nice. Need more gluten free items and faster restocking when depended upon items run out. Assistant at self check out 6:27 pm was very good and helped us several times!
! I place A online order with this location I was told today was my pick up day once I get there I was told that I cannot pick my order up until Saturday it’s understandable that orders are backed up but I feel that they should have some kind of system to let the customer know that you will not be able to pick your order up until a later date just to find out once you arrive there! The manager was very rude and I explain to him that I have spent my last money on getting groceries for my family and that I had no more money to come in and shop since my money has already been taken off of my card one of the employees came over the walkie-talkie And said she should come in and get her own groceries after I have already paid for my groceries Online! This store is very un organized and the manager was very rude and heartless to the situation that is going on with COVID 19 they could care less about the customers who spend thousands or of dollars with their stores!!! I have children at home that I need to feed and now thanks to pick up orders I have no more money to go out and get more food and now I have to wait several days to get my money back from having to cancel the order that I was told that I could pick up today this is a huge inconvenience and now I know have no understanding of what I’m gonna do!!! I checked my card and the money has been taking out of my account after the order was canceled so I’m still left without food today and probably tomorrow until they put it back in my account!
Good selection, always clean inside. Love that the Starbucks inside provides holders for your coffee that hang on the carts. My only complaint about this Kroger - no one ever offers to help me to my car, even when Im shopping with small children.
This used to be my favorite location but lately it hasn’t been good at all
This Kroger is by far the more clean and organized than any Kroger in Memphis. They seem to always have a wide variety of fresh produce but very poor service. Just last night I walked into the Kroger with the lights on and doors opened at 9:30. I grabbed a cart and walked past the managers and checkout clerks with no problem. While picking up the last items of about 15 items I had in my cart, there was an announcement that said to pick up your last items because the Kroger was about to close. Now to remind you, when they said that I was putting milk in the cart. Yet by the time I picked up my eggs an older lady came with the meanest attitude and said that they were closed, even though we had already been in the store for about 15 minutes. I thought it was crazy that Kroger could close while people are inside shopping so, I picked up a box of cereal and walked to the front to check out while the lady followed us looking us up and down as if she was escorting us out. And to top it off she was standing over us as if we were stealing groceries. Nevertheless while she was watching us like a hawk because they were suppose to be closed an employee put a half a gallon of milk on the scanner and went to the back to finish his shopping. When I asked her why she is letting him shop, her response was because he is an employee. In that moment I knew it wasn’t about them closing or him being an employee. It was about race, because of my race I was not allowed the same service and was basically told that the store was closed. On the other hand when the Caucasian man bought milk and went to the back of the store he was told to take his time. But now that I know that is krogers service is like this, I will never spend money there again.
Great experience as usual. Fresh fruit and very well stocked. Best of all, the best customer service in the Memphis area.
Nice store, good selection. Cashier could have been more helpful after asking for their discount card and us telling her we didn’t have one or knew we needed one. She just laughed and reminded us how much money we were wasting. We are new to the area and never before shopped at a Kroger store. We felt unwelcome. Thankfully, my husband asked another employee about the card, and she explained everything about it and directed us to the customer services counter.
Wow, the Kroger off Farmington and Germantown Parkway is fantastic. They have a very nice salad bar, a Corkys, Starbucks, their delicious Baked Chicken, and many more goodies. Service was fast at the checkouts and the scan and go. I spoke with several employees and they were very proud of their store. Friendly yet professional! The only bigger Kroger I have seen that is larger and has more items is the one in Saginaw, TX! I will definitely make it one of my go to places.
This is my favorite Kroger location. The customer service is amazing. I also love the special areas located inside; olive bar, cheese station, deli, bakery and the meat department. I also like the extra self checkout registers and short lines to checkout.
Its a fine grocery store. Very nice on the inside but the prices are a bit high. They offer an order online, pickup in store service now that is actually great.
Always excellent. Used the Scan and Go thingy and LOVED it. Just be sure to grab enough plastic bags when you get your scanner.
This is my favorite Kroger to shop at so far. They have a great natural foods section. Theres even a juice bar. I will have to say that the bakery is not my favorite, since we went here looking for sweets once, and the employees behind the counter pretended to not see us teething to get there attention for a pastry behind one of the display cases; they were trying to shut down early for the evening, but still.... it was pretty rude.
Big store, clean, nice selection. Cashiers are horribly slow. Theres no excuse for the snail-like pace at the checkout counter. This is the weak link. Good management could have this fixed in 24 hours.I recently tried using their online ordering system as a way to avoid the dreadful cashier line, but that too was a fail. Tonight they told me to be there between 6 and 7 PM for pickup. I arrived at 6:50 and they said they werent ready. They told me to come back in 30 minutes. To be fair to them, they took $20 off my order for the inconvenience.I went back a second time and they had more problems, for which they waived the $5 service fee.Later that evening I discovered items were missing from my order. I went to check the receipt, and discovered they gave me someone elses receipt! Even if they had given me the correct receipt, I couldnt have reconciled it that night because my order wasnt yet posted to their online history.Theres no escape from the pain at this store. Be prepared to stand in line while sloooooow workers, casually take their time ringing people up.
This is my Kroger. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. Mr. Bill is always attentive and concentrates on you. I always try to use his line when I see him working. Thanks !
Guess management could have cared less about 8am customers this morning there were no cashiers on duty except the lady at the self checkout station due to this customers with full carts had to check and package themselves. The lady was helping one female customer checkout her full cart which left a man and his wife who were waiting for assistance with a problem with their self checkout to simply stand there and wait until she was done. One cashier did start a regular line shortly after 8, but what gives
What can I say, its the go to super market in the area. I shop Fresh Market, Whole Foods and Costco. There are household and pantry products I rely on Kroger to provide. Wax paper, Soap Pads and a Plethera of odds andends like Jumbo size Eggs.
This is my local Kroger and it is the best in town. Its a newer location, opened in 2015. Its very clean and the staff are always friendly. There are always multiple lanes open for fast checkout.
They redid this Kroger and did a fantastic job. This feels like a whole foods store now. They have a better selection of organic products than they did before. The store is very well maintained.
The cashier had such great customer service attitude. I will definitely return. Her name was Deshada.
One of the two nicest Krogers Ive ever visited. Its worth a visit just to taste the food they prepare and to eat outside on their patio. Its a fun grocery store.
Perfect place to shop! Nice respectful employees and people! I love it
The best Kroger in the area. The employees are helpful and seem to enjoy helping people, unlike other Kroger locations. Love their selection of both regular and organic/natural products.
Usually go 3-4 times a week for lunch.Soup bar could prolly be turned down a little, its pretty damn hot. I think the chicken noodle broth evaporated one day, there was just noodles, chicken and bits of carrot.
Great selection of foods and associated items. Really looking forward to seeing how things when all the fixtures are in use.
I like this one better than midtown because you can park your car without having a collision. Also while it is busy it isnt uncomfortably crowded. Lots of specialty options.
The absolute worst Kroger I’ve ever been in. Customer service at this location is scant better than Walmart. Much of their produce is sub-par and they are often out of stock or quite low on staple items in brand names you want. I will shop elsewhere every single chance I get.
Staff helpful. Store clean. And great selections of healthy food. Het the Kroger savings card.
One of my favorite Kroger stores. Nice selection & they added the scan & bag feature
For being the only true Grocery store chain option in Shelby county, its an ok store. If you want specialty items or anything extraordinary....you will be disappointed here.
Need more help on the Click list staff. Tried to pick up twice last night and it was backed up with all lanes full. Had to gp back today.
Nicest Kroger anywhere around. Great selection and service with (usually) reasonable prices.
The shelves are usually fully stocked n sales are well displayed. I prefer this location than any other..
They have sweet corn in today. Yummy! Get it today or it will be gone by tomorrow.
The pharmacy staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped me as soon as I came to the pharmacy CASH register. I get all my prescriptions at this Kroger pharmacy.
Love the selection. Just wish you were open later. I work long late hrs . Cannot shop there due to closing time
Nice experience...very friendly staff ...prices is not competitive compared to other groceries.
Im always happy with the freshness of produce and meat quality. Decent price and a clean atmosphere. Click list is helpful and convenient.
HOLY GIANT GROCERY STORE....this Kroger has it all, from a huge organic assortment to every beer imaginable (ok, not EVERY...but I dont drink that much beer, and to me, it seems they have a metric TON)... With a Starbucks in store, a huge cheese/deli section, and the fact that its SPOTLESS...VERY well kept, what not to love? If you have an electric vehicle, you can even charge up there :-)
Picked up my prescription in the pharmacy and stopped by Starbucks for a medicine ball. It really helps with the sinuses.
Its the nicest kroger in the area. Clean well kept. It does sale out many products because they are so busy.
This store is awesome. The employees at this location are always so nice. They usually have what I am looking for.
Great Store. Nice employees. The other Krogers need to learn from this one
Very friendly/helpful staff. My 1st time visiting this particular Store. Ill be back
Its a great grocery store but parking is horrible. Hardly ever can you find a parking spot in the front half of the parking lot. There needs to be more competition in Germantown.
This store is quite large and has many special options including a Corkys BBQ, freshly made flatbread pizzas, a sushi counter, and a specialty cheese shop.It is sometimes hard to find things but the employees are helpful in providing directions. The only kink I have encountered is that on virtually every trip they are out of some item that I need, but I remain hopeful they will get that worked out soon!
You cant find a customer service clerk worse than Mr. Jovunti. The biggest racist I have ever seen in my whole life. Complained about his terrible attitude even when he was in the old Exeter Rd Kroger. As of today, he is still here at this new Kroger doing exactly the same terrible things to the customers.
They didnt bag items i purchased. It would be nice to get home with all my items
I love the handheld scanner that makes the checkout process so much easier!!!
First time I have been to this store. The layout was a lot different from the Kroger I normally visit. I will be returning to this location again.
This is a wonderful Kroger anyway but the people in the floral department went above and beyond to assist us with a large order of flowers for a work celebration event.
My first time visiting Memphis Tennessee, This Kroger has somewhat of a bar inside, a bbq restaurant, and a couple other restaurants inside, very nice store, friendly people.
Very clean with a nice selection of the newest health conscious foods and I feel confident that Im getting the best or a very competitive price on. I really enjoy the vegetarian/vegan options (a couple of isles of these options.) I enjoy seeing the donation that Kroger made to babies/children free books in the Memphis metro area, the Electric Vehicle charge stations, the first to implement the buy online option with curbside pick up, invested into offering a wine selection immediately when this became available and read that Kroger is one of the top IT job providers as well as employing my friends and family at the physical locations. This Kroger does a lot to be more than just a grocery store and the investment into our city is appreciated.
Friendly service, clean environment, almost never a long wait to check out and they usually have whatever Im looking for.
Plan to spend time in here looking at all the have to offer. I love the juicing bar.
Things that were marked as good sales items in the store werent the same price at register. I left them there . Will try another Kroger. Thanks.
Beautiful store. Very nicely set up.
Just tried the new scan bag and go was a lot of fun and very easy
I am in love with the parking lot omg if you are a frequent Kroger shopper you understand my pain lol. This location is so neat and organized as well.
Beautiful store. Wide selection and somewhat prejudiced. My first real part-time job was as a cashier in a new Kroger. Before the days of scanners.
