I had already done my homework and worked out my needs and wants. Z (sales representative) got me a quote that was easily the lowest for the area and she worked with me to keep everything within my budget. When the vehicle arrived on her day off, she came in to make sure everything was good and to hand me the keys. No pressure, no hassle. When I get a new vehicle in the future, I will definitely come here first.
This being my first car purchase, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Chad and Hero were awesome to work with, super friendly, not pushy and communicative each step of the way. Scheduling service was easy and done in a timely manner. When you’re paying >$300 for just standard maintenance I do expect a courtesy car wash and that didn’t happen. This service center is not convenient for me so I will probably look for another place to take my car that’s easier to get to and has the time/staff to wash my car too.

Had tires changed from summer to winter set. Got home missing lug nut insert.Called twice and assured, technicians dont have, Spent hours cleaning car and researching purchase of another one. Next morning got a phone call that I could pick missing item at service desk. Got feeling that my time was not worth anything, and that I was just lucky they found their error.

The team at Tonkin Gladstone Hyundai are pretty decent folk. Mehdi, Dale, and Dane all worked hard to get me a deal I could afford. They worked with my credit union and managed to put a deal together remotely, mostly over text and email! I live in Eugene, my credit union is in Los Angeles, and the car I wanted was in Gladstone, yet somehow they made it work. Kudos to them for pulling it all together.They only get four stars, however, as detail crew needs to up their game. Even after reminding the sales team that I expected the car to be fairly well detailed - having noted some spots they missed during my test drive - I picked up a car that still had sticky stuff on some of the buttons, dust on the dash, and little grains of sand in the holes of the perforated leather seats. The whole ninety-minute drive back to Eugene, I was touching up spots that should have bern touched up before I picked up the car. Every time I’d proudly show my new ride off to a friend or family member, I’m finding yet another spot that got missed. Nothing major, mind you. It was far from filthy, but it wasn’t quite a job well done either. And when did car dealerships stop sending you home with a full tank of gas? A third of a tank? Seriously?But would I buy another car from these guys? Yep. They made the process pretty easy, answered a ton of questions, and I left feeling I got a pretty good deal on a great, if somewhat sticky, ride.
Very clean, very quick, and so great to deal with. I used to have service done at a different Hyundai location and it was always 1.5 hour wait. Now, 45mins or less. From the phone call to make the appointment, to the check-in process, I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. I will continue to do business with Tonkin Gladstone Hyundai.

Bought a Palisade recently. Sale was fine and it went pretty smoothly. Also added a towing package and was told that it would arrive in a few days. It’s now been 3 weeks and they still don’t have the parts and have not been helpful. Missed important vacation opportunities to tow our boat and they obviously didn’t deliver what was promised at point of sale.
John, the service manager provided excellent service with helping resolve a minor issue we had at the service center. We recently purchased a Palisade from this dealership. We are very pleased with the vehicle and the post purchase service we have received at every step. I highly recommend doing business with this dealership!

Excellent and prompt service. They were waiting for us both for our appointment and for our trade in drop off the next day, we did not have to wait a single moment. Relaxed atmosphere, my husband and I were allowed to drive off on our own to get a real experience of a test drive with no pressure. I am from out of town and had scary sounds coming from under the hood as I traveled from palm desert, ca. I called Tonkin Gladstone last minute to see if they could get me in to see what the trouble was. They said they were busy but would fit me in and to come right over. They put the car on the rack and found put that a ball bearing was loose and causing all the noise. They took the tire off and fixed the problem. When I asked how much, I was told no charge. Brought me to tears. Such kindness. Angels show up even at Tonkin Gladstone Hyundai. 💯💢💥👍😉❤

At pick-up my cars Repair Order showed the car was serviced as Hyundai Routine Maintenance but I had requested the 90k interval service maintenance. Service dept & I talked as warranty acceptance, if needed, was in question.The service dept convinced me they would insert into the Repair Order their certified word that the inspections that were done as routine maintenance would be accepted for warranty and were sufficient. Four stars for combination of service level mistake (but reasonably resolved, I believe) & not taking the initiative to clean the massive amount of grasshoppers the drive through car wash couldnt get off. I didnt mention this at drop-off but Ron Tonkin Hyundai Gladstone advertises exceptional customer service.I will probably continue driving to Gladstone Hyundai for my cars needs & Ill remember to be clear about expectations. Hyundai makes an exceptional automobile.

If you want a hassle free experience. Dont go here. We bought a rental car service contract through this same dealership and they are out of rental cars so we had to pay out of pocket $700 to get a rental car for 7 days from another company. This is one of many things going on.
Excellent experience. I had planned to go and view the car but then had to undergo an unexpected surgery and missed my appointment. Will was fantastic and offered to bring the vehicle to our home once I was home in order to make it an easier and convenient experience for me. He brought the car to me, I test drove it, and then that night his finance team sent me the paperwork via email to sign for the car. The other awesome part of it is that we live in Beaverton, so he was willing to drive 40 minutes just to let me test drive it! That whole process took 10 minutes total, in comparison to spending a few hours at the dealership. The next morning Will delivered me my car, walked me through features in my own driveway and away he went. Highly recommend Will and his team at this dealership!

Disgusting service! the check engine light came on. came right away in the morning to check what the problem is. I did not order the apoitment because there was no time for that. but I thought safety was more important. but I was wrong. I was refused even just to check what kind of error it was. referring to the lack of features, although the scan with a scanner works for 1-2 minutes. that is, I have to drive a dangerous car until the appointment is made. I cannot go to other private workshops because the car is on lease. hopefully nothing happens, but just in case I will document my visit.

Really pushy with the financing. When a customer says NO they don’t want to finance with you then leave it at that! I had my own financing that I was happy with and was not interested in going through you.Thanks for leaving the gas tank nearly empty too, that was freaking awesome after just spending your asking price of 29k on a used vehicle that had only been on the lot for a couple days.Definitely will be back the next time I’m purchasing a vehicle…NOT!

This is going to be a little short on detail as I used the auto brokers associated with my credit union (Auto Mentors) to find and deliver my 2022 Kona. That said, Tonkin Gladstone Hyundai had the vehicle at the trim level I desired and the paperwork took less than 10 minutes to complete for the dealer. A seamless experience top to bottom.

The only reason this is getting a five star review is for what David Cobb did for my sister and I during her first time car buying experience. Initially I was going to leave a bad review about how our experience was when it came to finance. David was NEVER a problem very nice very sweet and broke things down to simple terms for my sister as well as explaining in detail what things meant. The finance person we had however did an awful job. When you go to buy a car you should feel like the dealership wants to take care of you and make sure you arent getting screwed over and should bend over backwards to make sure you get the deal you want as well as making sure you are able to leave in the car you wanted! This gentleman however did the opposite so much so that we left the dealership empty handed because everything about the deal felt off and wrong. Not to mention the tone this gentlemen was using made us extremely uncomfortable and quite frankly disgusted with how he convened himself and the dealership.However the shining light here was David. He called me early the next day and apologized again for how the man acted. Agreeing that it was unacceptable, and stating if we still wanted to move forward with the purchase that he would personally deliver the car to our house! After consideration and relooking over some things we decided to move forward with the sale through David. He was truly bending over backwards for us and making sure that everything was perfect. My sister could not be happier with her. David thank you so much again! Highly recommend David!

Service work was good and completed in time expected. Was greeted quickly by the lady at counter and she took my information and I waited then the service writer next to her got off phone and she handed keys to him. I still standing there and then all a sudden she she goes O he will help you. She never said anything after asking my name and why I was there . Did not seem professional or like she cared

This dealer has a smaller showroom as compared to some other dealers. But when it comes to sticking to their promises and honoring advertised rates they are top notch. Unlike some dealers that advertise a price and put extra details in the fine print or dont even put on the fine print, this dealer shows all the details of the deal, you know what you will pay out of pocket.Have used the service department on a warranty issue only once, they were very nice and helpful.Overall a great place to shop for deals on great new cars
I bought my 2020 Tuscan from Gladstone Hyundai back in October and I finally got around to having the Max guard put on. When I initially got it back, it looked like some oil had gotten on the seat and the sealant had been placed over it. I noticed it immediately, and it took me a few days to call and express my concern because I don’t like to be a complainer, but this was just blasting in my face every time I opened the door. I called and spoke with Kaylee (who is amazing at her job and has the kindest, most upbeat attitude). She assured me that it would be resolved and they would make sure knees happy with the end result. I brought it in and the service department got straight to work. Within a couple of hours, the stains were gone and my boy is fresh, clean, and as good as new. It’s very reassuring when you buy from a dealership that stands behind their products and their services. I’m brother is currently in the process of buying a car from them as I write this review. This is at the service department this morning they were fast friendly and had plenty of options for social distancing. Including hand sanitizer which I found refreshing to have available. My car was taken care of quickly and cleaned during the service that was a nice surprise. I will return again thank you for doing such a wonderful job.

I have had a Hyundai for the last 15 to 20 years. Always been extremely happy with the car. I may reconsider what I’m going to get to the next time. I took my car in for its regular oil change and was told the charge would be 60 some dollars. I definitely was taken aback and asked why it doubled from the last time I had an oil change. They said they now combine tire rotation and oil change and charge for both at the same time. I asked him what if I didn’t want my tires rotated and he said I don’t have to have them rotated but they would still have to charge me that fee. After paying and making a decision to go elsewhere for oil changes from now on, they gave me my print out of the receipt. It says right on the receipt “tire rotation if required”. My tires do not need to be rotated every oil change and I should not be being charged for that if I choose not to do it. This is the first time I’ve ever been extremely disappointed with Hyundai. As I said, I will definitely be considering a different car next time. I feel very taken advantage of.

Excellent service, they made it easy and they worked for me to get me into the right car for the right price and helped with every step. Very friendly staff and they even let me use their computer to get my insurance that day. Also the car I bought needed a replacement battery, so instead of sending me home without a ride, they let me use a loaner car until the next day when my car would be ready. This was the quickest and easiest experience buying a car I have ever had. They even made sure I had the right package, letting me know about dents and scratches insurance and a maintenance insurance package that will allow me to take my car to any official Ford dealership in the USA if anything mechanical or engine related needs fixing. And I even got a low interest rate and low monthly payments. I will absolutely be back again. Thank you Tonkin. I love my new car and I am so happy to be back on the road. I had been car shopping for a few weeks and we were not having the best experience to say the least. I had found a car we liked on their website and placed an inquiry. Jennifer called me right away and immediately made me feel comfortable and didnt pressure me on the car answered all my questions and was extremely helpful. We drove down the following morning and while traveling we worked out some details over the phone. When we arrived the car was pulled up and ready for a test drive along with some paperwork already filled out. Jennifer went above and beyond with customer service and Dane in finance made the signing process quick and seamless. They never pressured us and were transparent with all fees and options. We first met Guillermo in 2014, we live two hours from Portland and after disappointing, unfriendly and unwelcoming visits to our local dealerships we decided to take the long drive to the Portland area and fortunately we did! Guillermo guided us during our search with friendliness, professionalism and knowledge. He didnt behave like the proverbial sales shark; he didnt pressure, nor mislead us just to make the sale. He is very knowledgeable about each vehicle and about the financing process. Hes friendly and fun to do business with. We purchased that day and we just recently returned for the seventh time; seventh purchase in as many years! We will NOT go anywhere else, nor will we go to anyone else! With Covid and its safety measures in mind, he was very responsible in maintaining distance while showing us this recent vehicle, he remained masked and was still able to make the purchase seamless, convenient and enjoyable by completing most, if not all of the paperwork remotely. Just bought brand new 2021 palisade limited edition yesterday. the deal was good and salesman service is fantastic. his name is Ali Geramimafi. he is the man! honest and kind !! after I bought my car he set up/register the Hyundai remote app to my cell phone while I waiting. after detail process finished, he came out and explained all the functions and adjusted all the software systems. he stayed with me until 9:30 pm yesterday. i highly recommend him. he is the person.
I bought a used Hyundai Santa Fe this afternoon, and it was the most painless car buying experience I’ve had. Jennifer and David were so helpful.Jennifer took me through most of the process, and she was super kind and easy to work with. She informed me of all my available upgrades and options but never pushed or made me feel at all uncomfortable, and as someone like me who is easily pushed around in situations like this, I was extremely grateful for her style. There was no mystery, and I appreciated not being surprised by anything.I ultimately turned down an extended warranty, but I was offered a good deal on it, and there was no argument or pressure when I declined.The finance manager was also great, and Juan did a lovely job getting the car ready for me while we were finalizing everything. All around wonderful experience!
Called to have a Mirror Assembly replaced. Ordered the part on Monday, part was in by Wednesday was able to go in on Thursday to have it put it. Took less than 20minutes in late afternoon, so really appreciate their politeness and consideration of my time.

Got a Kona EV from here. The sales process was so so with some negotiating. I got an email from Hyundai Motors about a collaboration with Electrify America and a free credit. I called the 1800 hyundai support and got no where. They pointed me to the dealer, where they had no idea and I left a voicemail never to be called back. A few weeks later someone called me about a software update, and I asked about the promo again and was forwarded to a voicemail, which i left, and have never been called back. At another point, after I had purchased, i emailed my sales rep for a quote for a friend and never heard back. Overall, unimpressed. My friend who purchased at gladstone salem seems much more happy with their service, and got an offer for discounted car detailing as part of the package which seemed pretty nice (I inquired at gladstone, and they didnt offer it.)

Wonderful experience! Smooth, easy process, professional, communicative staff. They did a multi point check just to make sure everything else looked good (it did). They didnt have to do this and I was grateful they did. They arranged a shuttle for me to be taken to/from the house. Was grateful to be the only one being transported. The work was done quickly and they even gave me a free car wash after. Thrilled with the experience!

Preston found the ideal 2nd car I had in mind in fantastic condition and went the extra mile in every way to make sure that not only was the transmission and many parts in nearly new condition but had the car detailed, serviced, touched up, filled up, topped off and in perfect condition so when I traveled from out of town to pick it up the truck was better than expected in every possible way.
