Honestly, she is the reason I passed state board practicals! I received more instruction and help from Givani than I did from the school I graduated from! Her kit was 100% perfectly complete! Very reasonable in price. This is the only way to go, I would recommend this kit company to anyone and everyone!!

Just used this company for my esthetician practical and it was great. They went over the entire kit with me beforehand...I had plenty of supplies. No issues at all.

I cannot thank Joanna from California Kits enough for her kit, video, and all of her extra help passing the practical. Between going to school out of state and not being about to practice in over a year due to Covid, I had pages of questions for her when I showed up. She went so above and beyond to help me feel prepared, and I passed! If I could give her a hug and 10 stars, I would.

Just called to ask for information and an older lady answered the phone. It was probably the same lady that a month ago sold me a tripod for $150 dollars. I had previously bought a tripod for my first examination. It was like I was asking it for free, she gave it to me in a bad way And got upset because my card was not going through. This time I called to get information in regards to classes and to rent a kit, apparently classes are complementary when you buy a kit from them. She proceeded to guide me to buy the video instead, she even raised her voice at me, when I asked more questions. I told her there’s no need to do that to which she replied“Thats the way I talk” she did not answer any of my questions or helped me.Very poor customer service .

My curling iron kept turning off and on so it never got hot enough, it was kind of warm to atleast somewhat do a curl and not completely fail the whole curling portion, made me extremely frustrated for something to already go wrong when the curling portion is the first service you do on the mannequin. Also suggest bringing your own acrilyc brush and shears the ones provided seem like it came from dollar tree they werent even shears just cheap regular scissors. If you guys are taking your state board during coronavirus and go to their demo make sure to try and sit in the front they talk extremely low ontop of having a mask on and can barely hear them ontop of the traffic noises outside.

I recently went to California supreme Kit to rent a kit for my Manicurist practical exam. The day of my exam i went in the store and got my rental kit (that i had reserved by phone) The owner (I believe) I didn’t get her name, went over everything in my kit. She also has a mock station set up in the back so you could see what your actual practical exam will consist of. After going over the items in my kit, she also played a DETAILED video of each and every step for the manicurist practical exam. The kit was essential in me passing. Everything is set up for you, and in the order you will need it. Needles to say I PASSED my practical exam and I definitely owe some of that to California supreme kit. That video was definitely a nice refresher right before I had to go and take my test. After your test is over you just drop off your kit right back to the store which just happens to be walking distance from Stateboard building. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to take their stateboard test. Also, I want to add the price is super reasonable! Other places were selling kits not renting for $65-85 and it was for something I wouldn’t want to Keep or need after my test. $45 for a rental and everything is set up and ready to go including the mannequin hand with tips already on it, definitely worth it.

I am so grateful for this place and the staff. They offer free classes on step by step practical procedure when you purchase the rental for State Board! I went to go watch this step by step three times before my exam and it helped me so much!!!! I was so confident walking in that practical room! I will definitely recommend this place! I got my cosmetology license!

I got my state board kit through California Supreme kit company, and honestly, I am so thankful I did. You show up to pick up your kit an hour prior to taking your exam, and they walk through literally every procedure. It really relieves the pressure and makes you feel a lot more at ease. The kit itself it labeled to the t and everything is put in there in the order that you need it. it makes the whole test SO EASY. I strongly recommend getting your state board kit here!

Their demonstration helped me pass my test! I bought the video so I wouldnt have to drive up to Glendale again until my test date. I passed and I believe it was thanks to their professional kit and studying their demonstration of the practical.

Great place to get your kit. The Kitsap is organized well and the owner has classes and goes over the kit with you before your practical. She also have plaques for purchase after you get your license.

After a night of no sleep because I had to stay at my sisters place who’s roommate was playing the loudest Indian music til 3AM, everything possible going wrong that morning, almost being late to my exam I went to this place being thankful AT LEAST my kit would be taken care of for me. I went and took my written exam which was a breeze. Then the practical started and guess what? This place FORGOT SO MANY ITEMS in my kit. ALWAYS DOUBLE or TRIPLE CHECK because I almost failed my practical because of this!!! Get there an hour or two before hand so you can check everything at least twice. Have a list WITH you of everything you will need to take your exam. It’s already hard enough and scary enough to have to go and perform in front of rude examiners. To have to deal with items missing from the kit is unacceptable.

I called to cancel my kit and to get my money back. They told me they offer no refunds just credit. She never said to me that there was no refund offered if I were to cancel. She was very rude and decided to hang up on me.

It was the best they are extremely helpful. ..and they gave me a kit at the last minute. ..everything is included and they went over the practical to refresh your mind

In my experience, the truth was not pleasant at all. First of all, I did not like the way Joana treats people, she has a rude and not very professional way of treating people, I rented my barber kit there and when I arrived I asked her to borrow her bathroom. because there was a lot of urgency and need to use it at that time. And he told me that where the exam was going to be there was a bathroom, that there I could use it uff I felt terrible because there were more people there and I was a customer there. Because they were too big, my hand is small and she made me medium, I got frustrated a lot because it was difficult for me to unravel my operations because they fell off and they stuck in my curlers, she didnt put combs to untangle, I had to do it with those with colita and That took me time, the bag to put the towels, I also took time in having to be opening and closing and they only give 2 minutes to remove the used and fix the table aubque in his video that is worth $ 30 and that it does not do anything professional says that when you finish each operation you lift everything but it is not like that you have to lift everything at the end the instructor tells you to remove what you used and place the operation that continues. Well I speak of barber of the other I do not know how it will be, I only share my experience without hurting or wanting to harm anyone, it was what I lived, I personally and it is my point of view.
