Definitely had a variety of items. Didnt have hard binders, which is what I was looking for 😢. Also very few organization bins. They even had pedigree brand dog food. Lots of crafts and party supplies. Variety of flowers and vases along with scrap booking items and some signs, which I had not seen in other stores. I didnt know they had this location in la cañada, I usually go to the one they have at Glendale.

Good selection.. always low prices.. every item is just $1.30

Everytime I go, there is a sign stating from this date on prices will be higher. Its not 99 cent store each item either $1.51, $2 or up. Change the store name or sell items as $0.99. This was my last trip and no wonder its like a ghost store..

This is the best dollar store Ive been to. Everything is well organized, and they always have their items in stock. WAY better than Dollar Tree.

This place is AMAZING! They have last minute stuff you need for parties, such as balloons, cards, wrappers, candy etc. I love everything about this place because one, its ONE DOLLAR for ONE and ANY item. This place is always organized. They have anything you need. Since it is up my street I am here pretty often. The staff is great and they are always willing to help their customers.

Gotta admit they have some good finds. I enjoy coming here for art and craft supplies. Makes it way cheaper than going to one of the fancy art stores. They even have large stretched canvases right now, which is nice! This is always a great place to pick up decorations for every holiday. Although the prices have gone up and I am sure will continue to rise, its one if my favorite places to shop. And its still a ton cheaper than large dept. stores.

I dont know what the guy who said their selection is lacking was looking for, but this is one of my favorite dollar stores, they have new and cool stuff EVERY WEEK, so I come here every time Im in Tujunga/Flintridge. Some examples of scores; hair cape (bib for eating in car) sunglasses, reading glasses, cell phone cases, metal wallets, Bells (for grandma to signal she needs help), Keychains galore, cellphone chargers, cables, spun polyester hats that weigh 1 ounce and breathe, (new addiction! sarcasm-less thanks for introducing me to such great hats!) ID badge retractable leash pins, excellent craft supply section (teacher discount), plastic bbs for toy guns, helium balloons, diet mountain dew, belts, nylons, scarves, kitchen stuff, BAGS!! LOTS of small medium and big bags to organize yourself, got 3 nice black bags that convert into Backpacks(for $1.11! each!(!)), clear plastic bags, small multicolored (solid colors, each bag choice of red, blue, purple, green etc), big cosmetic selection, party favors, gift bags, hardware including various audio and video cables, this is one of my top 5 dollar stores, I once even drove from TORRANCE TO TUJUNGA just to come here, so that tells you something... Also on foothill bl, 2 other also great dollar stores to the west. NOT including dollar general, those are good, but like most chains, have the same merch as any other. One next to smart n final, one semi-hidden juuust West of Commerce bl & foothill next to dominoes pizza.

They always have some really good deals on things that would cost in the 5 to 7 dollar range. There prices areGoing up in November but I believe it will still be worthwhile to shop there. I have got some incredible dealsShopping at Dollar King and I tell my friends you gotta stop by.

My go to place to find everything I need for whatever I might be planning.....expect to walk out with more than you planned to buy....this store is clean and airy....the manager is wonderful....she is friendly and wants to hear any concerns that you might have......definitely stop by and have fun

Cant believe it, but their Halloween selection is awesome. I was also looking for twine and they have it 😊I didnt have to go to Michaels and pay a fortune. Def a place to go for crafts, party decor, and seasonal home decor.

They have better quality selections than the regular dollar stores. I gave it 4 stars because theyre not quite a dollar store everything is $1.20 + tax and that can easily add up.

I gave all stars cuz they always have good stuff. But I will say the price increases always make me feel weird. 1.11 to 1.21. its a leap that worries me because one day the name will be $2 king. And thats not as easy flowing as dollar king.

Loved the acrylic paint selection and the toys for my grand nephews and niece.

Good addition to the area. The selection of merchandise is great. Parking can be tricky, it is a small strip mall and the few parking spaces are shared with four other businesses.

Many desirable and interesting items that you cant find in a regular dollar store. They charge $1.11 for each item but many times I find it is worthwhile to shop there.

WOW. Where do I begin? Oh yeah:A WHOLE ROOM FOR BEAUTY PRODUCTS?! I was just hoping to find a powder in my shade, because my luck with makeup at other Dollar stores has always been rare.. And not only did they have everything I looked for, but I had to choose from a wide selection of brands and variations!The whole store feels that accommodating too; I just have to point out the cosmetic section because you absolutely will NOT find anything like this anywhere else. Period.Im sooo happy this shop is in my neighborhood because I buy everything here! Office supplies, candles, cleaning and organizing supplies...And yet somehow everything stays fully stocked and impressively tidy! I dont even get it haha.OH and the arts and crafts aisles (yes, plural!) are incredible and will keep me out of Michaels and Joanns for as long as I can foresee 😝Check it out!

Good place to go shopping even if you have little money.

Everything from fake-fruit, flowers, to Sweet tea. $12 acrylic and watercolor set at the low cost of $1,11the current value of the day.

This had quite a bit of elevation change and there wasnt much shade and no water but there is water if your hiking at the right time of year there were some interesting rock formations and some bubbling oil pits

Awesome deals for $1.11. A lot smaller than your typical 99 cent store; however, they have a larger variety of items, including a lot of makeup.

I try my hardest to come here only if I know I have an hour to spend. Not because its far, but because thats how long I spend in ONE aisle. The office supply/craft section is kinds like Michaels dollar bins on steroids. I was here a few days ago and they had the cutest variety of double sided embossed scrapbook paper. Every big, wooden letter of the alphabet. Lots of storage containers, boxes, bottles, and bags from teeny to huge. Styrofoam balls in various sizes (you would be surprised at how expensive they usually are)Acrylic paints, brushes, chalk board markers in 10 different colors, sequins, glitter, glitter stickers, puffy stickers, handmade paper stickers, chalk and cork stickers, sticker paper SHEETS, and more. Its not the cheapy stuff either. one of the main brands is forever in time and craft medley I believe. The makeup aisle is pretty large, too. Although I prefer the Sunland location for makeup even though its a smaller aisle, theres better options. But this is way better on the craft end side.

Parking can be tricky but it is well worth it this place has exclusive selection of products I have not seen at any other 99 cent store

This place is ok. I buy some things every time I go in there. I would have given it another star but..........the music in this place is just awful and way too loud.
