I drove all the way to Goldsboro on Memorial Day so I can support the remodeling opening. I wanted to buy a few pairs of Jordans & was excited to use the 20% in store coupon. The workers get thumbs down. One worker made me wait 11 minutes before he went to get the shoe after he finished hanging random things on different racks and then he took 7minutes to come from the back with the shoes which was the wrong size. While I was waiting for that guy the other guy who helped me with the first shoe kept telling me I can check out at the register like 3 times. I kept saying Im waiting for another shoe the guy got lost. He proceeded to not go look for his coworker but to continue talking to his other coworker about a girl dumping a guy via text. So finally after 20+minutes I get the other pair of shoes and Im so ready to leave the store. I check out and ask the lady cashier can I use the 20% off ànd I wanted to make a seperate purchase since one pair of sneakers was a gift for someone. She then waited until after I paid for the 1st purchase to tell me that she cant do the 20%,off for my next purchase. I was so mad at the level of non care and unprofessional way I was treated. She could have told me when I said separate purchase that I wont be able to use 20% twice and I would have combined my purchases. I will never go back to that store or recommend it to any of my friends. The store remodel looks great but the workers lack of customer care Made it an ugly experience. I was so bothered I returned the shoes when I got back to my city and. Ordered them online from somewhere else. I like Hibbett but the Goldsboro store was such a disappointment. I waisted my gas and my time.
They are horrible with handling the tracking of the orders from this store. I waited a month for a pair of shoes that I never received. I then went to the store to get no further assistance with my issue. Come to find out the warehouse had canceled my order without even notifying me, and I have yet to get my money or shoes. Don’t order from them unless it’s getting sent directly to the store, otherwise you’ll go threw he** trying to get a refund smfh
In store, they are perfect. However, due to this pandemic, I’ve been shopping online. I ordered nearly $250 worth last month. Half my order came and half didn’t. I had to call and wait for an hour and forty-five to speak with customer just for them to cancel it. I order them order an outfit recently for Father’s Day, and his pants got canceled. I haven’t had word on if they will refund me or not, but it makes me upset that this has happened twice. I will no longer order online unless I know I can order and pick up in my local store. I only gave them three stars, because they don’t fail me in store.
Some of the employees are racist! I was told I could not return or exchange a pair of shoes here because I didnt not have the receipt. Im willing to be 100% my race played a part in there decision. The return policy clearly states that you can return without a receipt, but I was not allowed to!
Excellent Customer Service! Asst Coach Dave went over and above in helping us find the right pair of cleats with the best fit. After checking other stores (mostly in order to avoid the mall) and not having any luck or much help, I called Hibbett to ask if they had any in the size we needed - Dave very kindly checked the stock room until he found an option for us, and held it for us until we got there. When we got to the store, Dave helped us, made sure we had a good fit, gave us some advice, and even showed us the clearance sale so we got a second pair of shoes at a great price! With all of the new sports stores in town, we will definitely continue to go to Hibbett Sports - Thanks to Dave!
