Employees seem nice enough, the store seems a little disorganized in some areas though. Went to use the bathroom and the women’s bathroom was DISGUSTING!!!! Mold rings around both toilet bowls, didn’t seem like either stall had been cleaned in I don’t know how long. The toilet seats had what I assume to be urine or feces residue on them. I decided to go elsewhere rather than potentially catching a disease. Disgusting. Wish I would have taken photos to post.
Karen is amazing and patient. She helped with with printing services. Thank you again for all your help! :)
Just left staples in Grandville MI, where I was helped by Karen. Pretty sure shes my best friend now. All she did was help me mail a package... But there was a definite mom connection there. Amazing customer service!
Absolutely incredible service from Staples in general, not just (but definitely including) this store. Solid store layout, they always seem to have stuff I need but dont expect them to carry, in-store pickup is easy as cake if you order online (so you dont even have to hunt the item down), and they send you a lot of good deals through the email if you sign up. If you go for delivery instead of in-store pickup, its often free and always seems to be much quicker than I expect it to be (especially compared to everyone else right now, Amazons taking like 3-6 weeks for some of my orders). I dont think Ive had a single even mediocre experience buying from Staples, its always excellent.
They do in fact sell staples. I was very pleased with the quality of the staples I bought.
Just had Karen Kline help me with scanning and copies. We are both Northview Wildcats, so that was nice. She is the friendliest, smartest person ever! Made me feel like a very important customer!
I stopped in Saturday to quickly get a last minute item printed for a wedding that day. McKenzie promptly helped me and was so kind while doing so. I will bring all future printing needs back to this location as it was made so easy!
I just called to get email address to send info to get copies and was told they dont like to take email orders for print. I have used staples many times over the years and had preferred the over the other. BUT in todays world you need to accept emails. Basic printing needs should not be a problem. So I guess I will have to go else where. I am so disappointed
Where do I even begin! They charged me $60 for my print order to go to their design team. They messed it up, back to them it went 🤔. Then when I give final approval and verified for the third time the quantity and the paper quality, My husband goes to pick them up and they printed them (Christmas Cards) on printer paper. So NOW in order NOT to wait another week, we must get them printed in store which means they wont be done the way I wanted them which is why they went to the design team in the first place. I will NEVER use them again and I will tell as many people as I can not to use them. Ill update this review if I dont get some financial compensation! Update: They did refund some of the over $300 that I spent. Didnt apologize or offer to make it right, but they did give back around 30% back. I still will not use them again.
The staff I encountered at the store were very nice and helpful. Unfortunately the online ordering of Christmas cards was less than nice or helpful. The website did not allow me to drop photos onto the card after uploading them . When using the help icon to try and figure out how to do it, it just showed me exactly the way I was trying to do it. I was more successful on my phone and was able to finish the ordering on my laptop. The website however kept gliching and did not save all my changes that I made with the card. When I went to pick up my cards the name on the back was not my own name but the names given in the original template. They said they would fix it and I would just need to come back to pick them up. I called the next morning to see if they were ready and had the most unusual conversation with the manager. After asking the girl who answered the phone if my order was ready and I informed her of the snafu from the previous day she put her manager on the phone. He informed me that it was my error and Staples was not liable for online orders that got mixed up. They were very busy and behind on orders so I would need to re-order and pay again for my prints. I was taken aback, so I just asked if I could take the prints with the wrong name and I would be fine. So he checked to see if they still had them. He gets back on the phone and tells me they have cards with the name Megan on the back. I say- perfect that is what I wanted on them in the 1st place and I was simply calling to see if they were ready. He says- well yes they are here.Ummmmm, why did I have to get the 3rd degree??? I was not upset during the mix up but after speaking with the manager for no apparent reason, I was very upset !
Worked all afternoon on a poster project for work and when I took it to Staples to have it laminated, it was destroyed. Creased and folded and absolutely unusable. That’s time and money I won’t get back.. I don’t know that I feel comfortable having them laminate a second one.
I had never been into this particular Staples location until yesterday. Walking in and past several associates there was no interaction at all initiated by any staff. I can understand this when the store is busy. The store was NOT busy by any standards. After navigating the atrocious walkway to get to the product we came in to look for we were disappointed to find out that it isnt available in store at this location. To be fair, I dont shop at Staples often. So I approached a staff member who didnt let me finish my question to him before he began to speak into his microphone to ask another associate to come and help me. After waiting too long I finally noticed the in store computer right behind where I was standing (the associate didnt bother to mention that I could look there or perhaps walk me to the kiosk) and I was actually able to find the answer to my question before the other associate ever arrived. My wife and I were actually leaving when the second associate approached and asked what we needed. Not wanting to be rude we explained what we were looking for. He proceeded to look on the same kiosk I had just found the answer on and after one attempt of searching (with incorrect spelling, which is why it yielded no intended results) flatly told us that they couldnt get what we were looking for. I already found that they could in fact get exactly what I was looking for. However, I will not ever purchase anything from this store and its unlikely I will ever support Staples with my business again. This store is a shining example of why retail stores are failing miserably. Filthy everything, staff who could not care less if they tried, disgusting experience. Shame.
Helpful guy at customer service. Appreciate Customer services. He knew exactly where products I needed were and was good natured and helpful!
Jacob went over and above in helping me find what I needed. Thanks again Jacob! I always have a good experience at Staples!
Was over charged in the print & copy section. Didnt receive the money I am owed
Got a call my print order was ready. It wasn’t. Was missing a document, and the one done had a black smudge laminated onto it. Been waiting here for 30 minutes for it to get fixed. I don’t usually write reviews, but I’m super bored. And hungry.
I came in to pick up an online order and bought a few more impulse items. The service was warm and friendly as always.
Ive received a lot of great help from staff at this particular Staples during previous visits, but this morning I stopped in to have a project bound for a final exam, only to be told it would take 6 hours for them to do it. Note, the gal said they were extremely busy with other orders, but the counter didnt look busy to me at all. On previous trips, binding took less than 5 minutes. So I took my project down the road to OfficeMax instead, and voila! Bound in 3 minutes. I think I know where Ill be doing my business from now on.
Helpful friendly staff, found me what I needed and ordered the rest of the materials I needed that they did not stock with free 2 day delivery.
Its an office supply store. Its not an exciting place. Unfortunately they have implemented a lot of processes which slow down checkout and make visiting the store less convenient than it should be.
Horrible copy and print service. They have no clue what they are doing. Bad experience once, figured hey it happens people get busy. Gave them another chance, even worse experience. They even changed my files that I had printed!!!!!! I had all the images mirrored and didnt realize they had changed it until I was home starting my project. I just looked too, the images in the files are ALL mirrored and that exactly how I sent them in. I would post images but my kids are in the pictures.
Easily copy, print, shop, and just about everything you need. Easy to park & get in & out when in a hurry.
The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful during my visit. Additionally, the store was tidy and organized making it easy to find all of my needs.
Beautiful building but I got a weird vibe like the office paper section was haunted
Jason and Kyle helped me with multiple new purchases this last year. (Work)And recently on my personal computer having a virus.Always helpful, polite, and knowledgable. Thanks!!!
Thanks. The staff couldnt have been more helpful. They were great. Made my experience a shorter trip because of all their help.
People on the printing side are very friendly and helpful.
Found everything I needed. Employees seems to enjoy their job.
I went to this store in person, it took an hour and a half for the person who attended me to make an order for a foil print monogram which is not what im complaining about. I called today (6 days later) to know the status of the order only to be told that the order was never placed. I needed these for my wedding invitations which needed to be sent out when the monograms arrived. Now, 6 days have been wasted and I have to make a complete new order because it is nowhere to be found. It is upsetting since no additional effort was taken to solve the situation and time for this is very valuable. I dont mind spending hours on doing something that shows results. Yet, taking 2 hours to do something for one of the most important events in my life, when i have a baby to attend to, breast feed etc and having the stores personnel simply state that the person who took that order was covering and isnt from that store as an answer, tells me that they dont care for their customers needs. The least i expected was to show some compassion and complete willingness to at least re-take my order, pretty basic if you ask me .
My Local Staples -- good office supply store.
Delicious. Best staples ive ever tasted!
Very friendly, helpful staff. There the best.
Theyre always so helpful.
The cashier laughed at me when I asked about a certain product. I described to him what I was looking for and he responded “hah, I have no idea what you’re talking about. Did you check this section?”Uh. Yeah. I did that’s why I’m asking you for further help. I gave up on that, and went to pay because I was in a time crunch. What the heck is going on here?
The employees were super helpful and extremely kind.
Our first stop for back to school shopping. Had most of the supplies needed for the school year, and not nearly as crowded and chaotic as other places.
Good selection of office supplies.
Worst customer service ever. Order online for in store pickup. There was no customers at the order pickup desk and the 2 customer service reps had their back to me talking and did not even ask to help me. This went on for 5 mins before I said something. Then I had to wait another 20-30 mins. for them to locate the item and bring it all the way up from the back store room. Then when I went up to the register again to pay for another item the cashier tried to charge me again and at a higher price for the item I purchased online and already paid for, while the receipt for that item was sitting with it. Then when I tried to explain all this to the store manager he had the nerve to yell at me and tell me that everything was my fault and I had no right saying anything about his workers mistakes in handling a customer.
Very poor service from the print center. Emailed order with no confirmation call and took all day to print one item.
Friendly and fast thank you!
Easy to find what you are looking for.
Looking for calander that was online at staples in granville.
Print and copy center is handy.
Shelves were sparse. Few employees to assist. Not the type of great sales theyve had in the past. Sad,...
Nice store, great service!!
Bought an HP laptop from Staples in Grandville in April 2012. Had nothing but trouble with it and got NO help in any way from Staples. My advice...dont buy anything from them.
Twice I have used the printing services for business purposes. Each time my order was promised before an event only to come in and the order not even begun.
Salesperson very friendly and directed to the item needed!
Staff was very helpful
A bit more expensive than OfficeMax but the got my print job done in an hour when OfficeMax said it would take two days.
Good for printing services
It was what one would expect from a staples
Not too helpful today
Gets worse every visit
Awesome
