The place is super cute, and a lot bigger on the inside and the menu is pretty good. The have breakfast 8-2, and lunch is at 11, and the coffee and drinks are good. I got a lemonade and it was tart which is nice. There is also outdoor seating too. The staff is friendly and there are restrooms inside as well :)

This is definitely a hidden gem in Greendale. I had no idea they served breakfast and lunch. Finally stopped in for lunch and Im making for lost time. The food is fresh and homemade. You wont be disappointed. Definitely get a sweet treat while you are there!

1st time coming here and it sure wont be the last! I was sick of going to the chain restaurants for lunch and wanted to try something more local. I had the B.L.A.T....sooo good!!! The bread was amazing. I also had to try a bakery item, which was hard to choose from. I went with the chocolate peanut butter cookie....it was AMAZING!!!

I love to stop here for a treat or a meal. The coffee and espresso drinks are excellent. There are no shortage of cookies and other baked goods to choose from - my favorite is the chocolate chunk. Its fun to watch the cookie decorating through their glass wall into the decorating room. They offer a different soup each day. I like to take it home by the quart and pair with a loaf of their sunflower oat bread. The rest of the menu is delicious too. The owners are wonderful and take great pride in their beautiful cafe. One of the best shops in downtown Greendale!

Delicious baked goods! Chicken club sandwich was juicy, and the fresh baked bread was yummy! Though a bit pricey, I would say its worth a try. The shop is really quaint and cute. A nice atmosphere to hang out or go on a relaxed date. Would recommend to give it a try.

Absolutely, hands-down the best cafe and cookie shop in Wisconsin. From the delicious from-scratch food to the to-die-for cookies to the perfectly prepared coffees. Karen, George and their staff are always welcoming and kind and never intrusive. The more I go, the more I love it!

They serve breakfast and lunch, with a small limited menu for both. Prices are mid range but a little pricey for what you get. The chicken club sandwich was $9 and was supposed to come with homemade chips, it did not. (I forgot to ask, though)The chicken was a little on the dry side. I am hoping she will change up the menu with the seasons.The soup was very tasty. The bread for the sandwich was theirs and it was tender, had great flavor and held up to the big sandwich. The eggs that we ordered were cooked perfectly, nice crisp bacon and potatoes. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Limited seating, not ideal for big parties. Cute area with comfy lounge like couches. She has the best cookies in the city! I am glad she is branching out, however it still needs a little tweaking on the actual cooking side. Extremely friendly people. Her ginger crisps, her brown butter almond cookies, the chocolate peanut butter cookies, her original chocolate chip crisp, pretty much all of her bakery is the best!

I love trying local quaint bakeries especially during quarantine! Tried Sugar & Flour because it was close by and the menu looked liked they offered great variety. I purchased some breakfast food and coffee and it was delicious. They offered unique syrups to add in that was wonderful. Only wish I would have bought some bakery to try but I will definitely be back to try some !

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a whim the other day. We ordered the pot roast sandwiches and some cookies.Overall it was a great experience, the food was delicious and the cookies were great.We live in Greendale and are sad we did not find this place sooner! We will be back!!2021 update:We have been stopping in for breakfast and it is phenomenal.The atmosphere is friendly, the staff is great, and it is just awesome.I tried the hot chocolate for the first time, with vanilla added, wow what an awesome hot chocolate. Most places treat hot chocolate as a 2nd class drink, but I will be back JUST for hot chocolate.Im glad to have this business in Greendale!

Love everything they make. Our kid is a huge fan of their sigar cookies.Theu change the theme of their cookies at least every week ans always have seasonal fun cookies.I only wish they were open on Sundays.

Overall the experience was pleasant. The drinks are good and there snacks are excellent. Other then the bad echo in this place the only complaint I have is the floors were not swept and there were crumbs near our table and in other parts of the store (on the floor). If they can be more tidy I could see this being a 5 start location!

A friend of mine suggested meeting for lunch at Sugar & Flour. I walked into the cafe and a young woman dressed in a black and white top was standing behind the counter she didnt acknowledge m . I had to say hello to her. She looked like she was bored and gave me the the impression that it was an effort to say hello to me. This is the faces of your business? I ordered the quiche which was far at best. My friend said she had the avocado grilled cheese but that it wasnt as good as it was the first time she had it. My friend agreed with me that the girl behind the counter could be a little more welcoming to customers even though your cookies get rave reviews, they arent really anything unique or outstanding. Sorry- but I wont be back to your cafe. Lastly, you might want to consider finding someone who greets customers and at lear appears interested in engaging with customers and making customers feel welcome.

I initially found them on Etsy but was pleasantly surprised to see they were local. They did a great job and a quick turn around on some special cookies for my boyfriends birthday. Not only were they adorable, but they were really good! They all came individually wrapped which helped to be sure the icing didnt smear between cookies in transport. Their prices are fair and they do great work.

One of my favorite cafés! Sugar and Flour is the best place to grab a bite and a dessert in Greendale and the surrounding area! The selection of coffee and tea is also fantastic. Did I mention the baked goods are absolutely phenomenal?!

Their bakery items are great. Cookies are delicious. Cafe items havent wowed me yet, but its still fairly new. Try the chocolate peanut butter cookie or the award winning pinwheels if they are available.

The cookies are amazing I go there every week to see my mom-the owner every one there makes everyone fell like welcome. I think it is a good place to study right after school. They have yummy food the owner think of everyone. She make sure the orders are on time every one is very organized. I think you should stop there next time you are in greendale

Great cookies and coffee. The molasses cookies are incredible. So are the others from the frosted sugar cookies to the chocolate chip/brownie combination. This is the first time I had a fresh marshmallow. Have not tried the cafe food yet, but looking forward to it.

My daughter and I were in town and stopped to get a goody, as I walked in the smell was absolutely yummy. It reminded me of when I was small walking into a candy shop for the first time. There were so many goodies to choose from, it was hard to decide which ones to try. We ended with a box of several different kinds. My husband, myself and my daughter loved every single One! They were all delicious. And they also have every kind if sugar cookie you could possibly think of. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping in and getting a or some yummy cookies/goodies and maybe a hot tea or coffee. You will love it!

This restaurant/bakery has tons of potential, however, fell short in some ways.In the restaurant, when we arrived, there were four ladies at a table. We got our food, and the ladies began a conference call at their table. They put a cellphone on speaker, and all four of them commenced to have a long, loud conversation with the caller. I went up to the counter indicating that we couldnt have a conversation at our table, and I was told that the ladies were regulars, thus, the problem wouldnt be addressed. I stressed that we were new customers, and the activity was very distracting, but again, was told that there was nothing that would be done, even in the future, to prevent that kind of occurrence.The food was okay. The bakery looked fantastic, but when I went up to order, there was only one person handling the food and bakery orders, and there were two people standing in line. I left without any bakery.Needless to say, were not going back.

Sugar & Flour has the yummiest assortment of cookies. We love to stop in after school for a sweet treat. My 3 year old left his favorite stuffed zebra there one time and we didnt realize it till bedtime. I retraced our steps back to the bakery where his stuffed zebra sat propped up on the counter. They were so kind to put him up so we could see him and let us come early the next morning to pick him up. We joked that they were there early baking more cookies because his zebra had eaten them all during his sleepover.

Great little local coffee shop with a yummy selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches and bakery items. I tried the whisky expresso (non-alcoholic) and its excellent. Prices are fair without the mark-up you see at small businesses.

Its no surprise that Sugar & Flour won the JSOnline (professional division) holiday cookie contest three years in a row. They make some of the best cookies in the city, and do it with consistency. The shop is in the heart of Greendales village, and worth the stop. They usually have around 12-15 options for sale,at the counter, but S&F also makes sugar cookies by the dozen, brownies, and so much more. If you place a custom order, you will not be disappointed. Great people, great cookies. Who could ask for more?
