My first time visiting and the staff is so friendly. I don’t know much about wine but they were able to find me one that is sweet and strong. I even signed up for their reward program.

Excellent customer service...which is a rarity these days. Showed them a pic of what I was looking for and they took me right to it.

I went in on 4th of July (Ill give them a break on a holiday), but the beer cooler was broken, the place was a mess - just not a pleasant shopping experience this time. In the past it has been better, but on the 4th it wasnt good.

An amazing array of wine and beer with a helpful, knowledgeable staff. The parking lot is strange, but my main reservation behind not granting the fifth star is that they too frequently dont provide objective evaluations of the wines they offer. One person cant know all the wines and the evaluations of experts can help a customer avoid a bad purchase.

My visit was more than pleasant. The supervisor Justin Routh was very friendly and knowledgeable. He taught me about alcohol percentages and even how it affects men and women differently. He explained how the wine would affect me compared to other wines and liquors and even assisted me in selecting the perfect wine based on what i am cooking tonight. I was so enthralled in the lesson i had spent over 30 minutes in the store just learning. It was an amazing experience and Im going back just because of employees like him.

Well a few years ago I had a bad experience at their wine tasting, the gentleman was allowing a lady to taste, and refused to allow me to taste.When I mentioned it to the store manager he stated she had a special order, well for that matter I could have had a special order as well. Bad taste for customer service. OK so today, another BAD experience, I am a woman of color and I again walked to the wine tasting counter, the lady was helping a gentleman (white) it took her over a minute to acknowledge me. So when he walked off she looks at me, not happybut begrudgingly, and says what do you like? I stated I came to taste, she poured me a taste, I drank it. A white lady walks up she starts a conversation with her and completely treats me as if I am not there. I walked off and as I was leaving the store, I refused to spend my moneythere a lady at the customer service counter said did you receive any help? I responded by saying an employee in your store needs sensitivity training. I explained to her what happened and I could tell she was sad, and she said what can I do? I responded sensitivity training. I do not expect a lot and never want or need preferential treatment but I am NOT going to spend my money in a store that treats me badly without respect. I went to Food Lion and paid $5 MORE for a bottle of Josh and was happy to do it. I was there 1/31/20 around 6pm.

I tried curbside pickup today for the first time. I chose delivery my last order. Anyway, it was well marked, organized, and efficient. I tried to tip Mariann, who thankfully wore a mask, and carefully placed my order in my trunk, but she explained that she was not allowed to accept tips. Ordered a keg for a birthday party over a week in advance. I was told it would be ready for pickup the following Friday, no problem. Called in to check if its ready and they said dont have it and theres nothing they can do. There was never a guarantee it would be ready in time. Didnt offer any alternative solutions or feel like contacting me when they knew it wouldnt be ready in time. Awful customer service!

Having been to wine tastings before, and I was looking for a specific flavor and taste for a wine and cheese party, the young man who started out with us was very informative and helpful. It wasnt until a shift change and a young lady took over and insinuated that we may have had too much and there was a limit to tasting. I was asking questions to be informed by the young man about my choices so if my being there was to long for her taste, then her customer care skills suck. She did not treat other white patrons the same. First time there and last.

This place has an insane selection of wine and the staff are always happy to help. I personally like the vast beer selection and seasonal selections. If I ever need to find a very specific type of beer or wine this is where I come. They have local, regional, national, and international brands stocked. It really is a one stop shop.

While its great that you are forcing your cashiers to wear gloves I watched all three of them complete a transaction pull their cell phones out of their pocket and then continue on without changing gloves. Please educate your employees on cross-contaminaton. they are putting themselves at a high risk by wearing these gloves and not changing them.

Yes, the selection is great. But the prices are outrageous. If Im going to make my own six pack I dont want to pay over four bucks for a 12 oz beer or cider. Thats crazy. Also I feel that if Im buying a case you should give some discount. Staff is nice and reasonably knowledgeable.
