Pisgah Firestone was great, the service coordinator staff were very flexible and professional; while I waited, I overheard them interacting with customers, and was impressed. They may take awhile to complete a service, but they were very up-front about it. It looks like the management is actively trying to step up the customer service aspect, compared to other locations. The only problem is, they are still looking for techs, and good help is hard to come by these days. Apparently Firestone is trying to fill the positions tight now.

Very friendly and staff willing to go above and beyond to get you back on the road again. I will return to this Firestone location for future service needs.

Always a great experience

I was very disappointed in the service that I had received at this location. I took my Honda civic for the first time because they had a promotion on tires and tire balancing. After my tire installation I notice the car felt wobbly and loud. I thought it was due to tire being new and needed to be broken in. I felt the noise and wobble when gaining speeds and it was very noticeable at speeds under 60 the wobble fades after that. my car had never done that before. I visually inspected each wheel, and I noticed the right rear wheel was different. it had an excessive amount of weights and as I look more thoroughly, I noticed the older weights were still on. usually when tires being balance the old weights are supposed to be taken off before installing new weights so the balance can be set correct. I went back to the same fire stone and I told them the issue and the advisor said I had to make appointment to get it diagnosed. I did not need a diagnostic cause I was confident the weights were the issue, so I took the advisor outside to point out the problem. he said that the weights would cause an issue and they would take the vehicle in and rebalance the tires correctly. I told them to make sure they rebalance all the tires and test drive it. they called later that day and said the car was ready. when I went to pick it up, I asked if they made sure the test drove the vehicle. they said they did. I assumed they did as well. I drove the vehicle and the noise and wobble seem to fade but not for long. I was very frustrated at this point. you can only fool me once. so, I called one of my friends who worked for a local dealer and asked if he can check my car out. He said the tires feel off balance and he proceed to balance the tires and I noticed at the tire machine before he removed the weights the tires were all off balance still! so, he balances the tires, and the wobble went away the noise was somewhat still there because at this point the tires were slightly cupped because of the off balance. I will not be going to this specific fire stone again due to poor service because all my frustration could have been avoided if the job was done correctly the first time.

Best price in town for tires

Not recommended. Not sure what they are striving for, but they failed my inspection for “tinting” on a vehicle that was from factory, with the vehicle purchased in North Carolina. Avoid the hassle, go somewhere else.

Summary: Completely unprofessional outfit, avoid at all costs. There are many great service centers in Greensboro where you can have a positive experience.I bought my tires from an online retailer and had them shipped directly to Firestone on Pisgah Church. I made an appointment to have the tires mounted, balanced etc. I called the shop directly the morning of the service to ensure the tires had arrived, which they had not. The associate assured me he would call me as soon as he received the tires in, and would confirm my afternoon appointment. That call never happened. I confirmed for myself by using the UPS tracking number provided by the online retailer that the tires made it to the shop.I arrived at the shop for my service, and was told it would take 1 hour. I had my (full size) truck tire mounted in place of one of the 4 running tires that had gone flat. I explicitly requested that this spare tire be remounted under the truck bed where it normally resides when not in use. In actuality, the service took 2 hours, and the spare tire was just tossed in the bed of the truck. When I approached the associate at the shop, instead of trying to make it right, he basically said it wasnt his fault because he wrote it on the ticket. I will never go here again. This is a very simple, basic service that they couldnt get right. God help me if I needed anything remotely complex from these guys.

I always have a great experience at the Pisgah Church Firestone location. I find the customer service to be outstanding and the prices to be fair. The work is done correctly without wasting my time.

My family and I have been taking our cars here for several years at this point. Its hard to trust many service providers in the auto repair field but Id have to say the people here are quite trustworthy. They are much more reasonably priced than the dealership to boot.

I recently had fuel sensor replaced for Santa Fe from here. Its a labor intensive work and need especial expertise to perform this task. The Firestone mechanic did an excellent job within short time-frame. I would defiantly recommend this auto care to others.

I like the workers at Firestone. They are always nice to me. They make sure Im aware of the issues with my car and I like that. Im a regular customer. Jon is the one I call the most at the Pisgah Church location. Jon has wonderful customer service skills. He is always calm and he listens to what you are saying. Took advantage of my girlfriends trust, tried to sell her tires she didnt need and failed her on her inspection. Her tires looked fine to me, so we took it in for a second opinion and they all passed. Second opinion said she -might- need to get them rotated, but theyre perfectly safe.They also called her to pick up her car and made her wait an hour to get it.

Bought 2 tires. Fast and easy.

Great honest service. When given the chance to be dishonest and over charge for unnecessary repairs they maintained a higher level of dependability. Will be using this location for all my work vehicles this point forward.

Called ahead to try to schedule inspection. They only take 1st come 1st served. Called at 615p, only live 1.5 miles from store. Advised only 1 car was ahead and could maybe get it done today. Arrived at store at 630p, story was sorry but our inspector has already left. Store hours say open until 7p. Offered to call another store, what good would that do if they dont take appoinrments and they close at 7p too.

My experience at this location has always been good. Recently I reached out to John about a noise while braking after repairs had been done. I informed John, he immediately made an appointment and replaced the parts. 👍👍👍

Get my car done here all the time. They guys there are amazing

We took our 08 Honda in for an alignment and the service tech broke the intake tube and did not tell us. He then taped it with electrical tape and let us leave. Once mentioned something was wrong, they looked and said oh nothing is wrong. About a half of a mile down the road the car broke down. When we went back they told us oh yeah we found a crack in the intake tube. They gave us a few suggestions of repairs but left off the major repair. This shop is dishonest and I would never trust my car with them. We would have respected the shop better if they would have told us oops we made a mistake. The service manager Ryan Larkin was awful and kept making excuses. Do not take your car to this location. They did fix their error after all the trouble they put us through.

Went that and some fat guy told me to come back a few days later because they were closing and my wheel alignment will take at least 1.5 hrs, he told me to call the morning I told him Ill come so they can reserve the special car lift for my car til I get there, so i called and proceeded to come in a few hours later and they told me theyre booked and wont be able to help me for another 3 hours and seeing I have to work, I couldnt get it even thought it was hard getting that morning free to begin with. I dont ever leave comments, but this experience had me very disappointed with their service and lack of professionalism. It was either this location or Burlingtons Firestone that could provide me particular services, came here because I now live in Greensboro but Its now worth driving to Burlingtons location for service.

It was a bad experience, I went to the front desk to request a simple oil change and they offer me the full synthetic oil instead mentioning that will last more miles, from 6000 to 8000 thousand and all was ok until that point. Once the service finished, when I was inside my car the tag was with a schedule service for 3000 miles and I decided to ask the rep about it. His response was not good, in fact, if you cannot fulfill your promise and then argue that Firestone will not support your front desk statement about the miles that your car can run with protection with the oil and the consistency of your service, its absolutely unethical. I really dont care about the tag, I care about the reliability of my car and the confidence about the services I pay for.

Took my 2013 Rav4 there to get the tire plugged because I ran over a nail. They told me it was in an area that could not be plugged and I would need a new tire. They quoted me at $300. I said no and left. I took it somewhere else and the guy plugged the tire and it cost me $40. He said it was definitely fixable and was in the perfect spot for a plug. It has been 8 months now and my tire is just fine. They are liars.

We have been worrying about the brakes making a squeaky noises. We went to Firestone with bad brakes and Came out with back breaks that were stopping and no noise.Great job. Thank you. Will make this location ours for the cars.

Wifes check engine light was on. I stopped by to have it diagnosed the mechanic explained my catalytic converters needed to be replaced or the engine light would continue to stay on. This diagnoses took them 1 hr. Was quoted way over thousand for this repair. I was hesitant and had a gut feeling this wasnt the issue. Took it to advance auto and the gentleman in 2 mins stated i needed a o2 sensor. Bought it for something like 100$ which was the factory OEM AC Delco . Could have paid as low as 30$ for store brand. Then took it to Taylors tire on cone blvd for replacement. Check engine Light has been off ever since and paid 1200 to 1400 less. 1 hr firestone wrong diagnoses ASE mechanics. 2 min Advance auto correct diagnoses by a rep that knows nothing about cars. Hopefully this was just my experience and a honest mistake, if thats the case we all make mistakes. Thank you

I took my one year old truck here to get tires put on and left with two very deep scratched wheels where they took a tool and dug into my wheels to get the weights off. Also, my stainless steel valve steam caps where replaced with plastic ones. I never even asked them to replace those. I went there and spent hundreds on new tires and left with scratched wheels and missing caps. Went in with a nice new truck and came out with damage to my vehicle. I wouldve never imagined.

I have been there not happy with there service there pricesThey always find something with this service. They call over view if you didnt have problem with it before you will when you leave .You need to know something about your car before you let them service.

I had a break job completed on my car and had two MAJOR problems: First, the mechanic forgot to remove a wrench from my break bleed valve which resulted in a complete loss of fluids and breaks on my car. This was a very serious mistake and luckily for me this happened during a slow speed turn into a parking lot otherwise it could have easily been a fatal situation elsewhere. The manager refunded my money and had the breaks fixed and re-checked. The second problem is less than 1 year later I am having to have new breaks put on my car again because the aftermarket parts they used were complete junk. I do not recommend Firestone Complete Auto Care at all.

Great service but a little pricey just to diagnose my car

MANGER JOHN WAS GREAT. HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY CAR OIL FILTER FROM A OIL CHANGE DONE HERE NOT EVEN A MONTH AGO. THEY TOOK CARE OF IT WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED .

The team was knowledgeable, courteous, fair and timely. The work they have done has my stamp of approval.

Disappointing experience. Scheduled appointment on Sunday afternoon. After I arrived no work started on my car for 30 minutes. It took 1.5 hours to complete an oil change and inspection. I had expressed concern about needing my tires checked. Car was driven but no one explained if there was an issue or what it might be. Very dis-satisfied.

The service was timely and management was great. oh, thanks for having the National Football League package. I wanted to stay longer but my car was serviced thus I left.

Avoid this shop. I have been taking my car here for tires and minor work. Yesterday they told me my brakes were metal-on-metal. Took it to the dealership and I have 50% of brake pad left. Terrible way to treat a good customer. Their work is substandard as well. Ill be letting corporate know

They have wifi and a waiting area. The service is ok and the prices are typical. Definitely not perfect and focus on what they are meant to do. They did a poor job balancing my tires recently, but fixed it for me when I told them about shaking at high speeds. Their lifetime alignment and tire rotation is worth it for me since they are close to where I live and I put a decent amount of miles on my car.

First of all Brandon is the greatest mechanic on the planet and I was grateful that I was able to have my car serviced by him that day. I know him professionally and I trust him, with all of my family vehicles. Firestone, you got Brandon, you have my business! Kevin the manager, great guy, professional in every sense of the word, and I dont feel like I need to go over my paperwork with him and double check it for errors. He made me feel comfortable with his greeting coming in the door. My visit was made even better because Mark the NAPA rep was there grilling some burgers and dogs out front. We had a very pleasant mutual conversation about being fathers, husbands, and proud believers in God while I waited for my turn, because I choose to wait for Brandon. Mark loves his job, and loves people, very genuine guy. If all that wasnt enough, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the most amazing woman, she checked up on me every so often once my car was being worked on, engaged in conversation when the floor was empty, and just maximized her work time. This location is convenient to my house. On one occasion I waited about 3.5 hours for an oil change after being told it would take 45 minutes. Yesterday I dropped my car off for a diagnostic test due to some hesitation/stuttering with acceleration. After about 4 hours, my husband called to check on it and was advised that we could pick it up. Kevon stated that my issue was related to a recall and that the courtesy check would be free of charge. They did not call to let us know we could pick up my car. Today I called the Dodge dealership to confirm if the recall is related to the issue Im having and he said theres a 5% chance that this system update will fix the issue with your stuttering. I will not be returning to this location. I feel like Kevon just gave me a quick fix since they were not getting paid for it.

Service here is not good, they are way more expensive than other mechanics in the city, and they will try to upsell you for everything they can if they think you dont know anything about cars. My boyfriend (a former mechanic) got my car serviced here and got decent service, however when I tried to take it in later for a different issue they tried upselling me a ton of stuff. We took the car elsewhere and got the repairs we actually needed for half the price. Would not recommend.

Horrible experience yesterday. Got over $300 of work done at Firestone yesterday before I drive off and later have to return. Head gasket needs to be replaced and theres coolant in cylinder # 3. What a nightmare!!!

They are good, I got good service.

They left an empty oil bottle in the engine compartment after an oil change which we found later. AND... it was the wrong oil which means they didn’t even give me what I should have been running.

Too expensive but if you want the job done right.....you get what you pay for besides I have had an account with Firestone for years. Didnt call me to let me know my car was ready. My car had to be kept overnight because of parts. In the process I missed my gym class and my meeting.
