Why do I feel like if I only came in the store for 1 item, I some how end up leaving with 2?

I am usually a very positive reviewer, however this GNC as with many I found the service to be rude, condescending, and as if I was bothering the workers who did not stop their private conversation to offer assistance. I was looking for a product similar to pro-stat a non whey based protein drink in fruit flavors for my mother with stage IV cancer. I specifically and repeatedly asked for this specifically after he interrupted me twice to recommend something in Peanut Butter or Cake Batter flavor all of which were whey based. As soon as he showed me a product he turned and started talking to his coworkers who didnt move and could not wait to huddle ans talk like high schoolers. These were grown people. Honestly, GNC suffers from a left over elitism indictive of 80s culture. Like one of those gyms that used to mock people who were out of shape Get with the times. I watched several people walk in ans walk out before and after me. It doesnt matter what city Im in. One exception was the the Oglethorpe Mall in Savannah but they fired that worker who gave amazing service. Again, get with the times or just close

Romeo was by far the most courteous, knowledgeable and professional staff member that I have ever encountered at in a nutrition store. Just stopped in while we were in Greensboro and were so amazed by his service that we will be regulars at this location. Definitely worth a short drive from Winston Salem.

Staff member named Brandon was super efficient tonight . I was able to get in and out of the store within five minutes .

Helpful and friendly staff. Good selection of products. Store is small so doesn’t feel overwhelming. Everything neatly labeled for easy finding. Wish they sold kombuchas and other cold beverages.
