Extremely upfront about pricing and the work that needed to be done, everything was explained thoroughly and I did not feel like they were trying to sell me anything I did not need. Ive come to brakes for less before and got my brakes done, but this time was different. I felt pressured to buy a package I didnt come to pay for and was told a discount would be one amount and when I got there it was another. I left with only getting the basic package done, so I came back about a week later because my tires were wobbling he squeezed me in and I was informed that I need new rotors on my car. I denied the service it was upward to $500. I decided to take it to the dealership to get a second opinion, and they told me that I didnt need any rotors but did need balancing which was 50 dollars. Get a second opinion before you decide to get your brakes down here.

I dropped my car off for a brake inspection at the Laurens road location. They were able to get me in the same day I called which was nice. However, I got a call about 45 minutes later from the mechanic telling me that I needed all 4 calipers and break pads replaced, and that this was going to cost me about $1100. Finding that extremely hard to believe, I followed the advice of another review and went to get a second opinion from another shop. After the second inspection, I was told only 1 of the calipers needed replaced, along with a rotor (which brakes4less NEVER MENTIONED), and all 4 brake pads. Went from having to pay $1100 for 3 unnecessary parts to paying $600. Highly recommend anybody who comes here to get a second opinion and find a shop who wont try to take advantage of you.

I didnt take note of their names while there. But according to my paperwork its:Rep: Brian Tech: BradHad a wonderful experience there on 5-20-21.Brian was very polite and explained the cost well. He wore his mask correctly which made me happy since I have a 15 month old and were still in a pandemic. Pleasure to talk with.Brad (tech) was amazing at explaining what was going on and even what likely went wrong when my husband changed the calipers, bearings, rotors and brakes. Even gave a few tips for a better job next time. He found a problem we didnt know existed, sway bar enlinks were damaged/missing, it definitely made a difference in the way the truck felt going through the mountains back to TN. Those are the things that help prevent you from tipping over while turning. To fix my husbands mistake and the enlinks repair, we spent 116.41. Sadly, we dont have a brakes for less up here and to take it to the mechanic we use, the inspection alone would of been a minimum of $45 up to $89. It took around 2.5 hours but giving that they had to order parts and I wasnt the only customer there - were more than happy. My husband is willing to make the drive down the next time we need brake work. Provided when we call, the same tech is there. Otherwise wed gamble with the closer store in Asheville or one in our hometown if were visiting family.Side note. There are restaurants and shops (Michaels craft store and Burlington coat factory) right across the street. As well as a crosswalk right infront of the shop. Theyll call you when your work is done if you dont want to wait at the shop. The waiting area was clean and had a TV as well.

Walked out feeling like I was well taken care of with a great price as well. Its only been a few days, no problems noticed and dont expect any. Quick service...but not....too quick!! Would definitely recommend.

Booked an appointment online Christmas eve and got accepted. Was there before the place opened. Confirmation text and everything. Waited and waited. Finally called the number inside to discover a voice-mail that the place was closed and will reopen on the 26th. Why did they accept an appointment if they were going to be closed? And the crazy thing was, later that day I get another text saying: I see youve missed your appointment...

I needed a break job and the employees at the Laurens rd. break 4 less were professional, knowledgeable, and good customer service. They explained everything my car would need and let my decided what options I wanted to go with.. They have several packages to choose from and are priced great and offer a lot in each package...

This is what I found 3 days after Inspection at this shop. I’m not complaining that workers were smoking at the workplace even though my car got smelled smoking for few hours. They did even leave the brake fluid cap open. I’m so thankful that I’m still alive because I drove highway many time since the day of the inspection. Never go to this shop.

My brakes still squeak after paying 150 dollars

Had a recall done on my truck at the dealership. They told me my rear brakes would need attention soon so I figured I would try Brakes 4 less out. Mind you there was nothing wrong with my brakes. After dropping off they call me after inspection and tell me I have a front caliper leaking. BS wasn’t leaking at the Dealership. I told them just do the basic job. When I picked up there was fluid pouring out. Refilled the reservoir and barely made it to the dealer. Dealer said the Brakes 4 less worker OVER compressed the caliperBeware of this business. I tried to save a dime and will end up costing me a ton over$1100. My next call will be to Owner John Dacey.

I came in because my breaks had started to squeak. They did a full inspection for free, and brought my pads out for me to see. They explained everything in detail to make sure I understood what was needed. Will definitely be coming back.

These people are a crook. You go in for the brakes they will tell you you need all these extras. My wife went with out me to have the brakes replaced and came out paying over $1100.00. So please get second opinion from else wheres before doing more than just the brake pads

I dont have a lot of time and I expect when I have an appt to be ready for that appt to be put into play then to take as longer than stated pushed my entire schedule behind. Their work was good but they have to do better on scheduling as well as find a better outlet to recieving payment by phone, if unable to wait. They stated no payment taken by phone which inconvenience me a heck of a lot and caused alot of running. They work on that then over all their service was good, manager wa spot on with customer service but time is of the essence and I dont have it to waste. There were only 2 other guests in the waiting room besides myself. Overall I give them a 3 to 4 stars. Will give them another try.

I scheduled my appointment about a week out. When I got there, I dealt with Raheem. My appointment was at 1030, but I was there till almost 1230. They didnt get my car in until 11. They were very busy. Before they did any work, Raheem went over the condition of the brake pads and rotors on my car, and presented me with 3 options, explaining what I got with each and the price. He answered any questions I thought of. While I paid a little more than I would have liked, I left there know I had no issues with my car. Will definitely go back to them in the future.

I got my (everything) brakes changed/ fixed (for ~$1000) on a Wednesday, by Saturday night, I get a solid red check brakes light. I think to myself alright, maybe they didnt fill the system all the way back up. Sunday morning, I check the level, and its nearly empty, so I go to the local qt, and buy a bottle of fluid, fill it back up, and hp about my day. Well, after a day of driving, I go back home, and my dad is helping me put up a dog kennel outside. Before he leaves, theres a big puddle of fluid by my wheel. Im going back on Monday to get this resolved, but I would expect better work for $1000, and Im chance my review roll reflect this (as long as Im not charged).Edit: they ended up fixing the problem free of charge, as it was a defective part they recieved (bad washer on a new caliper), and they fully explained the defect, and even apologized to me. All in all, Im pretty satisfied with the work recieved

I would give negative stars if I could. I brought my f250 in and they took it apart and called me to say it would be 1200 bucks. They said all of the rotors were bad, all of the pads were bad, that they had to rebuild a piston and replace some calipers. After I got there to see what they were talking about, it turns out only the rear brake pads were bad and only one rotor was bad. The Piston was extended a little bit. The guy with the beard and tattoos had pork brake fluid on the ground and said that it was leaking. My truck wasn’t leaking I would’ve known bc I checked very recently. Somehow after complaining to three different people I got a hold of the manager and the price magically went from 1200+ dollars to 380. Which was still overpriced. They lied about how much work needs to be done because I wasn’t there to check my truck, then noticed it was a work truck in assume that I had to have the truck ready for work ASAP and then they can take it vantage of me. I came in praying I would make it without hitting something. This car is new to me and apparently the previous owners didnt do maintenance. The guys showed me exactly what needed to be done, gave me options, and we were able to work something out in budget. They also did the work as quickly as possible so i could get some sleep before going in to work third shift. You guys are awesome!

I had a 8 oclock appointment, the guys jumped right on my car,inspected it, gave me my options, which were fair and reasonable. I was gone in a hour and half with new brakes, machined rotors, and new drums, thanks again.

For the most part the customer service was okay however I first went in there to get there free brake assessment and i was waiting for an hour before I finally went up to the counter and asked about it. This is when he told me they where done but he was looking for a new rotor (something I didn’t get). Long story short I ended up deciding to only get my rear pads changed as the front still had some life in them. However I was surprised that to do just the rear wheels was 100$ taking into acount I had brought my own pads. Mind oh they have an offer that they will do front and back and supply the break pads for 160$. So if I brought my own pads I’d have to pay 200$ as opposed to 160$ if I hadn’t. This isn’t including the 100$ it costs for a decent set of front and back pads that I’d provide making the total 300 vs 160 now I would’ve jumped on the 160$ but I knew the break pads I would’ve gotten with that deal would have been very poor quality.

I was here couple of weeks ago I will never recommend anyone to get brakes from here. For one to exspensive. The price that is on the counter is not what I paid. Then when I questioned it the manager gets an additude with me. Customer service is poor. It took 2 and half hours for them to put on breaks, but every time I looked into the bay area no one was working on my car. So you see it doesnt take as long as they say. Please if you dont have to come here dont. The waiting area didnt have any heat it was cold that day. Never come here

We received the basic brakes package at the time of service. They walked us around the car and recommend what needed to be done on the car. Even though we declined and couple of the things for that time, we were still treated nicely. The service that we received was great and it did not take very long at all. I really wanted to give them 5 stars, but there was a hindrance in the way. My appointment was at 3:00 on Wednesday April 3, 2019. I arrived at 2:50 p.m and there were no vehicles being serviced I was the only customer because the customer that was there was checking out. I did not leave here until 5:15 P.M with a completed vehicle. They did a fantastic service on my vehicle, they are just slow. Other than killing 2 hours of my life I would recommend brakes for less to everybody. Oh! And they stand true to the price. Youre not going to be surprised by a bunch of parts/services that you dont need.

On 5/2/16 I took my gs300 Lexus to get the rear brake checked on @ brakes 4 less on Laurens Rd, SC. Me not knowing much about brakes, I went inside and asked the man at the front desk about my brakes. He steps outside and looks at my brakes and tells me Ill need new brakes and possibly a few other things. We then head inside. He gets behind the desk and proceeds to write me quote on the price of the brakes to be fixed. Without even pulling my car in and lifting it, without even CHECKING MY PARTS PHYSICALLY. By this time hes already at a total of $360. I ask him how is he getting this calculations and inform him that I really just want to go with a simple brake job. His response to me was ...well then, take your car back to the place that messed it up in th first place.This was the worse customer service.everyone isnt expert at brakes. I left the establishment.That same day, I took my car to another brake shop. The final price was $88. Now thats brakes for less! :)

Do not go to this business. Terrible service. Dropped my car off there in the morning to get my breaks replaced. I received a call 20 minutes later telling me they could not find the tire lock, and could not go any further. They stated they had searched my entire car for it. I then had to leave work, uber over to the business...only to find my bolt lock right in my center console where I told them it was in the first place. Terrible service. Waste of time.

The Easley location had me waiting 3 hours. They drove my car fast slamming on the brakes (I could hear them). They over charged me too charging me $30 over their max package. I went on a Wednesday to get the 15% off. Definitely didnt get that.

I went to the location at Laurens Road, they had 1 car and they had 4 workers and told me they dont take walk ins and I had to make an appointment and he said they were booked up for 3 weeks, thats bad and lazy service . You cant wait 3 weeks to change breaks. Bad service, I wouldnt recommend anybody no matter how cheap they advertise to this location. I took my business to Firestone, they had 6 bays full and still fitted me in. When your car needs servicing nobody is trying to wait a week or more. Its called maintaining your car and catching it when it starts.

Will never go back, didnt have anything wrong with my breaking system just knew it was about time to replace pads and shoes. The $159.00 brake job turned into 768.00 quote upon inspection. I went after them and inspected all the things said were wrong and needed replacing. Well well well, brake cylinders werent leaking, calipers were fine, rotors and drums could be turned and didnt need replacing, remember i drove the vehicle to Brakes 4 less. I told them just perform the 159.00 brake job and stop ripping people off. The basic brake job took 5 hours. I normally do it myself but was having back problems, next time ill pay my grandkids to replace the brakes, not rocket science, dont get ripped off.

Went in today just to get the front brakes done, but due to their exceptional and thorough examination they saved me from having a few issues later on down the road. Cost me about 230. Got back brakes and front plus a few other things that were definitely needed after self-examination of the brakes. They didnt charge me anything I didnt agree with. They ask what you think is wrong, show what is actually wrong, then proceed after you tell them what you want done. They have worked on both my vehicles and have done very well on both. Will be back!

Do not take your car here for brakes or any other services. I needed brakes on front of my Tahoe,my brother was taking it in for me,he called ahead for an appointment.The day of the appointment, he arrived early,had to wait for hours,they had excuses for not getting to him,when they finally got to it they gave an estimate to be fixed of 456.00.They said the brakes were bad,rotators needed replaced,springs needed replacing, plus other things,brother told just want front brakes done for now its scrubbing, was told couldnt do that,would not do that.So my brother left,went to another brake place,was told there that them at brakes for less is full of it,brother only had to pay for front brakes. Said rotator were fine,springs also. They get you in there with that price of 139.99,but they add other things to it that is not needed. THEY ARE CROOKS

Ive had my brake pads replaced multiple times, never had a problem. So I took my car here to give it a try, I got a call about 10 - 15 minutes after I dropped it off and they said that the mount holding the brakes in place was to big for my vehicles wheels. Then told me it would cost over $1,000 to get it fixed. Complete bullcrap. Never had anyone else that have done my brake pads before say that the mounts were to big. These guys get paid on commission. They just want your hard earned money. Be careful if u decide to go with these guys..

Overbooked by phone service, guys in shop werent aware of my appointment; so wasnt able to get my truck inspected until about 3 hours later. Once the inspection was over(another hour) was advised what the issue was & that Brakes 4 Less wouldnt be able to repair it.🤔

Heard the advertising on the radio and gave them a call. Got appointment that same day and got 4 pads, rotors machined, 1 caliper was frozen. Got it all done just over an hour.
