This dealership seemed great during the buying process (twice). I have now had two new cars that with severe mechanical failure twice. I now am making payments on a vehicle that is sitting for what was told as several (weeks)- just to be looked at. They have made no effort towards getting me into a loaner because as Clifford in service said good luck Hertiage and other dealers arent going to get it worked on any faster. Okay, so you cant help me and you are saying you wont pay to have it taken somewhere that can. < THIS is not service.Save youre money and energy and go to a large dealer with a solid service team. Better yet, one that stands by the GM product when a (2021 Yukon Denali) is not even able to drive less than 90 days after buying the vehicle NOT ONCE but TWICE. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!

I have one concern. I took my vehicle in for a drivers side door seal torn. The service writer took my information and told me he would call and set up an appointment to install it as soon as they got the part. After approximately 2 weeks I called back to check on it because I had not heard anything. After talking to three people and being told they didnt have the part by the parts department, I finally got to speak to the service advisor. He put me on hold and checked again. He then came back and said he had the part and set up an appointment to get it installed. Doesnt seem like a very efficient process to me. Every time I call to speak to a specific advisor I get a message he is not available and when I leave a message and wait a couple of hours for a return call that never comes, I have never received a return call when I get that message. And have never got a return text from the texting system when I try to contact the service writer that way. System needs to be used or done away with.

Fortunately my battery died around 10:30am on a Saturday just a few miles from Donaghe Buick, and when I called they referred a tow company to me that was also nearby. Wait time for the tow was approximately 20 minutes. I was able to have the battery replaced and also an inspection and was on my way in about 45 minutes. The service manager was professional and helpful. Appreciate that they were open on Saturday and was able to get this resolved quickly, and grateful this did not happen on a Sunday.

I purchased a new truck and the sales person was amazing. He was the best salesman I have ever dealt with. Francisco does a great job and really understands the customer. I wish I could say the same about the service side personnel in that place. Francisco was basically the one that helped us there and he does not work on service side. I would suggest a little more training on both techs and servicing personnel. They need to make sure that vehicles are properly checked before returning to customers. I felt that they do not car much since it’s not theirs. I had asked for a wash and it shows it on receipt. Same thing not completed. I live over an hour away and had to go back 3 times for my truck to be ready. 2 times there were issued not corrected. Like I said on the sales side everything is good.

My husband and I went looking to purchase a used truck to replace his truck. We didnt figure we would be able to afford a new one so used... We got to the dealership and Ed walked my husband around to look at the used trucks and there was nothing that peaked his interest. So, Ed showed my husband a 2021 extended cab( we have 4 kids so we need room) GMC Sierra. Never thought we could get it and didnt want my husband to get his hopes up BUT... We drove off the lot with it because they made it happen and made it affordable. Now I dont have to worry about the old truck falling apart while we are going down the road. I brought my 2018 Acadia Denali into the dealership after several weeks failing to recognize that it had been put into park, flashing a message on the dash instructing the driver to β€œshift to park” even when the gear lever have already been moved to the β€˜P’ position.I had already gone online to research the problem and found multiple comments, complaints and even a class action lawsuit brought against GMC for this faulty mechanism. So when I got to the dealership they knew what the problem was, and how to fix it.Initially the service tech explained that they would need to order the part(s) and since I drove nearly an hour from home to Greenville, TX, they had no available loaner vehicles, he recommended that I return with my car after the parts came into the dealership.However, upon further checking, they did have the part(s) to fix my car, they were very efficient and professional in getting it fixed in a short time-frame, and within about two hours time, I was back on the road driving home!Ive had more than one occasion to use the service department at Donaghe Buick GMC and have always found the customer service very friendly, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. I had been looking for a new car for about a month and was planning on going to a dealer in a Dallas the next morning to purchase a car that I had looked at the previous weekend. So far I have been extremely impressed with the level of service from Southwest. I purchased a truck in January 2017, and it ended up having issues. The service rep Chad has always keep me up to date by calling me almost every other day. The issue with the truck couldnt be fixed so the sales manager Justin has worked really hard and has been able to get the 2017 traded in for a 2018 without changing my payment or making me upside down, all while making sure to keep my gap insurance and extended warranty. It is white leather and showed very will the grease prints. But they had vacuumed out the interior and washed the exterior just missed the mechanics mess up.

Not a great experience.I would say typical car dealership.First, I bought a car on Saturday and realized the dang thing doesnt have a place for a spare tire???I called the dealership and told them that was a problem. Their response was sorry about your bad luck.If you buy a car I would think any dealership should give your at least 3 days to return it. The sales guy was telling me all the things the car has, never once did he mention what it did not have.. HELLO pretty important! Please tell your customer this important detail! It is tow truck ride if you have a flat people.Secondly, the day I bought the car I almost backed out cause the Finance guy was so RUDE after I turned down his gap ins. and extended warranty. He totally got quiet and huffed when I declined the extra coverage. He was pissed and said May i ask, Is there a reason why you dont want this this coverage? He pushed me three times trying to get me to say yes. I replied I dont need it. That man didnt say one word after that. It was awkward silence. He was pushier than the salesman! When the GM came out to talk to me about the issue he apologized but truly just made an excuse that the man had gotten over illness and some days he is just in a sour mood. Either way, this is the last time this companies name will be in my pocket book!

Bought a 2015 gmc from them late September and 2 months later the A/C went out. Service department is terrible and when I talked to the dealership I was told since it was a used truck that nothing is covered, I understand that part just expected a different response due to it being a small town dealership. Buying my car there was amazing! I was there for maybe an hour for the entire process. Having them service & wash my car was a great experience as well. They even checked my tire pressure for me because the light kept coming on.

I purchased a GMC Terrain March 2018 and I had such a positive experience here. Sky was my salesmen, he was so helpful and was not pushy like most car salesmen. I could not be happier with my new car and experience at Southwest GMC. When I get ready for a new car again I will defiantly go back here and ask for Sky. Highly recommend.

Service department is a joke. Scheduled an appointment online for a recall, drive 35 miles and dropped it off. Then 30 minutes later get a call saying they to dont have the parts to repair it. Blamed it on internet scheduling and showed zero remorse. I guess buying two new vehicles there last year gets you nothing.

It was defiantly an amazing place, the people were all friendly, and my car dealer was David Payne, and everyone should defiantly go to him when you are looking for a new car! David had it worked to where i took my truck home and a driver fly to Louisiana to where i am currently located and picked up my old car, not only where the extremely nice, they defiantly did whatever it took to make me happy!

A not so funny story...Two weeks ago my husband and I were talking about the Terrain I bought here in 2013. It is a daily driver for me and my commute to work. I have 97K miles on this Terrain and still have the original tires on the vehicle. We talked about writing in and saying how pleased we were with the car. I was hoping our Salesman (Sky) still worked there. Of course I put off writing and last week was in a terrible accident and now have lost my precious Terrain. I was so happy with that car and was planning on driving it for a long time. Wish I knew what kind of tires those were....
