My appointments at Dr. McGregor and Associates is always a pleasant experience from seeing the technician in preparation for my exam with Dr. Nick, to the exam itself. Im glad we found such a caring practice.

Very thorough exam for my daughter. There were a couple of hiccups with how much we owed. It ended up being a little more than expected, but the woman was very apologetic. Overall great people.

Although the optometrist is probably excellent, the staff is awful.When my child was going to to pick frames, a staffmember tried to hard-sell the child ridiculous frames, telling her that she just had to have the Donna Karan name brand.They make an appointment for a year later. Even if you tell them not to, they do it anyway. And when I have make a personal call in front of my waiting customers, to cancel an appointment I did not make, the receptionist mocks my southern accent: Yyew hay-uv a reeeel goooood day. What kind of business mocks their customers?

I had a wonderful experience at my eye appointment today. I just move here from another state and you know that can be stressful. Everyone was so nice and made me feel like family! The staff is wonderful and Dr. Collins listens to you and helps you decide best options. They helped me best decide how to apply my insurance credits so I could get the most bang for my buck. Overall a wonderful experience and I am so glad to be a patient there.

Dr. Collins has been my optometrist for several years, and I recently started taking my 13-year-old daughter to him as well. He is personable, professional, and takes just the right amount of time to listen and answer all questions to ensure he identifies the right option(s) for treatment. I wear multi-focal contact lenses, and that can be tricky, but he is patient and knowledgeable. The technicians are great, returning all calls promptly, and the front desk staff members are also very helpful and professional.

As before, I was seen promptly and taken care of with care. The flow from one phase of exam to the next was smooth and very personal.

My wife and I were extremely happy with the exams done by Amber Moss. She was very thorough in her exams, providing explanation, by bringing technical terms to our understanding .We will return to McGreggor for any future services that we may need..,Sincerely,Ray and Otti

I have been a patient of Dr. Collins for several years. He was worked with me on getting the best vision with contacts. I just recently went for my yearly check and told him that I was having problem reading and was generic reading glasses. He studied my chart and give me a pair of contacts to try and they are perfect. I have to say that I have never had an un-pleasant visit.

I called them right after opening yesterday as I had a very painful right eye. They were able to work me right in. The whole process was efficient. The office is extremely clean and pleasant with social distancing made easy. They called me back right on time. The doctor was pleasant and competent. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and if I have any further vision needs will visit them again.

They were super friendly and professional. I let the receptionist know that I’m still learning English and everyone was patience to me. Also Dr. respond all my questions. They accept Guardian insurance and have extra care sanitizing and keeping social distancing.

Amazing!! wonderful customer service and the Dr. Collins was patient and listened to all of my concerns. I am test driving a new brand of contacts, and so far they are great! We also had some issues with billing ( that I never even noticed) but the staff caught it immediately and corrected it. They also gave me a discount for the inconvenience. This kind of customer service is difficult to come by. They have earned a new patient for life!

This was my first ever eye exam. Heather was super nice and took the time to explain everything to me. Dr. Collins took his time and walked me through everything and gave me the great news that my eyes are exactly where they should be for my age (cough) 40. I may need to use readers from time to time but that’s it for now. My husband had lasik surgery a few years ago and they check his eyes for him every year to help maintain his “warranty”. He said that Dr. Nick is awesome and he’s glad that he found him.

Dr McGregor is the best!! and his Staff is outstanding! So accommodating and they all know what they are doing.....Been going to Dr. McGregor for years and would not think of going anywhere else....

I have been seeing Dr. Baughman since I moved back to the upstate in 2003 (I think). He has always been very thorough and professional. He takes time to address all of my concerns. I never feel pressured to purchase my glasses there if I don’t want to though I have on several occasions. I would highly recommend Dr. Baughman to anyone.

Trying to wear contacts for the 1st time at my age was not easy but, after 7 or 8 different types and going back over the course of a month and a half I finally got the ones that worked. They staff and the dr. was so patient and understanding through all of it not many would have been that patient and helpful most would have given up and said stick to glasses but they didnt.

From front desk to the doctors to the lady that helped me pick out my glasses everyone was awesome, friendly and experienced. Love this place

The optometrist and staff that helps choose glasses were very nice and helpful. I did arrive 10 minutes early for paperwork (finished before app time) and still had to wait 15 past my appointment. My mother in law also waited 30+ minutes past her appointment time due to staff being limited. It’s something to work on but great otherwise.

I m very satisfied with my visit. I recommend going here to get your eyes checked to everyone. He answered all my questions and did a wonderful job. everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Baughman is hands down the best optometrist. However, it is the office staff inconsisency that makes for a bad experince. LeAnn the billing specilist is very rude and has a know it all attitude. She does not listent to the patience. Tammy is WONDERFUL!!!! I LOVE speaking with her. The rest of the staff is great as well. However, as with anything else, it only take one bad apple to ruin the experince. If you dont have to deal with LeAnn then your experience should be GREAT. Otherwise, get ready to be WOWed in a bad way.

I have been a patient here for many years. Maybe 8 now? The level of care I receive is always top notch! The two women at the front are just super sweet and always very helpful! I always feel heard and cared for. This office always responds to my needs. I do realize people can have bad experiences, but that will happen everywhere. As long as you are not in a hurry, this is a great place! I was a new patient and during my first visit I waited 40 minutes in the waiting room (the appointment was at 8:20), in my follow up appointment, I waited 45 minutes in the waiting room (the waiting room was not busy or full). The staff was very kind and Dr. Collins is very knowledgeable about contact lenses. Was super disappointed in the lack of consideration for my time.

As usual my issues were treated with compassion and professionalism. Dr. Collins listened with patience and shared his knowledge of the possible causes and treatments. I felt better after the visit.

Dr. Collins kept watch on my eyes and diagnosed nodes on my cornea. He referred me for surgery which was done and now everything is good. I trust him to take good care of my vision. I would recommend him.

I started going to Dr. McGregor and Associates about 8 years ago. I was particularly interested in working with a doctor that could prepare me for LASIK. My experience has been truly life changing. Dr. Randall Baughman is a caring man who wants the absolute best for his clients. On the day of surgery his was there to sit with me in the recovery area. Then there were countless follow up visits. Under his supervision I went from being basically legally bind to now celebrating my seventh year of 20/20 vision!! No glasses or contacts!! I go back for my yearly exams no longer dreading the outcome. The entire staff is extremely friendly from the moment you enter the office to when you circle back around to be checked out. I really cant compliment this team enough!! THANK YOU!

I have tried several Eye care centers and find that Dr. McGregor and associates to be the most thorough and efficient. My mother had macular degeneration and my father had Glaucoma so getting the added scans puts my mind at ease. I recently had some difficulty getting my last glasses to work for me and Dr Collins and the optometrist spent lots of time on getting them just right.

Very friendly and excellent service. They are good with kids. Their prices are comparable to discount places I have been to and they dont force an upsell on you.

I was having a minor problem with one contact. I dropped in to request a technician look at my eye to see if I had my contact in the eye. Dr. Baughman walked in and the receptionist told him my problem. He immediately took me to his examination room and ascertained that I did not have a contact in that eye and actually gave me a new contact for the eye. I was extremely pleased with Dr. Baughman and he solved my problem. I was in the office maybe 15 minutes. The staff there is very friendly and all my experience there as has been superior.

We made a mistake and were an hour late for our appointment, but they still worked us in and we got a great doctor to boot.

The new patient paperwork was detailed, showing me that my eye care would be taken seriously. Dr. Baughman is very professional yet relatable. He was good at telling me what part of the exam he would be doing next. He gave my 3 contact lens samples. I have dry eyes and wear multi-focus lenses so having options is helpful. A follow up appointment was scheduled, along with my appointment in one year. The office staff was helpful and kind. I was very pleased with my experience.

Absolutely will NEVER use them! I called ahead to ask if they accepted our insurance, and if I would need an appointment to bring my child in after school with a prescription to pick out a new pair of glasses. We walked in the door at 4:02pm, and was told they would not allow us to pick out glasses because it would take too long! Understanding my child gets out of school at 3:30pm, and I had to drive from State Park Rd area to get there, we did the best we could on time. We left McGregor & Assoc, and drove to another facility down the road that happily accommodated us, and had us on our way home by 4:39pm. Huge customer service fail which lost potential future business for all our eyecare needs.

I transferred there after having a doctor for almost 30 years at another practice. I found that the staff and the Dr. Baughman were very professional. I knew I had an issue with my left eye, and Dr. Baughman found the issue and referred me to a retina specialist. All this happened within two and a half hours. I will definitely be back next year.

Dr. ODell is a detailed doctor with a bright personality. She always makes me feel comfortable and taken care of when I go to the appointments. When you walk in you are greeted by the very friendly ladies at the receptionist desk.Please DO NOT see Dr. Collins if you visit the office. He diagnoses without asking questions, talks over you when you are speaking, and has extremely poor customer service. I was surprised to be treated so rudely by him. I saw him once and would NEVER go back if it werent for Dr. ODell.

What turned out to be a very large floater appeared in my eye the other day. I was concerned it might be retinal tearing because I had a prior retina problem. I called the office and they said come right in to get checked out. I was there in 15 minutes and out an hour later - really good service.
