My wife and I went there to get her some glasses. Supposedly the exam was “free” and the Optometrist was very unprofessional. Acted like he was doing her a favor. Quick as he could, didn’t take the time to do it right. We proceeded to order some glasses for her. As I recall it was 289.00. When they came in it was just, well there you are! No adjustments or anything. They were progressive lenses and she put up with for about six months and she could no longer stand them. We recently got her another exam from a truly qualified Dr. and the prescription was much different! She now has glasses she loves- she can see so much better. We got them from Sam’s Club and they really took their time with adjusting them. Don’t go to STANTON optical.

I had bought my glasses from here on Saturday. I would told they would be done in 2 weeks. I get a text On the following Friday saying that my glasses were ready to be picked up at the location and sent my confirmation number as well. I got there so excited for my glasses because it had been a while since I had a nice pair. My other glasses before only had 1 arm so it was a struggle at times. Not to mention that the store is across town from where I live just to be told that it’s a bug in the system and that my glasses will be in Monday. I’m not upset with the employees, that was out of their control. The company Stanton Optical needs to do better. I wasted my gas to drive there and I was giving false information. It was a just a big let down 👎🏽

Stacy is the most patient and kind associate ever! She absolutely went out of her way to make sure I was happy with my selection and still in budget. She is a blessing.

I was extremely surprised at how affordable my wifes glasses and eye exam cost. The staff was very professional and courteous. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

I made the first appointment of the day so I would not have to wait too long. I was greeted and sent to another desk to check in. No one was at that desk. After about 5 minutes, the associate checked me in. After 40 minutes after my appointment time, I decided to leave. The sales associate I spoke with to cancel the appointment had no explanation and just said would you like me to reschuedule? I kindly refused and said I would go elsewhere. What is the point of an appointment if you cant follow it? Especially when I was the first appointment of the day?

The sales associates are very nice and helpful, the doctor have zero personal skills and it hardly waited to hear an answer, he just wanted to be done making us feel rushed during the eye exam, I will not go back to this place. The prescription lenses are over priced so they can play around with the numbers. They also made us had an appointment and once we got there said that they did had a doctor available and that we needed to reschedule. Not so professional, over all they are ok but I rather go somewhere else next time.

I told them I simply could not afford the $120 frames at this time but I get such bad headaches when I don’t wear glasses, which is why I finally got them early last year to begin with. I was in desperate need of glasses & all other places that have the 2 glasses for $60 special were all booked up for almost 2 weeks out. I was able to book an appointment here the next day. The eye exam was fast. I was told it would take 2 weeks for my glasses to arrive but it ended up only being a week. I really like my new glasses especially the price for both! Would highly recommend.

Honestly, I went in with the intention of JUST getting an exam, so I could order some glasses online. Found out that Stanton was having a special of 2 pair of standard progressives for $99. Thought there would be a bunch of add-ons and extra charges, but I asked for information (since I was already going to be paying for the exam). David was an amazing help, with finding frames that no only were a part of the special, but actually looked good! When it was all said and done, I paid exactly $99 for the whole thing, exam included. This was the most painless eyeglass experience of my life, and Ive been wearing glasses since the third grade. Thank you SO much David and Stanton Optical!

David has been a lifesaver! I thought it was normal to be dizzy when getting used to glasses so I went months being uncomfortable. I also thought I had the blue light glass but it turns out they were just the basic. I took my son to get eye glasses because of the 2 pair plus eye exam for $69.99. What a joke!! They only had about 8 pairs of glasses that you could choose from to get the 2 for $69.99 and they were atrocious! Nobody would wear those. So, instead we had to buy a pair and get the 2nd 50% off, but we had to pay for the lenses also. Lenses were cheaply made and not worth the cost. Came out spending $350+. Do yourself a favor, go to Walmart or Americas Best! Stratton Optical has no intention of selling you 2 pairs for $69.99! That just attracts customers in to trick then into spending way more!

All I can say is WOW!! The customer service and the professionalism was amazing at my visit today! I am 43 and my eyes aren’t the same as they once were obviously.... The Doctor that took care of me was one of the nicest people Ive ever had the chance of meeting and was able to explain everything about todays process as well as what to expect in the coming years in such away that made it simple to usnderstand and felt completely comfortable with him. I was given my prescription and walked out with my new glasses custom made for me about 15 minutes later. I know it sounds corny but The moment I put them on it felt like I had Super powers Everything I saw was crisp, and brilliant. I went in for a simple eye exam and came out with literally a better view of the world!Nothing short of extraordinary!!

Biggest scam ever.They told us he was covered under our insurance when we got the exam then when we get to the part to buy frames, all the sudden they aren’t a provider. 🙄 Now you owe this much. Oh btw you owe for your exam because you have Ins. But we don’t take your Ins. Huh? Biggest scam ever!!! If you are not a provider then that should be told up front when we show you our cards.

Do not order eyeglasses from this store! The customer service is horrible and they do not get you the product you choose in any appropriate timeframe. My son ordered a replacement pair of eyeglasses. He waited over 10 weeks for them to call that they were finally in. He called numerous times to check and was told they were due in any day and someone would call. Lies! When he went to pick them up, they weren’t even the right frames. Save yourself the headache and find another place to deal with. If I could give no stars, I would. Sorry Stanton Optical- open YOUR eyes and see what’s wrong with your company.*Corporate office : you can contact me anytime and I’ll detail the issue. I even tried contacting someone at Corporate customer service and got no return call. Consequently, we have filed a complaint with the BBB.

Most importantly, if you have any issues like a broken frame or a simple adjustment, it is addressed quickly with no hassles. Sadly what I thought was an awesome eyeglass center is nothing more than a disaster of customer service. Call for new glasses or appointment.....immediately get through. Call to check your order...........good luck talking to anyone. Go to the store easily one or more hour wait times to pick up glasses. My warranty glasses have been missing in the Stanton World for weeks. My emails keep saying the store has them. The store says they cant find them and will call me. What a mess!

On Friday, I had an appointment at 3:30. I walked in and was not greeted. Luckily, I am a returning customer, so I knew where to go. When I got to the eye exam portion of the store, the desk was empty (not fully their fault as they were staffed for only one person), and I had to wait approximately 10 minutes to be pre-checked in. 15 more minutes later, I was finally taken to the Pre Appointment eye exam. I asked the employee if the wait would be very long since I had an appointment and could tell there were at least 5 people ahead of me. Her answer was I hope not. Well, I actually wasnt seen until 5:00! At no point did they ever check in with us. At one point the store manager stepped off the floor to take a personal call in one of the eye exam rooms! He did not speak to ANY of us!At NO point were any of us apologized to. At no point were we given the option to reschedule. At no point did anyone offer ANY apologies, discounts, condolence, or even express empathy. We just sat there with zero options. I had to miss my dentist appointment because my eye appointment ran over!When my eye exam was finally over at 5:17, I sat down with the manager and told him I was surprised at how long the wait was. His only response yeah, Im sorry. our call center did us wrong. He couldnt find the glasses that I wanted in inventory, so I had to settle for a different pair. Then, I was told I had to order my glasses because the lab wasnt open. The main reason I go to Stanton Optical is because I can have the glasses the same day. I know to many this might seem silly because this is not the norm, but it IS the norm for Stanton, so I was not happy about this change.Also the glasses were merchandised wrong. Sunglasses had regular glasses and technology glasses had sunglasses.Unfortunately, I had many of these similar issues in February 2020 and thought Id give them another chance. Once I receive my glasses, I will not go back.

I had an awesome experience at Stanton Optical on Woodruff Rd in Greenville. Mackenzie was the sales person that helped me. She was great! She listen to all of my concerns I had. I had lost my insurance and she really took the time to help me find what I needed that would not break the bank. I was so happy when I left knowing they had really had my best interest and not just wanting to sell me glasses I couldnt afford. I would recommend Stanton to any one looking for great service and great glasses. Shout out to the Store Manager Dave. He came over to make sure I was getting everything I needed. When I left I felt like valued customer.

This is the type of place that you go to whenever you cannot afford eye insurance or private practice eye care. They rush you eye exam because they have 50 billion walk-ins on top of appointments and they don’t even offer imaging of your retinas. This is not the type of place that will follow your eye health, so if that’s what you’re looking for, look further.To top it all off, it took over a month to get contact trials in.WASTE. OF. TIME. Beware.

This is the worst place you could ever go for glasses and the 2 pair for 69.95 is a scam. My husband set up an appointment for the 2 pair and eye exam when his exam was finished they told him the price for lenses start at $100. He ended up paying $290 for 2 pair of single vision lenses was told they be ready by april 24. He only got one pair and was told his other pair on hold. Its been another week since he got his first pair. No word on the 2nd pair and NO ONE answers the phone or calls you back when you call there so I guess hes getting ripped off his 2nd pair. Yall please dont fall for their lies and waste your money. Americas Best is 100% better and you get what they advertise. Not a scam to get you in the door and take your money.

Took my daughter there to get eye exam. The customer service in the waiting room was talking loudly about a customer on the phone, very unprofessional. The doctor was nice, not very friendly though. We picked out her little glasses and the lady who waited on us was very nice. People friendly. She ordered the glasses and said they would be ready within the next 7 days. That was 16 days ago and they are still not in!! Even with insurance I paid $66 down and it will be $65 more when I pick them up! Now it is 2021- seriously it does not take this long to get glasses! She struggles to see the board daily at school. I could have taken her somewhere else and already have her glasses. I could probably get another exam somewhere, order glasses, and have them back within 2 days. I am not at all pleased with this place. There seems to be a problem with people doing their job. I should not have to pay another dime on these glasses and should be refunded what I did pay down. Their negligence is causing stress and great anxiety for my child. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are not good for what they say. But they sure do charge for every little thing. I am debating on just getting a refund and taking my business else where.Now its been right at a month and the glasses still are not in. Said the lab made a mistake and they are having to redo them. These glasses were basic single vision. Then they blamed it on Covid !! Stated lab was in Florida, I told him that was the one state that did not close down. This is the biggest rip off and unpleasant place I have ever dealt with. And they will not answer the phone at all at Greenville store. This place is the very reason that you can not trust anyone these days. Its disgusting.

Honestly have gotten way better service and treatment at Americas Best, worst decision coming here. I felt like it as rushed and the best advise I was given was to get glasses... Kind of the point of me coming in.

My son is a -8.5 in contact lenses and we were given samples by our doctor to hold him over until our shipment of Biotrue Contact Lenses arrived. Due to the delay in shipping, we ran out of lenses and because it is Saturday, our doctor office was closed so I was in the neighborhood of Stanton Optical today (Saturday) and I had my sons Contact Lens prescription with me) - I was desperate and in need of purchasing a box of lenses to hold him over until our shipment arrived. He is literally BLIND without his contact lenses and he does not wear glasses. I had tried Walmart to see if they had any to sell me but they did not.When I called Stanton Optical and explained my situation they told me to come right in and they would help me. Daisy and Stacy were so nice and their Manager was such a gentlemen. He provided me a complimentary sample of lenses to help my son out and I could not be more thankful. I was willing to pay for them but they would not take the money. They are by far the nicest and most accommodating people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.I also witnessed them helping out a lady who was having an issue with her glasses order and they told her to pick out whatever she wanted and they would have her glasses ready in 20 minutes. I mean - I have never witnessed Customer Service at this high level. I’ve had several experiences here, & they were all fantastic. From the moment I checked in early for my 11:45 am appointment, I was made to feel at home. Even when they told me it would be a little longer due to pandemic scheduling, it was okay.My eye exam was fine, and the sales woman I worked with today (for the second time) helped me get exactly what I needed. I added several upgrades (gradient tint, UV, glare, etc) to my brand new prescription which I must have, and because of certain complications That I had, I was able to interact a couple times with the manager who needed to give her some computer access.He was very nice, funny, and polite, as were they all. I gladly give Stanton Optical 5-Stars, but if I could give them more, I would. Every day, I drive past several other places on the way to and from work where I could easily get an eye exam & glasses after I leave my office.However, instead I took the day off today so that I could drive all the way across town to Stanton Optical because that’s where I know I will get amazing service by a very talented and professional team, great options as far as frames, lens upgrades all at an affordable and fair price.
