I have been consistently getting my eyebrows waxed with Jamie at the Benefit Brow Bar for 5 or 6 years and cant believe Ive never written a review! She is seriously the best and always makes my eyebrows look flawless. Shes so fun to talk to and extremely quick and efficient with her work. I love that she is a perfectionist and that I can always count on her to do a thorough job. I am so particular about my brows and she has NEVER let me down. I have even made special trips when I was living out of state to come get my eyebrows waxed by her--that is how amazing she is. I love her and you will too! Just an awesome human being! Greenvilles Ulta is so lucky to have her!!

I usually love shopping at Ulta, but the last few experiences have been awful! Today i left frustrated, after i asked an employee to help me find a eye shadow pallet that was listed on sale. She just scanned all of them, and said, no sorry none of these! Rang the rest of my items up, handed me my receipt and sent me on my way.Id be better off shopping on line, at least i wont expect any sort of pleasantries or solid customer service.

I have been an Ulta customer for several years, a diamond customer at that. For those who read my review and may not be aware, the qualifications for a diamond customer are to spend $1,200.00 or more annually with Ulta. I can assure you that Ulta in Greenville,NC will never receive any of my business from this point forward.My daughter and I visited Ulta in Greenville on Sunday, September 13, 2020. We were greeted with “Do you ladies have a mask”? Not welcome to Ulta, do you ladies have a mask. I responded, “yes ma’am” and put mine on. My daughter isn’t able to wear one. The manager that rudely greeted us as we walked in the front door made no additional comments. I now know that Ulta’s protocol for those who can’t wear mask is to offer curbside or online services. Why did the manager not follow Ulta’s protocol and offer us those services? After shopping in the store for well over 30 minutes with no customer service offered whatsoever my daughter and I we’re shopping for body lotions. There was another customer also shopping for body lotion who was conversing with my daughter and I on the different fragrances of the lotion. I heard a voice repeat the words ma’am multiple times but because I was engrossed in purchasing a suitable lotion for myself and my daughter I paid no attention to her until she approached me. It was the manager shouting ma’am across the store from the Mac counter as she was walking until she reached me and my daughter at the Body Shop and Hempz lotions. She demanded that I needed to put my mask back on and I stated to her that I would be happy to when I completed my decision on the body lotion that was a fit for me and my daughter. Another customeralso shopping for the same lotions was standing within two or less feet of me and had pulled her mask below her nose and was trying to decide between two fragrances as well. This manager never ask this customer to place her mask back on her face to cover her nose and mouth. When I asked the GM why I was told “we are not talking about her, we are talking about you. “This was very embarrassing to my daughter as she felt like that we were called out by the manager in front of all the shoppers in the store. My daughter left the store as I was checking out and I proceeded to the manager after completing my purchase to ask her to acknowledge that some people cannot wear mask and that to discriminate and embarrass these individuals is unacceptable, quite honestly it is a violation of rights. The manager was extremely rude, was using her personal cell phone to text while on the sales floor and offered no respect while I tried to speak with her. In fact when I informed her that I would be calling corporate headquarters for the treatment that my daughter and I received while visiting the Greenville store, her reply to me was “whatever, I don’t care what you do. “ I will stop now, this truly is only half of the story, it takes an even worse turn when the GM calls me and tells me she will view store cameras and get back with me the next day. Of course, you guessed it, I had to call her back, and after a very very unprofessional performance by this GM I am pursuing different action. I didn’t ask for money back, gift card, merchandise etc.. I only ask that my daughter receive an apology for the discrimination and humiliation that she was made to feel by this manager. I was told by the GM, and I quote, “Well, that ain’t gonna happen.” I shop very frequently at the Morehead City Ulta, and I have never experienced anything but great and friendly service there.

Ulta staff...you work in a glorified drugstore. You are rude and unprofessional. You do not work in a high end upscale boutique nor does your multi colored hair and tattoos reflect class. Managers. The Greenville location must have a prerequesite in your job description to be a total *****to customers from all walks of life. You have high employee turnoverfor a reason. People just go to Target.

Not to long ago about 30minutes I was front of the store and I have to call in order to purchase. Knowledgeable staff. Needed a different type of coverage from It cosmetics. The one I was using did not cover areas of increasing redness on my face. Was prepared to make a change in make up if I had to until the staff member showed me three levels of coverage were available. Found the right coverage from It perfect for the redness on my face. Enjoy the benefits from using this makeup and pleased could remain with the product of my preference.It was about closing time but the young lady did not show a sense of urgency. The store is packed with plenty of product options. If you know what you want, its easy to shop. If help is needed, it can be frustrating. I rarely recognize an associate from a prior visit so I assume turnover is high (Benefit salesperson excluded), resulting in associates lacking the knowledge to provide quality service. Product selection & quality is good. Prices are reasonable prices on sale items or deals if you can buy in volume (buy 2, get 1, etc.) & use store coupons.The Benefit salesperson was less than helpful, more focused on filling a display than assisting this customer with product education & selection. I had thrown away all my old products (from before a lengthy illness) & was ready to buy a complete line of skin care & make-up with a generous gift card. Even saying this didnt shift the focus of the salesperson for more than 2-3 minutes. She helped me choose a foundation color then pointed to the mascara options, returning to her display. I also picked up primer I knew I liked from years ago, but left with 3 items & a nice balance on my gift card to use later on hair products, most likely.

I go here out of necessity and while they have a great selection, it always seems they are out of stock for the product I go in for. It has happened to me many times now. I went specifically in for an item that they did have and when I got home the person helping me must have given me the wrong item. I went in for a mauve lipstick and when I asked for help she said she gave me the right one, but when I got home I had a ruby red lipstick. I was very frustrated to say the least.

I had a great interaction with a new rep at the Greenville store. Her name starts with an M, but it escapes me at the moment. I had several other reps that walked past and never engaged. I looked confused, yet no one stopped to ask. Only her. I wish Id gotten her name. She was so new that the manager did not even remember her name. Just that it started with an M. So i did let her manager know. Just could not get her name.Anyway, she was knowledgeable, did not rush me, and answered every question I had. I was most grateful.

Really nice people but Ive gotten my hair cut by 3 different people 3 different times and they have all messed up my hair leaving big gaps between layers so I have different noticeable lengths. I tried to get my hair dyed a light/medium ash brown and my hair is black! $100 down the drain. The stylist asked how I liked it and I said it was a little more dark than I wanted, she replied it looks great 😐

I called to ask about the status of the Jefree Star collection items in this particular store on Evans Street. The first girl who answered the phone was very nice but unhelpful. She put me on hold, where after about 3 minutes, a woman who I assume was the manager answered. She was extremely rude, and acted as if the question was interrupting something more important she had going on. She was short, snappy, and rude. 10/10 would recommend going to check the status of items in person or online rather than calling the actual store, and I’m sure the staff there would recommend the same, as to not interrupt or irritate them.

I left Ulta May of 2019 requarding false aquizations. 9 months later a manager texted and cursed at me and was very unprofessional. This needs to stop now. I am tired of being harrassed. I am finished with them. Why do they continue to keep such employees? How do they keep their position is beyond me. Does Ulta just not care who is representing the company?

Just in case anyone is expecting great customer service at this location - Greenville, NC - DON’T. It’s a small store, & they have tons of product, which is great. However, they are lacking in customer service.Today I went in to look for a new product. On Ulta.com it said ‘In Stock’ at this location (& trust me I understand that inventory systems may not be 100% accurate). The first person I asked was a specialist for a different brand. She was SO SWEET, & tried to help. When she couldn’t help she suggested I go up front to see if it was up there since sometimes they place new products at the front, or maybe someone up front could assist me. So I looked around a little more to try to find it, then went to the front to ask. I politely asked about the lipgloss, & before the associate (50 something lady with curly shoulder length dark hair) even looked around, or checked the warehouse, or their inventory system, she said that (online) an item can say ‘In Stock’ at that location, but it doesn’t mean anything. She said, “It means that it can be at a bigger store..but it’s not at this one.” So I said, “So you’re telling me that when an item says it is in stock in a particular store, that just means it can be in stock at ANY Ulta location?” (Like at any of their 1,000 stores...) She didn’t answer my question, but she responds with, “We can do store-to-door.” No thanks, I will order online on my own or go to Sephora just so that location doesn’t get credit for a sale they didn’t want anyway. I will never go to this store again. It also makes me wonder how many other people they don’t help & sales they don’t get because of it.

Im not from the area but Ive been in Ultas located in multiple states. This is by far the smallest one Ive ever been in. They were missing a few products, because of it. I went there for a too faced primer and they dont sell it. So I started checking out their other high end displays.. Almost all of them were missing products I can easily find at larger stores. It was a bit frustrating.

They SAVED my hair! I had box bleached it because ya know sometimes.... Idk it was a choice. It didnt bleach evenly and it looked like I did it myself. We stopped here to see if I could buy a glaze to cover it. The stylists saw me and convinced me to let them fix it up. Jessie did a great job and it still looks great 3 weeks later! They made sure they were helping me get the lowest price but the best treatment for my hair! Even though I looked like an idiot, I didnt feel judged and had a great time talking with Jessie. 10/10 would go back for hair styling

Twice now ive driven out of my way to this location to do a return and was told by the general manager that with online returns they dont give back tax. (which is illegal) I did end up getting my taxes back, but it really seems like this location does not know the policies. I am fortunate enough to know they cant just keep my tax money, but i fear someone else may just accept their response. i go to at least 4-5 other ulta locations and they always take care of everything with ease, grace and knowledge. if you dont know an answer its best just to say so instead of misleading a customer.

I hate this store!!They are always out of most popular items it seems as though they would know to order double of high demand items I have yet to see a fully stocked shelf. If youre a brown skin girl dont bother shopping in store Im sure they will not have your shade and please do your homework before shopping because staff wont be any help on product information. The only reason I still shop Ulta is for the rewards and they now carry Mac.

I feel so sad for the employees at ULTA Beauty. I worked at ULTA for 6 years andThere were only 2 of us left that was originally hired, myself and Tammy Boone. We have seen employees come and go including GMs but we were very dedicated to Ulta until one day I had enough! I was approach again with aquizations for the last time The GM, Savannah and DM, Kelly always conspiring against you unless you wanted to be a part of the backstabbing, lying, and so on. I was taken out to eat by a mngr. after I quit because she felt so bad about what happened, But she didnt want Savannah to know because she said other mngrs. would give her a hard time. So sad isnt it. Talking about controlling people. Well what goes around comes around, one day. It will catch up with you! Good luck to all ULTA employees.

Drove over an hour to get to Ulta. Was highly excited to purchase many items since this is the closest one to me. I couldnt find help when needed and when I did it was very rushed as if I was a burden. Needless to say, I left the store empty handed and dont plan to make return visits. This is one of the few places that my husband doesnt want to go with lol. They have everything from hair products and tools to lotions cologn makeup (best they have barminerals and now MAC!!! And so many other brands) & always someone there to help you always so nice will help you finding your shades and coverage you want and will professionally do your makeup you can also get your hair done here. and they have a great rewards and earning points is so easy. The staff made me feel as if I was not wanted in there store and after I had expressed I did not want any help. The same lady kept asking me if I need help and she would stand where she could stare at me like I was trying to steal or something. I think I will try going to another ULTA or not going at all. I will be letting everyone I know to stay away from that store.If this is how they treat Black customers then maybe they should hang a sign that says NO COLOREDS and be done with it.
