Needed a loan so I went to village pawn they gave me a loan on my item for a fair price they were also very friendly and professional just an all around good experience

Purchased 3 games for my kids and in a hurry, walked out of the store without the games. I literally drove to the school to pick my kids up and realized I forgot the games, drove back to the store to pick them up (I was no longer than 10-15 minutes) and was told they put my games I bought back on the shelves. I had to argue to get them back. I went in and put a review on and the owner called my phone and pleaded with me to remove the bad review. I am a LONG time good customer and he had my phone number. He said he would treat me fairly going forward so I took it down . This is the game he plays.Fast forward a year later, I had a tool on layaway and had to go out for major surgery. I was down for 6 weeks, thereafter. I asked the owner if he would work with me and he said “yes” (remember I have purchased thousands of dollars of merchandise from this place) and I needed to have it paid up by a certain date, that he would work with me. Later, he tells me I am going to lose the $125 I had paid on the power tool but I could pay an additional $90 on it! THIS IS A DISHONEST BUSINESS AND WILL SCAM YOU. If you are going to go to pawn shops in Greenville, AVOID these stores. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Ive been dealing with this chain of shops for almost 2 decades now. Theyve got clean stores with fair prices, a varied inventory, and knowledgeable staff willing to make a mutually beneficial deal. They take the stereotype of the shady pawn shop and chunks it in the trash.

I have been a loyal customer for over six years now. We have purchased anything from video games and entertainment systems to bicycles. They are always very thorough in checking out all the equipment before I take it home. Their staff has been very knowledgeable in all aspects of their products. Very warm and friendly environment. I would recommend anybody to go see them.
