Shelves rarely fully stocked, not very clean and too often its cash only because the card reader is down.Added some pics. Its like this EVERY. DAMN. DAY.

Opps this review was for the location on other side of 270 lmfo! This location is run down a n.v d dirty but the staff here are pretty decent and friendly, except one.The other store:The staff here are usually pretty friendly and helpful. Its so much nicer and cleaner than majority of dollar stores. They always have stuff in stock, unlike many others. The only thing I didnt care for was it reminded me if Walmart busy AF with one cashier lol

Always out of stock .and stock is always on the floor in the isles .from what ive seen very understaffed.Sellable product on the floor .closing .faceing restocking. Cleaning and sorting of shelves never done .The only thing that looks like someone in retail set it up or stocks it is the product the venders take care of themselves .Not that im lookin for a job, ive been doing mine 29yrs .But a good business person is always open to negotiations, i could 100 percent quarentee i could whip that store and a few others into well stocked, well maintained,community loved, profitable contribution to your company. This location is constantly closed due to staffing issues, tubs of merchandise blocking the isles because they have not unloaded or stocked their shelves, dirty as well.

Had everything I needed was in and out quick

I was very disappointed to see how messy and bad the storefront looked. The outside parking lot was littered. The inside was so dirty looking and overcrowded as always because they have their shipments come in and only depend on their cashiers to put things away and there was only one gentleman, that I seen and he very busy at the moment. It as around 3:45 p.m. I had asked to get the restroom key and he looked at me and said is it an emergency and I said that yes I have to use the restroom, he did give the key. I went back to the public restroom, it was out of order and said that I could go to employee restroom which look like it hasnt been touched in days it was filthy in there. The Corporation needs to give their employees help and not depend on one person to be in that store by them self. This company has to be making money!! HIRE MORE PEOPLE TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR STORES. I love the Dollar General store but it is disgusting to go in half of them anymore.

I always have a ball in Dollar General, always spend way too much money but the prices are fabulous !!!HOWEVER, i wanted to ask if they needed me to stock the shelves because they had 2 isles with nothing but boxes to be put away. Im not just talking about on the floor no theses had shelves and from top to bottom was packed of merchandise that needed put away. So yes the shelves are empty, but hey go look in the isles full of boxes...they probably have it.

This is the dirtiest store Ive ever seen! Ever isle had merchandise all over the floor! The guy running the register was very good & very nice, but Wow, the store was a complete mess!!

Nasty!! The carts are horrible DIRTY!! I ALWAY have wetwipesIn my purse. I cleaned off the handle of the cart & it turned the white wipe BROWN!!! As Im checking out I told the cashier & the look I got was very unpleasant. Didnt apologize or even say WE DONT CLEAN THE CARTS OFF AFTER CUSTOMER USE, cause I seen that with my own eyes..needless to say, Ill never go back to that location!!Grove City off 270 & Broadway....Nasty Store!!!

I went to get some household items, I could not get my cart down the isles I needed. Their truck came in and all the isles were full of cars with merchandise on them to be put out. I was so agitated I left my cart. Theb2 employees were standing behind the counter talking, one should had been out on the floor stocking shelves. There was not many ppl in the store and noone at the checkout. The prices are higher than krogers, doubt Ill be going back for anything. At least to that store.

A little messy and unkept but okay for emergencies.

Its like dinner and a show. My daughter was in from LA. She wanted to take her nephews and niece someplace different for different. We had the best time and great food. Its a little pricey but worth it!

Stock goes up and down places usually dirty slow to work the front desk but very friendly people

The isles were all cluttered the shelves were very bare they had so many carts lined up in the back aisle you couldnt get around you had to go in and out of the aisle from One direction the cashier was not friendly and didnt make conversation my experience was not good at all.

They have great prices. Well most are like any store. Most are great. Good price on Marie Calendars chick pot pie- oh so good.We check things like body wash, deodorant.People are friendly. The main problem I have with the store is I spend too much.lolWe go there, for instance, when coffee is on sale. We end up with $80 worth of a full shopping cart.Store is clean and well stocked.We go a couple of times a month.

Love shopping but need to clean up all the stores and make it more handicapped friendly. Isles to closely together and stuff everywhere. Pay them more per hour and give them help. Chain wide problem.

Most of the staff is very friendly and accommodating. John and Dustin the managers are great! They always help me find what Im looking for and John will even bring things to my car for me!

If I could give it no stars I would! The store was SO dirty! I would never buy anything there.. I had to use the restroom and there were dead bugs and spray all over.. Nit to mention it was filthy! Do yourself a favor.. Dont go!

Place is a mess very unorganized and nothing in stock

Most shoppin days are great but they have days they close early and unfortunately thats usually when I really need something.

The cashiers were friendly and busy stocking the shelves. The store was pretty messy and cold but they were on top of getting it together.

Had the best Black Friday deals. Was able to shop for most the family. I also go there other times as well. Staff is sweet, they are genuinely kind. Prices rock. Prefer Dollar General over Family dollar because they have more selections.

I love this store prices are great...but the only problem that I have on each and every visit when I go there is that they either dont hire and keep enough check out people or they are just lazy people and refuse to come out of the break room and help check out people in order to get the lines down. Half the time i get so mad that i put my stuff down, they lose a sale and I end up spending a dollar or more somewhere else in order to not have to stand in line all evening. People behind me in line also curse and leave, so its not just me. While this is my only complaint its a big enough complaint to make me think SERIOUSLY twice before recommending their store to other people.

The store clerks are nice but the store is always a mess. I don’t know if they’re short staffed or what the reasoning is but every time I go it’s cluttered and messy.

Ive tried to go to this location 4-5 times this month already (closest place to my house) and every time I go they’re closed and it’s been fairly early in the day. One day it’s closed at 6pm. Then 4pm. Then 2pm. I understand the store is short staffed, but when I went today, there was 2-3 employees in the store with the lights on standing around with a sign on the door that said “power outage, awaiting maintenance”. I went last week and one of the workers locked himself out of the store with people inside and had to flag a customer down to let him back inside. It seems like they do whatever they want all because they get away with it. DG’s corporate needs to stop looking over this store and either shut it down or fix all these issues.

Not clean or even near clean & the lighting is very dark. I wont go back for that reason.

Second time visiting this location in the past month. Watch your sale items. They dont ring up correctly. Had to bring it to the attention of the clerk. They had to stop and go back into the store to check the shelf tag in order to correctly ring up my purchase.

Most of the time I love dollar general. The day I went they were closed. Very disappointing

Shelves we empty, the store was a mess. there were several isles that were full of new inventory boxes which prohibited a shopping cart from going through.

Was nice when it first opened but has quickly became a disorganized mess. There always seem to be carts with product to be stocked blocking the isles. The parking lot is disgusting... Liter and trash everywhere, and almost always an employee out front smoking.

Would give no stars if I could. Bought charger that said it was for iPhone half hour later returned because it did not fit my iPhone. Then they said I could only do exchange, only one that would work was double priced at 15. No return on electronics even 30 mins later on misrepresented product? Wow.Manager chantelle was on cell phone entire first visit. She was rude and hard to find on my return visit. I will not be back.

The Manager is Awesome and the people are very nice and helpful.

The floors in this new store are filthy and the shelves were completely disorganized. When speaking with the young clerk trying to explain that their shelves and products were not marked with the correct advertised sale price, he stared off and did nothing or said anything to remedy the problem. This was my first and last visit to this Dollar General.
