You can find mostly all daily needs Indian items at a cost-effective price there locally in the Gurnee and nearby areas. This place can do even better with a slight bit more focus on customer service. I heard they applied for catering services license. Looking forward to having that start soon.

So dirty place, owner even dont say hi, his attitude is rude, some one felt outside the store by door, he didnt come out, you can find expired grocery in store, check before you pay. Hard to walk in else.

This small shop is run by a very helpful staff. Though I have visited many times in the past, this week I sent my father with a request. When he couldnt find it, the salesman was willing to talk to me on the phone to be sure he was selling us the correct herbs. I was impressed he was willing to take the time to figure out exactly what I needed even though I wasnt there. Thanks!

Ilsya fish is very nicely kept and freshly frozen. Price is reasonable too. Though you have to cut it at home - but it is still better than many other Bangladeshi stores.

I will tell you this: 19 years living in Gurnee, I came to know and appreciate the previous owner who was a REAL INDIAN!The difference with new owner (Hindu vs Moslem aside) is the surly, penny pinching trend toward downbranding, dishonest practice of shelf pricing not honored at register, and unapologetic substitution of subpar products.I regularly used to buy Deep brand jar pastes and curry powders. Today, I purchased a couple bags of some off brand garbage - owner claimed he didnt know Deep until I showed him their garam masala on HIS OWN SHELF! Stuff I bought smelled & tasted like DIRT - its going back, but IM NOT!!!

Its a go to place for desi (pak&indian) groceries. Prices are good comparable to devon chicago. There are other desi grocery stores in my neighbourhood but they are expensive than untied groceries. I appriciate value and quality and variety of the groceries here. I would highly recomend this store.

Very worst customer service and had worst experience as I had to leave the place because he wont accept a card payment below $10 not even debit card . He dont appreciate a customer at all. I shopped at this place for last 4 months one or twice every week. As I dont do bulk shopping my balance is usually below 10. Today I could not make a purchase and had to leave the place embarrassed.I was treated very badly.Never SHOPPING here again.
