Experience was ok, it was average. Look pretty clean and decent at least the trash on the diesel island wasn’t all over the ground. Over all the store looked good.

For a newer building its pretty dirty and ran down. Showers dirty. Calcium build up looking like youre inside a cave. The best part was watching the porter pick up trash while cleaning the bathroom with gloves. Then to turn around an use the same gloves to give me a towel. Water stinks like sulfur water heater. Horrible. Staff lazy wont help to save a life.

Very disappointed with my Cinnabon’s they barely had frosting as well as were stale. First time I’ve seen them this sad definitely should put more effort when prepping them.

Clean place. Doesnt seem like the kinda place you are likely to wake up minus a few possessions. But it is yet another pilot/ flying j parking lot obviously designed by someone who has never pulled a trailer of any kind

This place os ok. Inside it has a Dennys which is a plus. The bathrooms are nice and clean. Service was nice and I see the employee maintaining the place neat and tidy service was fast in the parking lot was okay I like the entrance its easy to go in and out and I also like the way you can get out its right there in the parking lot which makes it a super plus

Typical Pilot gas station. Love the Dennys it is attached to. As with other stations there are times when you have to go inside to get a receipt because the pump is out of paper.

Very tight parking so be very careful when you’re trying to park and second lot towards exit is better than the first one so you know is just Pilot. Good luck

No parking on a Sunday morning because of attached Dennys. Much nicer atmosphere and service at racetrac or Wawa. They had no breakfast items available at 900 am..except cinnamon buns. This is really for mainly truckers

Limited parking for trucks... everything is kind of new. Lots of businesses around it. I like it, but driver lounge needs improvement... showers... restrooms...dirty. I took a shower and it was dirty. What do I mean? Understand drivers go in and out of showers. Having an employee picking up dirty towels after drivers doesnt mean shower has been cleaned. The same white employee was told to clean the restrooms and he seemed to be in a rush to clean the girls restroom. Truck drivers burn lots of money buying fuel. It was Pilot and Flying J commitment to provide a safe, clean and comfortable truck stop for truck drivers. Advertising FREE WI-Fi and not been able to use it, its not FREE at all. Just another scam to drivers, just like Pilot and flying J cheated owner operators and trucking companies over fuel rebates. This place failed.

I would give this gas station 5 stars but the thing is that it’s a little too expensive with certain things (alcohol and drinks in general) and to be honest it’s a little dingy in here but back to the positive. I had the best experience tonight because I got one of the best pizzas (not kidding) in Haines city. The person helping me was really thoughtful and sweet. I really appreciate it when people go out of their way for me especially at night. Something else I would like to add is that you can buy lightbulbs here for your car and other emergency vehicles things. Just because Walmart is closed at night now. Overall come here for the gas station food and don’t buy anything else. Cheers.

They allow truckers to park and go home, and to drop trailers and go home. Its gotten steadily worse here. At just after 1pm I was unable to find a parking spot. Only 2 reserved spots were open and I will only pay for a spot when in dire need (like too low hours). I went down the street 16 miles to the new Loves and found good parking. Plus the Pilot is so dated and dirty. Mostly because so many people frequent the store that it is hard to keep up. The ladies room wasnt up to Pilot standards either.

This place is kinda good exept they have trailers dropped here for more than a week taking up space really dirty bathrooms i mean they dont clean nothing in the showers and the worse the shower locks dont work had someone walk in on me really disapointing.

Make sure you get your prime parking paid before about 1pm. They sell out quick. Place fills up early. Great staff. Easy spots for reserved not so easy for the little free they have. Pilot cafe or dennys both decent. Showers are hot and clean. They have a couple slot machines. Walmart two blocks down. Wendys in parking lot. Bbq across the street.

Good fountain drinks. Not much free parking. Lot fills up by 3pm

Amber Rose is very pleasant every morning and makes an amazing cup of iced coffee. Raven makes the best cinnabons and always has a smile on her face when I see her. Holly and Angela are the dynamic duo of the front end, and always make me feel like I am in a live filming of an episode of I love Lucy. The laughter never stops with their interactions with all the customers and truckers. Great Job Pilot team in Haines City!!!! 😆

Had an excellent experience over the Thanksgiving weekend at this Pilot. Purchased reserved parking a few weeks in advance, but got there all the spaces were full.Did not have to say anything twice as the nice lady (who either is or should be the Manager) immediately got right on it by printing out a list of what should be there. She then went out there and opened up spaces. I very much appreciate her doing this and not asking me to be the bad guy like they did a month ago on Marion Illinois.Thanks to the professional, efficient and friendly staff. Ill be back.

I generally just stop for a gas and go here but I have been inside on occasion. This a very large station with a good sized store. Service inside moves quickly and you can get in and out fast. Overall a good station.

Shower was clean and nice and hot, but the 3rd shift cashier took so long to print a fuel receipt that I gave up and walked out without buying anything. What have been different if every other employee wasnt somewhere else at the time.

Went to use the RV dump station and it was full, we were only dumping water. The mess couldve been really bad. They were very nonchalant, saying l guess well have to get it pumped out. Pilot doesnt seem to appreciate the RVers like they used to. Wouldnt recommend.

I was stop for 30minutes break . There was no any empty parking spot. The guys pull out from reserve parking spot . I was thinking I should parked for 30minutes break. The lady name is Holley come from inside store and told me to move just for 30minutes. She (Holley ) told me, she is going to call the cops and she (Holley) did too. Coz I was a Asian boy so, she did this to me. There was a lots of others driver sitting in Reserve parking spot too. She (Holley) did not do anything to other driver. Coz I was a Asian .

Best one Ive been at yet. Place is clean, service is great and the the people are awesome. If you want fast and friendly this is the place.

Showers are always a mess.I am very disappointed with this Pilot.They only mop the bathroom floor, but nothing in the shower area.Funguses, molds, human hair, and even fingerprints with grease.They find it difficult to spray chlorox??As the Pilot app does not have the option to review or comment, you can see the photos here on Goggle and comment. I hope they are ashamed and start cleaning up.

I want to thank the pilot in Haines City, these guys were all class acts, in my 30 + years in the trucking industry I have never met more curtious and professional people Holly and Jamie were very very pleasant, they helped me get my pilot card set up so I could park. The store was clean taking into consideration they are ALWAYS busy and the burritos are great! I will definitely be coming back to this store!

I am very displeased with the type of people you hire. Today around roughly about 6:30 am, I was in the store and I witness what seem to be a young gentleman by the name of Luke getting very upset and angry with the older lady that deals with the food. I saw the tray almost hit her. Now I stop here about every morning and I’ve never in my years of coming here seen anyone act out of anger like that gentleman did. But I will tell you this. Seeing how unprofessional it was. I will not be returning.

Employees not wearing masks July 15, 2019. While Covid skyrockets! Well she was wearing a mask but it was on her chin LOL.

Employees are rude and great at ignoring patrons standing at the counter. Gossip and love life is more important than work. Company wise they are gouging their cigarette customers, prices almost double everywhere else. Never going back and spreading the word!

I was in a non-reserve parking spot and the night manager woke me up and told me to move... after a 1200 mile trip I was very tired... I will Never stop here again never... Im contacting corporate on this pilot truck stop because I believe this place is needs new management... I spend at least 3500 a month in fuel at pilot I deserve better respect than this!!!!

Very dirty showers

I-4 area truck stop. Both good and not so much...some staff members r great and others dont care. Dude working register to night was 10+ deep in drivers and was alone but rocking it. Wifi is solid, lot packed but always is. Night manager nowhere to be seen and other cashier was on break or some chit. If the guy in super hero T-shirt is the manager then great if not corporate has a good candidate. Typical night at this locale. Food quality is always consistent.

Worst company. China Bartow is the worst manager in management. Now being a regular and seeing her. To me she seems like a c**t and doing this for the money. I don’t know how she got management maybe crying wolf like everyone else poor me poor me. She don’t even know how to run the place. Things for the workers THEY never seem to have anything that they need. Ran out of tape the other day how why. You’re a travel center. You mean to tell me that China. Doesn’t care what her team needs.If they fail, YOU FAIL.Its crazy and it’s supposed to be a friendly happy environment but the root of that starts with management.Then on top coffee is crazy 1.59$ for a small coffee. If I filled up with loves I get free coffee. Showers take forever to clean depending on who’s on shift. Cayce is great always getting things done correctly and makes sure it’s done right very nice super respectful even helps you out when there’s not much parking.Amber Rose is great Just her name alone is an attention grabber. her smile lights up the room. If you need something to smile at and brighten up your day that girl is the one to go to. She’s nice, respectful, helps me out every time I come in.

I haven’t been inside yet to take my shower but this is in the parking lot. It’s disgusting and behind my truck my husband went to walk Tuxedo this morning and noticed very foul smell and piss jugs every where. Tuxedo went to examine the smell. Some driver threw a whole box of Tyson chicken on the ground soon as my puppy 🐶 smelled the box he took off a baby gator was on guard in the water behind the fence watching his chicken. You know not to put food down in a gator area but some idiot did just that. So because I know gator insight they come out in the morning because the hate cold but since we in Florida they pretty much roam all day in the sun. Pilot needs to get out here and clean up.

The male cashier working there right now is extremely rude and unprofessional and will be called in to corporate.

My husband has been a truck driver for 30 yrs and pilots are a place where he fuels.I was at the pilot in Haines City purchased gas and went inside to buy snacks as Im waiting in line the cashier was more interested in socializing with a co- worker than waiting on the customer.I was just watching and listening to them chat about scheduling and work hrs.I have been in customer service for many yrs.There is none anymore.The worker putting the food out just threw the food in the warmer with no regards for the ppl expecting to eat it.What kind of management is running that place that their employees dont follow the rules.I will not be returning to that location.Its not the first time I have seen this occur.Its really sad.

The other day when I was in the pilot. I had went over to Denny’s waiting in line to be seated. However 2 of pilots employees Sara and a female with glasses, came Barging over, cut in front of everyone as if they were more important then the guest in line. Crazy pilot crazyI tried getting an receipt printed out and order receipt that China needed to look for. I don’t know if I caught her on a bad day. But she was really rude and Ignorant don’t bring personal home problems to work.

I stopped at pilot the other day. For $12 I took a shower. The shower facilities were nice. The coffee was good. Then I was back on the road. My experience was great.

The coffee area during the week is spectacular. Amber Rose is the type of employee we need to all aspire to be.

I read the reviews and thought, give them the benefit of the doubt. Wrong choice. Called to see if they filled propane tanks and lady just gave one word answers. Yes! I asked if I just park by the tanks and walk in, yep! Okay. That was all. I get down there to watch the staff behind the counter not paying any attention to customers, playing around, reading jokes to each other and just plain old no caring about the fact that each register was at least 4 people deep. Finally get my turn and ask to have my tank filled and the guy tells me, oh, we out of propane! Not we are. I simply said, why didn’t the girl say that on the phone, just got a blank stare. Really! What a joke! Guess I should have listened to the reviews. Just pay at the pump and leave this station or boycott it all together. Waste of space people work their, and it seems it’s going to stay that way. I get better customer service at Walmart.

Lisa Hoffman (Employee) is the BEST! Anytime we are there she is amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly, she makes you feel like family. She is the reason we only stop at Pilot.

Go to a fuel station to get fuel but cashier says no fuel, updating our system. Why not update half the system at one time? Or take cash?

My experience was awful. I usually use ta/petro which is more driver friendly but there were none around. I had to stop for my break and about 7 hours in I get rudely woken up by a store worker asking me to move. Drivers stated complaining they couldn’t get through but all the 7 hours drivers were getting through fine until a swift driver couldn’t get through. The manager and driver insisted on banging on my door hard enough to leave little dents waking me up again. They lady was calling me a cracker and threatening to have her son come (beat me up) I’ve been driving for over 15 years and never had a problem like this. If you can’t fit a rig through a small space you should have your cdl revoked. As for the lady I’m getting my lawyer involved and there will be a lawsuit against that pilot. I would not recommend this pilot. The bathrooms are disgusting. The showers never get cleaned and the workers are nasty and hateful towards driver. Again they will be getting sued for putting dents in my door.

515 am no coffee. Lady says shes on her lunch break making coffee. Clerk at the register also says that shes the only one working also informed her about the coffee...poor management at a high traffic locationHow can you be a truck stop and be out of coffee at 0500???

Truck drivers for the record ......someone started a rumor that this place closed up in the last few days because of ...... Well any speculation here will work. The thing is they are not and have not been shut down as ofMarch 26th 2020 so if you are looking for parking go for it.

Pilot staff friendly and helpful. Dennys sucks. Only one worth talking to was server. They served me barely warm english muffin with flecks of green stuff on it. The manager tried to excuse this with we use the same knives to cut avocados. What you cant clean the knife. Sorry lot here. AVOID! I posted pics of my replacement muffins and my main order. Smh.

Friendly staff, plenty of parking, connected to Dennys. Has showers, laundry, well lit. Also offers accessories and supplies for your traveling needs. Also a place to pick up some tourist gifts and keepsakes.

Dont use your cards here! Either the pumps have SKIMMERS on them as of July 22, 2018, or they are simply scammers. The pumps are so far away from the desk that the girls at the register dont even know the pump numbers. The moment I entered my card an attempt to charge 500 dollars in fuel was made. I went to a Auto pump and tried again and they attempted to charge 76 dollars - both were blocked by Bank of America, and so my card is now useless while traveling.

Maintenance stays busy here, pressure washing, stocking n maintaining fuel lines for all needs, and many other tasks. Jason, Justin & Rick were all very friendly when it came to helping me with my car while broke down & helping me find my destination.Unfortunately Inside staff on my last visit, particularly the cashiers were busy amongst themselves gossipping, I could over hear them complaining about having to accommodate certain customers whom they found unappealing or annoying. Meanwhile another customer & myself stood waiting to pay for our fuel and were growing impatient with the completely rude n unprofessional behavior from the staff inside who should be supervised or retrained. The entire store n staff used to be much friendlier n I am disappointed to have to lower my review rating.

We stayed near here on vacation. Went in to get a Pilot Rewards card and the staff were friendly and helpful. We use Pilot/Flying J on our travels instead of Roadside rest stops because they are big, clean and friendly.

They bake and sell full size CINNABON here. The only place I know of South of Universal Studios. And they’re good! Cinnabon needs to be added as a business on google maps for this location!!

Went to get a shower, the computer gave me the shower number and when I open the door there was a man in there. When I complain they said there was something wrong with their computer system. They then got me a shower that had a filthy fan in it. Makes you wonder how much they clean the rest of it.

Absolutely ridiculous that you can never park here as an over the road driver. All these local guys leaving their truck and going home. I wish someone would start doing something to prevent this!

Im not buying these reviews. Shower wasnt clean and when I asked for two extra towels (to put on floor because it was dirty) I was told by the the attendant on duty that I could only have one, with a sour attitude to boot. I understand that us truck drivers are the scum of the earth and are not needed, however, that aside, I pay out the tailpipe for these services. All Im asking for is a few extra towels. Is that asking too much?

Always give me good service no matter when I come in,good clean showers and nice employees willing to help you with anything you want. Now parking is another story, lot fills up around 4:30 to 5:00 so get in early if you want to stay for ten.

Hate to rate the whole truck stop because of the dennys thats attached to it but me and my wife ordered two blt sandwiches and left 45 mins later with no sandwiches and when asked how long it would b the cook said i have no idea....

Just started stopping here. I had to weigh my load 3 times each time it was wrong. The third time it was correct they charged me $2 but they took out $10.50 out of $20....had to go back in a 3rd time to get the right receipt. No one knows whats going on in this place and they didnt care!!! I was so frustrated with them..I will never go back!!

BEWARE $151 ADDITIONAL AMOUNT ON YOUR CREDIT CARD BY PILOTWe spend our winters at a park close to this Pilot. Easy in and out for our 38 motor home pulling a car. RV pumps set up separate from car pumps, and large rig diesel pumps. Today for the first time a $151 extra hold put on our credit card, plus actual $27 charge for gas. I called the Pilot thinking my card had been slimmed to let them know the pump used. The lady at Pilot told me they from time to time put the $151 amount on hold until bank honors our card. She said if the charge doesnot come off in a week or two to come into station and have removed. We have used this station reguraly the past couple winters, today first time for this $151 hold. There maybe a notice on pumps about this practice, I did not see, however we use our credit card to pay at gas pumps instead of going inside standing in line and estimating how much gas to fill our tank. Pilot please explain this policy, from other reviews people think Pilot over charging $151, I personally do not think this, but do not want to see large holds on my credit card account, which we check online offen. I am sure other customers feel the same.UPDATE : LESS THAN 24 HRS LATER $151 AMOUNT OFF OUR ACCOUNT. THEY CALL IT A PREAUTHORIZATION AMOUNT. STILL LIKE TO HEAR FROM PILOT ABOUT THIS UNUSUAL POLICY? ?Update 11-28-17: Talked with Pilot Flying J cooperate office. The $151 preautorization is not a charge, but currently posted by Visa until your charge amount less than $$151 has cleared your bank. Pilot selected the $151 amount used by Visa at their stations. New Crédit laws passed by Congress during previous administration made this possible. It used to be $1.00 preautorization to verify your account. Also applies to debit cards, $151 each time used, beware if on week end, or holidays when banks closed could exceed your limit.
