I moved from the lock-up (just down the street ) because when I went in for info, they were 10 times more professional with no hidden costs ... couldn’t be happier!! Bigger unit for less $$ !!

These guys are great!!! I needed a hitch and bike rack for my van and I reluctantly traveled here from Stamford because no one else could help me out for a month. I think I would actually go there to do business again because they were so helpful and did a GREAT job very quickly. I was so surprised at how fast they got it done! I was out of there in no time. I saw employees actually jogging through the store to help people! Ive been enjoying the bike rack so much that Im just getting around to writing a review.......

Anyone who has moved has their share of horror stories. My experience here today was anything but that. The crew here was fantastic from the first call i made yesterday, to my late call to extend my reservation, to finally the superb customer service Matthew gave us when i returned to setup storage. Cant say enough how absolutely thrilled i was with this experience. My best to date.

Had trucks in stock for a same-day reservation, good customer service and convenient.

Went there to buy Packing boxes for dishes and glasses. I purchased 2 kits that supposedly came with a box, dividers and packing envelopes. Imagine my surprise when I opened them to find that there were NO boxes. Just the dividers and the foam. I had to do to stop what I was doing and purchase boxes.

John is the best manager Ive ever encountered at a U-HAUL location. Professional, calm, and able to manage several clients at once. Hes been helping me with a huge billing snafu with the central office and has been nothing but helpful and professional. His team, also, is incredibly knowledgeable and equally as professional. Bravo to this office, and thank you to the team!

Theres a five star team at the U-Haul Facility of Hamden. Each of the staff members were helpful, courteous and extremely knowledgable. They answered questions and provided top notch assistance which made me feel valued as a customer. The level of service and professionalism definitely exceeded my expectations. Overall this was a positive experience and I would be happy to use this facility again.
