My sales person was Hannah and I definitely would recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. My entire experience working with her was exceptional like she was just awesome! There was some cosmetic work (scratches & paint chips) that I wanted buffed out/repaired before I signed all of my paperwork and paid and she was able to get that done for me within a reasonable amount of time. Hannah kept in contact with me during that week and updated me constantly on the status of the repairs! She even texted me pictures of the car after everything was fixed! I live in Baltimore county (1 hour away) and instead of me having to drive up to PA multiple times, Hannah & Angela (finance woman) were so thoughtful in agreeing to UPS overnight me the paperwork to start the process while the cosmetic work was being fixed. This definitely saved me multiple drives back and forth! The day of the signing and car pickup was so bittersweet. I’m very young and this was my first “grown up” purchase so Hannah surprised me by putting balloons and a big red bow on my car🤩! I was almost in tears because this was so thoughtful and kind! I’ve heard horror stories about young people getting bamboozled and treated horribly at car dealerships and I’m so grateful that Hannah and Angela kept it 💯 with me from start to finish and never tried to get over on me not once. The last thing I’ll say is that my birthday recently passed and Hannah sent me a birthday email and also called to wish me a happy birthday 🎉 - It’s really the little things that make all the difference! Just visited and bought a brand new Atlas this weekend and I could not have asked for a better experience. The dealership itself is stunning very welcoming and clean. I used to bring my old car here for service because a friend works here. I happened to see a beautiful Tiguan for sale a few months ago and was lucky enough to buy it. I’ve always had a great experience here and highly recommend to anyone! I just picked my car up today and the level of care and perfectionism that went into the work and cleaning was way beyond what I expected. I vacuumed my car last week and even though my floors were almost spotless, they still vacuumed it anyway. The little things like that go a long way in my eyes. From sales to finance to service and management - everyone is great.

I purchased a 2018 used Atlas from Travis here. I drove pretty far to get to this dealership and they all appreciated my business. I never felt pressured by Travis and he was immediately responsive over text/calls with my questions over the course of a week. He even came in on his day off to start processing the sale! Usually you can end up with a cool sales person but then the Finance manager tells you to buy a warranty or your head will fall off. Not here, she explained to me the pricing and options but did not lock me in a room and basically force me to buy it. The Finance manager was extremely kind, this place is really awesome. Couldnt beat the prices either!

Once coming to Volkswagen for my first time. I notice I liked a Hyduai genesis coupe 2010. But, when asking the sales rep about car fax and maintenance he had no knowledge about the vehicle. I have checked out the vehicle very closely and when going out for a test drive it had no gas at all. It was literally almost a E which isn’t professional for testing out a vehicle. It gets better when opening the door for the car. It was a mess, not clean, trashed, etc! As a dealership I would at least give it a quick wash, vacuum, and clean the rims up. If you guys have time to do expection and emmison and remove a after market exhaust. You could have time to at least make it look presentable for “car buyers” once upon trying to settle a deal with the dealer. The manger wanted an amount I don’t think it was a fair price. Front and rear bumper were misplaced (pretty sure was in a accident) and not good, rims were destroyed very bad “scrapes all around the rims”, scratches on paint. I should of taken photos about this day so I would have proof. Once upon leaving the sales rep or manger didn’t even offer me the car fax report I requested about the vehicle. I have even signed up on their online request form about the vehicle and haven’t received anything through my email. I purchased a used Golf at Hanover VW about a month ago. Both Elizabeth and Alex in sales were great from the get go. Friendly and accommodating. They answered any questions I had, and I felt like a valued customer even before I purchased a vehicle. I recently had a few issues repaired under the limited warranty. Dominic and the service department did a great job on the repairs, and I had my vehicle back in a timely manner. Overall, I feel Hanover VW has a great team and is a great place to go when searching for your next car.

Purchased a vehicle from salesman, Travis King one week ago. We had been looking for a Volkswagen Passat TDI for a few weeks and are so pleased we decided to go with Volkswagen of Hanover. Wonderful experience buying a Golf Alltrack from Hanover Volkswagon! From the moment I called and spoke with Travis, it was a painless process from start to finish. There was no high pressure sales and I felt like he listened to what I wanted, not what he wanted to sell me. I was pleasantly surprised when I went to sign the final papers to see a giant red bow on my new car! They even delivered my car to my home! What more could you ask for?

Dealership took a $500 deposit from us on a commitment to locate a vehicle to our specification.The commitment was to hold the check and not deposit it with a commitment to locate the vehicle the next day.After numerous calls to see if they found the vehicle eventually they said they could not find it. On that call we asked them to destroy the check which they agreed they would.Not only did they not destroy the check they deposited the check. Fortunately about a week later I noticed the check had cleared and posted on our account. The dealership did not notify us.After several calls to dealership we got the run around about what happened. Never got a reason why they deposited the check and they did not inform us.They promised to mail a refund check that day.After 2 weeks the check did not arrive we called the dealership again. No contact - no call from the dealership. Eventually we got a response. We were told they did not have our address. The had a photocopy of our drivers license and we filled out a form with our information.We called again and gave the address to the dealership. Again they promised to mail a check.It has now been 12 days since we last spoke to them and no check.The people including the sales leadership are incompetent and in my opinion not to be trusted.I would never use this dealership again.UPDATE 2/17/20: Over a month from our original discussion of destroying the check we received the check.

We just had an amazing experience at Hanover! We found our dream SUV (2019 Atlas) posted by HVW on Car Guru and requested more information on a Saturday evening. No exaggeration, Elizabeth called us a few minutes later (probably right around closing time). We couldn’t believe how fast she got in touch with us and greatly appreciated all of her efforts throughout... she answered all of my husband’s questions and sent additional pictures of the vehicle upon request. We were pretty uneasy at first with the idea of purchasing a car 4 hours away from where we live, but Elizabeth made the whole process easy and seamless. When there were some small issues with the CPO Golf we purchased, the team arranged to pick up our vehicle (Thanks Darlene!), leave us a loaner car for a day, and then deliver the vehicle in perfect shape the next day. My husband and I looked at a car on a Saturday at the dealership. After thinking about it all weekend, we decided to purchase it. I talked to the sales manager at approximately 11:30 am Monday morning and left him know that we wanted the car and I had a check (I did not finance with them because they could not touch the interest rate that I received). We set up an appointment for 4:15 that same day. About an hour before our appointment I received a text from the salesman that someone else was looking at the car that I was to be buying and he’d let me know if it sold. I tried calling to find out what was going on and no one would answer. My husband and I decided to head to the dealership early and once I pulled into the parking lot I finally received a phone call back saying that the car was sold and that it’s in their policy that they can’t hold cars! This so called policy was never explained and is an absolute joke! After speaking to another car dealership, they explained that they would hold the car for days if I needed them to so I could get finances in order! No one likes purchasing a car and Hanover VW made the experience ten times worse! Absolutely horrible customer service and will never purchase a car from this location or Hanover Auto Team.

I made an appointment for an oil change and went to the dealership at the appointed time. Unfortunately, due to an error on my part, I was there a week early! Not to worry though. Thanks to Gerrys intervention, our vehicle was taken to the service area and the requested service was completed; as was a recall service. Our experience with Dominic (I think that is spelled correctly) and Gerry made the entire, potentially embarrassing, event into a nonevent by taking care of the car today. We were extremely grateful for the courtesy and flexibility shown by Hanover Volkswagen. And, to our delight, while we were paying the bill, another gentleman went out and cleaned the rims and tires. It is this type of customer care that keeps us coming back.We would highly recommend this dealership!

Do not bring your car here for an inspection. They offer free car inspections for a reason. That reason is they will find anything they can to charge thousands for a repair. Was told I had a rubber bushing in control arm that was a little torn months ago. The lady at the time said the car was completely safe to drive. Fast forward 5 months later and now that they are doing the inspection it needs to be fixed. Of course the entire arm needs to be replaced for 1200 dollars because Volkswagen doesn’t make a rubber bushing only. Immediately called another inspection garage and the mechanic laughed. It’s a safety inspection. Car isn’t supposed to be factory new. Needless to say we won’t be buying another Volkswagen and we sure as hell won’t be bringing our car back to them. I think the ladies name is Shannon. She is extremely rude and unprofessional. Volkswagen should do itself a favor and get rid of this person. Have never dealt with anyone so rude. Beware of Hanover Volkswagen!!!

Took my Audi there for service this morning and had a great experience. Dom in the service department was a pleasure to deal with and he spent time speaking with me twice on the phone before my appointment. The service appointment was quick and efficient and their rates are very competitive. They didnt try to sell me a bunch of extra service that wasnt needed. A+ service overall!One thing I will say is this, dont leave a voicemail for the service manager (Shannon, I think?) and expect a call back. I left her a voicemail over a month ago and never heard back. No point in having a voicemail if youre not going to be responsible enough to call your clients back.

It took over one month to find a vehicle my wife would love to drive. We stopped in at Hanover Volkswagen after seeing a vehicle on their website. Chris Eason was eager to assist us and set us up for a test drive. Chris rode along with us and shared all of his knowledge along the way. Low pressure, Chris asked us how we wanted to proceed. They allowed us to take it to our mechanic to have it looked over before we purchased it. Everything looked good except for an issue with the alignment on the front tires. We arrived back at the dealership with what we had found. Chris seemed truly disappointed something was wrong with the vehicle. He talked to Brad Smith the GM and without a second thought they told us they would fix it. Chris kept us updated and let us know as soon as the vehicle was ready. They let us get the vehicle checked out a second time by our mechanic with no complaints. They gave us a more than fair price and paid off our existing car loan. We took the vehicle home and the next day we started to hear a strange noise coming from the drivers side. I contacted Chris that night and he set me up to get the vehicle looked at the next day. They got us a loaner car and fixed the problem with the brakes at no cost to us. We didnt even have to wait 24 hours for them to have it fixed and ready for us to pick it up!Hanover Volkswagen took care of us at every turn. I truly appreciate all of the help from Chris, Brad, and Jesse. I would definitely recommend buying a vehicle with these guys.

Every single employee of this dealership, even the ones not directly involved in the sale who passed us in the showroom, was friendly and inviting. I drove over 450 miles from North Carolina to purchase a Jetta TDI. I worked with Alex Andros throughout the process and he was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely friendly and professional, and answered my dozens of questions over the phone. He did a complete walk around of the vehicle and even drove it and reported back to me via phone, since I was calling from out-of-state. The car was in perfect condition and was exactly what I expected when I arrived. The entire staff at Hanover VW was friendly and their hospitality was much appreciated. They were kind enough to invite our dog inside to hangout after the 8 hour drive. Austin, in finance, was friendly and the process was very quick. This dealership has terrible customer service the dealership dose not care they refuses to help anyone after they make a sale. the manager Brad was extremely rude and disrespectful and im very unhappy with the dealership and Volkswagen the cars are horribly built im a mechanic so i know about cars and trucks stay far away from this dealership and Volkswagen

Bought a used 2014 Volkswagon last evening with a warranty, salesman was fantastic however shame on me for not taking the car to a mechanic prior to buying however 15 minutes after leaving the dealership I took the car to my mechanic and found out that the front brakes would only last 1 more month, even though the car was just inspected. The back brakes where new.....I called the dealership and spoke to Brad the General Manager and they wanted to charge us $314.00 to replace the front brakes and they would cover the labor, Brad indicated I should have known when you are buying a used car that this should be expected. This is the 2nd car that I bought from them, not only did Brad tell me that I was aggressive, I simply indicated that there were 2 choices, Hanover Volkswagon pay for this or I would return the car with no hard feelings. Not once did I raise my voice however I am extremely disappointed at how Brad was so unprofessional. Prior to this.... I requested the salesman to send me information on another Volkswagon I was interested in that was not yet on the lot, they have 100% lost my business.

I found a 2018 VW Tiguan that I loved on their website so my husband and I stopped by to check it out. Well, that evening we left with the car! We did not anticipate making a purchase that night but we were offered a deal we couldnt refuse and the process was so smooth and simple, we couldnt have been happier! After we told Steven we were interested in buying the car, we also let him know the offers we already had on financing through our own bank and for our old vehicle. I did not anticipate the dealership being able to offer anything close to either of the offers we already since our bank offered us the lowest rate they had and the offer we had on our car was already thousands above what the dealership we bought it at offered us. Well, to our amazement, Hanover VW offered us a competitive offer on our vehicle AND was able to get us financing that was .25% lower than our bank even offered. A couple hours later we left with our 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan and said goodbye to our old vehicle. Our sales specialist and the finance manager stayed several hours after closing to finalize our deal and we were even offered store credit to spend while we waited since there was one other person in front of us to handle the paperwork.Aside from the dealership getting us such an impressive deal, I also loved that not ONCE during this experience did I feel uncomfortable or like I was being lied/fibbed to. Unfortunately, you hear horror stories about dealerships exaggerating the truth or negotiating a deal that really isnt a deal. Overall, our experience at VW Hanover was incredible and we were truly amazed. Thanks to Steven and Austin for being so amazing and accommodating. We will refer everyone we know in the market for a car to your dealership! Thank you both.

Sheesh I LOVE this dealership, the seating the tv the merchandise- the free drinks and snacks- it makes waiting for service entertaining....but I can’t give 5 starts because their new vehicle inventory is soooo slim - bummer. The service team is awesome but the sales team could be better.

Best service experience that I’ve ever had at a dealership. Shannon the service manger was cordial from the time I walked into the dealership. The dealership is extremely clean and all the vehicles on the showroom floor were PRISTINE! I worked full time in sales at a dealership in the DC area and the cars on the floor were usually somewhat dirty and the staff was usually rude and annoyed. I’m glad to see a Volkswagen dealership in a community where most of the locals drive domestic vehicles! My 2016 Jetta was cleaned and the service bill was significantly less than what I had originally assumed. Great Job Hanover Volkswagen!

I went looking at a VW GTI for my girlfriend. Its a very nice, clean place. the sales guy was pretty nice at first (Travis). I start talking numbers on what they want for the car after she test drove it. I told them I wanna pay cash. They come back with 2 different financial options which is no big deal. But they have there own MSRP of a little over 30k for a base model GTI s. No biggie I question them on why there MSRP is higher than VWs website (VWs website states a price $27595). They tell me that its incorrect and if they sold it that low they wouldnt be able to be in business. Keep in mind they wanna offer me rebates on a spec sheet that I may/may not be approved for. The price with VW rebates is about 27K. I pulled up the info on Google they say that it must be true car or some other thing but MSRP is 30k they try to justify it with a window sticker. I tell them Im not gonna pay MSRP on a car nobody does I have bought 2 brand new cars in the last year Ive paid a couple thousand off MSRP without rebates just from talking a deal out. They try to insist that it doesnt matter and that he has sold over 200 cars which is fine. I tell them Im not gonna waste anyones time I just know things arent right. He gets his GM and at first he was nice aswell. And when I tell him my concerns of there MSRP being 2.5k over VWs he does the same thing Travis did that cant be right true car etc.... And again I show him the official VW website and he tries to add a bunch of stuff on and I said thats besides the point and I get the add ons are extra ontop of MSRP the base model (s) invoice with add on he brings over was a little over 28k with the add ons. And I point that out and say Im not gonna waste your time. So they tried to justify a 2k mark up on a base model (s) with a couple add ons and doesnt wanna cut a deal lower than 27k with rebates and asks me what I would be will to pay I shoot him an offer based off what other people have paid for the same car and specs he says with a rudely have a nice day and aggressively shakes my hand and walks out of Traviss office. Travis trys to see if I would be interested in coming off my offer but I tell him no and let him know Ill look else where. And he says that if I can get a GTI for offer price of $22500 let him know so he can buy one. Kinda snarky remark but okay so I left with my girlfriend and will never purchase anything from them. The normal response from my experience with trying to cut a deal at dealership over price is they give you an offer you make them a counter and go from there. And you have your tax, title, doc fees etc added ontop of the agreement price. This dealerships told me its not a haggle free place but by there actions and response it seems to be otherwise. In closing just avoid them at all costs due to the poor customer service, poor negotiation skills, fake MSRP prices and failed attempts to justify it.

I actually had fun leasing my golf sportwagen with chris eason. From the first phone conversation, chris was committed to me getting exactly what I wanted in a smooth,pleasant and expidited manner. I had the best experience of my car-buying life at this dealership. Manager Brad and finance officer Austin were equally helpful, friendly and committed to amazing customer service. Have never experienced a friendly family feel at a dealership before, but that is exactly what I got! Thanks guys

Worst experience at a car dealership I’ve ever had. Wanted an excessive amount for a car with scratches touched up by paint that did not match at all. On top of that, wanted to give me half of what my car was worth for a trade in value. Shortly after, would not approve me through Volkswagen and proceeded to try to get me approved through many other banks without my consent. Good one Volkswagen. Ruined my credit and lost a customer. High five. Last Volkswagen I’ll ever own.

Bought a 2016 CPO Jetta GLI....I dont live in the area but they had the car I was looking for and it was well worth the drive. It was unlike any other car buying experience Ive had....(though admittedly I havent had many!) Apparently the sales reps are paid salary and while they can make more than their salary if they make more sales they are not solely paid on commission....this makes for a MUCH better car buying experience!! They do not hassle you in the least and you get to test drive on your own.Our sales rep was Chris Eason who was not only incredibly knowledgeable (& what he didnt know offhand he was more than willing to find out) but he was also laid back about the whole process.The car itself is also in GREAT condition. I suppose only time will tell, but I bought a used CPO that looks and drives like new. After visiting a few other car lots during my car search it was clear that none of the other dealerships I had been to took the time to detail the way this place does.Oh, and they also take care of all of the extra work for you. The car had been PA inspected but because I live in MD they will be coming down here and getting it MD inspected for me. They are also taking care of all of my MVA needs. Easy f$&%ing breezy...!

I had been looking for a newer vehicle for awhile, and I happened upon a Jetta GLI while I was looking through the lot that was tucked away from the rest of the inventory. I called in to inquire about the status of the vehicle. That is when I first spoke with Travis, who kindly informed me that it was a vehicle in for service and that it was not for sale. However, he offered to notify me of any vehicles that came in that I might be interested in. A few days later, Travis called me saying he had just gotten in a 2014 Jetta GLI Autobahn that was right in my price range. I stopped in later that night, and met with Brad the general manager, as Travis was out test-driving with another customer. Brad gladly let me test-drive the car and detailed exactly what the dealership was doing to the vehicle before they offered it for sale (fixing a broken sunglasses holder and putting on new tires). I told him I was extremely interested but I would need a few days to think about it. I was not pressured what-so-ever to make a decision, and once I decided I did want to purchase the car, they held the car until I could make it into the dealership to purchase the vehicle. Working with Travis was great, as he had obvious enthusiasm for the vehicle himself, as he owned a newer version of the same vehicle. He gladly explained every in and out of the car, and how much he loved his Jetta GLI. Working with Jesse in financing was a great experience, as he clearly explained everything that was occurring and what extras were offered. Even after selling the car, Travis has been in contact with me to schedule a service appointment to fix minor issues (tire balancing) my mechanic found in the vehicle. Overall, Travis has been a fantastic resource as a salesman and as a GLI owner. I highly recommend Hanover VW.

Daughter totaled her car and we looked everywhere in Hanover for a replacement. Travis and the staff at Hanover VW were outstanding! No pressure, great selection and even better prices. Pleased all around! We narrowed it down to a used Jetta or Sonata but when the insurance adjuster, who sees crashed cars every day, told us he would get his daughter a Jetta we were sold! I highly recommend Hanover VW!

I can honestly say this was the best experience buying a car Ive ever had. The sales personnel do not pressure you, they dont try to talk you into something you dont want and they are very educated and informative on the company and the vehicles they are selling. We bought a used jetta and once we got home we noticed a screw in the tire. They replaced the tire for free, touched up some scratches on the vehicle, and provided us with a rental car all free of charge. Our salesman Wade Yohe was second to none. He called us to make sure we were ok with everything, very apologetic about the vehicle and willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had a good Volkswagen experience. It was shocking how amazing this dealership is and how far they go to please customers. Even though we bought a used car they treated us like we were buying a brand new one, literally the best dealership and the best salesman I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and pay a visit to this dealership you wont regret it and ask for Wade Yohe he is an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to the company and has a passion for his job.

I was hesitant about shopping for a new car, having been burned in the past. This time around, I put hours and hours of research behind my decision making so as not to get burned again. My wife and I went in to VW Hanover looking at the Tiguans. We were greeted warmly by Sha, who took us on a test drive. Sha has a bright future with a great personality. Damon then followed up throughout the whole process, patiently answering all of my detailed, analytical questions in a timely manner. I couldnt have asked for more from him. Honest, forthcoming and down to earth. When it came time to signing all the paperwork, all my worries were unfounded. The process was smooth and Jesse - who handled the paperwork - was nice as can be with no shenanigans, just honest answers in a no pressure atmosphere. The general manager, Brad, followed up our visit with an offer to bring the inspection tags current (they were about 1/2 way expired), which I greatly appreciated. Overall, from soup to nuts, Im very satisfied. If youre nervous about buying a car, maybe have had a bad experience in the past, you dont have to be at VW Hanover. Great experience for me and my wife and Id recommend them any day!
