This is my first stop grocery store and it saves me about half of my grocery budget. If buying produce, I stick to greens, vegetables, and a few of the fruits - like bananas, berries, apples, pears, and maybe oranges (around Christmas). I have found that many of the other fruits have lost any flavor at all. Just buy them elsewhere. Canned and other packaged goods are usually about half the price of the regular grocery store. The cheeses are amazing and a good buy here, not to mention a decent selection.I also buy my dried fruit and nuts, basic baking supplies, and basic household items. But I do have to finish my shopping elsewhere for items they do not carry- many of my personal care items, the cleaners I prefer to use in my home, anything outside a basic food item. They do have special items featured each month that are different, so sometimes I can find some gem of a surprise in there that is a special treat. Sometimes it is a meat like marinated butterflies lamb leg, or a gourmet pizza or BBQ sauce.The Hanover store is smaller than the York store and therefore has a slightly smaller selection.The staff are efficient and friendly. Just be prepared with a quarter for your cart. You will get it back when you return you cart. And either bring your own bags or buy bags at the store. You bag your own groceries at Aldis.

Huge store well stocked and clean.

The girls are very hard workers and always go above and beyond to help. I had a late night Instacart order and they helped me power it out. I greatly appreciate their help. Their efforts to keep the store clean and stocked makes an incredible experience every time.

I like buying fresh veggies here and our drinks. Milk and cheeses, etc usually cheaper and I know they have a lot of organics here too if your into that 🙂 store is clean too but if its busy it pays to bring your own bags or boxes so you dont have to search for one or buy them there. The Hanover store is much larger than other Aldi stores. It is well stocked especially the special buy aisle. Store is extremely clean and shelves neatly stocked. Staff very friendly.

Great place for bargain shopping. I dont know if theres a warning about not having bags for your groceries but that was rlly my only drawback

Our family likes shopping at Aldi because their prices are lower then the brand name stores and we can purchase more items for our money. The store in Hanover, Pennsylvania is a large spacious building so it is easy to shop there.

Even now when many stores are lacking items, they have a great amount of stock. The prices seemed to have went up a little since everyone caught on and the upgraded store, but they are still very reasonable. The staff are all very friendly. They have lots of different unique items. Most foods are good for specific dietary needs, non go etc. We love Aldi. But their blue cold food bag, it beat Walmarts comparable zip up bag big time on keeping food frozen.

The staff is always helpful and the checkout is always fast

Generally very good. The staff is usually very nice. They have great prices on a lot of things. Their fruits and vegetables are usually good and fairly priced, but sometimes they are not good, a little hit or miss. Bad part is that if you find something you like, you may not see it again for months if ever. But its worth it to go in, get staples, and see what interesting stuff they have.

Aldi is currently expanding their space. Adding another aisle on the left side of the store. I like their prices on most everything and the quality remains high. Even seasonal flowers are priced lower than others. If you dont mind tying up a quarter for a cart and bringing your own bags, Aldi might be for you. Keep in mind that they do not carry everything you might find in other supermarkets.

It is surprising how many organic items they carry at non-organic prices! Most of their store brand items are very good. The Live G-Free brand is their gluten free line... very good. AND Vegan ice cream! 💖

Great way to save LOTS of money. I cant do all of my shopping here due to a no meat diet but they have a good selection of a lot of things. The fruits and veggies are way less expensive than the big stores. I also noticed that they are adding better stuff all the time.

We started shopping at Aldi about 7 years ago. Its always been a place to get great food for a cheaper price. Over the years people must have caught on as the parking lot is full pretty much every time we shop. I definitely recommend to give Aldi a try.

Nice store with pretty good prices. If name brands arent necessarily a major thing to you give them a try. Just remember to bring bags or boxes (paper bags cost 7 cents each and plastic bags cost 10 cents each). Also dont forget a quarter to rent your cart. You can remove your quarter from the device on the handle when you return your cart to the corral and reconnect to the others.

Aldi is a great place to get good food and not pay the outrageous prices like other stores. This location is nice and the staff was great. They are taking safety precautions with this covid 19 and cleaning every cart before you grab it. Pretty neat.

DO NOT use pickup service! You do not get sale prices and they really overcharge. They doubled the price of milk! Charged fee. I called to complain and Chris blew me off! On the Instacart.com website it states “save money and time” That’s false advertising! I shop at store weekly but can’t go because of Covid. Use Walmart they don’t change they’re prices and no fee!

Good priced Aldi brand foodsBest place other then garden+ our Dutch Amish Markets for produce. Although there is not enough registers open+ therefore employees appear overworked without good friendly welcome or when asking or looking for help from. Understaffed establishment! U will have to wait in long line or two for whole store. Plan on isle long wait+ lines.

I am an ALDI enthusiast. Truly. I cant get enough of this place. Before I moved to Hanover, I was a loyal GIANT shopper as I had worked there for 7 years throughout high school and college. When I finally moved somewhere where an ALDI was nearby, however, I quickly dropped any loyalties I had to Giant (sorry, Giant family!) and switched my primary grocery store to this ALDI location. Its newly renovated and I cant stress enough how wonderful the prices, quality of food and helpfulness of the staff are. I was hesitant to buy dairy, meats and other perishables from ALDI at first--I guess I thought they were somehow less than--but when I finally tried them, Ive found that many ALDI brands taste even better than the expensive brands. Im telling you...give ALDI a try. You wont be disappointed.

This is one of the best places to shop. low-cost I usually find most of my fresh food there. bargain prices. nice new store near me. its always cleaned shelves are usually stocked full. they put carts on both sides of the store now for convenience. if you need a job theyre usually hiring at a good rate. Im impressed with the produce section and the deli area the most!

Best place to buy strawberries. They are always perfect and red through out the whole fruit. Gluten free foods are great, please add more selections. Thank you for selling ROGER WOOD SAUSAGE. Never stop selling them please. I thought I would never see them in the north.

Store is newly renovated and better than ever! The new layout makes things a bit easier to find and aisles a bit less crowded. When there was a long line at checkout, a new one opened to accommodate guests.
