I got a living room set from them probably a year ago and at first everything was fine until new management took over a few months back. I am getting calls every darn week about how my payment is due that day. Yes Im aware its due that day, no need to freaking call me and tell me. I will definitely not be getting anything else from them

Well first of all, we went to this location to look for a couch, washer and dryer. We walked into the store and the store was a complete mess. Nothing was organized and it was horrible. I’ve never seen a store so unorganized. The store in general had a horrible smell. But nonetheless we needed a couch and we found one. It looked nice at the store but then when we got it home, it had other people’s pet hair on it and I had to sanitize it because it smelled horrible. So when they finally come and got it, when they got done they left the door wide open WHEN they left, with no regards to the air conditioning being on or the fact that I have cats. I WILL NEVER go to this store again. So unprofessional and they’re drivers must have been raised in a barn since they couldn’t even shut our door after they was done. I would give no stars if I could.

To start I didn’t have the best experience. We went in the store Saturday Jan. 2nd to look at furniture and picked out the one we liked. We filled out some information at the store and was told our furniture would be delivered Monday or Tuesday. Well Monday got here and I hadn’t heard anything so I called the store, the sales associate told me he’d call me back in an hour. I never received that phone call. I waited until Tuesday evening to give them another call and again was told a manager would call me. There was confusion about our application and what furniture we wanted due to lack of communication between store associates. At this point I was pretty irritated, however we decided to proceed with the application because we desperately needed the furniture. We were told that it would be delivered Thursday between 3 & 5. I called to verify and was told that it would be later. They finally arrived at 6:30 and we started signing paperwork, we were never informed about what we were signing, so of course I asked the questions that I knew to ask but the lack of communication and clarity from the driver wasn’t the best (maybe not his job? I’m not sure). While we are satisfied with the quality of the furniture, we got a reclining couch and love seat, we are not satisfied with the quality of customer service. I spoke with Dionne and Tyler today about my issues and they were professional and friendly, however these issues were enough for me to decide that I will not be purchasing anything from Rent-A-Center in the future.

Very poor place to get anything from they butter you up and make you think that theyll work with you and then they turn around the next week and are rude and uncooperative

Very poor Ive done a lot of business with them in The past and couldnt even get a rental agreement and they wouldnt even Tell me why very poor customer service I wouldnt advise anyone going to The harrisonburg location on market street

I tried to rent something from them. Filled out the stuff online and received a phone call later about the item I wanted. I was told they didn’t have it and they’d call back after they checked other stores in the district. I’ve yet to hear back from them. Communication is always key in any relationship and in order to gain more customers or keep happy customers they must work on this.

Ill be glad when my payments are over. If anyone has ever been the king of deception its RAC. I was sent an email telling me that if I enrolled in auto-pay then after every 4 payments I would get a payment break for 1 payment. After 4 payments went in I got an email saying that I got 1 week off applied to my account. The next day a payment was pulled regardless. I called and complained and at first I was told the payment amount was taken off of the END of my agreement amount which is not what the email said. So I hung up and checked my email. This time I pulled up the email, called them back and read it out to them. I was transferred to the manager who told me the same thing I had already been told. Very deceptive practices and definitely wont be back after this leech is gone.

Bought a beautiful new couch with the very helpful and friendly service from the representative, Mary. She was very knowledgeable and helped me get the couch I wanted transferred to the store closest to me and got it delivered very quickly! Thanks RAC.

I have been a client of them for more than two years, and I have seen that several managers and employees have passed, my experience the first year and a half very good with each of the managers that have passed, and on several occasions they helped me and how when I I was left without work for the Covi-19, and I have never failed him, I have bought him on credit and cash, and I have taken relatives of mine to them or new clients they know, past administrations, now well, in the last months I have I have gone and I have seen several different managers An unstable store in these moments I understand, and to top it off with a lot of respect these new managers in that store very harassing as they call you and how they dialogue with the customer, in a not very pleasant way, in this case With my person, last week a situation arose and I could not go to pay, and today there would be only two payments that would be less than $ 80 dollars from an account of more than $ 3,000 dollars that I owe him less than $ 900, and they have me crazy Today again I believe that they are not fair or The deal they are having with customers is fair, so the store will remain on the floor, and so many customers of that store express it, I just dont, they have to be considerate and prudent with good customers, and understand why The whole world is passing by, a council, be more human than harassers and put pressure on us, that we customers know that we have an obligation to pay them, and so we are going to do it, but I return and repeat in these last months the store is not the same Not Much Less Human Treatment.Thank You For Your Attention And Value The Good And Responsible Client, But At The Same Time Those Same Good Clients Occasionally Have Situations That Are Not Within Our Reach, Be Human, Not Harassing, To The Area Managers Take Letters On The Subject Please, And You Will Achieve Great Results.
