So far I’m not pleased at all. I called yesterday to have my car worked on. The people were very nice on the phone. The front desk people said they could have my car done by the day. I dropped my car off at 11:00 and the front desk assistant said it should take a couple of hours. I call back at 3:00pm my car hasn’t even been looked . They said they wouldn’t be able to work on my car until tomorrow. So today is tomorrow I called at 12:00pm and my car still hasn’t been looked at. Very disappointed in my services so far.

Not recommended. Repairs were made satisfactorily, it seems, but the bill came in 18+% above the already inflated estimate, and were completed a day later than expected. $232 for $40 in parts which I could have done myself in a couple of hours at home. Unfortunately, I had to send my student daughter here for two simple yet urgent repairs, since Im 1000 miles away. We had hopes that the previous reviews were well deserved, but theyve proven they take just advantage of students.

My daughter hit a pothole in her SUV with run-flat tires. They charged a fair price for my daughters replacement front tire, but totally failed to notice the rear tire had a massive hole in the sidewall and a bent rim. They reset the tire pressure monitor and let her drive away with a totally flat rear tire.

Trustworthy, fair prices and skilled. They let me take home a battery charge pack to jump a vehicle without even knowing my name as long as I promised to return it, and were knowledgeable and friendly

My daughter that’s a student at JMU, her alternator failed and was worried about what to do. The team at M&S this past Saturday was outstanding! Honest and completely trustworthy! Pricing was more than fair. I recommend any body to take their business to this team. Thank you for exceeding being the business that I expect. Great group of people!

M & S is wonderful. They have inspected my car, changed my oil and rotated my tires for me several times. They are easy to get along with, someone was willing to stay a few minutes late so I could get there after work and they even looked for a funny sound that no other place believed was happening. These guys are all friendly and easy to work with.

My brakes were near the end of their useful life, and M & S was able to take me in on a Saturday and have it done that day. Made getting my brakes fixed super easy, and the pricing was fair for the services. Highly recommend to students in the area that need work on their cars.

Cant thank these guys enough. Check engine light started flashing at 12:30pm on a Saturday while we were driving thru. Most auto repairs were closed. M&S fortunately was open and within an hour had a diagnosis (malfunctioning battery), replaced it, and gave us an excellent price. Under $200 to check the engine, get a new battery and replace it. More importantly, we werent stuck in Harrisburg the whole weekend during our vacation!!!

I had my 1999 Jeep towed here 6 weeks ago and it is yet to be repaired. My son had it taken here because of the good reviews. It’s a good thing I do not depend on this vehicle, but I would like to have it before bad weather moves in. It seems to me they do not care. Will not recommend this repair shop to anyone!

Went above and beyond to help me with my car amazing guys I can actually trust. Also they are the only mechanic in Harrisonburg that the way to go program through social services will work with to fix anything that happens with the w2g cars.

Have been quoted hundreds more at a mechanic across town, took my car here they had me out of the door for much less.Been here many times, customer service is not their goal. They fix my car at the lowest price and highest quality and thats why I will always come back.

Shop is kept clean and fixed my vehicle promptly when I brought it in.

My usual shop was booked, and my car had been making some weird noises, so I called M & S, and they took me right in to have a look. The problem was something very minor, but they took care of it, and wouldnt take any money for it. They did me a favor, and Id definitely go there again.Update August 2020: This place helped me out once again. I ran into some high water during heavy rains and some things came loose under my car. They took me in shortly after and fixed it right away. Friendly, professional, and fast.

I am a student at James Madison University, was recommended this place and they have always treated me well. Well priced and well fixed.

Brought my car in after having been diagnosed with a bad a/c compressor. I couldnt afford the over $900 I was quoted at a corporate shop. M&S let me purchase my own parts with the understanding that the parts wouldnt have a warranty. Wayne is the owner and he worked with me and was very professional. He gave me a quote and even though the work ended up a little extra than what he quoted me he stuck by it. I brought my car back in the same week for another preexisting issue with my brake system and they had it diagnosed and fixed in days, an issue another shop misdiagnosed and missed. These guys are great and they really listen to their customers when they detail the issue. I will definitely be going back with my vehicle and my husbands.

Great place the only place i let touch my vehicle other than myself. The one guy is kind of grumpy that just how he is but he is a good guy once you get to know him. The only alignment shop i will go to

I was in a pinch, needing an inspection done. Everywhere I looked needed a full day or two but they managed to fit me in before lunch.

We stopped at M & S because our check engine light came on after dropping off two children at school. We had a long distance to drive and didnt have an appointment. They were very busy but kind enough to take a look immediately and help us out so that we could get on our way.

Tried to get my sons car towed in and belt put on and they acted like I never called each day for 4 days ... Ended up taking it elsewhere. Very disorganized ! Waste of time

The best customer service.

These good ol boys saved a yankees butt.I broke down on the interstate, and when I limped into M&S, they listened to my tale, shuffled some jobs around, and got me right in. Not only did they identify the problem, but they found another issue (Brake line installed incorrectly,and VERY close to failure resulting in loss of brakes) and fixed both items quickly, competantly, QUICKLY, and reasonably! Could have charged me more, but did the right thing. Honesty is hard to find in the garage business, and these guys are. NAPA should be proud to be associated with this business, and furthermore they should receive some commendation for going above and beyond with a cheerful and professional attitude. Shysters! BEWARE!Took my car to these folks with headlight issues (no headlights, only high beams). They told me that it would cost at least $800 to fix: they would need to get a specialist there to look at it for $150, the part would cost $600 (they could only get the part from one certain distributor), and $50 to install. Took the car to another mechanic, he replaced the switch on the steering column, which solved the headlight issue, replaced the radiator (for another issue), and replaced the motor mounts (for yet another issue), ALL for $478.00!!Oh, and apparently these guys are major homophobes. One of the guys saw a pic of myself and a friend of mine in my car, assumed that we were gay, and made a limp-wristed gesture to the other.STAY AWAY!

Steve, I am having the same issues. I had my vehicle towed there 6 weeks ago as well I have called several times and I am constantly told that someone will be taking a look at my vehicle and calling me back. The sad part is I got my vehicle towed here after reading the reviews as well and it has yet to pay off. Im being fined by the state that I used to reside in because I have out of state insurance and Im unable to get an answer in regards to my vehicle.
