The coffee and food is always great and the staff is super friendly. I have to give 3 stars though as my only complaint is that the service is always incredibly slow. During busy mornings there is never any kind of hustle. Even when theres nobody in the store I usually average waiting 10 to 12 minutes for a coffee drink. It seems silly to me considering there are five people behind the counter.

The iced coffee was delicious, so was the iced Americano. The Americano could have used a bit more ice, but both beverages hit the spot. Service was quick and the employees were kind and helpful.

One of my go to places for espresso. The roasted beans in house makes all the difference! This is one of my favorite spots in Hastings.

I asked for a small iced vanilla latte, and I ended up getting burnt black coffee. That also forgot my friends muffin then argue with us saying they know they gave it to us.

Used to be a great place to come with my friends. Staff is usually overwhelmed and service is very slow. Quality of drinks have gone down quite a bit as well.

This is a fabulous location. Kudos to the owner! Your staff is cheerful, helpful, and make this Dunn location a joy to visit. I drive ten miles to come to this location versus the one closer to my house. If you have a non-coffee drinker with you, there is an ice cream shop a few doors down.

Delicious coffee and above average staff. A lovely place to sit with friends and enjoy expertly crafted gourmet beverages. Glad to have spent 99% of my high school career in their drive thru and their excellent comfy chairs.

The staff here have all become friends, they already know what i want to order! Great people make for a great morning experience. I usually go here several times a week and have been for 2 years now. I would definitely recommend coming here if youre looking for a nice brew with smiling faces. Sure, you get the occasional crowd of ridiculous yuppy scumbags that can cloud up the atmosphere, but its tolerable. Love this place!

Being a former employee when I was in high school, as well as a recurring customer for several years... I feel that the Hastings Dunn Brothers has been on a downward trend for the last year or two. Customer service has become more dry, the drinks are less consistent and sometimes taste foul. The brewed coffee is often allowed to sit two or three times longer than it should before being refreshed. Trash cans are overflowing about half the time. Dunn Brothers has a lot of potential but they seem to be understaffed constantly. I hope to see a bounce back in the months to come. Just put an extra person on shift and review menu items to see if they actually taste good!

My favorite place to hang out, have a coffe or tea, and knit or play cribbage with my girlfriend . Very welcoming environment

This is our favorite place for coffee and we’ve been going here for 10 years, so normally I’d rate it higher. That being said, in the last year we’ve found that the brewed coffee has been terrible about 75% of the time. The baristas have been inconsistent with their beverage quality and the new hires don’t take the time to greet us. The lattes have been all foam and the coffee is watered down. Have some taste tests, raise the starting wage to get some motivated employees, and please make this coffee better than caribou so we can support local again. We hope to see a change so we can better enjoy it when we visit!

Super disappointing, Dunn Bros. I’m a huge DB fan, but I won’t be back to the Hastings location. We waited in the drive thru line for 20 minutes. This was one of the most disorganized drive thru experiences I’ve ever seen. Barista was so busy and distracted she couldn’t get the order right. Made the wrong drink. Asked three times what the drink should be. Repeated ingredients I didn’t order. What a mess. Drove off without a coffee or breakfast. What a waste of time. This is not what I’ve come to expect from DB.

More than once I have gotten coffee and the cups leak. The cap is on correctly. I stopped going there for that reason.

Its a warm and inviting space. My only complaint is the acoustics. It gets really loud and noisy when the coffee grinder is running. The lovely old tin ceiling and other hard surfaces are great to look at, but hard on the ears.

Nice little cafe with outdoor and indoor seating. Has a fireplace and i really liked the interiors. They stock precooked paninis and have awesome ghiradelli brownies.

This is a great place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. They have big, comfy chairs surrounding a fireplace which make for a cozy place to enjoy a book and coffee. If you are visiting with friends there are other comfortable spaces to conversate. They have Wi-Fi here which makes it a good spot to do homework. Prices are comparable to other branch coffee shops.

This is absolutely the WORST Dunn Bros Ive ever been to (and Ive been to a lot of Dunn Bros). They have the slooooowest staff I have ever experienced. Today, Saturday night, no other customers- it took them 7 minutes to hand me my latte AND they messed my drink up. They never greet a person at the drive up window until the drink is ready; so you just sit there oddly waiting (which is a good thing at this point because Ive had to pull away too many times waiting for my/our drink(s). If I had another option in this one horse town, Id take it. Most days I drive up to CG to get a decent coffee instead. Ps. never not one time have I arrived here this fall and asked for an apple pastry and they have had one - they have been out every single time, no matter the time of day. Horrible service, horrible execution, horrible experiences.

The BEST flavors of coffee and sweet treats

This use to be my favorite place for coffee in town but for the past year or so it has been horrible. Every single time I get something, either the daily roast, latte or macchiato, it tastes like burnt, gross, tar - to the point where it is unpalatable. The only reason i kept going is because i had a gift card. Ive tried saying something to them but they say in order for a refund I need to bring the coffee back immediately - I usually buy coffee on the way out of town so by the time its cool enough to drink Im 30 miles away :-/

There is a reason I rarely go here, they have the shortest hours of ANY Dunn Bros I go to, and if you are CLOSED for the night turn the lights OFF on the building and the sign! When someone goes past and you look open of course they are going to stop. I wont be going to this store again, and I LIVE in Hastings.
