I recommend!! First time coming to a little caffe like this and I recommend if you have never been to one or if your looking for something new. The vibe is great it’s very chill and relaxing. It’s a good place to talk with family and have a nice conversation. The scenery is very pretty and calm in the evenings or nights. The food was good and the service didn’t take long which is nice. I had the açaí waffles which I would say the combo was nice and it was good:]] I had the Oreo cheese cake as well and it was nice and I had the walnut brownie too! Both deserts were a nice addition. The pumpkin drink was good. A little strong for my liking but I would still recommend if you like drinks with a more coffee taste☕️ it was still good though!! Overall I definitely recommend for a good calm and peaceful atmosphere or environment to relax and have a good time with family or friends while having some good food etc. Thank you!!
This place is a must. Great place for brunch and mimosas my fave. They have it all from a healthy breakfast to the best coffee and tea or a fresh squeezed juice. Also lets not talk about desert, great choices my fave is the cheesecake with blueberries on top delicious. Over all you need to come and try.
Food was well prepared and tasted good. Ambience of cafe is excellent. Definitely should check out the place. Lots of vegan & gf options. Also many varieties of coffee drinks and teas. Customer service was very friendly and fast. Only con is that is on the pricier side for example taco salad was ($16). Also this location is facing the LA fitness gym. I had a tricky time finding location.
CHAOS BEYOND BELIEF! Part of their power went off, it that part was their comp systems and Wi-Fi so none of the orders placed digitally on their website or app can be accessed at all and digital payments were declined. Absolutely packed and filled with the smell of burning plastic and speakers blaring unintelligible white noise! All for 55$!!! What a steal!
We were lucky to find parking and the place wasnt crowded, the service was fast and the food was great, we order one cold Spanish latte, one hot Spanish latte, one smoothie, one blueberry tart, one blueberry cheesecake and one chocolate hazelnut cake, the blueberry cheesecake and the chocolate hazelnut were huge probably will be okay to share for between two people. Place was nice and quiet and very relaxing to have a nice conversation and enjoy your coffee with your friends!
I love this place and the options are great and healthy and the food is about 3 to 4 stars in my rating. The cake however made me go with 5 stars. The coconut cake is moist and flavorful not overly sweet just perfect, if you do not like coconut the coconut shaving can be too much. I hate chocolate cake but their milk chocolate cake was amazing I had more than one slice and that is a first for me when it comes to chocolate cake. For the chocolate cake lovers I thinks there is a more rich chocolate cake also. The sweet potato cake was great. The pecan crust and top layer is what makes it great for me it need just a little less sweet potato filling it’s pretty thick and the texture becomes too much but other than that, amazing and delicious. Parking is convenient for pick up only otherwise it’s an issue if you want to sit in.
First time at this location and at first it seemed great, stand alone building with a big parking lot and dining area. Unfortunately the parking lot was completely full even though the dining area wasnt. The line was long to order, they are definitely under staffed. We ordered a pot of tea and the huevos rancheros burrito. It was amazing. The part that threw me off was the kraft brand honey packets... Seems very against urth cafes theme to be using kraft products especially when they sell their urth Cafe honey.. Just gave me a weird vibe. Other than that the food was great.
Delicious food, great coffee, and absolutely as fresh as it gets squeezed juice!My family and I parked around the corner on the street to avoid the valet parking, so that’s a non-issue.The apple juice took forever… because it was fresh pressed. Apple juice will never be the same again. Juevos rancheros with the soy chorizo left nothing to be desired. If I wasn’t told it was soy, I wouldn’t have known.Also, I’m not one for sweet breakfast, but the açaí bowl was great as was the pecan croissant sticky bun, or whatever it was called.Great service and a fresh inviting atmosphere we’re the icing on the cake. God, this stuff was so so good!
Everything is delicious. A great variety of food, drink, and dessert options. Portion sizes are a bit on the large side.If you are looking to dine in, weekends, and definitely breakfast and lunch during the week, it gets pretty busy and parking could be quite challenging. During those times, it is much easier to do take out. Off-peak, it is a nice space to sip on a beverage and pass the time.
Had breakfast: well made egg white mushroom omelet, side salad was fresh and dressing went well with it, both toasts that came w eggs and almond croissant were fresh and well made, raspberry jam and coffee were excellent. Staff was patient, courteous and friendly. Lots of outdoor seating w umbrellas and indoor seating was spaced out. Prices are reasonable too.Update: went today for Breakfast around 11 am. About 8-9 guests in line but with only 1 person taking orders it quickly grew to 20...basically took us good 25-30 minutes to just place an order for 2 items and 2 coffees !! And on top of that every one standing inches away from each other in line....Finally another team member started on another register. Loud music made very hard to hear the team members confirming order.Food: was good except salad was not fresh like last time :( dont know how when they are so busy. Servers were exceptionally helpful courteous and working hard. Overall food is good but with restaurants getting busier as covid improves management needs to focus on overall guest experience.
Lovely brick wall and high ceiling interior! Plenty of openings to the outside seating area.Its a little busy, which makes sense for a place thats so popular. There was seating available when we went for dessert, around 8pm. Im sure around brunch and dinner time it might be a fight to get a seat!The Italian cappuccino is amazing, and is something I now get every time I go. The little artwork on top survives surprisingly well as you drink it!The vegan chocolate cake is amazing, but its a bit sweet to finish in one sitting. The fruit tart is equally good.

You can’t go wrong with anything you order to eat.The reason for the 3 vs. 5 stars…- we walked in with no line and no one helped us navigate what turned out to be ordering like you were at a fast food restaurant- valet parking!? I think this likely has to do with the location- poor service… really bad communication as far as responding to the question: I’ve never been here has does this work?- their standard iced tea is earl grey. I’m not a floral tea drinker, so yeah…- expensive! Yogurt & fruit is $14. Really need a couple lighter options.
One of our favorites. If youve been to an urth you know the quality of the food. Healthy and delicious. Decent coffee and pretty 💣 pastries. Lines can be long at times and parking here is not great but you can find parking spots within a few mins walking distance. Locals seem to like.
Hidden gem !!Enjoyed my mornings with wonderful Italian cappuccino. Also tried croissants, muffin and chocolate hazelnut cake. Loved each item.Great people, great service. The prices were right with wonderful ambience.
Weve been here numerous times. The staff is friendly and the restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere. Their Coconut cake is delicious but my favorite is the diablo pizza. But in reality you really cant go wrong with anything here.

Love their Iced coffee. Turkey burger wasnt that great, it kept falling apart because the bread was tough. On the other hand, their turkey breast sandwich was good. 4 stars because why is there valet parking? I never eat here for that reason and order to go.
I did not expect to have Urth Caffe in south bay but it happened! I went to this location in the morning to avoid too much crowd - and I was smart. It was less crowded, and I could possibly get my food and drink in less than 10 minutes. The servers were super nice and quick in response. Of course everything tasted great. I mean, its Urth. I personally thought the location is little random, there is nothing to do around - but the store itself is still beautiful. Since I went there 7 in the morning, the valet wasnt there. I could just park at their parking lot.I really dont understand why so many people complain about this location. Stop demanding too much.

Wow wow wow- what a find. Was in Manhattan Beach for a few days and randomly found this place, nestled in an industrial park. Great vibes - all employees warm and friendly and customer focused. Great patio around the place for dine in. And the COFFEE- so good. 100% organic and heirloom beans, roasted in house, complex and sweet. Love this place!!
Came here for breakfast and the selection was quite impressive. Their mimosas has read orange juice in them! The breakfast burrito was pretty delicious as well. Service was a bit. . Off. . Not bad just weird in how and when foods came out. . .getting more drinks meant waiting in line again. . .

First going to one and I felt fancy lol I ordered the mocha mint and also the chicken pesto omelette with a side of diced potatoes. It was really delicious and not even that expensive so its totally worth giving it a try!!
African tea and Vegan Portobello panini was my combo for my trip here to Urth Caffe. I did ask for sprouts to be added to my sandwich which as a great decision! It came with a tossed vinaigrette salad. My tea had a pure, natural taste to it. The service is great here, I was offered honey and lemon for my tea and they brought out my order to my table outdoors. The outdoor patio is relaxing. it had a nice breeze in the evening which the noise of their water fountain added to the element of peacefulness in the atmosphere.

What a disappointment! My husband and I just left this location, and he urged me to write a review asap.He ordered the Mediterranean plate, and I ordered the vegan portabello panini. While I rather enjoyed the sandwich, the side salad was drenched in oil and vinegar.My husband forced himself to finish his meal. To put it simply, he commented that both pita bread and falafels were cold and stale; the couscous was flavorless, and the dolma was too oily and mushy.Also, the wait time was half an hour, and most tables were dirty. The only highlight of todays visit was the friendly customer service.I frequent the LA location often, and while I was excited to bring my husband here, we left with a bad taste in our mouths. For a $50 meal (3 items), we expected better. We will not be back.
Hidden gem in Hawthorne. Valet only parking but you can find parking on the street, if youre lucky. Theres a line to get in also so be prepared to stay out in the sun. Food is great and delicious.
I am giving Urth Caffe 2 stars for having fresh, vegan and organic food. But the vegan panini portabella I ordered lacked flavor and the Green Monkey Granita with oat milk was nothing to brag about. I’m really not sure what the rave reviews are all about. The food is pricey and the plant based milk substitutes cost extra, which doesn’t make sense since this is a healthy spot. Sadly, I will not return here nor do I feel comfortable recommending Urth Caffe.
This place is great! They offer unique menu with a large variety of foods on their menu. We enjoyed two large (should be called giant) espresso drinks with our French toast and omelet. The flavors were incredible. Its pricey, but well worth it for a special treat.
My first visit was lunch on May 8th enjoyed my delicious lunch! I ordered the grilled cilantro chicken breast with pesto sandwich yummy... very healthy menu! service was excellent! Staff is very attentive I definitely will return!! ❤
Amazing friendly place with high quality drinks and cakes... Also you can order online so no longer need to worry about standing in line or too much crowds. My favorite drink is anything matcha and my favorite cake is of course matcha tiramisu. Im very picky with my matcha and this place has never been disappointing!

Food was very good but they left out an Acai bowl, I spoke with a lady just now asking for a refund and she was so rude I was in shock. She addressed my issue, put me on hold for 6 minutes then answered just to ask me what the issue was again. She said you need to contact doordash and then hung up within the same 30 seconds. Unfortunate because I always have good experiences but that was something to write about.

Delicious. Counter ordering. The food is brought to your table. Plenty of outdoor seating so bring your pooch! We stopped by for brunch. I had the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Very tastyFYI: instead of English muffin as a base, they use a potato hash patty. We also had the pancakes... Also very tasty. served with strawberries and real maple syrup. Did I mention how awesome the cappaccino is? Lastly, on the weekends, they have valet parking ($4.50). I suggest parking on the street or next door at best buy.

I’ve been a customer for several years of the downtown la district Urth caffe and the service is so fast. I have to give hawthorn a one stars because service is so slow even if no to little customers, specially to go orders. I’ve also had hair in my food and have let the staff know. Highly suggest new management

Food is amazing. My great friend treated me. Had a breakfast pizza to die for. The crust was superb and tasted way better than expected. Pizza wasnt greasy at all and can really taste the ingredients. The inside dining area was packed. Decided to eat outside at patio, where they have heaters. Great experience.

Try the smoothies. Never pay for bottled water...breakfast birritos and benedict eggs are the best. There is not a single thing not to like.
Great food, phenomenal coffee. Highly recommend the honey vanilla latte and the Spanish latte. Urth Laguna breakfast was good as were the juevos rancheros burritos.

The food is really good here I had vegan pumpkin pie that was so good. Hard to tell it from the real thing. Also ordered a mediterranean platter, so many good things to eat on one plate. But the service is good, fast and the people at the register are friendly and willing to joke for a few minutes. And even better when you bring company you do have to order with a mask on right now but it is dine in or take out.
This cafe has delicious deserts and a combination of hot and cold drinks. I tried the pesto panini sandwich and salad and thought it was really delicious.
