Wonderful people, delicious beignets and coffees. Great option for breakfast/brunch!

Beignets and Lattes is absolutely top notch! Their food truck was scheduled to be at the hospital I work at one morning. I contacted them the day before to place a preorder so I could feed my hard working staff. The beignets were out of this world and the employees were amazing and overly accommodating. I will gladly support them in the future!

I thought the beignets were excellent. The cafe au lait was okay maybe a little on the weak side but the overall visit was good.

Their beignets, both plain and cinnamon were really good! The strawberry sauce was like syrup for shaved ices.

My wife and I just moved to Alabaster and we’ve been looking for a great local coffee spot to call our own, and I think we’ve found it! Worth the 10 mile drive, absolutely. So charming, everything from the warm greeting to the handwritten note on the coffee cup, makes us want to go back.

I love that they have a drive thru. It’s a convenient little coffee shop because there aren’t many in the area. They also have better prices than Starbucks. Support local!!I enjoyed my iced chai tea latte and will be back! For those wondering, they offer an assortment of non dairy milks even though it isn’t listed on the menu.

This was my first time visiting Beignets and Lattes, and I have to say Im not sure why I waited so long. The beignets were hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. The coffee was good as well as the hot chocolate but the beignets stole the show. I wanted to eat them so badly that I forgot to take a picture. I only have a photo of the only one left from the dozen I got for the family.

Nice little coffee shop with some pretty good beingnets.You get caramel,chocolate and strawberry dipping sauces to choose from and they dont skimp on the powdered sugar.

Natalie fixed me an iced white chocolate something and I almost turned around to get another one. Great service.

These are so, so delicious!!!! Each beignet is huge (about the size of a deck of cards), lots of powdered sugar, and they are very fresh. Im not a coffee drinker, but I heavily recommend their hot chocolate. Its a perfect compliment to those hot, delicious beignets. Service was very friendly, pricing is very reasonable. The beignets and delicious. The coffee is the best. The staff is kind and helpful. There are not a lot of tables, but it is cozy and there is a comfortable couch to sit and drink coffee. The drive through is very convenient. Definitely a family favorite! Their gift cards make a great gift!

Just got beignets from the Morris food truck setup and OMG they were so good. As a New Orleans transplant lol lived there for 12 years I have to say these are some of the best I have had. I dont care for Cafe du monde I prefer morning call which is better.

Honestly, they have the best beignets Ive had in Alabama, and the coffees are much better than most of the big chain cafés.Fast and friendly service.

My son has been begging me to take him to New Orleans for beignets. A friend of mine told me about this place. I took him and it did not disappoint. The sweet girl who took our order was great! She asked what I wanted to drink I told her I wasn’t sure. She offered up her suggestion which I took and it was delicious! Her name was Cayleigh(sorry if I misspelled it). We definitely will be back for sure!!!!

Very friendly here. The minute you walk in the door you are greeted. Did I mention the beignets are AMAZING!

Beignets were fresh, hot and soft. Not very friendly service- owner was standing nearby and never said a word. I have owned a business for 25 years and I know the importance of making EVERY customer feel welcome... that’s just as valuable as good tasting food. I won’t make the 40 minutes drive again.

I love beignets. I really hoped to like this place. The beignets were flat and tougher than Ive ever experienced. The coffee isnt as strong as Id like either. I think its a nice addition for those whove never experienced the real thing.

Ordered a dozen beignets with coffee today and the beignets were incredible. They made them fresh. I will be back.

First time going here on the way into work and got a large nitro cold no ice, quite tasty, nice young lady at drive through .o and came with a bendy straw !

Cafe du Monde has set the standard. Most others are disappointing. This is the closest you will find to the standard. Hot, fresh and full. Too many of the others are more air than substance.

We are beignet lovers in our family, so we had to give this place a try! We were not disappointed!! Our order was hot, fresh, and delicious! Each beignet was airy in the center with the crisped golden dough, flavorful and generously coated in powdered sugar! The cinnamon variety reminded me of sopapillas and the sauces were tasty. The cafe aulait was good too! I love that it was drive thru and we were helped by the owner who was so friendly and a delight to talk to! Thank you for a fantastic experience!!

Ridiculously delicious! I grew up in Louisiana eating Cafe Du Monde’s beignets in New Orleans and Coffee Call in Baton Rouge...these measure up! I’m stoked that I have a taste of home in AL now. They’re always fresh, powdered well, and fluffy inside yet lightly crispy on the outsides...perfect. Also the drive thru is really convenient if needed, they travel well which is important too. Excited I finally tried this place, you’ve got new fans!

This place is amazing! My wife loves the fancy coffee, especially since it is offered sugar free. For me, I love the hot chocolate. The beignets are wonderful. It’s a quick “sweet tooth” fix! The owners are about as genuine as they come. If you give this place a bad review then your life is miserable and your taste buds need tested.

The sugar-free hazelnut latte is amazing. So, so good. Its my go-to coffee drink there. My daughter loves the beignets. Service is friendly & welcoming.

For my first time- Nice staff! Much cheaper than Starbucks. They have dairy substitutes and their mochas are my favorite by far.

Absolutely the best coffee in town! I used to frequent Starbucks and Dunkin before I found Beignets and Lattes and have not gone back since. Beignets and Lattes has great customer service, delicious beignets, and quality coffee for an affordable price. I will never go back to the big chain coffee houses.

I can’t believe we have beignets in Helena!!! I have family in New Orleans and only get beignets maybe a couple times a year. It is dangerous that they are this close to my home and so good. They transport me to my grandparents’ house.(Also their coffee is amazing)

Beignets were bland. No flavor no nothing. Hollow dough with powdered sugar on top. Hopefully they can correct would love to see this business thrive.

The beignets were delicious, but the white chocolate mocha coffee I ordered literally tasted like coffee that was 3 days old. Absolutely terrible. 5/5 for the beignets, the coffee however I would give a big fat 0.

They were pretty close to Cafe du Monde. The closest I’ve had so far. Atmosphere was very nice. I will definitely be back! So glad to have a nice coffee shop near home and the beignets are definitely an added bonus!😍

So I’m not usually emphatic during reviews, but this place is awesome! I’ll give details in a bit. But if you like beignets and - well- lattes, you need to check this place out.Let’s start with the coffee. The pricing is more than reasonable. You’ll save several dollars off mainstream versions. I had the house roast this morning. It was good. Weren’t any other regular coffee options, but it was a very solid medium roast blend. Not overly acidic and a smooth aftertaste. They have all the regular espresso options. They could use more tea options for my taste, but they don’t tout it as a tea place anyway. Overall, for its size, I give it an “A” on the coffee side.The staff was extremely friendly! They were polite and very responsive. They were also knowledgeable about their products and coffee in general. You can tell the store keeps a great atmosphere. I like enjoying a light atmosphere when I’m eating inside. They also weren’t pushy about their store brand products or add-ons.I saved the best for last. The beignets. Oh, man. I am not a beignet expert. But I’ve had them from many different restaurants at a lot of different price levels. These are genuinely right at the top! They are full sized and loaded with powdered sugar. They were brought out piping hot! They also offer different sizes and dipping sauces. I was blown away by the quality. I didn’t even use the caramel dipping sauce I bought. They were that good! Also, for a limited time, they are offering cinnamon roll beignets! That’s cinnamon and icing on top in place of powdered sugar. Yeah, those are more than worth the drive! Here again, the pricing for these are phenomenal. You can get three large beignets for under $4 after tax!TL:DR - Great coffee and atmosphere at an amazing price! Best beignets for the buck in Birmingham, and close to the best around period!

Love this place! And I’ve never even been a coffee shop kind of person. The coffee is excellent - so much better than the burned kind of taste of a certain national brand. And the beignets ate the closest to Cafe du Monde that I’ve found. I will be back often.

The beignets are great! Best place I’ve found in Alabama to get them. I used to live in NOLA and my fam still does, so I’ve tried them all. Not exactly Cafe Du Monde or Morning Call, but I’d say 90-95%! Service is great and everyone was friendly. Beignets are made fresh. They even put them on a platter for a big work order I had. All my coworkers love them. Only suggested improvement I would add is a coffee change: I had a cafe AU Lait and was disappointed. I’d say switch to Community Coffee (coffee with chicory) with a sweat cream or half-n-half add and it would be more authentic. ❤️ thanks for bringing this gem to Helena. I’ll be a regular.

The cafe au lait was great, will definitely come back for that. However the beignets were disappointing. I have been to Cafe Du Monde and these didn’t even come close to them. They were tough and literally nothing but air on the inside. A beignet should feel like a pillowy cloud, these felt more like a pizza dough. They could have easily been stuffed with anything if you wanted to. They still taste nice, the texture was just all wrong.

There service was horrible and the coffee was way too sweet and tasted like medicine.

Not a coffee drinker but can say the wife loves their lattes. Beignets are awesome!
