We love this place. Employees are so nice. Fast service and great coffee. They also have a nice little supply of baked goods that are also delicious. They do a good job making sure seating is spaced out and that everyone is being safe.

Excellent coffee. They got us through very quick. Atmosphere is very comfortable and accommodating. The owner even came out and greeted us at one point. You can tell they truly care about customer service. Stop in, its definitely worth it!

The Scenic Brew is an excellent spot locally owned and using locally roasted coffee beans. There is spacious indoor seating in comfortable chairs with rustic decor and a good view of the sleeping giant in the mountain ridge line. For those with dogs, they offer dogtreats to visiting guests. You can purchase coffee mugs for your drinks made at Jmacs Pottery in downtown Helena. If you happen to be visiting when Christmas comes around, they serve free hot chocolate if you have purchased a map for the Helena Christmas light tour.

Very nice atmosphere, comfortable seating, good coffee at a reasonable price, and the service was very fast and efficient. Even at their busiest times we got nine people in and out within 10 minutes.

This is one of my go to coffee/tea places! I always know Im going to get friendly service and a great drink! Ill put it this way Ive had a London Fog regular, with almond milk, oat milk, and coconut milk and they are all incredibly delicious!

Pretty good. The frappe is a straight up delicious milkshake, which is perfect if youre into that kind of thing. The shots were about average for a respectable coffee house. The drinks were served and presented without pretention.

Only been twice, the first time I got a late with coconut milk which was NOT good. I gave it a second chance and ordered an iced americano since I thought itd be hard to mess up. They ended up giving us ice coffee... It tasted fine but I was really needing the extra caffeine in the espresso

Wonderful place for a coffee or smoothie.

Fine espresso drinks, pour overs and snacks in a modern comfy setting for conversation, study, and people watching. I love that this place is open later, near to those halycon days in bigger cities where one could commune later in the day without alcohol.

My sister who is visiting just loves the atmosphere a decor. The coffee she ordered was perfect. She is very picky when it comes to coffee and tea.

My family and I stopped this summer while traveling around Montana. Love the atmosphere here, so cozy and inviting. Coffee was awesome!! Driving over 5,000 miles I had my share of coffee. Scenic Brew was the best by far. Service was great, staff very friendly.

Quick, friendly service with a smile, better coffee than the big corporate chain. Around $3. for a large coffee, full-bodied taste, worth while flavor. Asked server to leave room for half-n-half, she filled it to the brim; ... sigh. Always on the hunt for that coffee with rich boldness I found in the Middle East. Or the flavor close to my own fresh brew. Although Scenic Brew misses my gold standard, it is a worthy option.

I had a long drive ahead of me and all I wanted was a cup of coffee to keep me going. I had called ahead to make sure they had what I wanted and when I arrived at 6:30 pm ( closing time is 8 pm) they told me they were closing early and couldnt serve me. They could have told me that over the phone! There was also no sign in the door announcing their early closure nor was there door locked as I was able to walk in but was not served. I wont be going there again

By far the best coffee shop in Helena. Always amazing quality service and outstanding drinks. The owners are fabulous and amazing people. Highly recommend Scenic Brew 💜

Worst customer service!!!!! Waited in line for 20 minutes and we get up to the window and the lady said her boss told her she couldn’t serve us because it was 4:03. They closed at 4pm. There was no one behind us and mind you the sign in there window was still on that said open. I’m sure the business owner wouldn’t be happy about their employee turning away a paying customer. I will never go back to this place!!!

Incredible atmosphere and great coffee. They have one of the best sitting areas of any coffee shop around. The staff is always incredibly friendly and you always know you are going to get consistent service. A+

Wow! My boyfriend and I stopped in a couple years ago on a ski trip and this place was awesome. Now we’re passing through on a National Park jaunt and this place is still fantastic. Great drip coffee just as we remembered. The people that own it clearly are great folks. I find it very difficult to take seriously any of the negative reviews about this place. Highly recommend!

Wonderful! My boyfriend and stopped in while traveling on a two week ski trip. We loved the fireplaces and the large table. What a cool place to kick back. I read a handful of the previous reviews and I wonder if these people have even been to Scenic Brew! Its a great little gem in the heart of Montana.

Terrible experience! My two year old son and I waited behind 3 cars to be served and because they don’t have a pre order option we waited to order at the window.Finally at the window my son and I try to order and they tell us the boss told them to shut down and can’t serve us. It was 4:03 and they wanted to close since they close at 4. We were the last car and waited 25 minutes and they can’t make two drinks for us after we watched everyone in front of us get served.Extremely disappointed that the customer is last on their list.

Usually pretty quick and if I get out the door early enough I can get there before the crowd. Love the sizes and amount of espresso! Yummy and my kids love the hot cocoa!

Its so quiet, very tranquil. The coffee is an excellent compliment to any conversation or research project. Come in here with a friend and a thirst and youll have a great time. The comfortable furniture will make it hard to leave as you get lost in the quiet tranquility of a good conversation and coffee. Its a great place to work if you need internet and coffee. Bring in your phone or laptop and lose track of time while you make progress. For those who dont like coffee, cocoa and tea variants are available. They also sell breakfast pastries like muffins, cinnamon rolls, and scones.Highly recommend.

We live in CHOTEAU Montana, and have been going to Helena skating the last couple of years, a friend told me about Scenic Brews coffee and how good it was, and when we went, wow, it was great, we loved going there and getting a pastry. But the last so many months, the coffee has not been the same, it taste watered down, we tried again this morning, having started skating again hoping that it would be back to what it used to be, but no, it tasted watered down again, so we will not be back, and the cookie went up almost a dollar in price, sad.

Service was great. Coffee was good and they had a few gluten free options.

Best coffee in Helena hands down. I drink espresso every morning and after trying them all I now make a daily stop here. Excellent service as well. A bit slower than some but worth the wait.

Over all, Im a happy customer. There have been a few less than satisfying occasions but the staff was quick to fix those drinks without question.

It was okay. The coffee is a bit light of a roast for me. And Im pretty sure the burista put almond milk in my coffee instead of oatmilk.

Coffee is pretty good, but its pretty cold inside.

I stop by here 3 or 4 times a month on my way through. The staff have always been kind and friendly. Thats a rare thing anymore. I get a latte and every time its been above average for sure and better than the Star chain. Hope they keep it up, so I can take a short break and enjoy a cup now and then.

Scenic makes the BEST coffee ever. It puts Starbucks to shame to me anyway. Im absolutely addicted to this place! The baristas are very nice and the coffee will blow your mind! The best part, in my opinion, about scenic brew is that they play Christian music once in awhile, and that just makes the entire experience better!

My husband and I stopped here while visiting family on their recommendation, and it did not disappoint! We ended up stopping here two more times after that! I had a vanilla latte and their Girhadelli mocha which were both wonderful. Being a coffeeaholic, we stooped at multiple huts and coffee shops while visiting, and this shop was our favorite by far! We will be back anytime we are up visiting.

Great place! Ive been a customer for about a year and a half. Every visit has been a good experience. Friendly baristas, good coffee, easy access. Scenic Brew is great for casual or business appointments. It can get crowded during peak hours, but thats to be expected. I mean, you cant keep a great place secret forever.

Horrible service. The staff seem inconvenienced that you want to spend money and cause them to have to work. Then... the door to the work area kept SLAMMING. And it was clearly causing jolting disturbances to the customers. So, I asked them, Are you aware that that door is slamming? Response: Oh its broken, we cant do anything about it. Me: You could try controlling the door closure with your hand. Them: deer-in-the-headlights idiot-blank-stare, followed by snide comments and I returned to my so-so coffee and book. The staff is completely self-absorbed and inconsiderate. Ive given this store enough chances over the last three years... cannot recommend. Go elsewhere.

Scenic Brew is pleasant gathering place in Helens Central Valley. Their hot beverages are tasty, plus they serve a few gluten- free treats along with a large selection of regular ones.

This is an incredible place to meet with a friend or a group, or study/read/write. Great atmosphere and staff, and personally my favorite drip coffee in town.

Not the BEST coffee shop in Helena, but absolutely a reliable place for a good cup of coffee. It may be the best latte in town though.

Who uses Sprite for an Italian soda? I found this out after driving away and tasting a horribly sweet Italian soda. I called in and asked and the barista told me that they do indeed use sprite. So now I paid for a drink I do not and can not drink. Please do not call it an Italian soda if it is not an Italian soda, or please put that you use sprite on the menu. Thank you.

Four shots of espresso at scenic brew is $3.40. At Starbucks its only $2.75 and the espresso is MUCH richer and pleasant tasting. Scenic Brews espresso is very fruity and has an unpleasant tang.

Drive-up window as well as a very nice seated area decidedly split into two halves -one being your coffee shop, the other being almost more of an art gallery with cool pictures from the wilds. Reasonably priced crafted coffee beverages as you would expect. And theres bicycle parking.

I thought I would give them a try, and was not happy.Ordered a regular coffee w/cream that was 1.90 .10 more for the cream. The reason I drink coffee is for the caffeine. She was not happy to have a customer, filled it a bout a 1/3 full with regular, and then was out of regular and filled the rest with decaf. I looked at her and said seriously she would not make a fresh pot because they were getting ready to close.I was not happy and left should have demanded my money back.Will not ever go back there again.
