Lady that made my drink was snotty in her tone when I ordered something people dont usually order. Was whispering something to her coworker after I ordered and looking at me with a scrunched up nose. My drink tasted amazing tho. Kinda like a gingerbread cookie. Iced ginger green tea with sugar free hazelnut. Not a lot of choices for sugar free, but I like the extra flavor and needed the ginger and green tea for my stomach, so I chose from what was available and it tasted good!

I have been to the Hub 3 times. I like there food and overall experience. However, I came today and the man that waited on us at the counter was not pleasant. He seemed frustrated to take our order. Then our hot chai drinks came out cols and my sandwich that I ordered to be a hot sandwich came out cold and when we asked the young man to fix it, he was not happy about it. I would not be quick to recommend The Hub to anyone right now.

We got the breakfast sandwiches on wheat and sourdough bread with iced coffees they were ok but the place is beautiful and the people are nice!

Listened to a group tonight called Teccas. They are a father daughter and good friend group and they are great. What a great date night.

This little coffee and snack place was great! Nestled in downtown Helena just a half block from the outside walking mall. The coffee was good and our kiddos loved the variety of treats.The breakfast burrito was well worth the $4.75! Good sized and great tasting. Loved all of the old school bike posters and coffee bean sacks hung up.

Was pleasantly surprised by this place! I brought my husband (who’s from Italy) and he was excited to see sfogliatelle and he loved them!

Great place for coffee! The coffee here has always been delicious here throughout the years. The setup is a little odd if your ordering food. The menu is located in a different spot then where you order. Also if you order food and coffee then you have to pick them up at sperate counters. It was odd but not too bad.I ordered a breakfast burrito with a latte and have to say they were both very delicious and would definitely go back. They have a nice patio area to sit if you want to enjoy your coffee outside and its conveniently located downtown​. Its a great place to start your day.

This is a rare spot in Helena that serves bubble tea. The coffee is delicious. The sodas are tasty, too, and the breakfast buzz is a meal in itself. Lots of fun treats, and a wide selection of beer & wine (I believe you have to order food if you get an alcoholic drink). The employees are cheerful (and patient if you just cant decide).

The coffee and food here is truly excellent. Kyle always goes out of his way to make good conversation and add value to my day every time I stop in!

So slow in getting our order, staff kept telling us they were short staffed.

I wanted to go in to relax and support a local business but the guy in the front counter was really rude and condescending so I left

The coffee was really good and the food was super tasty. I got the breakfast burrito which had a really good salsa on it. Also the mixed berry pie was delicious. Went with a group and everyone loved what they got too!

The Hub is gone through a lot of changes over the years, and it has weathered time nicely. Great desserts and sandwiches, with social distancing for all if you want it 😉

Workers were chill and the place had great vibes! Coffee was 4 stars but food and service was a solid 5! Good place to talk with a friend as well as sit and get some work done.

The employees and shop are nice, and I’m sure the coffee is good as well, but the bubble tea tastes like how the inside of a rubber Halloween mask smells. I poured/spit out all the tea in the garbage and ended up eating the tapioca. I guess bubble tea standards in Montana are stupid low given that there are about 6 Asians in the state.

Decent food and quick but the employee who made our food and served it did not have a mask on. They said it was because of health reasons. Thats a legitimate reason to collect works comp and unemployment, not serve food. Also the tables were not cleaned between uses. This business is not taking our health seriously.

You know for $9, Id hope my sandwich would at least have fresh(ish) bread.... Nope, this bread was verrrrry stale! Do better!!

Ambiance 6/10: has its own unique vibe and branding, but not as comfy as other places.Coffee: 5/10: I only had a black americano. Not as delicious as other places in town but passable for a coffee shop. I didnt finish my coffee and chose to buy a drink somewhere else. Cant speak for the other drinks.Food selection 8/10: Lots of choices for food, desert, bakery items and all other sorts of gourmet snacks.Staff 5/10: Passable customer service. Nothing exceeding expectations.

Worker didnt have mask on even though he was making my drink. Ordered an iced chai tea latte and it tasted like milk and nothing else. Messed up my friends drink but were happy to fix it, but they were complaining about being there and how they wanted to close up.

Really nice place but the here is what happened. I came in and they had biscuits and gravy on the menu. I ordered them. They said that will be an hour, they are frozen. This was a chalk board menu right at the counter so they could easily erase it until ready. I asked why they were on the menu. She said because we do have them, they are just frozen. No apology, no real explanation. This employee has no concept of customer service. It was my 1st experience so I still left a good rating, because I dont believe one bad employee should cause a nice place to get a bad rating. My son had a delicious breakfast sandwich and he was very happy with the food.

Great shop. The coffee isn’t amazing, but their frappes are super good! The atmosphere is what I really like about it, I go there at least once a week to study and it’s a very pleasant place to study and be able to focus on school work, and in my opinion, is the best place in town for that purpose. Definitely recommend!

We (group of five) really enjoyed the sandwich selection and the soups and breads were very good. None of us had the coffee and the chai latte was OK, but not the best, could have been spicier.We enjoyed eating outside on the patio with our dog.Everyone was very friendly.We would all go back again.

Ive eaten here a few times. The food has always been very good. I think the price for the sandwiches is totally fair. They are huge! The young girl at the register was very pleasant. The young guy who made our food did a great job. If I had any complaint it would be that he had long hair and it wasnt covered or pulled back, it was just down and in his face.

They are awesome. With their remodel and change of management and menu, they are great now. Coffee quality has improved, along with the vibe, and food/pastry options! Thanks for being so fantastic. 9/10 would recommend

This place is delicious. Plain and simple. I love the open preparation area and spacious seating. The coffee is consistently delicious and the food is even more so. The food seems as though it was prepared by a gourmet chef in the back. The food is fresh, simple, and the perfect addition to an expertly brewed coffee.This shop is poised at the beginning of the walking mall, so its the perfect place to begin a walk through the nostalgic area.I definitely recommend that you check this place out!

I LOVE Hub Coffee! This is my favorite coffee shop to go and work or meet with clients. They always have yummy food and drinks.

Cool environment, yummy food and good coffee. The steak sandwich had so much horseradish that made me cry... But was still very good!

The food is great, from the pecan rolls and rice crispy bars to the roast beef sandwich and a decent price for downtown. Service is mostly good and Ive been there at different times of the day. I dont like the coffee though. Have tried it several times and there is an aftertaste that doesnt appeal.

Light lunch fare was very flavorful, and just right portions. Excellent service from efficient friendly staff. Clean and roomy facilities with outdoor option. And its on the north end of the walking mall, at the middle of historical Last Chance Gulch, the gold mining camp that became Helena, Montanas capital city.

Deck seating is great in the summer. You can wave at the tour train as it goes by. Very nice salad bar. Coffee and tea selection is very good. Also like the sausage egg bake as a low carb breakfast.

Decent work space, good beverages, super friendly staff :) They even let us hang out a bit longer when we realized they close at 5, not 6 as listed online (it does say 5 on the door. My mistake.) The Asian slaw is terrific!

Fun, upbeat atmosphere with Great staff. The food is fresh, lots of organic, gluten free, and vegetarian options. The Shalomi Sandwich lettuce wrap is my go to, although the gingered beef was mighty tasty yesterday. Always order a Hippie Ball for dessert, or breakfast, or mid day snack. They are that good. And! If you have no place in particular to be, order one their Bloody Marys. Or two.

Who knew the Hub has a happy hour?! I was pleasantly surprised to find that my coffee was half price! Maybe Ill treat myself to designer coffee more often!

They really do have good coffee. And comfortable chairs. And now that the good weather has returned, we can sit outside and enjoy Helena in the springtime.

I go there every Sunday morning to eat breakfast and drink coffee. This is a warm and inviting atmosphere, a great place to relax and read. Love the girls that work here with their smiling faces and great attitudes.

When I approached the counter the two staff were busy talking to one another to even acknowledge me. I did stay I did place an order and it was a good cup of coffee thank you.

Love the Bubble tea. Was annoyed when I walked in and they were apparently closed but their door was open.. the staff person said their online hours don’t match their actual hours. Maybe someone should fix that? Or lick your doors if your closed? Or put your hours on all your doors? Just a thought.

A hip downtown coffee house with an array of coffee drinks to choose from. Food items are pretty good. The venue is spacious, comfortable -a great place to read or study.

The coffee is good here, especially the maple latte! The food is not so good. Both the breakfast and lunch sandwiches I got were bland and skimpy. I like the mountain bike theme!

I run a flyfishing guide service in Helena and weve been getting our river lunches from Shalon and her crew for a couple years now. They do a great job - timely, delish, attention to detail, helpful staff. I also stop in for the occasional afternoon cappuccino and french puff pastries for my daughters - they love em! The Hub is a great Helena business, check it out.

I stop to use the benches as there is no place to sit,as the city is saving all the SNOW which has fallen so far this winter.Thete is no place to sit on the walking mall as all the benches are under a lot of SNOW the city is saving.They mite start moving snow next week as Spring is due on the 20th of March which would be nice..

In my opinion, their food items ate really overpriced. $9 a pound for a salad bar seems a little much to me. And their coffee beverages, at least the ones Ive had, are just ok. For somewhere that charges what they do is expect a little better quality.
