Dont go to John. my dad had just called because he was confused where the wrenches to change his tire, we bought the car from Hempstead ford. we eventually found it no thanks to him. when I called to speak to someone is sales the customer service representative transferred to him where he was home which was weird but he answered and he was so rude to my dad and lashed out on him for asking and was yelling at him saying hes home on his couch and cant help is such a rude way. I spoke to the manager and he did apologize for his behavior. I recommend going to Levittown ford they are great. and I just got my new Ford Edge from there.
From start to finish, Hemptead Ford was a pleasure to deal with. There was none of the wasted time negotiating our lease agreement. Our salesman Evan was fantastic! Service department is pretty horrendous.Scheduled a 9:15 AM appointment for oil change and state inspection. Pulled up at 9 AM. After waiting for 3 hours then they tell me that i needed new rotorsreak pads....ok i agreed to get it done.(also thinking that it should be atleast 1 more hour before its done and i can leave.)Service advisor came back an hour later said its almost done. at this point about 5 hours wait time.around 3 PM a car runner outside asked me if im still waiting for my car. which they knew that ive had already been here since 9 AM.3:30 PM the service guy said my car is finally done and service advisor said they would give me some discount for waiting 7 hours. I also had a $54 credit which i had previously and told the advisor to apply it to the current bill. The total discount is $75 with the extra they gave me for waiting 7 hours. $21 for 7 hour waiti looked at the bill $122+tax for 2 rotors $267 total with tax. I noticed the discount wasnt applied after i had already pay for it..so went back into the office and talked to the service advisor.He said seems like theres been a mistake...then ask me to take the receipt to billing and have them credit it back to my card and he will type me up a new total with the discount applied which i did. Went back to advisor he tried to type up the bill again and apply the $75 discount. Now hes telling me he cant change the previous total of $267. I would have to pay in full without the discount applied...now he said hes gonna do me a favor and give me $85 discount instead but i cant use it now. It has to be next time. so he wrote $85 discount on a piece of paper.....smh.didnt leave the dealership until 4 PM. what a complete waste of day.
We just purchased a new 2021 Lincoln Navigator this past week. We had the wonderful experience of having Evan Boucaud as our salesman. He was so knowledgeable, friendly and so accommodating to our needs. Evan helped us find exactly what we were looking for especially with the inventory shortage. We came to look at the truck and cam back 2 days later to pick it up. Evan did his best to be as quick as possible with all the paperwork. Then took his time to go over the whole truck with me to make sure I knew how to work everything. He sent me a text a few days later to check in to make sure everything was going well. I feel like I walk into a place selling luxurious cars that far away beyond my affordability. The sales only ask what is your budget and nothing else. Nothing relevant except money. I went to crown ford next day, they are extremely helpful. I am not sure whats going on makes ford Hempstead so pround (arrogant), chip shortage? Ford reputation? I am still not getting it.

Most absurd service scheduling process I have ever experienced hands down. 16 days out to get an oil change for your car - crazy. Also if you have anew vehicle make sure your know your VIN number or else you canβt schedule - after you have to repeat it 3 times they finally tell you the first appointment is in 2 months but they can possibly squeeze you in in 16 days.
So far so good. Applied for a vehicle a couple days ago. Still waiting to hear back

According to the Manager, βItβs a hose, it happens.β Very comforting. And the quote I received for a potential repair? Add βhighway robberyβ to the list.

Service went well until the valet employee mishandled my mustang and ruined my front chin splitter. He was not mindful of the bumpy roads in the Hempstead Ford parking lot and I saw not only my rims hit deep into the lumps and bumps in the parking lot but most importantly, saw my chin splitter scrape really hard.Paint has now chipped on the splitter. When I informed the valet of his mishandling on my car he brushed it off and walked away. I told the service reps I had to leave the place by 1030 for a prior commitment and therefore due to timing I was unable to let his managers know of this mishap. Extremely disappointed.

Buying my car itself was a great experience! Now almost 7 months later my car is making a noise. I purchased the extended warranty because I knew if I needed work I would get it done and only have to pay the deductible on all covered services within the plan. I go to a 9:15 am appt they dont hear the loud noise that i initially brought it in for. They fixed some hoses that were recalled but had me sitting there for 2 hours with still no answer. I was told it was going to take a while to diagnose the problem. They call me up another hour and half after I pay for an uber home to tell me they cant get the part in for another 3-4 more days so now my control arm on my car is making lots of loud noises. The service guy John stated its safe to drive around till it comes in. Then I asked him how am I going to drop it off and make it to work and take my children to school he presents me with the option of uber. I should not have to pay for an uber when i purchased an extended warranty and was told i would have a loaner. So now im in a car that isnt safe to drive and im over $30 in uber charges because they falsely advertise and promise you things that they cant do.

Hempstead Ford servicing department is a nightmare to deal with. There was absolutely nothing that went well with my service experience with Hempstead Ford. They kept my SUV for a week and still could not fixed it, they wanted to keep my vehicle for longer without providing a loner, I inform them that I needed my vehicle, so they could either provide me with an emergency loner or I would need my vehicle back. I was told that they will call me back when a loner was available so that they can fix the car, its being one week now and no updates or no call back. My vehicle still has the error, and nothing is being done. This is not the first time we as a household has had bad experience with Hempstead Ford, we had a truck and it was the same drama when it comes to servicing, I taught ford was supposed to be reliable apparently not. Hempstead Ford is the worse to have to deal with. I have to return my SUV in November and I cant wait for that so I can be done with Hempstead Ford. Take your business to some other Ford, this one is just unprofessional and simply unpleasant to deal with.

Brought my car in for an oil change at 8:30am. They asked what time I needed it back by and I said the end of the day. They waited until 4pm to call me and tell me my car wont be done until the following afternoon. Whats the point of an 8:30am appointment then? More than 24 hours for an oil change....what a joke. Now I lose a day of work cause I dont have a car. The sales rep didnt seem to care, and kept saying they got backed up and theres nothing they can do. This isnt the first problem Ive had with Hempstead but this is by far the worst and most inconvenient. This is my second car with them too and Ive been coming here for 6 years. The service quality and customer service has been on a drastic decline ever since. Im done with their all of their service reps and will not be coming back again.

Service was seamless, even in these Covid times. Easy to make appt, check in and great communication with Service coordinator. Car Wash was offered and communications were via email and text, besides in person.

Issue resolved thank you Kevin.Original:Went to get my oil change and they push that car needs to be inspected for much more. Ended up with a bill over $1000. I thought they had cover everything, got home and noticed the check engine light is lit up. Called them to get a follow up but now they said the specific tech is only available during the weekday. Im upset that they overcharged for nonsense and now want me to miss a day of work and to pay again to get it serviced for the engine which they supposedly had checked. What a ripped off, after years of going here, not doing business with them again.
I have a potentially dangerous issue with my car and the service department said i have to wait 2 months for an appointment. God forbid something happens while im driving - they dont care. The customer service rep was extremely rude and didnt care. I would NEVER go to this dealership or really any in the area because they are all the worst customer service.
Worse place to purchase a vehicle..All times frames given regarding getting the vehicle my wife wanted such as when it was suppose to be picked up, When it was suppose to be ready were all inaccurate.. A week turned into a month.. When we approached the Manager John all we were told was sorry.. The best he could do is give a few oil changes for the delay and inconvenience.. If it wasnβt that my wife wanted this vehicle I would have walked out on the deal.. Be careful when told things at Hempstead Ford.!!!!

You keep saying you apologize how about asking what can you do to make the customer happy... I understand things are not running full capacity due to the pandemic but then you and your staff should have relayed that message during the buying process.. Not say one things and it being completely off.. This was a few occasions regarding the subject. There is no record because the vehicle is under my dads name, Abraham Edicula. Hempstead Ford has great sales people and delivers a great sales experience. However, The service department is not great. The labor and diagnosis fees and estimates are outrageous for a domestic car service center. The people at the service center are there to make money which has been evident to me on my recent visits. For example the synthetic oil change has a coupon for $49.99 on their website but the representative charged me 84.99; when I asked the representative about it they said its $84.99 because it is synthetic oil. Frankly, because my explorer is at 150,000 miles and around 10 years, I cannot justify spending the extra labor rates for a Ford technician. When it comes time to trade for the 2022 Expedition next year I will have to reconsider if Im going to be using Hempstead Ford or another local Ford dealership.
Recently bought a car but have to bring it in for service because of terrible quality. Had to call 3 times before someone picked up. Was transferred 2 times by representatives until I was left, again, having to leave a voicemail. Never got a call back either yet. Disappointed.

Brought in my car for the annual inspection. My service advisor, John Lydon, notified me of a problem with the lights that would require keeping the car overnight. Hempstead Ford methodically tracked down the problem until they discovered what happened and fixed it. The right rear lamp had its wires crushed against a screw and was causing a short. Thinking back I realize now that this was due to my local service station replacing that lamp a few months ago when it was burned out, and damaging the wiring by being careless. If you want a problem with your Ford car fixed, bring it to Hempstead Ford. They have the tools and knowledge to fix any problem correctly the first time. Thank you John!
