Store is very clean and organized. Prices vary. Not the most expensive supermarket but not the cheapest either. Because of Covid there is only one line formed which is on aisle 7

Smaller than the one we usually go to. Produce dept has 3 scales. Only 1 was able to recognize what we manually entered. Produce was decent. Location doesnt look to have been updated, yet. Location was clean, though.

Extremely poor customer service. I asked a question about a rainbow balloon and the manager at customer service was very disgruntled. I had to walk away before they got angrier with me. This happened at ~ 4:30pm on 8/26.

Its a good experience, good place to buy groceries, food, they have affordable prices.

Im usually pretty pleased with stop n shop. Prices are good and close to home. I just absolutely hate when I see the employees re stock and seeing their methods. Ive seen them re stock yogurts and having all the refrigerator doors open for a long time. Or like today, passing this cart of unattended ice cream. It was left there for atleast 10 mins while no employee was around. Not very reassuring seeing while shopping for food. I will be very careful of what kind of food I purchase from here.

They had some good selections, however they are a little pricey so if youre not willing to spend a small fortune on groceries, then vary your shopping experience in various stores to catch better bargains.

Wonderful super market. Has everything you need, from groceries to fruits, vegetables, fresh meat and poultry as well as pharmaceutical products. I thought it was a little pricey.

The Deli counter is disgusting. Every time I go there the slicers are filthy. They never clean the machines. Slices of meat are too thick on one side and shredded on the other. They keep their meats and cheeses in ziploc bags rather than using plastic wrap. Some staff members (not all) keep mask down under chin and do not look clean. They also seem to be understaffed.

All Pharmacist were all friendly and well taken care of their patients and also very informative and given to good services to their patients

The store was clean and well organized. The line on a thursday evening at around 7 pm was inexcusable. If youre not going to hire enough people, you need to fix the self serve checkout machines.The parking lot is dimly lit and filled with potholes which makes for an unsafe situation.

Thats the store that I shop for food. I wish they would start providing bags again for consumers

I went into the shop to grab a few things real quick last night. When I got the register, a wonderful lady named Rachel greeted me ecstatically and immediately offered to read my horoscope. I was immediately disarmed and felt more welcomed in a grocery store then I ever had before. I run my own retail store and I even told her that I loved the idea and may need to implement that myself. This has been my go-to grocery store for years. Im not sure how it is in terms of hours now. But back then. This would be the only grocery store open for miles at midnight. It is always clean and the staff are very friendly.

Went on a busy Saturday, place was well stocked and neat. The customer service has a lot of patience dealing with the self check-out, people that dont know how to use this should not use it. The store has was refreshed with a renovation last year and it is nicer than before.

The produce is never very fresh. They always take down the sale item signs the day before the sale actually endings. The shelves are never fully stocked. However anytime Ive asked an employee to check for an item in the back theyve done so. I must add theyve always been polite & appeared happy to help.

Consistently having issues with stock availability. Dennis the store manager says he has no control over the issue. I called manufacturer for a specific product that over 45 days Stop & Shop has been out of stock. Manufacturer stated they are having no inventory issues. Product is readily available by them. This confirms the glitch is within Stop &Shop operations.

I love shopping at Stop & Shop. I do all my food shopping there. I buy cases of Coke there - and only there - yet I cannot redeem the cans at your store. I noticed that the cans do not have the stamp on them indicating a 5cent return. I pay the deposit of 5 cents when purchasing them but your machines reject them all the time. If you are not paying the deposit then why am I when I cant return them. Please let me know why this is happening. Thank you.

I often stop here in the morning on the way to work, and they always have what I need. Theres a nice, friendly lady in the bakery dept. that always says Hi, how are you? to me.

Yesterday I went to this stop and shop. Im a handicap individual who cant walk so far. Each store by law is suppose to have 6 working carts for the handicap to use. This is a violation of the American Disability Act. Please fix this issue immediately. Im going to report it to the American Disability Act and the HeadQuarters of Stop And Shop. Im very disgusted with this. I need to be able to shop and Im a handicap individual who has rights.Morris Levine

If I could rate 0 stars I would. The employees are horrific!! They don’t know how to speak proper English and higher whatever comes through the door. I was asking an employee about the oranges and he replied “not sure they might be good but they traveled a long time way good luck “ . What a nasty store and a poor show of management . I went ahead to ask the same employee about the fruits and that person said “you should go for the ones on the bottom less likely they have been coughed or sneezed on. That’s gross what a blatant disrespect to stop and shop customers how gross !

Yes, every stop & shop has all kinds of food..but you always find something special, like these mugs!

I love my Stop & Shop. Most of the workers are kind and very helpful. There is a Spanish lady that helps you when you screw up at self checkout. She is the BEST all day every day! I love her!

A poor example of a supermarket, the spices section is never properly stocked and the produce is always hit or miss. Go to another stop n shop and save the time.

This location is pretty ok. The workers are always pleasant and helpful when you ask. Pretty big location. Some times you may not get much food, there are days where the shelves will be very empty so if you dont go on the right day you wont find much beyond fresh fruits and veggies. The bathroom in here is always clean which is nice if you are ever pushed to go, please keep it that way should you do use it. Sales here are fair but does leave a lot to be desired compared to other locations stop and shops that have a few more useful sales and product availability/options. Overall its ok for bare basics unless you go the days they are expecting a shipment of goods.

The store has done a really good job w hygiene and social distancing protocols. The staff is firm but professional and polite in enforcing. Makes the adjustment easier

Walked into this Stop and Shop today (Saturday April 4th) and there are no spots in the parking lot. I go inside and it is packed with close to 200-300 shoppers. Spoke to manager who said this is fine its not crowded. There was no space to even stand 3 feet apart by the registers vs. 6ft. This has to stop asap!!!!!

The store was nice, employees very helpful. The produce was lovely and very fresh looking. I couldnt find any baby bok choy, and the regular bok choy was so big, I was afraid Id waste half of it. I do LOVE that they have all kinds of organic and natural foods to suit my needs. My biggest bother, if you will, is that there was only one scooter, as I have some mobility issues... And it was not working well. I am new to the area, but I will be back.

Worst store ever. I understand when the quarantine first started that people stocked up on food and hoarded items, but this far in, the shelves are still bare. Better off going to the smaller stores, they are always fully stocked.

I like this grocery its clean thats lots of awesome produce veggies and fruit alike there is lots of selections for various items everything always seems super fresh and Ive never gotten anything expired or out of date. The lines move fast theres lots of cashiers working and theres never too long of a wait to pay, its not like those other places that have a bunch of self-checkouts and just wanted to cashiers I hate that!!! I highly recommend going here even their deli section its clean and quick moving along with their hot food bar and they even have a sushi selection!!! The bakery always has lots of yummy fresh cookies as well!!

Really good prices and lots of great sales. The pharmacy is the best I’ve ever been to! This store always has fresh produce and very fresh seafood.

Kind of over charging these days, post different prices charge different. I had coupon booklet with me, but the excuse was, e-coupon is needed.

I like this store. As far as basic super markets go this is a decent one. Good selection, good sales, relatively clean. The deli has a good selection of boars head and store brand products at a reasonable price. Its not fancy like a whole foods but its heck of a lot cheaper and i do most of my shopping here.

You would think that New York surrounded with ports and that they received products and produce from all around the globe would bring the prices down but despite that prices are so much higher for basic products

I usually go to the stop and shop in west Babylon, ny. I like that one misty because the staff & because its so close to my house... But This store is so much better than that one!

Prices are fine and the store is clean. I will try to avoid stop and shop solely because they never hire enough cashiers! You can spend a good 15-20 minutes in lines that are 6 carts deep trying to purchase your 3 items. The self check outs are just as bad. They seem more concerned with profit than an enjoyable customer experience.

Never stocked just convenient for us

Very close to my home and convenient, I would say fair pricing on items. Typically clean, staff friendly. Tonight went to the men’s bathroom, found toilet paper, feces and either water or urine all over the floor. The men’s bathroom is typically grungy, I don’t get squeamish but this was absolutely disgusting. I immediately told management and they said they were looking into it right away, I really hope so. This Stop & Shop seems to attract some very odd characters especially at night. Was approached by some guy standing outside the entrance asking for money, I politely told him no sorry and he mumbled some choice words, to which I answered get a job. Police have been here a few times, guess it’s common but I’ve never seen that so far at Fairway or other supermarkets I’ve been to. Must be the surrounding neighborhood. I’m contemplating not coming here anymore

This review is reflated to the Bayside Queens location ONLY: This store has fallen from grace since they first took over the location that was formerly Waldbaums! They are often out of stock on many items, and - in many instances - pushtheir house brands by NOT offering THE brand name iteration of the same product type. Customer service is OK not great. Pricing IS good compared to their competitors.I ONLY shop here because ist close to my home. Most often, i shop with FRESH DIRECT, or . . . Fairway Littleneck, via Instacart. However - Im saddened to report that Fairway (the entire chain) is closing in thye near future.For residernts of Bayside and Whitestone, I STRONGLY reccomend KEY FOOD at the Whitestore Shopping Cenyetr (and) North Shorre Farms - of Whitestone, (who) has a wide & deep selection/inventory of gourmet and boutique food items.

Almost everything under one roof.. The quality of products was good.. Place looked hygienic and was not over crowded even on a sunday so one can shop in a little peace.. The veggies and fruits looked fresh and the prices were reasonable.. And the plus thing is its near my home.

Sunday night, there was a kid in the parking lot, who kept (intentionally) running into cars. It was basically his playground. I suspect hes probably one of the employees son or some random kid from the neighborhood. I wont be coming back (at least not on Sundays)

They have in app coupon as well as the ones sent to my house based on my usual purchases.Customer service helpful in person.One time I called to ask if they had strawberries and they said yes but the store was out for a week due to a drought in California. I had to speak directly with the produce department to get that information after I wasted my trip there.
