You feel secure and safe there.Management is great. Lena is so caring. Makes sure her customers are always happy. She takes time to know you personally.

The staff there is great! Lena was there to help me from start to finish from purchase to filling the unit there was excellent communication and professional service provided. Definitely would recommend this place not only for the staff but for the physical location itself. The building is clean and presentable and easy to access with your code.

Coming to this storage and interacting with Lene always makes my day. She’s just so warm and professional, and a worker who actually likes making conversation with her customers. So far, so good. The building looks clean and my unit looks good. I was able to take advantage of the contactless rental. The leave a cute tote bag and supply you with a new lock for $15 but honestly, its about the same price if you get it at H.D. They even leave a letter opener to open the hard plastic package, something you might not think to bring. When I returned later to add items, they have plenty of carts and trolleys to move your things. Be prepared to provide renters or home insurance or you will be required to select their insurance (according to your unit size).

I wanted to downsize to a smaller unit and get rid of most of my stuff. Lene kept telling me I could go from my 10x15 to a 5x15 but when I saw the empty unit I didn’t think I could do it. Another very nice person I ran into today saw what I had and took some of my stuff also and said I could do it, so yes I got the 5x15 and I’m sure what I’ll have left will fit. Thank you again Lene!!

This is going to sound weird, but this storage facility has the best energy. I don’t have a car all the time, so it’s in a great location. It’s close to different bus stops, right next to the LIRR. There is also a post office, but that my just be interesting to me.The manager, Lene, is so nice. Always has a nice smile to share with everyone. The place is SPOTLESS. The bathroom always smells great.

My husband and I have been using Life Storage for years because they’re clean, climate controlled, and in a convenient location near the Hicksville LIRR station. It’s easy to move stuff between your vehicle and storage unit, with parking available right in front of large doors leading into the facility, giant elevators and plenty of carts available to push your stuff around. Another nice touch is clean bathrooms inside the building. There’s a locking gate for access after hours (one each for cars and pedestrians), providing a good balance between convenience and security. The office staff is helpful and even suggested ways we can save money during the process of gradually moving our stuff out of storage. If we ever need storage space again in the future, we will certainly use Life Storage again.

Love it here, it’s so clean and under such good management. Lene McLean is so sweet and amazing at her job and on top of that FUNNYYY, love her.

With so many moving parts, Lene was incredibly attentive to detail, and exceedingly patient throughout this tumultuous move. Lene is a commensurate professional who not only made sure the move went smoothly, she even acted as a therapist to calm and soothe my partner (downsizing from a 7,000 sq ft home into the unit is not thd easiest thing to do).
