Oh man, be careful. Incompetent staff, slow service, poorly functioning vehicles and last but certainly not least thieves. Contract clearly states reimbursement on gas over starting amount. They refuse to reimburse and state the contract must have been cut off. Well if thats true (which it aint) it is their mistake and still an agreed upon contract to what is stated. A reimbursement is agreed upon and mandatory. Based on other reviews, manager appears to be problematic, extremely unprofessional and too incompetent to run a business. This is clear and evident on how the business is run and the trickle down to the suspect employees (thieves). Not a U-Haul, more like U-Robbed.

U-Haul has ruined my moving experience twice. THIS particular location is the ONLY reason I will EVER use U-Haul again. I went in on Sunday the 27th of September and was with my toddler and Shameka was in and she was AMAZING. So if I am in need of a U-Haul ever again and this location is unable to accommodate, I will use another company. If all locations were run by her I probably would’ve never had an issue in the pastAllow me to clarify, if Shameka doesn’t have what I need at her location I will move mountains to use another company because aside from her, I have found all other U-Haul representatives to be incompetent.

My experience at this U-Haul location was excellent. Plenty of vehicles, mine was brand new, and quick pickup and return. The customer agents, Damien and Shameka were terrific. I had to delay my pickup 3 times and they still provided a vehicle at the time i needed it. I was given an estimate and it was right on with no hidden charges. This is the place to get your vehicle...

Garbage. Calls me 24 min before pick up and tells me it’s not available... waste of my time. Avoid this location. Useless staff.

If I could post a zero star I would. I have been renting trucks for our company for years. I have never been treated so badly then I have today. I went U-Haul Bethpage to rent a truck. The computer was down and Brian was waiting to reboot. I was using my cell phone for a few minutes when he comes up to me and rudely asks me to Get off my cell phone for 5 minutes so we can do the paperwork. The U-Haul computer was down in the first place...not my fault. The center was completely empty...for obvious reasons. Whats with this guys attitude...then he REFUSES TO RENT ME A TRUCK! He then claims to be the owner. No owner in his right mind would ever treat any customer in this fashion. Well Brian...YOUR LOSS... we rented 4 U-Haul trucks last weekend alone. You just loss all of my companies business to the JERICHO U-Haul.I have dealt with Milly (Jericho) several times in the past and she is second to none!

I returned a truck rental on this location in less than 24hrs. Desk attendant took the keys, said receipt will be emailed (this was before 5pm). 2days later, I get an email that I was charged $80 for extra 2days rental (returned at the time I received the email while I was at the beach) and $20 for after hours service. For real? I called Uhaul customer service, who in turn called the location who asked questions like did you return the key to a person? Was it a male or a female? I called right after I received the email where it says I just returned the truck. You cannot verify and check yourselves if I was just there? Worst customer service. And I am still waiting for my refund on top of that. It’s still being investigated.

This place is the worse. The manager ( Jeffrey Rodriguez) is a total douchebag. This guy is totally unprofessional and acts like a thug. On January 3, 2018 i went to this place because i had a reservation for a 10 truck. When i arrived at around 8:30 am the only guy on the premised was the manager (Mr. Rodriguez). I walked in and said good morning he answered me with and unfriendly good morning and with an attitude. i proceeded to tell him that i had a reservation. He looked up the reservation without saying a word, and i asked him if he knew more or less how much it was going to be with the insurance and the up-charge. by this time he got upset and started screaming at me and telling me that he did not know because he did not know how much mileage i was going to put on the vehicle. When i told him to calm down he answered me by saying that he was sick and tired of customer thinking that he should bent backward. I then told him that it was a simple question and whats with the attitude. He then started screaming and told me that i was the one with the attitude and if i continued asking him questions, he would refuse to honor the reservation. When i then asked him again why the attitude he ripped the contract and told me no truck for me. I asked for the manager and he said that he was the manager. He started lecturing me and calling me boss. I told him that i was not his boss and that if i was he would had been dismissed immediately. I also told him that if he was the manager with that attitude i would hate to imagine how his employee act. By this time i had enough of his unprofessional attitude and told him that he was acting like a jerk. He actually did me a favor because afterward i went to the u-haul in Hempstead and was treated with much respect. I will never again rent anything from this place.

They were supposed to have a truck ready for me for 24hr pickup, i took an uber to get there, now waited for an hour till they opened in the cold. Never use uhaul again.

The staff is very unprofessional, doesnot look like a UHAUL location but a third rate poor family run business with no sense of quality.Carlos, the staff, was having lunch at the counter and was extremely ill mannered with no sense of customer service.How can you let your company’s branch run by people like these.Dirty location, unwelcoming staff.I gave it one star because that’s the only option for minimum rating.Pl wake up and get your company on track.

I reserved a 26 truck 1 month prior to the rental date. I picked it up late on a Saturday for me to use all day Sunday. The trucks air conditioning did not work (it was in the upper 90s that weekend), the brakes squeaked, the front end was loose & the inside of the windshield was dirty. Since I picked up late in the day there were no other 26 trucks available so I bit the bullet and stuck with it. It got the job done for not a lot of money, but overall, not a great experience.

Great place, great customer service, plenty of options. Do not go anywhere else! Highly recommend.

Worse place to rent a truck, stay as far as possible from this place or Jeffrey Rodríguez will scream on the phone and threatened you to make sure youll never be able to rent another truck. I hope Mike reads this and makes sure he does something about it and make an example of the bad apples that uhaul has. Will never come back until they terminate this gentleman or have come up with a solution with management.

Never rent anything from this place the manager Jeffrey Rodriguez cursed me out just because I was returning a a truck that was leaking oil . I don’t recommend this place to anyone and I hope he gets fired as soon as uhaul corporate sees this

We rented a car trailer and we had issues with the running lights (didnt work) and the ramp came unlocked twice (while going over 55 MPH) (talking about extremely dangerous and freakin frightening!!!), we also got a flat ... no other U-Haul could assist us with the flat and the U-Haul ETA for assistance was 4-6 hours (the trailers do not come with spare tires...go figure). After returning the trailer we called and spoke with the Manager Jeffrey who, didnt believe that all of that really occurred during our trip (and we had no evidence...ok so next time Ill be sure to video or snapchat the ramp scraping **Sparks flying** along 95S while traveling 60 MPH) Manager only took $55 off the bill, thanks there Jeff!. Learn from our mistakes: Check your trailer/rental THOROUGHLY, be prepared to wait 4-6 hours should something go wrong, know now there ARE NO SPARE TIRES and dont expect U-Haul to take much off of your invoice even if you are inconvenienced so much...they just dont care. I would check another U-Haul before going to this one!

Im here right now. There are five people here waiting for help and have been for over half an hour. There is only one person helping customers with several other employees seem to be wandering around aimlessly. The one person actually working doesnt seem to be in any rush and hasnt asked for help. Service here is terrible and I just walked out.

Helpful to my needs when I was moving

Dont have propane if youre not going to sell it! Went on my lunch break to get propane. Waited 15 minutes for the guy to tell me that the person with the license to fill propane was not there today! Put up a sign stating this on your tank, instead of wasting your customers time.
