I ordered everything I needed online. They packed it up and helped me load me car. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Great location!
Booked a rental online for a 12:30 PM pickup. Showed up a few minutes before and was helped right away. Had no issue getting all the paperwork ready.Picked up the truck and was gone in about 5 minutes. Truck was clean inside.The return process was just as easy!
Ive had really good experiences renting from this U-Haul Location. I have reserved using the phone application both times, but prefer to finalize the transactions in person. Everyone seems friendly and helpful during my visits.

They actually close at 6:30 and are rude if you get there at 6:45 for boxes. They turn off automatic doors at 6:30 to ward off people.
The staff is very friendly, helpful, and understanding.The location is convenient and the prices competitive with 1st month free. I would recommend this U-Haul to anyone needing storage.
Worst uhaul location you could possibly find! stay away from this location if you dont want to have headaches, staff there are extremely rude and treat customers like garbage. I have rent uhaul equipment many times from many different states but this locations was the worst experience i ever had, manager and employees had an attitude all the time and i had to fix all my issues calling directly the 1800 uhaul number. I am never coming back to this location.
Dylan was so helpful with assisting us! He helped us find the perfect size for us and really made us want to come back to uhaul next time we move!
I first secured a unit at the North Main location in October of 2018 upon moving to HP from Florida. Over the past 4 months I have secured another unit and I purposely wait until Victoria is working to conduct any business here because she is the only one to actually help me. She made me aware of the access to easy pay so that I have one less bill to worry about. Now both of my units auto deduct from my bank account and I receive an emailed receipt of each transaction. I rent box trucks regularly for many purposes and Victoria is the only one who always greets us by name with a big smile. After dealing with many sour attitudes and poor customer service over the past with this location, it is awesome to have Victoria take such great care of those of us who are long term customers. Thank you Victoria!!!

I had a great experience with this location. I made a reservation with budget truck to move into my new place, once i went to pick up the truck I was told there were none available nor did they care that I was left stranded. I called this u-haul location around 2:00 pm EST hoping there was something available. There wasnt but the guy was so nice and considerate and told me when a truck would be available, if not then another time and assured me that I didnt have anything to worry about. I went to pick up the truck at the first time I was told and they knew who I was and took care of me ASAP. I dont think I stayed longer then 10mins. I was extremely pleased with this location.
I would give this location zero stars if it were possible. They are the one who dispatched me to a location to pick up my reserved truck. When things went wrong, I called them to try and get help. The lady on the phone was extremely rude. After explaining my issue, the lady responded by saying, so what is your problem? My reservation was then somehow magically cancelled. I was almost stranded without a truck if it were not for the people at the pickup location. Save yourself a headache on call another dealer.
Went to Main St U-Haul for a propane refill. Pressed the bell for service as the sign said and waited in the heat for an attendant. After almost 10 minutes and no response I went into the store. There were no customers, just the employee seated behind the counter. I told her I rung the bell for propane and her reply was the propane was out of service. Guess she figured if it was out of service there was no need for her to be courteous and come out and tell me, just wait for me to come to her. And of course, no sign on the pump. With that kind of service, no need to wait for me, I will not be back.

I have always gotten my rentals from this location and always enjoy working with the manager and staff there. However, theyve lost my business forever over their shady billing tactics. I called corporate, was promised a call back within 3 business days and never heard a word back, therefore I too am done with them, as they apparently are of me. Charging a customer a $14.00 Safe Move fee that was DECLINED when making a reservation on-line and then blaming it on the customer for not RE-DECLINING it at the store is preposterous. My son picked the truck up and had no idea what I had agreed to, so how was it his responsibility to ensure that U-Haul wasnt adding unwanted charges onto the bill? I fully realize that I am but one customer, however....numbers add up and with business practices like this, someone will one day realize that their loyal customers should have mattered because youre not the only option we have.
I went to this store the guy name Dillon was very rude I went to the wrong store he was very nasty on the phone and in-person. I plan to move in a few months. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Tried to fill propane tank, not sure what the problem is. I have no problem with this at other places. Good folks tried to help me.

I use this place every time I move or need boxes. Online make it a breeze in the store. Cost is very reasonable.
I had a terrible experience at this location. I specifically told the person we dealt with that we were not doing in town, and I would be doing a one way. They proceeded to put that I was doing an in town drop off and neglected to tell us. When I tried to drop the truck off at the location I intended to drop off at, someone who we didn’t deal with tried to tell us that we were told to drop off at at the orinogal location. Needless to say they charged me an extra $100 for a wrongful destination fee after I told them it would not be in town. This is a scam to get more money out of people and I will not be dealing with uhaul ever again.
Went in to get a hitch and wiring installed onto my suv, they said that it will take only an hour and it’s took over 2 hours. So I went back to the garage and everyone is just chatting away on a break not working on my car..This is the slowest U-Haul place that I’ve ever been to and I don’t recommend anyone getting a hitch installed at this one.
The whole experience was ABSOLUTLY HORRIBLE! ladies if u just got your hair done and going on a long move bring a portable fan cus the AC barely worked in our truck! the whole experience from the begginng was terrible! they had me and my fiancé running all over Greensboro to find a simple 10’ truck when we had a RESERVATION on THE DAY OF OUR MOVE!!! the first location at UNCG transferred us to the friendly rd location when we got their they tell us they didn’t have a 10’ and we had to go to high point after us driving all the way out there smh the guy then tells us it’s only 10 mins away when in actuality it was like 25 mins away once we plugged it in our GPS! so we drive 25 mins to high point to get our truck, the caucasian guy at the high point store who helped us was very nice and knowledgeable but the trip only got worst. during our trip back to Atlanta we noticed the AC didn’t work so we’re driving 5 plus hours with NO AC (and I had just got my hair done :| )and then it starts to rain so we have to roll our windows up jus to find out the defogger didn’t work which was VERY DANGEROUS! my fiancé could barely see the lines on the highway and we had our rental car attached to the truck on the dolly which made it very terrifying and DANGEROUS for us I literally had to close my eyes in fear we were going to crash! I don’t appreciate UHaul playing us like that when we payed 300 plus dollars for the truck and almost 200 in gas! i’m so disgusted we work very hard for our money not to be wasting it! we will NOT be using Uhaul again!
Staff was very unfriendly. We needed to switch out a tow trailer for a car hauler and were told that yes we could bring it back and exchange it. We get back to the place and they dont have a car hauler??? We asked if they could help us find a hauler nearby and were told no and to call the 800 number. Then we had to ask for the full 800 number. We were able to locate one in Archdale and the guy there was super friendly and accomodating. But it did cost us in mileage on the truck we rented $126 to be exact for less than 9 hours. Dont fall for the $19.95 per day for the truck. Everyone there seemed like they hated their job.
I had the worst experience that I have ever had with a local U haul store. And it is sad to say that this was not even a u haul dealer but an actual store that is a representation of your company. This was not my first time at this store and the other times have even been very pleasant but today was horrible. When I called to inquire about the 10 foot truck I spoke w/ Kendra. She was very polite and professional, she was very helpful and answered all of the questions that I had. I then went to the store to pick up the truck a little before 5 pm. From the time that I walked into the store there was no welcoming. There was a gentleman sitting in the chair at the counter to the far left and another gentleman assisting a couple at the counter. No one acknowledged me or my aunt who was accompanying me. No one said hello, or welcome to u haul I would be with you in a moment which is what I expected to hear. As I approached the counter the gentleman who was sitting down to the far left got up, walked right past me and did not say a word to me or my aunt. The gentleman who was assisting the couple then walked the couple outside and again no type of acknowledgement. He assisted the couple and I noticed that he walked around the vehicle that this couple was renting. He then proceeded to come back in the store, at this time my aunt and I had sat down. As he came in, he nodded his head and then he asked Can I help you. He did not apologize for the wait after we waited in the store for 10 mins to make a transaction. I then walked to the counter, I told him that I was there for a pick up, I provided my name. There was no communication from the beginning of my transaction, he asked me for my address that I was moving to and I provided it as asked. He then provided me the contract to sign and initial without explaining what I was signing of initialing. As I did, I asked him if I could look at the vehicle before he tore the top portion off. He then replied, well you would have had to sign and initial anyways that wouldnt change you having to sign it. I advised him that I was aware of that but it would be beneficial to take a look at the truck before hand. He told my the cost of the transaction was $47.30(the change portion may be incorrect but I am positive of the dollar amount). He did not inquire if I would like to pay with credit or debit or bother to explain what the difference was between the two. My aunt swiped her card as we were under the impression that we were going to be paying for just the $47 dollar amount ONLY. He gave me the contract and did not explain the fuel or anything that has been explained on previous transactions in the past. He did not thank us for our service or smile during any part of this transaction. At this point I was very frustrated and as I saw the other gentleman who was initially sitting on his behind when I first went into the store pull the truck around. I headed outside where he put the truck in park, declined to make any gesture to acknowledge me and proceeded to walk right past me and inside. At this time I was infuriated. Before I left, I walked inside and asked the gentleman who processed my transaction for his name as well as the other guy. He told me his name was Clay and that the other guy who made absolutely no effort to say a word through this ordeals name was Robert. I told him that they should provide better customer service than what they have given me and my aunt, I told him that it was not my first time there and that I was dissatisfied and he did not seem to be bothered of my experience. He did not apologize and his remark was oh. IF this is how Uhaul does business I will tell everyone I know and I will never use this service again. This was a terrible experience and I will second guess using this service ever again. *** If I could give the store a zero I would!
