I had to take my Tesla here. It was the best Tesla experience Ive had since I purchased my vehicle. The man at the service desk, I dont know if I can reveal his name, so I wont. He listened to everything I said, and addressed everything that needed to be done. I was excited to get my car so I didnt really check it out while I was there picking it up. I woke up this morning and immediately took the car out of the garage and checked it out thoroughly finding that it was perfect. Every thing had been addressed above and beyond what I even expected. I cant say enough about the quality of service at this facility compared to others Ive been to. 5 Stars 🤩. Im going to post messages like this on every site that I can find them on because they deserve it. Thank you so much C, and The Tesla Service Team. You guys are Awesome ! 😎☺️
Terrible place. Do not even try to use this location. Seen dozens of bad reviews of this location, my model s needs daughterboard changed in compliance with NHTS recall and service center told me “They will NOT do my recall. My daughterboard if failing yes, but it has not failed enough to change it yet.” The guy I spoke to said “people are driving without there back up cameras and we need to prioritize them first.” Ok. So why is there countless openings for service at your service center? Wouldn’t those be full by people with no backup camera? And if I can’t get my daughterboard replaced yet then why did Tesla send me a letter in the mail that parts are in and now is the time to go to your service center of choice and get it fixed? Either the company is trying to pull something over on the NHTS over the recall or the Highland Park service center is being really shady. Either way I will never use Highland Park service center ever again and recommend that no one else does either. There are 2 other service centers really close if you must go through Tesla. And to be honest after all my experiences with the company I can’t wait for other electric options coming soon like Lucid, Rivian, and Audi. Maybe they will treat there customers right.
Great service center. The staff is always very friendly and have done their best to help me. It can be a little crowded sometimes but today there were no wait times.
I was replacing battery in my car here recently. It took them over 3 weeks to do so which is ok. They did excellent job on that. But the shape i received my car in was just terrible. Not only it was so dirty outside and inside but the center console was ripped out and my windows were sticky from tape or something. I am very disappointed. You would think they at least check the car before returning it to the owner.

Picked up a Model Y, got it home, and it wouldnt charge. Since I picked it up on a Saturday, service wasnt open. Sales guy was helpful, but strung us along all day promising a call back from mobile service... never happened. Spoke with a Manager (Dan) who stated the he was sorry we were told to expect a call from mobile service - which was not possible on Saturday.Fast forward to Monday... took the vehicle to a different TESLA service center who diagnosed the issue as a misaligned pin in the charge port. Issue was resolved immediately on site.Dan earned the dealership 1 star for two reasons... 1. He is responsible for his employee lying to my wife and I about expecting a call from mobile service.... which they knew was never going to happen. 2. Promising to offer a service recovery (store credit, charging, etc...) due to the poor service we received (We had to take a day off of work to get the vehicle in for service, and were not able to drive the new vehicle for two days due to not being able to charge it.). Dan never followed through with the recovery. It has been 3 weeks since we bought the car. Service recovery offer was never received, and emails have been unanswered. Dont offer if youre not going follow through......(TESLA Milwaukee Service Center knocked it out of the park)
Tesla is renowned for there advanced technologies in the automotive industry but hearing the news and others talk about experiences does not bring the Tesla experience justice. The customer service is astounding and unlike any dealership Ive ever been to. They want you to experience the feeling of driving a Tesla so they let me take one home, free of charge, for a day. I have to say it was incredible, both the car and the staff. The person helping us, Paige, is very friendly and made the Tesla experience great. Will highly consider a Tesla and will be coming back!

I recently bought a Model S from the Highland Park location. The sales rep Mujahid was excellent to work with. I had ton of questions and he answered them all on the phone. My experience of buying car was excellent. After I reserved the car in December 2020 Tesla shut down the factory for few weeks and then came up with the refreshed version. Based on what I saw online I was not interested in the refreshed version. Mujahid went out of the way to find me a new 2021 original Model S with the color combination of my choice. There was only one available in North Carolina and he got it for me. I am very happy with my purchase. Mujahid was a great help throughout my buying experience
Great given the circumstances. The parking lot is very small for such a large metropolitan dealership. And even smaller with all the snow piles taking up space and obscuring curbs, etc.
I was very impressed with Highland Park Tesla. Muj was terrific. I’m an engineer with tons of questions and he answered them all. He never tried to “sell me a car”. He got to know me and listened to me, so he could help me pick out the right Tesla with the best options for me. I think I got the perfect car for me thanks to Muj.

Update: manager called back and said it will be 1000 dollars plus labor after individual said on Saturday it would be at no cost. Super frustrated to say the least.This place has gone downhill quick. Call for service takes a 20 minute hold before talking to someone (screenshot attached). They say I can have someone call you back about your issue which doesnt happen. Its now been a week of me calling daily and I still cannot talk to someone to help schedule an appointment. Finally called again today (5th call) and asked for a manager. It seemed like news to this individual and she ordered the parts needed. Once the parts are in they said they will call back to schedule an appointment with me.2013 model SIssue: screen is leaking glue and water is getting in between the trunk and molding of the car. Whenever it rains and I open the trunk ounces of water come out and into the trunk.Its sad to get this type of service when you buy a car of a model Ss value. Hopefully others do not have to experience this.
I was pretty disappointed in the level of service at this location. There are a lot of people trying to pick up cars and pedestal people were not very helpful. Perhaps my expectation was too high.

We found the entire Tesla experience wonderful with no stress at all. Our customer service agent, Mr. Muj, at Highland Park, IL Tesla dealership was outstanding. He listened to our wants and catered to it to perfection, while not giving us any runaround. He provided adequate guidance for us to make our choice and then searched the area to get us the vehicle of our choice. He kept in touch with us via phone and text until we picked up the vehicle from Bloomington, IL. Best of all, when we had an issue where the car would not start post charging, on our way back home late in the night, he picked up our call and guided us through. No issues whatsoever. One of the best experiences pre and post buying a car. Thank you Muj, Highland park team and Tesla.
Picked up our new Tesla at this location a few weeks ago. They were busy, but the staff and volunteers were very welcoming and patient. The delivery process was easy, smooth, and quick. So far, we are pleased as punch with our new car. The top window had a crack, but we were able to make a service appointment just two weeks out. It will be fixed, and theyve guaranteed us a loaner for the duration. Definitely going to go through this location for our next purchase.

I have never had a better experience at a car dealership, if you can even call it a dealership. There were no sleazy salesmen trying to pressure us into a deal, just helpful employees. Nick talked to us for quite a while about all the different options and was very helpful. We walked in and asked for a test drive, taking out both the Model 3 and Model X. One thing to note is that you must be 21 or older to test drive the car. Overall, a great experience and we will be highly considering a Tesla to replace our current daily driver.

They consistently go above and beyond. For example, recently my 12V battery died and they replaced it (for free) after I just showed up to supercharge and didnt have an appointment. I spoke with the service staff and they did it right away! They vacuumed the interior of my car and gave it a quick wash (I just got back from viewing the eclipse and my car was bug spattered). It wasnt the best wash but it was free and I didnt have to do it. I cant say enough good things about the service staff and their professionalism and helpfulness. If you own a Tesla, you already know but if you dont, this is the place to go.
They forgot to calibrate the steering wheel column after replacement, forgot to tighten the negative terminal on the 12v battery, left dirty stains on the A-pillar cover and the inside of the windshield, and this all is a single service visit. I love the car, but the service is a total disappointment.
Friendly service; very willing to answer questions and show you around the cars. Not a lot to be done here, you get the impression that you pick some options from what theyve got, and you pay what it costs. Not a traditional car dealer. I am not (yet) an owner, so I cant speak to the repair services. Its also neat to see that many Teslas in one place.
My husband and I are proud new owners of a Tesla model 3 long range! The purchase was a seamless process of course with the help of our sales advisor Thalia. She was huge help during out the process, and I highly recommend her she is knowledgeable expert when It came to reviewing the car. She was patient and gave us all the time needed. No high-pressure sales tactics on display here. I came to discount the Tesla in my search to replace my BMW SUV. Ended up ordering the Model S because damn is that fun to drive, and has ridiculous amounts of cargo space. Being able to drive zero emissions is just a very satisfying bonus. Great service, too.

The showroom showcases one model. However, the rest are parked outside. The Highland park location currently has the Model S and the Model X. We wanted to test drive the Model 3 because we were told by another Tesla showroom . The Highland park location doesnt have it available. We test drove the Model X instead. We loved it. Were planning on attaining a Model 3 soon with a deposit. The employees were top notch, very knowledgeable about the product with no pressure to buy. They are there to educate the public, to showcase the product but not to throw a sales pitch. I like that. Tesla doesnt have dealers, just showrooms. I like that tooGreat American electric car company.

Very interesting and different car buying experience. The car is amazing and I was helping someone buy the car. But you cant help getting that feeling of getting treated like when you go to the Apple Store. Its like the Apple Store of car dealerships - in the good and in the bad.
Service team was friendly, organized, and efficient. Literally drove my model 3 into the bay and they were ready to diagnose my cars problem.
The staff at the Highland Park facility is excellent. Both for sales and service they go beyond the call to make sure you are satisfied. David and Lisa in particular have both been very helpful to me with my car.

Usually on hold for 20+ minutes to talk to someone. I was told the ranger service would call me back 4 days ago to schedule a visit to fix my car for a 12v battery issue (4th time in 37000) miles. No call back no response. If you are considering a Tesla be sure to understand they have a lot of warranty issues (mine has been in for warranty 25+times) and there is chaos in the service centers. Its not a good feeling when you need to rely on your car.
We went for a test drive here. Place is tiny but staff is well knowledgeable. Model 3 is on display inside the showroom and they have all interior colors and fabric displayed.

I pulled up at 7:15 and the last two guys there were locking up (Google had an 8pm close but its actually 7pm). My brand new Model 3 wasnt charging correctly on my 240v outlet. I suspected it was the adapter. And even though they were just about to go home, Griffin and Danny asked how they could help me. We quickly determined that I did have a faulty adapter and they gave me a new one right away. Great service! Thanks!

It was absolutely great experience. I thought I knew a lot about Tesla when I got there. But experiencing it in person was totally different. In contrast to its relatively big size, this sedan drives like a mid sedan.

Terrible service. I waiting weeks for an appointment and they blew me off by saying Mobile Service will fix it. Then mobile service said highland park should have fixed it. I felt disrespected. They just want to put the work on other departments at Tesla. Very disapointing
Worst customer service ever. Called and left messages three time about my model S and no one ever calls back. Now I’m on hold for 20min. Called the sales area, where they seem to answer and asked for a manager. None are here I’m told by Mario. They will be in tomorrow. Very frustrating.
When you pick up your car and you notice some imperfections that need to be fixed don’t take “someone will call you to set up an appointment “, the truth is no one will call you and to set up an appointment (due bill) they will give you run around. For a minute I thought they were different then any other dealer- thanks for proving me wrong!
Has a convenient supercharger. Staff is always helpful and the location is a good bit nicer than Villa Park simply because its newer and has more space. Great cars too!
There is always something going on there on weekends. Staff can answer your questions about the avaliable models and you can get into a Model X to feel how it would be driving a Tesla. I booked a test drive and I was able to drive a model S. It is my best experience driving a car to this date.
Good service staff. Sales people for the most part are to busy to truly give any support. Parking can be dangerous to your Tesla as it is so crowded.

Want to share my experience with a new Tesla.I received a new Tesla S just about 2 weeks ago.Next day I noticed that my navigation does not work and map is not updated when I drive outside of my home. Then I realized that my phone app is not communicating with the car. After some research it became clear that my Tesla does not have air communication at all unless it is near of WiFi in my home. I setup appointment with Tesla center to fix the problem. It was set up for June 15. A day before the appointment, I got a text message saying that I will be served by Tesla mobile team, instead of me driving all the way to Tesla center (Good news! you will be served by Mobile Team...) . They cancel my in-center appointment and promised to get back to me with a Mobile appointment within 48 hrs. Nobody contact me for 3 days. After I made several phone calls they set up my appointment to June 20. Expecting a problem with mobile service I set up an additional appointment in the center for June 21. Soon after I got a new congratulated me message that my appointment was canceled because they do it by Mobile Team (what a great service). I immediately text back an asked do not cancel my in-Center appointment, with no effect. As I properly expected the mobile team was not able to address the issue. I tried to set up another Center appointment, but turn out I have to wait another 10 days to be served.I call the center again. Nobody answer you unless you select SALE department. In SALE they transfer me to a Service department line. I told them about my experience and they asked me to bring my car next Monday 8 am on June 24. I left my car for repair and they said it will not take long. Meanwhile I can drive a loaner. They gave me an old Tesla S with terrible smell inside which was probably used for several years by thousand people. I cannot sit in the car unless I open all the windows. Several hrs later I checked my app and it said the repair will be done by 5 pm the same day. I came to pick up my fixed new car in the center at 5, turn out nobody did anything with it. It was in exactly the same state as before. They said the pickup time was an estimate and they now changed my pick up day to Wednesday 5 pm. 3 hrs later I found that my appointment and status of the service disappeared completely from my phone app. I am not sure if I will see my car or it will be repaired and if I get any apology for two weeks of total frustration.So if you are thinking to buy Tesla think twice. You may find more problem than you are bargaining for. This is a car which costs more than average luxury car and it will give you more headache than a cheapest car on the road. All happened in Highland Park (Chicago area) service center.Yury Z.
